Chapter 2.
WANHEDA PART 2.
Beth's POV
I woke up next to Lincoln as he was looking at me, more like staring. I smile at him. "Staring isn't nice."
He smiles. "You're beautiful." He whispers to me. I lean over and kiss him lightly.
"Fighter approaching!" We hear yelled from outside. Lincoln and I pull away, sharing a look before getting up.
"Where?" Another yells.
"Outside pole twenty!" The first guy yells as Lincoln and I walk to Octavia and Kai.
"The kill order." I mutter, seeing the other grounder.
"We have to get you both inside the wall." Octavia tells them.
Lincoln hands me the knife. He looks back to the grounder. notices Nyko wobbling on a horse.]
"Nyko."Lincoln says, walking forward.
"Lincoln, be careful." I say to him, following as Kai rushes to Nyko and Lincoln.
"Hey, woah, woah, woah, woah, woah, woah, woah, woah." Lincoln says as he helps Nyko stay upright, making sure he doesn't fall.
"Hold your fire!" Octavia tells the guards.
Lincoln holds Nyko on the horse while Kai holds the horse.
"I got you. Come on." Lincoln says to him.
"Abby. I need Abby." Nyko says.
"We'll take you to her." I say to him.
"Chon dula dison? Nyko, who did this to you?" Lincoln asks him.
"Azgeda." Nyko answers. Octavia and I share a look.
----
"Abby, Abby. It's Nyko." I exclaim as we get into the med-station.
"He said it was Azgeda. The Ice Nation." Lincoln tells her.
"Where?" Abby asks us. I shake my head.
"We don't know." Lincoln says to her.
"His pulse is weak, he's burning up." Jackson says, standing next to Nyko.
"Clotting has stopped the flow but he's lost too much blood." Abby says to us.
"I'll type him. RH null." Jackson says.
"What's wrong? We're universal donors. Here, take mine." Octavia says to them.
"No, you can't. RH null can only take RH null." Abby says to her.
Lincoln wordlessly sticks out his arm. I look at him.
"Well, I don't understand. Can you save him or not?" I ask them.
"Not here." Jackson answers.
"What do you mean not here? Where then?" I ask.
"Jackson." Abby says, giving him a look.
"Wait, what's he talking about?" Lincoln asks.
"I'm talking about Mt. Weather." Jackson says. "The medical facility in that mountain is state of the art. They relied on blood to survive, it's still all there." Jackson tells us. I sigh.
"You want me to bring a grounder into Mt. Weather for a transfusion?" Abby asks him. "They killed thousands of people for that blood, Jackson."
"We can't just let him die, Abby, we're doctors." Jackson says to her.
"I am not just a doctor." Abby says to him.
"Maybe you should be." Jackson says to her. He's not wrong.
"Lincoln, you said to me yesterday that even our supply runs were putting us at risk, they were jeopardizing our peace." Abby says. "How would you advise me now?"
"Lincoln." I say, looking at him. It's his call.
"He's my friend. Save him." Lincoln says.
"Get him ready for transport." Abby tells Jackson. She looks at Lincoln. "I hope you're ready to face your feelings."
-----
Mount Weather
Abby, Jackson, Lincoln, Jasper, Octavia, Nyko and I have all made it to Mt. Weather and have reached the floor we need to be on, in the elevator. As we rush Nyko to the infirmary, Jackson inexplicably asks-]
"How you holding up?" To Abby.
"Don't worry about me, just get the blood. I'll prep him." Abby tells
We round the corner. Octavia hangs around, grabbing my hand making me stop, to wisely shout at Jasper.
"Don't do anything stupid." Octavia shouts.
"You mean like coming back here?" Jasper asks us. I sigh.
-----
I walk up to Lincoln. I grab his hand, leading him away from the others. "I have to go meet with Lexa. I'm late."
He nods. "Be careful."
I smile and nod. "I will be."
He leans down and kisses me, I kiss him back. After a few moments I pull away.
"I love you." He whispers to me.
I smile at him. "I love you too."
He kisses my forehead, looking down at me. "I'll see you later." I nod, still smiling.
-----
Polis
"You need to learn more." Lexa tells me as we were sitting down with our swords.
"I've been learning since I became your second. Even before then when Lincoln taught me." I tell her.
"And you will learn more, but right now we need to train." Lexa tells me. I sigh before getting up.
"Fine." I say to her. "Let's train." She nods and smiles at me.
Our two swords clashed against each others as we began.
-----
"You're getting better each day." Lexa tells me as we were inside.
Lex sat in her chair as I stood next to it, waiting for the person Lexa was meeting with, to come in.
"Who are we waiting for?" I ask her.
She looks up at me. "Be patient, you'll find out soon."
I sigh, nodding.
"Wanheda, kom ai don swega kiln." The man says as he pulls in a girl with a hood over her head.
He removes the bag. My eyes widen. "Clarke." I whisper.
"Hello, Clarke." Lexa says to her, getting up, walking forward. "The deal was for you to bring her to me unharmed." Lexa says looking at the man.
"She didn't come easy." He tells her.
"I expect not." Lexa says.
"I've done my part, now do yours'. Lift my banishment." He says.
"I'm told your mother's army marches on Polis." Lexa says to him.
"That has nothing to do with me. Honor our deal." He tells her.
"I'll honor our deal when your Queen honors my coalition." She tells him. "Lock Prince Roan of Azgeda away."
Grounders take Roan away, leaving Lexa, Clarke, Indra, a random dude, and I left in the room.
"Leave us." Lexa says. "You heard me." Indra and I go to leave. "Beth, stay." I nod. Me and the guy stay.
"Sis em au na gyon op." She says. I nod. I'm sorry.
Lexa pulls the gag from Clarke's mouth.
Clarke looks at Beth, confused. "Beth." Clarke whispers. Beth gives her a tiny smile.
"It had to be this way. I had to ensure Wanheda didn't fall into the hands of the Ice Queen. War is brewing, Clarke. I need you." Lexa explains to the blonde girl.
Clarke spits on her. I take a step forward but am stopped by Lexa. Clarke is a sudden screaming mass of rage as the Grounders drag her away. "You bitch. You wanted the Commander of Death, you got her. I'll kill you!" Clarke yells as the two grounders drag her away. "No!" She yells. I sigh.
Lexa wipes the spit from her face and turns to walk out on her balcony.
I stand there, taking a deep breath, sighing.

So this chapter kinda sucked, I'm sorry guys. This chapter felt smaller than some of the other's I've written in this series. I'll probably start editing the first two books soon. Mostly just gonna go back and fix spelling mistakes and stuff like that. What do you guys think about this chapter? Please comment. Thanks for reading. Bye.
-Kelly.
