Today was yet another day in our normal lives

I get up in the morning,make my bed,go to the well to get some water and wash my face,I walk back to my house to see mother preparing food for us and for HIM

"Good morning my son,are you ready?today is the day of the week"she said as she had a giant plate with two handles for me and dad to carry

"Yeah I know"i said as I looked at the empty seat that used to belong to my brother

He got a hunter mad which made him chase my brother to the forest and killed him which then made something occur

"Now then everyone it's time for the offering to the shadelord,is the plate ready?"asked father

"Yes it's here"

That's what I don't understand,everyone keeps calling him the shadelord but I still call him by the name I knew him by

Chaaya

For some reason,after he was killed he was chosen by the void to become the shadelord

A being in equal terms of strength with the black witch

The goddess who created this world

And since he's my brother he has the instinct of protecting our village from any threat

Even though he only does so when we offer him food as presents

As we were walking down to the giant crack which inhabits my brother

We noticed a long line of people with fold in their hands as they were all dropping it in the giant hole

Then our turn came and then we all waited for him to come out

Then the ground started shaking,the sky blackened as dark void started to leak from the sky like water on a river

Black tentacles started to rise from the ground as four hands appeared to grab hold on the ground as it rose up from the giant crack

It let out a roar as it got out with four spider like legs and it began walking to the forest w

hich we separated ourselves from using a wall as it began killing everything on sight

This was our guardian

Our continent is much,much weaker than the midgard one but thanks to him we are able to survive

This is terrible!!how can this happen!?!?the higher beings just came out of nowhere and for some reason chaaya wasn't waking up!

How can this happen?!

Everyone was running around as all the higher beings were ravaging our village to wipe it out of existence

A giant pale worm was breaking all of our houses as a white tree was releasing all of its seed like projectiles and all the other higher beings were ravaging our once peaceful village

Then as I was running away I was pierced by a sword and as I looked up a giant moth appeared as then a human sized bat started to eat my insides as I was not dying yet and could feel the pain of it

'Why?why did you forsake us brother?what have we ever done to you?'these were my last dying thoughts as I then abruptly died from being eaten alive
