The sky was clear, not a single cloud lingered in sight, the occasional bird would fly by while singing its song. Here we turn or attention towards our raven haired boy as he stands on a medium sized pile of trash.

Looking out at the ocean, the view was almost perfect, of it weren't for the rest of the trash that had made its home on the beach.

All Might was just just arriving to see the progress that his successor had made.

Tokoyami was two thirds done with cleaning the beach when he noticed All Might approaching from the steps.

"Hello All Might, are we doing more combat training?" He asked.

"No young Tokoyami, but we will be training. Today is going to be very different, I just need young Ogami to be here for it." Toshinori said ominously.

'What could we possibly be doing?'

"Hey guys." Izuku said suddenly, appearing out of thin air.

All Might was spooked so badly he unwillingly turned into his small might form.

"Aaaahhhh- *cough cough wheeeze*

"Young...Ogami...please, please don't do that again." Toshinori said with blood dripping down his mouth.

"Oh, sorry small might, anyway, here's a napkin." Izuku said, handing Yagi a tissue from his trench coat.

Tokoyami looked at what Izuku was wearing.

'A trench coat, black muscle shirt, army style black pants, his signature gloves and shoes. Ok that's actually really cool... and a...dog collar, no wait he's always wearing that, ever since he came back. I should ask him why, either way it's really ho-'

His thoughts on Izuku's clothing choice was thankfully interrupted when he realised All Might buffed back up and finished talking about whatever they were talking about.

"Alright young Tokoyami, you're halfway, this is were things are going to change drastically, but first, let's see how your physic has changed since cleaning."

'Wait wait wait, I have to take off my shirt in front of Izuku, shit, what will he think, NO, he's your friend, and we used to train with each other all the time'

Steeling his resolve, Tokoyami removed his shirt as nonchalantly as he possibly could.

Izuku's eyes had widened a bit, considering he was surprised by his friends muscle.

His mind was telling him no~

But his BOOODYYY, HIS BOODYYY WAS TELLIN HIM YEEEEEE~cough*

Um... Yeeeeaaahh, sorry about that.

"What was that young Ogami?"

'Shit shit shit shit shit shit shit'

Izuku thought to himself, trying hard not to blush, he knew he might have a crush on his best and only friend from when they hugged and Fumikage pet him.

And in the great words of some famous guy who's name I can't remember.

- "I was not prepared.".

"Erm, it's nothing, just thinking to myself." He said.

"Hm, well alright." All Might said, unaware of the awkwardness of the two teens.

"You seem to be at the right athletic shape to be able to handle this, that and your work doesn't really rely on your body's physical strength. I think you are ready!"

"Ready? For what?" Tokoyami asked confused and slightly embarrassed to be shirtless in front of his best friend turned crush.

"Listen here young Tokoyami, in this world, there are those that want power, and those that work for it, it's hard to do, and harder to keep hold to, as it can drive some to corruption. You however, you have a clear goal and a strong will to fight for the oppressed, you along with young Ogami will be the future of hero's- All Might was saying while he pulled a stand of hair from his head.

-Now reach, reach for the future-

'This is it, another step towards being a true hero'

"...what...?"

Time skip brought to you by water, drink water.

... No I'm not joking, did you drink water today, if not, you drink some water right now or so help me I will crawl through the screen horror movie style and force you to hydrate.

On a completely related note, I swear on my abuelas iron sole chanclas that the best water you will ever taste, is when you wake up in the middle of the night and walk to the bathroom sink to drink from the tap.

Deadass, it's our inner fish going *splash* yay water.

Anyway, back to the story.

Tokoyami was on his side, laying on the ground with All Might standing proud, and Izuku laughing in the background.

"Anyway, the UA exams are in three months, that should be enough time to get used to having that power of yours."

Tokoyami shuddered on the ground for the umpteenth time but shakily rose to his feat.

"Listen, the power will take some time to form, and it is rather late, so we'll try it out some time this afternoon since its still morning, for now, it's time for me to GOOOOooooo- All Might said as he leaped into the sky.

Izuku walked up to his forlorn friend.

"Hey, do you wanna go for a walk, the weather's nice right now." He asked, wanting to get his mind off of the 'hair indecent'.

"Yeah, I would like that."

And so the two went for a walk on the beach and towards the pier.

"How do you feel about having All Mights power?" Izuku said.

"Hmm, well, at first I was unsure, since I wanted to be a hero using my own strength, but sometimes, my quirk isn't enough. This power will give me a chance to help more people, and that's what matters most to me."

"Yeah, I get where your coming from, at first, all I wanted to do was to find a cure for my beastman-itus, but instead, realised that I could use this power to be a hero, even if it does cause complications." Izuku spoke.

"Hey speaking of complications, why are you always wearing that dog collar?" Tokoyami asked, it had been on the young man's mind for a while.

On the other hand, Izuku was slightly embarrassed, he was a wolf beastman with a dog collar, so to the young wolf often saw it as a kinky lock for his power.

"Well, there's a story behind this thing actually, it's pretty strange. Here, let's sit down for a moment." Ogami said pointing towards the pier.

"Alright."

Arriving at the pier, the two stood for a moment, then, Izuku took off his shoes so that his feet could touch the water, and Fumikage joined him.

Both were sitting with their feet in the water, simply relaxing for the time being, and so Izuku began his tale.

"When I was training my powers, I had realised that my powers were inherited from my mom and dad-"

"What?" Tokoyami interrupted.

"-Sorry, my adoptive parents, but I see them as my real parents. Besides, I have more in common with them than my actual shit excuse of parents"

"Right, sorry for cutting you off, please, continue." Toko said, gesturing for Izuku to finish with his story.

"It's no problem, anyway, my powers came from my parents. My dad had super strength, regeneration, and a 'God Wolf' form. While my mother can transform any part of her body to that of another animal, while being able to adjust the size of the limbs at will, plus stretchy arms." Izuku added.

"I remember that morning when your arm stretched to catch that thing, I can't remember what it was, but I do remember is both freaking out." Tokoyami laughed.

Ogami smiled, "Yeah, that was terrifying,  out of nowhere, my arm just stretches like an extra eight feet, scary stuff."

"Anyway,  during a very bad fight with some crook villains, I ended up getting punched into a shipping container by an buff 8'11 crocodile."

Izuku wasn't aware that his friend was looking at him like he was some sort of ghost. "An almost nine for crocodile punched you into a shipping crate?"

"Hm? Oh yeah, he was a member in a gang that had put my mom in a hospital, so we took their entire gang and super drug operation out in a day and a half." Ogami calmly explained.

"Well...shit." Tokoyami said exasperated.

"Mm, shit indeed." Izuku agreed.

"Anyway, after I was launched into the shipping container, I was temporarily knocked out, when my conscious returned, I was standing in front of a fried crocodile and my dad looking at me with shock and pride.

It was then that I had noticed that I was a giant wolf glowing an emerald green with lightning flowing off and around my body. I shrunk back into my normal form after some figuring out.

The next day, my body was vibrating, and the 'V' on my chest was glowing. My dad had the same problem for a while, he wore a collar to seal of his power, so that's why I wear this collar, it's to prevent my power from going all out." Izuku finished.

"...Wow, that's a lot." A shocked Fumikage spoke.

"Yeah, I was scared of it for a short while. It's so much power, and if I'm not careful, it can cause a lot of destruction."

"Yeah, I get that too, if it's too dark, Darkshadow can lose himself and destroy everything around him, so I know where your coming from."

The two sat in peace and quiet as they relaxed with their feet in the cold water. It really was a beautiful day, it was nice and sunny for now, but it was already afternoon, and the sun would start to set in a few hours time.

Just then Tokoyami's stomach grumbled.

"You wanna grab something to eat real quick?" Izuku asked.

Tokoyami, while slightly embarrassed that his stomach growled like that, begrudgingly agreed to grab something to eat.

While the two were walking, they found a small udon spot.

Entering the small establishment, they saw two were currently eating at one side of the route of seats.

A man with black hair, missing an arm, and dressed in purple and black, was talking to another. This man was dressed in mostly orange, had spiky blond hair, and what seemed to be whiskers on his face.

The black haired one was talking calmly while the blond haired one was gesturing wildly while saying "You better believe it!"

The two ordered a small bowl of udon and are quietly.

Once the two were finished, they left to go back to the beach since All Might would be returning to train him to control his new power.

Arriving at the beach, the air was much cooler now, and the sun was going to set in a couple of hours.

All Might was in his skinny form sitting on a tall refrigerator waiting patiently.

"Hey All M- sorry, Toshinori, we went to grab something to eat." Fumikage said.

"It's no problem young Tokoyami, I was just enjoying the view. Now, that hair should be digested by now, so you should have the power, now the only thing I'm worried about is how it's going to affect your quirk." He said, clearly worried.

"What do you mean?" Tokoyami asked.

"Well, it acts like a power boost, and your quirk can evolve in a way to better handle the power." Yagi explained.

"Huh, well how did it affect your quirk?" The ninth holder asked.

"Oh I didn't have a quirk, so it just gave me super strength and speed, while making my body muscular enough to handle the crazy amount of power that was One For All."

"You didn't have a quirk?" Izuku asked.

"It wasn't as rare as it was back then, anyway, young Tokoyami. I want you to try to imagine that power, and use it how you would." Toshinori said, standing back while buffing up.

Izuku transformed into his wolf form, they wanted to be ready to handle the situation should one arise.

Tokoyami took in a deep breath to calm himself, and faced the ocean.

He walked until his feet we touching the water, having taken off his shoes and placing them safely away.

Taking another deep breath, he tried to manifest the new power.

Black lines started to form all over his body, and an 'x' formed in his face, but it didn't take long him to gasp for air as he shut the power off, sensing that if he held on to it for any longer, he might have injured himself.

It was then that he got another idea.

Darkshadow could shrink and grow depending on how much power he was using, so he could theoretically use the power through Darkshadow, while not being injured in the process.

The second he tried, a huge cloud of black smoke took his place.

Izuku and All Might were getting ready for a fight, they didn't know what was happening, so they were getting ready for the worst outcome.

The black smoke cleared.

Tokoyami was gone.

"That was interesting."

...

"Guys?"

Tokoyami turned around to look at Izuku and Toshinori, but they were no where to be seen.

He was starting to freak out.

"Guys!"

*swish*

Fumikage spun around to see what the noise came from. Everywhere was foggy black, but from the fog came a shadow.

It looked suspiciously like a crow.

"Hi bro! Wait what are you doing here?" The giant crow shadow thing spoke.

...

"Darkshadow?" Fumikage asked, completely flabbergasted.

"Yeah?"

...

....

.....

"WHAT!!"

"Hey hey hey, calm down dude, I'm freaked out too, considering this is my home."

"Your...home?" Tokoyami asked.

"Yeah, I'm your quirk, when I'm not outside, I'm here in this cozy place.

Look, I'm a part of you, so I know everything about you, I practically am you.

That power is very strong, and I felt myself evolving the second you ate that hair."

"Please don't bring that up." Tokoyami begged, he never wanted to hear about it again.

"Oh Sorry, anyway, I evolved, you can use that power separately if you want, which would help you make your attacks more diverse.

But it also evolved me, now when you go back to the real world, you'll see what I mean."

...

"How do I do that?"

"Oh right, just imagine summoning yourself, as if you were me, and pull yourself out."

"Ok so...like th- Tokoyami couldn't finish, he was surrounded by black shadows and he couldn't see anymore.

Only a few minutes passed, when a black smoke started to spiral in the exact location that he was standing before.

-is?" He said as he could see again, and this time he was facing the sea.

"Huh I guess it workAAAHH- he didn't get to finish his sentence before he got tackled, almost falling over in the process.

The first thing he noticed was the warmth, second came the smell of liquor and cinnamon rolls.

"Izuku, are you ok?"

The only response he got was a whine.

"...Izuku?"

"Warn me next time you turn into smoke and disappear, please." Ogami begged.

It was then that Tokoyami saw the tears that were starting to form in his friends eyes.

It damn near broke his heart to know that he was the cause of that. He sat up and grabbed Izuku's face, pulling it into his chest.

"Hey Hey, sshh, it's ok, I'm here, I'm not going anywhere." Tokoyami said, trying to calm down Ogami while petting and rubbing his fluffy ears and head.

All Might was witnessing everything and only had one thing to say.

"Ahh, young love."

The two weren't even paying attention.

After a short 5 minutes, the two boys separated and stood back up, feeling better then ever.

"You had us worried young man, so, did you discover anything young Tokoyami?" All Might asked curious.

"Well, I did find where Darkshadow lives."

All Might de-buffed because he was out of time.

"Anything else?"

"Umm, oh yeah, this."

Tokoyami stepped back and called out Darkshadow.

But something was different.

He was separated.

"Uhhhhhh."

...

"Ok..."

"Yo! You see what I mean. Now I can go as far as I want, and check this out, try using OFA!"

Tokoyami let the power flow through his body again, the black lines formed along his body again, but this time, there was a hint of purple to it. The same lines formed on Darkshadow.

"Hisashi, we need to buy more food, can you get the groceries while I watch Izumi?"

"Yeah."

Hisashi made his way to the door to go get some groceries, while Inko was sitting at the kitchen table with Izumi as she scribbled in a hero coloring book.

Their childs third birthday was in two days, yet she already had a quirk. It's called flame manipulation, she'll be able to have complete control over any kind of fire.

"Mommy's going to watch the news, do you wanna come with?"

"Yay, teevee!" The child said as she scrambled into the living room.

Inko laughed a little to herself as she watched the spectacle.

Walking into the living room, she saw Izumi sitting on the sofa waiting patiently for her to turn on the news.

Grabbing the Tv remote, Inko turned on the flat screen to the news.

*Breaking News*

"Today in Musutafu, a villain had taken a young man hostage, the boy was Katsuki Bakugo."

"Oh my, I should call Mitsuki to see how their doing." She reached for get phone to call the Bakugo's, but before she could unlock hey phone, the news continued.

"The hero's were trying to figure out how to save the hostage, when out of nowhere, a young man who's name hadn't yet been revealed had saved the victim, afterwards, subduing the villain. Here's the footage."

Inko watched as a young man ran into the destruction, performing attacks faster than she could even see.

He then got impaled through the torso by three tentacles. She gasped as the though that the young man had died, his body thrown to the ground.

She was completely shocked to see him stand up a few seconds later looking more annoyed than hurt.

The man outmaneuvered the villain, ripping out it's eye in the process.

He was then swarmed by the people, news reporters, and hero's.

She wad confused to why the boy seemed so familiar. I was when he made his speech of true heroism that she blanched.

It was Izuku.

Idk, but what I do know it that I'm making another story right now.

That helps because I won't get burnt out on focusing on one story only, and two books are better than one.

Probably.
