Izuku's POV

'Huh, it seems like the great Bakago is still here, completely expected, but still such a letdown' Izuku thought to himself as he watched the angry pomeranian spew curses and such as the others made their way to the locker rooms to change.

'Well, on the bright side, he's not really going to recognize me, not yet at least'

"Hey, little listener, I'm going to go to the fake cities to do some announcin' , but you could go to the observers booth to watch the other examiners" Present Mike said to the wolf boy.

"And where is that?"

"It's...hmm, well..." he stopped to think about how to direct the kid, before seeing something in the corner of his eye.

"Follow the giant yellow caterpillar that's rolling on the floor"

Sure enough, rolling on its way to the observers room was a giant yellow caterpillar.

"...Huh, weird... Anyway, thank you for showing me the way" Izuku said, bowing to show respect to the hero.

"Ahh, so respectful, no problem!" The hero said as they made their way to the fake cities to prepare to shout at kids for part of his job.

And so Izuku followed the mysterious yellow caterpillar to the observers room.

Tokoyami Pov:

(This is the clothes he's wearing, made it myself)

Stepping off of the bus, me and the other examiners walked up to the gate.

Which was absolutely massive, but it was UA, so they had the money to do so. Looking around at the competition, I could see a small purple child with weird hair, a tall guy with webbed arms, a girl with long earlobes and purple hair, and... 'Ugh, that guy' Tokoyami thought as he watched the sonic ripoff doing some stretches, trying to look confident, but I could tell he was still freaked out by Izuku.

The sight puts a smile on my face, 'I'm not usually one for pettiness, but serves your right'

Suddenly, the gates opened.

Everyone was frozen, waiting for the go-ahead, but not me, if this was a real life villain attack, you can't wait for someone to get hurt.

While I ran right past everybody, an announcement came on.

"WHAT ARE YA DOING, THERE ARE NO COUNTDOWN IN REAL LIFE, GO GO GOOO!!!"

Everyone soon scrambled to get through the gates and into the city, while I was already seeing the robots.

I immediately ran straight into a group of two pointers and used Darkshadow to tear them to shreds. It was surprisingly easy, but maybe that was because of my training and new quirk boost, which is incredibly dangerous now since it has the power of All Might added with it.

running around, there was nothing but a path of robots torn by giant claws left in my wake, the faux villains were easy, it felt as if they were made of paper to dark shadow.

Stepping away from a rather large pile of destroyed robots, I heard a girl screaming for help, turning around, I ran to where the noise originated from.

'I'm sure I have enough points to pass the exam, besides, a true hero would never leave someone to face danger on their own!'

Turning around a corner, I saw a small group of 1 and 2 pointers surrounding someone who was on the ground. Blink and you'll miss it, Dark Shadow came out without me asking due to being able to read my emotions and will, with a single clawed swipe the robots were completely shredded in half.

The robots fell down to the concrete, metal scraping on the concrete. looking at slight awe of the newly added strength to DS (Dark Shadow), I looked over to the girl to see if they were ok.

Sitting there on the ground was a small, shaking, crying, purpled haired child. Concerned, I couldn't help but ask, "Excuse me, are you lost child?"

The child looked up in indignation and cried out, "HEY, I WAS ABOUT TO DIE, IT'S NOT MY FAULT THE ROBOTS WERE SCARED OF MY POWER AND DECIDED TO GANG UP ON ME TO TAKE ME DOWN, MY QUIRK ISN'T GOOD FOR-HEY WHERE ARE YOU GOING!!!!" The child with weird purple hair screamed at me as I left to go help more people.

Izuku Pov

Stepping into the room that the yellow catipillar rolled in, I made my way to the many screens taking up the entire wall.

I was trying to see if I could find Tokoyami, when out of the corner of my eye, I see All Might in his deflated form.

Walking over, I say hi.

"Hey Toshinori, how are things?" I say, not sure if everybody in hearing range knows his secret or not.

Toshinori was just watching the applicants walk off the busses when Ogami walks up casually and just says hi.

"Oh, hey young Ogami, what are you doing here?" He says casually, as if talking to an old friend, which shocks most of the teachers.

"Not much, just came to see my friend do the exams, and you can relax everyone, I'm just a friend." I say as all the teachers stiffened, some taking a defensive position.

Toshinori turns to the others and let's him know it's all right and that Ogami knows his secret.

Things calm down and Izuku goes back to see if he can find Tokoyami.

Soon enough, the gates open in all the cities, and out of all the gates, only one of the had someone enter as soon as the gates opened.

And behold, Tokoyami rushing a group of robots and decimating them completely.

Running around, her helped other applicants while still getting villain points.

The whole time, Izuku stood trying to look indifferent, but even he couldn't stop the smile that slowly spread across his face at watching his childhood friend do so well.

After a while of this, a small white animal notified the staff that it was "time"

A guy in a mask, cowboy hat, and a red poncho pushed a red button.

Internally I was thinking, 'why'd you press the red button, that's bad, red buttons are always bad, everybody knows that'

'...why's the ground rumbling?'

Tokoyami Pov

Tearing another bot into nothing more than ribbons of metal and wire, I could feel the ground start to shake.

Looking around, I tried to figure or what was happening when out of nowhere, I hear the crumbling of a building, the shattering of glass as it broke and fell to the ground.

Turning around I come face to face with a ridiculously huge robot.

This is the zero pointer, now it makes more sense that on the pamphlet the icon for the zero pointer looked like it said OP for over powered.

My original plan was to make sure no one was nearby the thing to get injured, but that plan went straight or the window as soon as I saw the girl with purple hair and long earlobes with some rubble holding them down.

As I ran towards the oversized rust bucket, I see a certain sonic ripoff running away from the robot.

And that, pisses me off.

Sprinting towards, DS helped by reaching forward, digging his claws into the ground and launching Fumikage through the air.

The wind blew through my hair as I practically flew towards the girl, and I say practically because gravity exists and I'm about to overshoot straight into a wall.

Luckily, DS reached backwards and dig his claws in the ground again to hold me back.

Touching solid ground again, I run quickly to the girl, swiftly and gently lifting the large pieces of building off of her.

"Can you move?" I asked quickly.

"I'm Sorry, I think I sprained my ankle" she said to me, looking as if she was blaming herself.

Thinking quickly, I realized the robot was almost right up on us, and since the girl can't run, I might have to pick her up.

Deciding that I spent enough time thinking, DS grabbed the girl gently by scooping her into the shadows large hands, as if it were cupping a small ball in it's hands.

Running away, I realized that if this were real, chances are the enemy would be faster than the faux villain.

And so I quickly turned into an alley, dredging up some bad memories, and softly depositing her on the ground.

"Please stay here, I'll deal with the robot" I said, the girl looked like she was going to say something, but I had already left.

'A hero wouldn't just leave someone alone and injured like that, but that alley is bringing up some dark memories'

I looked up at the robot, it was huge, taller than the buildings and destroying the road as it treaded steadily along.

The only thought in my head while looking up at that thing was what would a hero do- no, what would Izuku do.

'Something crazy'

"Okay then"

I braced myself and ran towards the towering machine.

If I was going to take down something that big, I was going to use OFA, the effects were immediate, Dark Shadow loomed behind me as we both were covered by black arcs of pure power.

Dark Shadow punched the ground under my feet, launching its into the air and once again, I was flying.

While I was in the air flying at a dangerous speed, I was in position to attack, and as such, started to spin rapidly.

Dark Shadow was skinning rapidly with arms out, and once we were close enough, pulled them in some, greatly increasing my inertia.

The robots neck didn't stand a chance against the speed, strength, and sharpness of the shadow claws. The head of the giant faux villain was sliced off with bits of metal and wires going everywhere, luckily, it didn't explode because with how close he was that would've been a disaster for Dark Shadow, especially this high in the air.

The zero pointers head was being taken down by gravity as I was, Dark Shadow spread his arms thin and wide, creating a sort of parachute.

As I was gliding down through the air, I couldn't help but love the feeling, maybe it was part of the fact that my quirk was related to birds, but it felt amazing to be in the air, the sound of my clothes flapping in the sky, the wind caressing my face and breeding through my hair, I was practically high on the feeling.

But all good things come to an end.

The peace was broken by the terrible sound of metal and glass on concrete, with the announcer screaming something about "Limes up" whatever that meant.

Landing on the ground safely, I felt the wind get displaced by my sudden decent, and then return to normal.

Looking around, I could now tell that the exam was over.

"That was crazy!" Dark Shadow exclaimed.

"Yes, that was rather terrifying, but also surprisingly exhilarating" I said to my quirk as I stated to make my way out of the gates and to the busses back to the locker rooms to change back into my casual clothes.

Izuku Pov

The teachers were shocked, yes people had often attempted to fight the monster that was the zero pointer in the past, but few have ever been able to take it down in a single attack.

The staff broke out of their stupor when the heard a door close, and noticed a distinct lack of beastman.

Izuku left the room for fear of shouting out in joy and amazement at his friends work at taking down the zero pointer.

'Come on Izuku, you got a reputation to uphold' Ogami thought shaking with joy, which was really just his tail wagging to hard it was shaking his entire body.

When Izuku got outside, he decided to wait by the gate, some people were giving him wide berth, some just ignored him, and others tried throwing some miscellaneous items at him of which he dodged.

And when Fumikage finally got out of the locker rooms and was leaving the school, he saw Izuku with a neutral yet dark look on his face, which was put off by the intense wagging of his tail.

And by god it was one of the most adorable things he had ever seen in his life.

He was about to say something when he noticed Izuku sniffing at the air, then immediately turning his head at breakneck speed to look in Tokoyami's direction.

Some people started muttering about the poor guy about to be killed.

Fumikage was at a loss, he didn't know what his wolfy friend was thinking, and suddenly his world went dark.

And all he felt was warmth, the scent of smokey cinnamon rolls at a campfire with a hint of liquor.
He could hear a rhythmic beating, as well as feeling the strong pulses spreading throughout his body.

Strong yet gentle structures wrapping around holding him secure, and something soft lying on his head. Somewhere in the back of his mind, he idly noted that dark shadow was shouting in joy and cooing at him.

He shortly started to realise what was happening as a blush started to make itself known to all parties included.

Izuku, eased off of his hug and let go after noticing that his friend wasn't moving, and was worried that he had forgotten to hold back his strength when he was high on joy.

As Izuku's arms left Fumikage, he couldn't help but feel a chill where warmth used to be and shivered slightly.

'Was it always this cold?" Tokoyami silently wondered to himself.

Breaking out of his stupor, he noticed the looks they were getting from all the other students.

Trying to play off his embarrassment, he attempted to tease Izuku.

"So, are we throwing your plan out the window or..." He said, reminding the wolf of his deal.

The wolf in question sputtered a little before sighing.

"Well, it's not my fault, you make it too hard to pretend to be strangers when you turn around and take down a zero pointer like it was nothing" Izuku smirked, a fang sticking out of his maw.

'Oh darkness that's hot' The shadow user thought to themselves, ears turning red at the thought.

Before anyone could notice, he grabbed Izuku's furry hand and dragged him off and towards his home.

As he was pulling Izuku along, he idly noted how his claws were always slightly sticking out, along with how paradoxically soft yet strong his hands felt.

As Izuku was being dragged, he tried to ignore just how well their hands for together.

"S-so, where are we going?" Izuku cursed himself for the stutter, something he had long since been rid of.

"Well, I figured a celebration is in order, for me finishing the exam, and you for no longer hiding your true self" raven haired guy said as he focused on remembering where his friend lived.

Izuku could only smile, not paying attention to the eyes of passersby eyes.

Time Skip

Omni Pov

"So, what do you wanna do Toko?" Izuku asked, changing out of his clothes from the day and into something more comfortable.

Tokoyami was right outside of his room, thinking about what to do, luckily for him, he brought another pair of clothes just for the occasion in his duffel bag.

Earlier, he had contacted his parents to let them know he would be hanging out with his friend to celebrate, and that he'll probably spend the night, of which they and Izuku were ok with.

"Well, I figured we could stay here for the night. We could try to eat elsewhere, but I'm not confident that no one will try to attack us, so we could cook some food together, eat, then start a movie marathon and play some video games if you have them..."

Tokoyami rambled on, he was kinda occupied with looking at what he was currently wearing, which happened to be some deep purple shorts that peeked out from the soft charcoal hoodie that went to his upper thigh, along with some black fuzzy socks that he only wore when he was alone.

So what, sue him, they were deceptively comfortable.

Upon hearing the doorknob twist open, he looked up to see what Izuku was wearing.

And oh my darkness.

The comfortable wolf was wearing some slightly baggy gray sweatpants, and a black tank top that showed off his muscles and ridiculously soft fur, never mind that it looked amazing with his cool forest green fur.

And no, he wasn't staring at the purple nylon underwear that was peeking out from his sweatpants, and no he most certainly wasn't blushing.

And of course Izuku bring the oblivious wolf he is, didn't even notice his friend/crush talk.

"Well, what do you wanna do?"
