After the reveal of the fight between hornet and her opponent me and our siblings couldn't help but feel worried for her

She hasn't fought in a while and she isn't the strongest among them too

Zato tried to convince her to let him go instead but she refused

"I need to prove my place in this place,if I don't i won't fulfill my promise to you Y/n"she said to me as she entered the arena as she was face to face with a boy with black hair and blue eyes as he had a book in his hand

"I see you're my opponent"he said smiling

"Yes"

"Well I hope that delinquent friend of yours won't be mad if I beat you"he said

"You should worry about defeating me first"said hornet preparing her needle

"Well then"he said as he opened his book

"Come forth,bringer of justice to these lands and give me your power

Lawbringer!!!"he chanted before he was covered in smoke and as it dissipated he was wearing an old looking armor with a large halberd

'He's going with a weak start to see at what level of strength I stand at,I'll have to play along and only show the bare minimum of my strength'she thought as they then both attacked each other

Jeremiah went with an estoc attack but hornet used her silk to interfere with its trajectory which made him lose balance and she used that opportunity to kick him breaking his armor in the process as he was pushed back

"You're not bad"he remarked as he got up as if he wasn't harmed at all

"But it doesn't seem like you're going to show me all you got so I have to make it quick"he said as he started to shine

Hornet shielded her eyes to protect them from the blinding light

When she looked back at him she saw that he had a fiery armor on him and a coiled sword

"So I won't be cautious anymore he said as he dissapeared from her sight

And hornet out of pure instinct stepped out of the way and jumped as he slashed the air she left behind

She then used her needle and silk to jump to the other side of the arena where she recollected her thoughts

'There has to be a way for me to fight him,if I don't defeat him I would just be a dead weight to all my classmates'she thought to herself as Jeremiah then held up his hand and out came a lightning spear

He threw then threw it in the air as it broke down into several smaller spears which all came crashing down onto the ground,hornet tried to dodge them all but she was pierced by one in her ankle which caused an electric shock to run through her body

"AAAAHHHH!!!"she shouted in agony

"Hornet!!"shouted Y/n

Jeremiah then used that moment to quickly go for a stab but at the very last second she slid through the ground and used her silk to sweep Jeremiah off his feet but he used one hand to to catch himself and then drew his sword which lit in fire and created a horizontal slash which hornet managed to escape from by using her silk and sending it to the other side of the arena

But Jeremiah saw this coming and created ice blasts which collided where she was about to land,however she let go of her string of silk and started slide through the floor but the wound in her ankle made her wince in pain as she tripped on the floor

Jeremiah took all of his time to get to her as she then tried one last frontal assault with all of her strength

But Jeremiah just dodged to the side and knocked her out using the handle of his sword

And so she fell flat on the floor

"AND THE WINNER IS JEREMIAH FROM THE CHAOS FACTION!!!"shouted the referee

The entire crowd went on to cheer for him as the rejects were silent as Y/n then jumped to the arena

He went to check before he had a long stare with Jeremiah

He decided to leave as he was holding her up to the nurse

This has been a terrible loss for the rejects

Grimm who was near the temple of the black egg

"And they thought this could actually stop her"he said shaking his head as he then opened his mouth really wide and let out a screech so loud it could make someone's ear bleed and cause internal damage to the brain

The gate with the three dreamers faces on it then shattered as he then hummed in satisfaction as he entered the temple

He started walking casually throughout the giant halls of the temple before he accessed the main room

There he saw it

The bug that killed him and contained his partner

The knight

"Would you look at that,it looks like you are still doing well despite holding off the radiance but that silence of yours almost makes me feel like you're somewhere else"said grimm as he then looked around

'Weird,the gendered child and the pure vessels corpses should still be here'he asked himself before solely focusing again on the night as his hand turned red and he struck him with it and was overtaken by a blinding light

The next moment he was in her presence

"It is good to see you again old friend,or should I say

The radiance"hw said as he was in presence of the moth god herself
