"I'll miss you."

"I'll miss you too mom, when you get back, tell dad I said hi." Izuku said as the two were still in the hug.

Michiru held on for a little longer, this was the last time she would be able to hug her son for who knows how long, she wanted to remember the moment, but understanding that she needed to go, she backed off and gave him a nod.

Stepping back, she morphed her wings and took off into the sky, beginning her journey back to Anima-City. It was an experience to say the least, and it wad an experience she didn't want to ever go through again, leaving her son to live alone in a city that is filled with Anti-Beastmen, she wanted to cry at the irony of it all, but it was Izuku's dream, so she would support him with everything that she had, and then some.

Flying over the water that separated Musutafu from Anima-City, she felt a feeling of nostalgia, from it being late at night and coming back reminded her of the party she had snuck to when she figured out how to shift back into a human.

Turning hey attention back to her flight to the city, she couldn't stop the few tears that few through the air on her way to the Medi-Cen as she felt the wind blowing through her fur, as great as flying was, she was still greatly saddened by Izuku's departure. Even knowing that he would be back still didn't do much to calm the heart of the 22 year old tanuki.

(A/N- Izuku came to Anima-City when he was 14, and Michiru was 18, so after four years she's now 22)

She came into view of the Medi-Cen, flying up to land on the roof, she opened her wings to glide down softly as she landed.

Slowly stepping up to Shirou, she lifted up her head to look at him for a moment, then turned her head down and to the left, eyes downcast and mood saddened.

"Izuku says hi.." She mumbled to her serious boyfriend.

"No."

Michiru looked up confused by Shirous response.

"No?"

"No." He repeated as he grabbed hey and pulled her tightly into his body for a hug, at first she was surprised, but then she started crying because the hug was like whenever you got hurt and were about to cry, but you don't then later someone asks you if your okay, then the tears just start falling for no reason.

Izuku was no longer with them, they were no longer the 'Beast Trio, they were just by themselves again, and after having that amazing family, having to go back to just being the 'Beast Duo' made her inexplicably sad.

She said nothing as she returned the hug while grabbing desperately at Shirou for some sort of stability.

All the while Shirou was thinking of ways to get her to stop crying, when she was hurting, he was hurting, it was as simple as that.

The sobbing continued, so Shirou responded by shifting into his wolf form and lifting her off of the ground, walking with her in his arms bridal-style to the elevators.

She 'eeep'ed, but made no move to escape the warmth of the wolf that loved her.

The ride down was quiet, and peaceful moment for the two hero's, something they didn't always have.

Shirou on the other hand, was doing fine, yes he was a little down due to Izuku's departure, but he wasn't scared, his son was a fighter, not much could faze his kid.

Arriving to the bottom floor, Michiru was conflicted, she didn't want to make Shirou carry her all the way to the beast co-op, but he was so warm, ave smelled like rain, she couldn't help drifting off.

Shirou was halfway home when he felt the body he held go limp, looking down, he saw Michiru was out like a light, doing his signature small smile, he angled her head towards his and leaned down slightly to kiss her cheek.

He couldn't believe how happy she and Izuku made him, experiencing all of this now, it made him wonder how he even lived like he did before, though he supposed it wasn't living, just existing.

Shaking his head at the thought, he continued his walk into the night, Ogami was grateful that there weren't that many people out tonight, it just made the walk more of an experience, he wondered how it would be to ask Michiru of she wanted to walk in the park with him, or go to the store with him, he started getting all these ideas of just living life with her and doing everyday things, they used to be mundane tasks, but now for some reason Shirou was exited to do these things with her.

As he neared the beast co-op, he felt his body shift slightly, it wasn't a physical change, but something just felt different with his body, but as he looked up, he realized that he was home, so he put the thought away for later.

Opening the door while holding someone in their arms turned out to be a rather hard task to do than he originally thought, but he pushed on and somehow managed to make it into his room.

He put his left heel on his right heel to take his boot off, doing the same thing for the other boot, me set Michiru on the couch temporarily so that he could take off her shoes and set them down, as he refused to ever have shoes in bed.

Picking her up again, he walked up the ladder and up towards the bed, setting her down he was face to face with the love of his life.

Feeling more tired than usual, he simply took off his coat and long sleeve shirt, and pulled the covers over him and Michiru.

Facing Michiru, he saw just how peaceful she looked, she, for some reason always smelled slightly of flowers, the way she would sometimes wear his shirts and it would be baggy on her, and he would act like he was slightly annoyed, but secretly love it. She stirred something deep in him.

As a result, he grabbed her and pulled her into his body, just wanting to hold her more.

Ironically, as he held tighter, he could feel his mind letting go, his last thoughts before he feel asleep were of his family, Michiru and his son.

'Warm'

'It's so warm'

The first thoughts Michiru had as she woke up were of warmth, the next was smell.

'Is that...rain?'

Coming to a conclusion, she realized that she was in bed with Shirou, nothing unusual, but for some reason, she couldn't move, it was as if there were strong arms holding her down to the bed, and nothing could explain why her face was pressed in some of the softest floof she had ever felt.

Opening her eyes, she came face to face with some white fur, she was confused until she could see the fur moving out and in that this was Shirous chest.

Blushing slightly, she looked up to see that Shirou had fallen asleep in his wolf form, but the peaceful look on his face was worth being embarrassed. His face was calm and relaxed, which was a rare sight, considering that for a while, she thought his face was stuck in a permanent pissed of eyebrows look.

But the way he looked when at peace, no grimace, or trying to intimidate enemy's, just his peaceful face, stirred something in her, it made Michiru want to get him to relax and smile more.

But for now, she was busy with having an intriguing conversation with Shirous chest floof.

Meanwhile Shirou was just waking up to soft hands caressing his chest and a beautiful voice that was talking about random topics, such as getting in a heated argument about how water was not wet, and wondering why people call it a 'full moon' when you only ever always see only half of it.

Opening his eyes, he was met with the sight of two small, round ears.

Looking down, he could see the most beautiful creature he had ever laid eyes on, he was still feeling slightly tired from whatever happened yesterday, as a result, he was no where near being fully awake, which led him lean towards one of the furry ears and give it a lick.

"Eeeep!"

Looking down, at the beautiful animal, he could see their eyes, the eyes were bright blue with an almost neon pink at the bottom, they were truly unique.

Michiru was just finishing a compelling argument on why things are never on fire, but fire is always on things when she felt Shirou lean down and slowly lick one of her ears.

She couldn't stop the noise that came out of her mouth, which only served to embarrass her greatly.

Looking up, her gaze meet Shirous, but the thing is, he looked half asleep, but looking in his eyes, he was completely relaxed, so despite the embarrassment, she couldn't help but smile brightly.

The next thing she knew, Shirou was leaning down to her face, and kissed her at the corner of her mouth.

'So close...'

She looked back up at Shirous face, his silver eyes looking back at her.

'But not close enough'

She closed the distance and pressed hey lips against his.

Her mind immediately went blank, she couldn't think of anything else but him, and he was what she wanted.

Shirou on the other hand woke up a little after the impromptu kiss near the lips, but then he couldn't decide whether he should say sorry or not, his question was answered when Michiru grabbed him by his neck and pulled him into another kiss.

His body felt as if he was shocked as his while body tensed, but he soon fell into the kiss, wanting nothing more, and both were far too deep into the kiss to care about morning breath.

After kissing for about a minute, the kiss was broke, by now, Shirou was definitely awake, he couldn't really remember what led up to this moment, but he really couldn't complain.

Both just looked into each others eyes, before they both leaned towards each other slightly, which was confirmation enough that they both wanted the same thing.

Moving forwards to kiss again, Michiru wrapped her arms around his neck while Shirou put his hands on both sides of her face for better access.

They preceded to make out for a while, breaking apart this time they both realised they were panting, it was a if they had just ran a marathon.

Shirou couldn't help but wag his tail, Michiru saw this and laughed softly, choosing to grab his face with both hands and pull him down for a quick peck on his nose.

He made a funny face for a moment, but neither could being themselves to move.

Finally, Michiru let go when she looked behind him and saw the time was 10:54 am.

Groaning as she realised they had overslept, but blushing when she realised how long they were making out.

Shirou saw her blushing, confused at first, but then realised what he had started and couldn't stop the small blush from showing on his ears.

Michiru saw this and laughed a little.

Both realised that they should get ready for the day.

Shirou got out of the bed and walked over to the closet with Michiru in tow.

Opening the closet, they had several of the same shirts, pants. Part of it was a running gag, but another part was that they were their favorite clothes.

But today was going to be warm and breezy, so Shirou had decided to wear the exact same clothes, except the long sleeve was a t-shirt. Michiru wore the same clothes as well, seeing as she usually wore shorts anyway, but this time she decided to wear a tank top and her signature jacket.

Both decided that they should go out to eat some breakfast.

Stepping out into the light, it was clear that today was going to be a wonderful day, the sun was shining, and the breeze was soothing.

Walking down the street, Michiru found a cafe, she was excited to eat there, and Shirou was happy that she was excited.

Entering the cafe, Shirou could smell the sweets of the baked goods, and the smell of the bitter sweet coffee.

Moving up to the barista, Shirou ordered an iced black coffee, and a bagel, while Michiru had decided to order some green tea, she eyed a blueberry muffin, but was indecisive when it came to what sweets to order.

Shirou noticed this and ordered it for her, with Michiru looking like she had been caught red handed.

After eating, they both decided to go for a walk in the park, on their way, Michiru wondered about Izuku, she knew Shirou was right, their son was one of the strongest people they knew.

So she had nothing to worry about, well she hoped at least.

Arriving at the park, they were at the wooded trail section, since it was around lunchtime, most people were out getting lunch, their jobs however were different, this led them to having the entire trail to themselves.

The wind was blowing softly, the trees swaying gently in the wind, the shade from the trees brought some nice shade. It would've been great, that is if the scar on Shirous neck wasn't emitting a low hum.

He froze in his tracks once he realised that his neck was humming without his consent. Michiru turned around when she noticed that her boyfriend wasn't walking along side her.

Turning around she saw Shirou was locked up and standing so still that he could have been mistaken as a statue, except his entire body was vibrating.

It was when he started to tremble violently that Michiru ran to help him, even though she had no idea what was happening, the thought that Shirou was in pain scared her.

"Shirou, what's wrong, what's happening?!" She asked frantically.

"I don't k-know." Shirou said, his jaw, trembling.

Hundreds of thoughts ran through Michirus head like a stampede, but the only one that stick was to take him to the Medi-Cen to find out what's happening to her Shirou.

She strained to pick him up with her natural strength, shifting her legs into cheeta legs so that she could run faster to the medical Center.

People shouted when they were nearly trampled by a very upset tanuki that looked to be in the verge of tears with a wolf in her arms. Then they realised they were the 'Beast Duo', formerly 'Beast Trio'.

Shirou looked up while in Michirus arms.

'The sky's so blue, was it always that colorful?'

He looked a little down to see her face, for some reason he felt like really committing her face into his memory, he didn't know what was happening, the shaking was making him a little delusional, and so he thought.

'If I'm going to die, I want the last thing I see to be your face'

She quickly arrived to the Medi-Cen, running in and alerting the staff.

They were well accustomed to the two heroes, they heeled make the city a better place, and so it was with great haste they they took him and got him into a room as quickly as possible.

They took him into the emergency wing, with Michiru in hot pursuit.

After they got him into a room, they removed his coat and shirt, asking with his collar.

While the sight of a shirtless Shirou would've made her blush, she was far too worried about him to be thinking about that at a time like this.

She called the mayor to see if she could come and check on him to see if she could figure out what was wrong.

The mayor of course hurried over after postponing a few things.

Time Skip- brought to you by my failing grades

Shirou was unconscious and laying in the hospital bed.

Michiru was sitting right next to him in a chair with her hand holding his hand tightly, almost as if she let go, Shirou would fall.

It was at this time that Rose secreted the room with a clipboard in hey hand, reading it and re-reading almost religiously.

"Well Michiru, this is something I thought I would never live to see."

"What, what is it, is something wrong, what's happening to Shirou, is he going to be okay, is he-"

"Ms.Kagemori, calm down, there's nothing wrong with him, there's change, but he's not going to die anytime soon."

Michiru just sat, waiting for an explanation.

"I've rechecked and compared his statistics from when we first checked his B.N.A, he's changed, at the beginning, his cells were in a constant renewal state, continuously going back to his normal age. Now, they are aging again, the cells are aging. He's living again." Rose said in a dead serious tone.

"..."

"..."

"WHAT!?!"

'It's dark in here, even with my night vision, I still can't see anything, or smell anything, no wait, there's...actually nothing?'

The scene changed, he started to see a field of grass, so he just started walking.

Upon walking, he realised he was probably unconscious and in his head.

Just then, he started to see an old town of sorts, with old stone walls, the tops of small houses could be seen above the wall.

Shirous eyes widened and he nearly fell to his knees.

'T-this is... Nirvasil...'

Breaking out of his stupor, he began to run to the city, even with his speed, he seemed to almost be walking.

He was so close, so close in fact, he could hear the voices of the Beastmen that were living there, the casual chat between friends, the trading between two of wares, and every syllable seemed to being another tear to Shirous eyes.

Running straight through the open gates of Nirvasil, Shirou saw nothing, the town was empty, and the voices of the people were nowhere to be heard.

He was alone.

Again...

The scene changed, the town was gone, the only thing that remained was a crater, and in the crater, lie the broken and bloody bodies of his fellow beastman.

This time, he really fell to his knees and clawed at the ground, tears falling freely onto the bloodied soil.

He felt a cold sensation on his shoulder, looking to his right, he could see a light blue hand.

Following the hand up, he could see it was one of the townsfolk.

His mouth moved, and a moment later, Shirou could hear what he said.

"Stand" It spoke with such a strong conviction that Shirou felt his body rise.

Looking around, he noticed more and more ghost people were appearing, they all stood were their body was.

"You have done enough"

"What...what are you talking about"

"Your life has been filled with the single drive that was revenge and your own self hatred" All the ghosts spoke at the same time, slightly throwing Shirou for a loop.

"So what is this?" Shirou asked the closest spirit.

"Your freedom, you have stopped the ascendant of the pure-blood, lived your entire life fighting for beastmen, and suffering along the way. You are hereby sentenced to enjoy the rest of your life, and to live how you wish. You will get used to the feeling of aging once again."

Now that shocked Shirou to his very core.

Before he could say anything, everything started to get blurry, before everything was plunged in a blinding white light, he heard the spirits say one last thing.

"Thank you for everything"

Then, darkness.

But this time he could smell, and hear. The first think he smelled was a beautifully delicious scent coming from his right, it smelled like flowers and...tears?

The next thing he noticed was the impossibly annoying beeping of the machine that he was hooked to.

"Grrr, can shomeone pleash shut de beeping up?" He slurred.

"Shirou!" Michiru gasped, but upon seeing him wince in pain, she realised that his hearing was prabably a little sensitive right now.

"Sorry Shi." She whispered before calling in the doctors.

A doctor stepped into the room asking with an assistant. The doctor walked up to Shirou while the assistant checked the heart rate and blood pressure, just normal doctor shit.

"So, as it turns out, you're perfectly fine, and with no injuries, your free to go home."

Michiru sighed in relief. She waited for Shirou to get up and held her hand out to help him balance, he was unconscious a few minutes ago after all.

Leaving the hospital, they were both happy, Michiru knew he was aging, but she was waiting to tell him the news, she just didn't realise that Shirou already knew, he just temporarily forgot in the process.

Once they got back to their home at the Beast co-op, Shirou stood in the middle of his office, and a look of realizationn flashed in his eyes.

"I'm aging!" He shouted.

Michiru was surprised, how did he know, they didn't tell him yet, nonetheless, she was happy.

"Yeah, the mayor came and figured it out." She said walking over to him to pull him into a tight hug.

"This means, we can actually grow old together?" Shirou asked, completely in awe.

Michiru just laughed a little and looked up with a teary smile.

"Yeah."

They stared into each others eyes, not saying a word. Shirous eyes started to tear up a little with a few falling, same as Michiru. He slowly smiled a teary smile, a genuinely happy smile.

He put his hands on both sides of Michirus head and pulled her into a passionate kiss, while she put her arms around his fluffy neck.

They kissed, then they laughed, they were so happy, Shirou can finally live without the great of out living everyone that he loved.

It was as if the weight of the world was lifted off his shoulders, everything seemed a little better, the world, a little more colorful, smells, a little more vibrant, his dull silver fur, seemed to shine, his eyes, they practically glowed, even his pale skin changed to a more healthy color.

'I'm really alive'

______________________________________

"Hey, do you ever wonder what happened to him?" A slim hero in green said to her husband.

The husband was another hero, they both rested on top of a building after just finishing a mission.

"Hmm, let me think about it...no. He was just a mistake, a failure, and a complete weakling. He wasn't even good enough to breath the air we did." , the hero said who wore a slightly burned cape, a dark red hero suit, and a cigarette between his lips.

"Okay, that's a little harsh, but yeah, he was weak, he would never be able to carry the Midorya name." The woman with flowing dark green hair said.

"Well, at least our new child has potential." He said.

"That she does Hisashi."

Just then, Hisashi's phone vibrated, pulling it from one of his suits pockets, he checked the notification.

"Oh, it's the daycare, they say she's coughing a lot, it's probably her quirk." The father said.

"Well, we should probably take her home early anyway, just to be safe."

"Well, what's the fastest way to the daycare Inko?"

They then stared to go to the daycare. Nearing the establishment, they landed on a building that they could safely change into their civilian clothes.

Inko wore a simple white shirt with black leggings, while Hisashi wore a red shirt with black wash jeans.

Stepping into the daycare,  they went to look for the room that held their two year old, while they could have stayed at home with the child, they were more focused on hero work.

A caretaker with a set of small white  wings was waiting patiently for the parents of the child to arrive, she was always a little uneasy about the two hero's, they acted like the child was just an object.

(A/N- the caretaker knows their hero's because of their names, and because she had ran a background check on the two)

She didn't even know what happened to their first child, all that the report says is that there was an accident, but the fact that they didn't even hold a funeral worried her greatly.

"Hey Sam, what's up?" Hisashi asked the woman.

"Sir, for the sixty fifth time, it's Samantha, not Sam." She said with irritation clear in her voice.

Was she trans? Yes.

Did she change her name from Sam to Samantha? Yes.

Did she appreciate this guy constantly calling her Sam to mess with her just because he had learned it from one of the other staff? No, no she did not.

"Sir, your child is coughing smoke, so this is probably wor quirk related, I recommend taking her home in an isolated environment to help hey control it, otherwise, she could very easily injure herself and others." She said seriously.

"Yeah yeah, well so that, anyway well be on our way." Hisashi said as if he didn't care.

Because he mostly didn't.

Inko grabbed Izumi and together, they left the daycare to go home.

The two year old was about to be three, but the assaults didn't see an upcoming birthday, what they saw was one less year before they can start training her for her hero career.

But things get worse before they get better.

Things get better.

Right?

Anyways, Christmas break is here so maybe I can make a couple chapters.

I'm changing the slow age thing again...yes Again, Izuku will age like normal, it's just less noticeable.

Anyways, the squirrels in my ceiling are having a party and I was invited.

I really hope their squirrels and not rats.
