I lost balance even though I was sitting

Then the next moment I was right in the center of the arena with the stands full of students and the big chairs for the leaders

But they were all quiet and looking at a particular angle

The other children had one as well and lion cub had just a headband on

While hornet and senkuu didn't play into this

Then I heard coughing which begged for attention

I turned around to see that it was shadow ready to give a speech

One of the rejects"she said before sitting down

I heard some giggling as I just shrugged it off

I then looked at Grimm who was on my shoulder

"Ready?"I asked

"Wait a minute!"I heard a bitchy voice say

I turned to see that it was aella whi was speaking

"What is it?let's get to the fight already!!"I said

"Why are you carrying this baby even during this fight?have you got not shame to bring a baby as a meat shield?"she said

"I can give him to you if you want!"I said

"What?!this is outrageous!fine do what you want!"she said sitting down forcibly

I could finally look at my opponent,it was a boy with red eyes and sharp teeth with a devilish smile

The moment they gave the GO shinra attacked with a fire attack from his feet

I dodged without any problem and kicked him away

He readjusted himself from the impact and slid to the ground

"You got a lot stronger since last time"he said

"Why?did you think I was going to be relaxing?"i said

He then launched another attack while spinning his feet creating a fire whirlpool

I could take it but i remembered Grimm

I covered him and was then kicked by shinra who used it just so I would cover Grimm

I was sent back a few feet back as i then looked at Grimm

"Listen up,I'll need both of my arms for this so you know where to hide"i said

He nodded as he hid in the hood of my jacket

Shinra then fired multiple blasts of fire

"I have no choice but to use them"i said as I joined my hands together and fired the vengeful spirit

I launched multiple ones which followed him and even though he dodged some of them he got hit by others

When he was struck by them I could feel my SOUL energy replenishing

He then got up slowly

"What's that?I feel like part of my soul was stolen!"he said

"That's soul energy for you"i said

"That's a terrifying ability,but no matter what you do I'll be the one winning today"he said

"Keep dreaming,I haven't done nothing yet"i said

"Oh yeah?bring it on"he said as fire started to come out of his feet

I just stood there and looked at Grimm and felt something

Something's grumbling

"Grii~"Grimm was hungry

'OH SHIT!!I DON'T WANT TO GET TOASTED!'

So I looked back at shinra and fired a weak shade soul at him just enough for him to block it

Just as I expected he kicked it out of the way but he still touched the void inside so just having this will be enough

When you gaze into the abyss,the abyss will gaze back at you

I looked at him right in his eyes and so the void entered into action and stopped his heart enough for him to pass out but not die

He fell unconscious on the ground

The crowd was in silence hollow included

No one knew what just happened

"HEY REFEREE HURRY UP!!I GOT A BABY TO FEED!!"shouted Y/n

"Oh right!and the winner is

Y/N FROM THE REJECT CLASS!"announcex the referee

All you could hear was hollow in the distance without knowing why

But I didn't care and ran straight to the canteen

Zato watched the entire fight and was stunned to see how easily he defeated shinra a respectable member of the demon faction

"I got to talk to this kid"he said before running out of the arena and was about to meet him outside the canteen since he said he wanted to feed the baby

After arriving there he hid himself behind a tree

'Gotta look cool'he thought to himself

And so he waited

Leonidas was someone he trusted so he had no problems with him

"I was waiting for the kid since he's my next opponent so I can talk to him"

"Oh about that!he went the other way,said something about not finding the right brand"said leonidas

Zato fell on the floor

"I can't tell you how humiliated I am right now"said Sato

"There's still tomorrow right?besides,he has many more matches coming his way because the leaders want to take as much info as possible"said leonidas

"Okay thanks you can go now"said Sato feeling someone behind him

After he left zato turned back to face the leader of his faction

We may have seen a little but we still gained a lot of DATA from this fight and your fight is one week away just before the final exams

She then left as she walked past a tree

"As if I'd use such underhanded tactics"he said before leaving

"If I'm going to defeat him then I'll do it by my own strength even if I have to use the black dragon emperor"he said as he left
