Today is a special day,I was chosen to go on a quest of rank B,apparently there was a nest of grimms that was localized near a village and they need help to clear it

So I was in ryuko's house preparing my backpack for the travel,she cane to check what I was going to be taking with me

"Let's see what you have here"she said as she opened my backpack

She pulled out a box of reese's puffs as she looked at me

"Seriously?"

"What?that's all i need"i said

She then pulled out a bag of candies a pack of ham,a pillow

"How can you fit so many things in here?"she asked as she was now pulling out a magazine I knew all too well

I quickly took it away

"Okay we can stop at that"i said as I took back all my stuff and put them back in my backpack as I also put in the food for grimm

"So you're going with someone you never met right?"asked ryuko

"Yeah,I won't be talking to them,all I'll do is kill the grimms and come back here to claim the reward"i said as I walked away with ryuko behind me and as soon as we stepped outside I was greeted by the most embarrassing sight ever

There was banner in big letters with these words in it

Then all the children came to hug me including hollow who was crying as well

"Geez,it's just a mission nothing to special,and it's B rank as well"i said

Then sarah approached me

"Y/n why didn't you take a bag with you?"she asked me

"Why should I?"I asked

"So I can hide inside just like you did"she said

"HOW THE HELL CAN YOU KEEP A STRAIGHT FACE WHILE SAYING THIS?!?!"I shouted

"But still,B rank for a kid it's too much,I knew these leaders were cruel as all hell"

"REMIND ME WHO BEAT YOU AGAIN?!"I shouted in frustration

I had enough of it and walked to the boarding area were there was a helicopter ready to take us to the village in question

There I found a girl with a long red cape and a black hair which was red tipped in the end

And next to her was another girl with yellow hair and purple eyes and two gauntlets and two other gauntlets but not on her hands

And in front of them was aella explaining things to the red girl as she saw me approaching and glared at me

"Well,it's good to see that I was missed"i said

"Listen,if anything happens to this girl then it's on your head"she said

The other girls cracked her knuckles signaling she would do the same

Grimm hissed at them as I just smiled sarcastically

"This makes me excited to see what you have in store for me"i said as I got on the helicopter and I was waiting for the other girl to follow as I sat on the edge of the supposed door

She hugged both aella and the blonde who gave her a warm smile before she left and got on the helicopter as the door started closing but I stopped them

"Kid we need to close the doors for your safety!"shouted the pilot

"Mind your own business"i shouted back as i left the door open

Ruby scooted further from the dear to herself

"Oh my goddess"she prayed as they went on their way to the village

After landing and arriving at the village which was completely wiped out but there were still people there they were greeted by the people there

"Are you the student from the Yggdrasil academy?"asked an old man

"Yes sir,we heard your request and came as quickly as possible"said ruby

"Thank our goddess!!!she heard our call!!"said the old man as they all shouted in happiness

"Calm down we're just students not some miracle,so What's the buzz?"he asked

"Right!,the grimms are completely out of control!they are breeding at an alarming rate and if not for our bunker we would all be dead by now"said the elder

"Don't worry sir,now that we're here you're going to be safe,right?"she turned to Y/n

He didn't look like he cared at all

"I wonder what we have for dinner"he said

"We have bigger problems here!!"she shouted

"The bigger problem is this kid if I don't give him food"he said gesturing to grimm

Ruby was holding back on herself

'Calm down,remember what miss aella taught you,no matter how much he taunts you you must never succumb to his annoyance'she thought to herself

She then turned to the villagers with a smiling face

"Don't worry,I will take care of everything since some people aren't looking like they're going to do something!"she shouted as she noticed going into the forest,he felt that she was looking at him as he turned around

"What?I'm going to take a piss"he said

'This is going to be a hard quest'she thought to herself as she went to comfort the panicking villagers

Ruby was outside while the people of the town closed the gate and was sending a text to her sister yang

"Hey sis I arrived,right from the beginning the kid was rude,didn't seem to care about the health of the villagers and ditched us to somewhere"she said to herself as I sent her the message

She then looked at the full moon as she got up and grabbed her rifle/scythe

"And now,I wait for the grimms to appear"she said as waited there as she knew that tonight was going to be a fateful day

Hey I'm sorry this was a short chapter but I wanted to say that until I can balance my time for writing and studying together,there might be days where I won't be uploading starting from sunday,this doesn't mean I won't upload daily anymore,it means that I may change my uploading time from maybe before going to sleep to right in the morning
