ORIGINAL CHAPTER

"Lincoln, where are you taking me?" Beth says, smiling as he pulled her along a path in the woods.

He looks at her smiling. "If I tell you, the surprise will be ruined." He tells the red-headed girl. Beth rolls her eyes, though still smiling at him. "It's just a little further."

Beth nods. "You know if everything we've been through leads up to you killing me. Tell me now." Beth tells Lincoln.

He looks at her, stopping, facing her. "I'd never kill you." He says to her. Beth smiles, kissing him lightly.

"So will you tell me where we're going?" Beth asks him.

Lincoln shakes his head. "No." Beth sighs as he pulls her along a path.

"Wait," Beth says, confusing Lincoln, causing him to turn around and look at her. She smirks lightly before turning him so his back is facing her. She quickly jumps onto his back, laughing lightly as he almost falls forward from the sudden jump on his back from the redhead. She wraps her legs around his waist and her arms on his shoulders. "okay, we can go now." She says. He smiles and lightly laughs at her before continuing his walk.

"Oh my god," Beth mutters as she stares ahead in awe, her eyes slightly widened as she looked at the scene in front of her. She slowly got off Lincoln's back. "It's so beautiful." She mutters as she looked around.

Lincoln smiles at her, knowing she loved it. He was happy she loved it. He's wanted to show her this place for months now but they never had the time, now they did and he finally got to show it to her.

"It's so beautiful." She says to him, smiling at him. Her eyes still filled with awe. The waterfall looked like a blue satin threading with silver as the waves at the bottom were pounding against the rocks. The flowers surrounding were blowing lightly in the wind. Even as it was a colder month, everything was beautiful and still vibrant as ever. A serenity-pool was at the bottom of it, rocks along the water banks. The waterfall flowed smoothly down the mountain. Lincoln smiles at her. "How'd you find this place?" She asks him.

He pulls her closer to the water bank and the two sat down, Beth still smiling. "I found it a few years ago. I was going to visit Luna by the sea and found it by taking the wrong way." He tells her. "I spent a few days here before I left back to my village."

"I wish I grew up on Earth. It would make a lot of more things less complicated." Beth says to him. "Do you think we would have met, had I grown up on Earth?"

Lincoln smiles at her lightly. "I have no doubt that we would have never had met. We would have, somehow." He answers her.

She smiles at him, kissing him lightly. "Ai hod in yu Lincoln Kom Trikru."

"Ai hod in yu Beth Kom Skaikru," Lincoln says to her, kissing her again.

She pulls away lightly, whispering in his ear. "You want to go swimming?"

"You don't know how to." He says to her as she stands, taking off her jacket and shirt.

"Then you can teach me." She says, smirking before pulling off her pants, leaving her just in her underwear and bra. She turns around and walks over to the bank, looking at the water. It was like a four-five foot drop to the water. She looks back at him before speaking. "You coming or not?" She smirks the jumps into the water.

Lincoln shakes his head, smiling before standing up and taking off his shirt and pants before following the redhead into the water. Beth's laugh echoes lightly as he jumped into the water, landing close to her, going under. Beth looks around for him as something grabs her legs, lifting her up. Beth laughs as Lincoln resurfaces. She wraps her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist. "Yu laik meizen." He mutters to her. She smiles, kissing him.

"Ai laik raun hod in kom Yu." She mutters to the man. He smiles at the redhead, kissing her. His hands trail up her back, up to the clips of her bra. He stops, looking at her. She nods lightly before he unclips it and throws it to the water bank. She pulls him closer, kissing him again. "Ai laik raun hod in kom Yu seintaim." He mutters to her, kissing her again.

"Don't let me drown!" Beth yells at the man, who was smiling at her.

"I'm not gonna let you drown!" Lincoln exclaims to the redhead, laughing lightly.

She looks over at him anxiously. "Stop laughing at me!" She says to him.

"Just move your arms like I showed you." He says to her. She sighs but does what he says. "Now, move your legs as well like I showed you." He adds. She nods. "C'mon, kick your feet like I did." She takes a deep breath, doing what he said. "There you go. Now swim towards me." He tells her to do.

Beth shakes her head. "Nope. I can't." She tells him.

Lincoln gives the girl a look. "You can fight a bunch of Mountain Men and Grounders to the death, but you won't swim less than 10 feet to me?" He asks her.

She sticks her tongue out at him. "I'm better with a sword than with water! We never swam up on the Ark! There was nowhere to swim." She tells him.

Lincoln laughs. She sends him a quick glare before he speaks. "C'mon Beth. I'm not gonna let you drown." He tells her. Beth nods before moving her arms and legs, slowly swimming to him. "You can go a little faster if you want." He says to her. She nods slightly before swimming a bit quicker. "There you go!" He says, smiling.

Beth smiles as she swims over to Lincoln. She laughs lightly as he picks her up, happily. "I did it!" She exclaims, excitedly as she threw her arms around his neck. He smiles at her, kissing her lightly. Beth squeals as another splash of water hits her, and one again right after. She hears Octavia's laughter as she looks over. She splashed Octavia. "You scared the hell out of me! Both of you!" Beth exclaims as Kai resurfaces the water. The four laugh lightly. "I'm so happy I got my bra and underwear back on before they got here." Beth mutters to Lincoln, who laughs lightly. Beth gasps as Octavia splashes her with the water. She playfully glares at her best friend before splashing her back. "Did you bring some of Monty's moonshine?" Beth asks the girl as the two boys began talking, most likely about the girls.

Octavia nods. "It's with all our stuff." She replies.

"Thank gosh. I need some tonight." Beth says to the girl, who laughs lightly. She looks over at the waterfall. "You wanna go under it?" She asks the brunette, smiling, pointing to the waterfall.

Octavia smirks. "Hell yeah." She says and the two girls swim over in front of it. "How'd you learn to swim?" Octavia asks the redhead.

"Lincoln," Beth replies, looking up the waterfall then back to the brunette. "How'd you learn?"

Octavia looks over to the guys. "Kai taught me a few weeks ago." She replies, looking at the waterfall, noticing a small ledge, about six feet up. "You wanna jump under the waterfall?" Octavia asks her. Beth smirks, nodding.

The two girls climb for a few minutes to get to the top of the ledge. "Beth?!" Beth hears Lincoln call her. She looks down seeing the two men near the waterfall.

Beth waves before looking at the brunette standing right next to her. She holds out her right hand, "Together?" She asks.

Octavia nods. "Together," Octavia says as grabs Beth's hand with her left. The two girls both take deep breaths before jumping into the waterfall, both screaming happily as they jumped.

The splash of the two soaks them and the boys who were right near them. Beth and Octavia resurface at the same time, almost, both laughing and smiling, causing the boys to laugh and smile as well. Happy to be there. Just the four of them.

They were all now sitting around a small fire. It was dark, almost around midnight as they sat there talking. They had gotten dressed again and had two blankets around the two couple's as they talked about the randomized things.

"No. You got caught for stealing." Octavia says to Beth, laughing lightly. "You were not high."

Beth laughs. "I was high on sadness when I got caught. And a few of Monty's plants. But they didn't know that."

"You were the one they got caught for?" Kai asks the redhead, who quickly shakes her head.

"No, they got caught about 6 months after me, so that's all their faults. Plus, I didn't exactly steal it from them." Beth says to them.

Octavia gives the girl a confused look. "What? Who'd you steal it from then?"

"Miller. He stole it from them and then I stole it from him. I was gonna return it to Monty but figured 'why not'." Beth explains to the group. Octavia laughs at the redhead. "What about you Kai? Any fun adventure stories?" She asks the man.

Kai laughs lightly. "Not many, but there was this one time I got in trouble with Indra when I was 8 for trying to leave camp. I thought she was gonna kill me with her sword." The three others laugh lightly.

"I remember that," Lincoln tells him. "What were you leaving for?"

"It was right after my sister left for Polis with my parents. And I wanted to follow them. Indra caught me right at the entrance, threatened to tell my parents, with the sword out, before sending me home." Kai says to the group.

Beth laughs. "What'd your parents say?"

"She never told them. Neither did I. There was no way I was gonna get in trouble if Indra didn't tell them." Kai says. Lincoln laughs.

Beth looks around the woods surrounding them. "It's beautiful here." She says. "Do we have to go back tomorrow?" She asks the group.

"I wish we didn't," Octavia says.

"We'll come here again," Kai says to the two girls. Octavia nods, yawning. "It's getting late. We'll see you guys in the morning." He adds. Octavia nods as Kai stands up, helping the brunette girl up.

"If you need us, we'll be in the cave over there," Octavia says, pointing to a cave across the meadow. "Don't need us," Octavia says, the small smirk on her face as she grabs their blanket and walks off with Kai.

Beth laughs lightly at the couple before looking at Lincoln. "So, what's to do now?" She asks a small smile placed on her face, as she took another sip of moonshine, something she definitely didn't need any more of.

Lincoln smiles at her before kissing her. "What do you want to do?" He asks her.

"Go swimming?" She says to him.

"We just got out of the water. Plus it'll be cold, you could get sick and you're drunk." He says to her.

Beth sight and rolls her eyes, standing up as she spoke. "I'm not drunk, I'm slightly buzzed, there's a difference. I guess I'll have to go into the cold water by myself." She says, taking off her shirt and throwing it at him. Lincoln smiles shaking his head as she takes off her pants. "Nothing to warm me but the air." She takes off her bra, throwing it at his head, he laughs and puts it down next to her shirt. "You can stay up here. Dry. With all my clothes. By yourself." She says and takes off the last piece of clothing she had on, throwing it to her other clothes. "Bye." She says before jumping into the water. She soon resurfaces, looking back up to the water bank. "Seriously gonna leave out in the freezing water with no clothes on? By myself?" She asks him. "No fun for you then." She says, smirking and laughing lightly.

Lincoln sighs, shaking his head before getting up and undressing. He rushes and jumps in, landing near her. Beth laughs as he resurfaces right next to her, grabbing her waist. "You decide to come and have fun?" She asks him. He nods and she smiles before kissing him and pulling him close to her, wrapping her arms around him. He kisses her back, holding her in his arms as she wraps her legs around his waist. "I love you."

"I love you."

Beth and Lincoln laid down on his jacket, the blanket covering the two as the looked up at the skies. The two were both fully clothed again as they laid there, talking. "Maybe one day you'll be able to see Earth from Space."

"As long as I get to see it with you." He says to her. She smiles at him.

"Hopefully I will be there." She says to him.

He kisses her forehead. "You will be." He says to the red-haired girl. She kisses his cheek before laying her head back on his chest.

"You ever wonder what it would be like?" She asks him.

He gives her a confused look. "What would be like?"

"If I grew up here and you, up there?" She asks him.

"No, I never wondered that. But I don't think much would be different." Lincoln says.

Beth smiles at him before looking back at the sky. "Can you make me a promise?" Beth asks him. He looks at her confused but nods. "Can you promise to never leave me? Because I don't know what I'd ever do if I lost you." She says to him.

He kisses her forehead. "I'm not going anywhere." He tells her. "You don't have to worry about that." He says.

Beth nods, smiling at him. After about 5 minutes of quietness, Beth asks, "Do you ever wonder what it would be like to have kids?"

Lincoln nods. "Yeah." He replies. "Do you want kids?"

Beth nods, smiling lightly. "Yeah. I want a little girl that ends up to be a daddy's girl and then I want a boy, who would take after me more." Beth says. "Do you want kids?" She asks him.

"Yes. I want 2 or 3. Never thought of the order though." He says to her.

"Do you want kids with me one day?" Beth mutters, almost cursing herself out in her head.

"Yes," Lincoln says to her, making her smile. "I want kids with you. But not now. It's early, and your father would murder me." Beth laughs lightly. "But I do want kids with you, when we're older and when it's less dangerous here."

"Maybe we could leave one day." Beth wonders out loud, not even realizing the words left her mouth until she was done speaking.

Lincoln nods, kissing the redheads forehead. "Maybe one day. We could go to the sea like we were going to before. You and Luna would get along well."

"I can't wait to meet her one day," Beth says, yawning quietly.

Lincoln gives the girl a small smile, kissing her head once again. "Get some sleep, it's late." Beth nods, snuggling in closer to him if it were even possible. "Ai laik raun hod in kom Yu."

Beth smiles. "Ai laik raun hod in kom Yu." She says back before closing her eyes, wishing for the night to never end.

This was a small, cute chapter. I wanted to show you guys a cute, happy Beth. Beth deserves some happiness. This was also durning the 3/4 months between season 2 and season 3. I could have made this chapter longer but I'm sick and I really haven't felt good lately. What do you guys think? I feel like it's crappy. Idk I've written over the past three days where the only sleep I have gotten was like 3 hours a night, so I'm kinda sleep deprived rn. Please, please comment. I will also be posting the next chapter tonight as well. Anyways what did you guys think? We saw a little bit if Kai and Octavia with Lincoln and Beth, not much though. I'll do a few more flashbacks throughout this season/book but there won't be to many more in season 4. But season 5 there maybe some. I have most stuff planned throughout the end of s4-s5 so I can't wait to start writing it. Anyways guys, please, please comment! I'd truly appreciate it. Thanks for reading. Bye.
