Ruby though that she could even remotely make it through the night,but it was all just wishful thinking

The grimm creatures managed to pierce a hole through the cave she was in and she kept on shooting them repeatedly and instantly changing her ammo as quick as possible which let them get a little closer

However she was ready,she knew her ammo would run out and she would end up defenseless but she kept on fighting

She counted around a hundred and twenty grimms now

And as she thought she could do it

She ran out of ammo

Then a Beowulf ran straight to her and was about to bite her head off

"This is how it ends for me huh?"she asked herself completely exhausted

But then it stopped as there was a tendril which came out of its mouth

The tip of the tendril then extended and covered the entirety of the grimm creature as it got smaller and smaller and she could see what saved her,or WHO saved her

The creature was small and had giant horns and many tentacles came out of it's back which were thrashing around uncontrollably and beside it was a small bat like creature which was red

The tentacles then started to retract as the figure got bigger and the horns dissapeared

Red smoke appeared from the red bat as they then revealed

"YOU TWO!!!"

It was Y/n and grimm

"What?got a problem being saved?"he asked

"WHERE WERE YOU?!THE VILLAGE NEEDED YOUR HELP!!!WHAT WERE YOU DOING?!"she asked as she noticed he had his backpack on and a magazine was poking out of it

He caught on that and put it back in

"I took care of the boss,which made the smaller ones run away"he said

"Do you honestly think I'm gonna believe this?!?!"she asked still furious

"Ask them yourself"he said gesturing to the outside

Rwby then looked at noticed a giant shell of a grimm and all the grimm were staring at it,there were even some which were right next to the cave and didn't seem to care about it

"See?they're scared"he said as all the grimm then turned to us and were going to run away

"As if I will let this happen"he said as he grabbed grimm and walked out of the cave but he then stopped

"I'll take care of the majority,you see if there are any left in the village he said as his jacket turned into wings and he started flying

Ruby was at a loss of words

'So that's why he left,it's not that he didn't care,he was looking for their nest to kill the leader of the pack and then get rid of the others'she said as she then grabbed her scythe and jumped down to see that there were grimm creatures alive still around the village panicking

"Hiyyaahh!!"she shouted as she attacked them from below and could now have a foothold to step on and from far away she could hear the cries of pain of the grimms that ran away and a black whirlpool appeared out of nowhere

She didn't care as she knew HE had it under control and just proceeded with her extermination

The next day,the academy was notified of their success and sent a helicopter their way to pick them up and said helicopter was descending to the ground where people were praising ruby and blessing her as Y/n got on the vehicle before it even landed and waited for ruby to get in

"We cannot thank you enough for your help "said the elder

"If you want to thank someone thank the goddess for letting us hear your message"

"But of course young huntress"said the elder as they bid them goodbye

The helicopter started flying up as ruby looked at Y/n one more time

'Maybe

He's not as bad as the rumors say,but I feel like I forgot something'she thought to herself

Shadow who sent the helicopter their way was looking at a screen showing Y/n saving ruby in battle

She then smiled

"Just you Wait Y/n,when you come back,I'll make sure you'll become my dog"she said
