PERVERSE INSTANTIATION PART TWO

Beth watched as they zaped on the EMP to Abby and she screamed, most likely in pain. Clarke then uses a needle to get out the access chip before tossing the needle gun to Beth. Beth places next to her before asking. "Did it work?"

Clarke doesn't answer, still looking down at her mother, who laid on the 18 year olds lap. "Mom?" Clarke asks, seeing if her mother was okay. Beth watches, unsure of what to do if Abby wasn't Abby. "Can you hear me?" Clarke asks the older woman, sniffling. "I know you're in there. Come back to me." She says to her mother, trying not to cry. "I need you." Beth sighs in relief as Abby begins to slowly open her eyes, exhaling. "Hi." Clarke says to her mother.

Abby looks up at her daughter. "Clarke?" Abby asks.

Clarke smiles, begining to help her mother sit up. "You're okay. You're okay. Here." Clarke helps the woman, along with Beth's help, to sit up. Clarke sobs as Abby looks around the room. "Oh, no. no. no. no. no, no." Clarke says to her mother as she starts to cry, looking at her daughter.

"I'm sorry." Abby says to Clarke.

Clarke shakes her head at her mother. "It's okay."

Abby cries as she says. "I'm so sorry." Clarke shakes her head as Abby puts her head in her hands.

"It's okay." Clarke says to her. Clarke wipes away her own tears before grabbing Abby's head. "Hey, stop!" Clarke says to her mother, wanting her to stop blaming herself. "It wasn't you. It wasn't you." Clare tells her. Clarke grabs her mothers hand. "Mom..." Abby looks up at her. "I need your help." Abby nods her head as the doors bust open, Bellamy, Pike and Murphy rushing in.

Bellamy holds up a gun to Abby as Clarke shields her. "Hey! No! It's okay. I used the EMP. She's back." Clarke says to him as Beth looks over to Pike.

Beth slowly stands up, making sure no one was really paying attention. Beth then quickly makes her way to the man who shot Lincoln, throwing him against the wall, her sword to his neck. "Beth, no!" Bellamy yells. Beth doesn't listen, pressing the sword tighter to the mans neck. "Beth!" Bellamy yells again. Beth rolls her eyes, dropping her sword as she sees a little bit of blood come out from Pike's neck. She then punches Pike in the face, making him fall. She punches him once more before Bellamy tries to grab onto her. Beth grabs her sword, quickly turning to face Bellamy, the sword now pressed against his chest.

"You lay a hand on me I will kill you." Beth says and then quickly pulls out a gun, facing it at Pike. She looks and sees that Pike was about to grab onto her. "Both of you back the fuck up, and I might let you live." She spats out, anger in her eyes. Bellamy puts his hands up, backing away. Beth nods at him before looking at Pike, though still keeping the sword facing Bellamy. "You shot the love of my life. Give me one good reason to let you live." She aims the gun at his arm, shooting it, making sure it only grazed him. "When this is all over, and we somehow stop ALIE. You will not be making a trip back to Arkadia. Alive." Beth says before putting the gun down and her sword in its satchel before walking over to Clarke. Beth looks at Abby and then the others. "Abby's fine now."

John points to Ontari. "What about Ontari? I thought you said we only had one shot at it?" He asks the girls.

Clarke stands up. "I told you, Ontari's no longer an option for the Flame." Clarke says to them. "She's brain dead." Clarke tells them, again. "Is the floor secure?"

"For now. Jaha and the other guards are tied up in a bedroom." Bellamy answers.

"We took out the elevator and the ladder as we climbed." Pike says to them. "The stairs are collapsed. No one's following us." He says.

Beth shakes her head, running a hand through her hair. "Unless they find another way." Beth says to them.

Bellamy and the rest look at her. "What other way?" Clarke asks her.

"I've lived here before, Clarke, so have you. I know there's more than two ways to get into this tower. I just haven't actually found out how yet." Clarke nods at Beth.

"At least we have time." Clarke says to them.

Beth looks at John as he begins talking. "What we don't have is a way down." He says to them.

"Time for what?" Bellamy asks, ignoring Murphy all together.

Beth looks at Clarke before speaking. "An ascension ceremony." Beth says to everyone.

"Ascension? You just said Ontari wasn't an option." John asks as they look at Beth. "Besides, she's still chipped and we no longer have the EMP."

Beth shakes her head. "We're not putting the Flame in Ontari's head. We're putting it in mine." Beth says, grabbing the Flame from Clarke.

"Beth, that thing killed Emerson within seconds, liquefying his brain." Bellamy says to her.

Beth smirks lightly. "Emerson wasn't connected to a Nightblood." Clarke goes to protest. "Clarke, you will take the Flame that is in my head. I will take the Commander's Flame. It's the only way to stop this. I'll be connected to Ontari as will you." Beth tells the blonde. "With two of us instead of just me it'll probably be faster to end this all." Clarke sighs before nodding.

"A transfusion?" Pike asks the two girls, walking closer.

"Not exactly." Clarke says to the man.

Beth turns as she hears Abby. "Connected like Mount Weather."

Clarke turns around and looks at Abby. "Yes. Everything we need is in your med kit." Clarke says to her mother.

Abby stands up. "No, it's to dangerous for you girls, and there are to many variables." Abby says to the two.

"I'll do it myself, if you don't help." Beth says to the woman.

"We have no ther option." Clarke says to her mother, not backing down.

Octavia, Kai, Miller and Bryan walk in. Octavia walks up to the two girls. "Whatever your doing, you better do it fast." She says to them.

"Why? What happened?" Bellamy asks his sister.

Octavia sighs before answering. "They're climbing."

Beth, Bellamy, Clarke, Pike and Murphy rush to the balcony, along with Abby and Octavia, looking down. "I told you they'd find a way." They saw people rushing to climb the tower, some already doing so. "We have to do this." Beth says to Abby.

Clarke nods, agreeing, looking at her mother. "It's the only way."

"Okay. I'll help you." Abby says to the two girls. Abby, Beth and Clarke rush inside, Beth giving a glare to Pike before going in.

"O, come here!" Beth exclaims after she goes inside. Octavia rushes inside and Beth grabs her arm, pulling her away from the others. "Do not kill Pike." Octavia goes to protest. "The kill is mine. He killed my fiance. I will kill him. Do not do it. He is my kill." Beth says sternly. Octavia nods and Beth nods back before going back over to Abby and Clarke. "Let's get started."

-------

Beth sat on the throne as Clarke sat next to her in another chair. They had already hooked Beth up to the Nightblood and taken out the Second's Flame. All that was left to do was flip the switch for the blood and put in the Heda's Flame.

Clarke winces as Abby puts the needle into her arm. Clarke nods at her mother and her mother puts a piece of cloth over the needle, holding it tight. Pike walks back into the room from the Balcony as Kai and Murphy made sure everything was good with Ontari.

"Balcony's greased." Pike says, putting down a container as Bellamy and the others walk back in. "No one's getting in through here."

"Good. There's enough lamp oil to cover every window on the floor except the Commander's Chambers." Bellamy says to them.

Beth nods, looking down at the needle in her arm, before looking at them. "Then that's where the fighting starts." Pike says. Beth sighs, closing her eyes. She feels someone grab her hand, she looks up and sees Kai standing there. She gives him a faint smile and nods. He nods back, squeezing her hand lightly before letting go. "We'll dig in there." Pike says before leaving. Bryan and Miller follow him.

Octavia goes to follow, Bellamy calling out to her. "O." She stops and turns, nodding at him. "Be careful."

She doesn't reply before looking at Beth. Beth gives her a stern look. Octavia nods before leaving the room. Beth looks at Kai. "Go with them, make sure nothing happens." Kai nods. "May we meet again." She mutters quietly to him.

"We will meet again, Beth Kom Trikru." He mutters back before leaving the room.

"We're all set." Abby says and walks back over with Becca's Flame, standing in front of Beth. She turns the switches on the two tubes, making the dark red blood from Beth leave her body and the black blood to go in. She does the same for Clarke, only Clarke's blood to be a normal color.

Clarke watches nervously as the black blood goes into her. Bellamy smiles slightly, looking down at the blonde. "Hey, try doing that upside down." He says. Beth laughs quietly, shaking her head.

Clarke looks up at her mother. "This will work." Clarke says to Abby.

"And if it doesn't?" Abby asks, looking at them both.

Murphy walks closer. "If it doesn't work, they'll die." He says. "If they don't try, then they die with the rest of us when the climbers get here." Murphy says.

Beth closes her eyes, sighing. "I'll die trying." Beth says before taking the Commander's Flame from Abby's hand.

Murphy nods. "If we're gonna do this, I need the Flame's." He says. Beth nods and hands him, her's. He looks at Abby.

"Mom, please. he knows what he's doing." Clarke says to her. "You have to let me go."

Beth grips the arm of the chair, trying not to lean back as there was already a cut in the back of her neck, bleeding. Abby gives her a concerned look. Beth shrugs. "I've been through worse pain than this. Trust me, I'll be fine. I've done this before." Beth says to the woman.

Abby sighs, nodding at her. Murphy goes behind Beth. "Lean forward more." He says. Beth nods, doing so. She reaches out her hand and Murphy grabs it, knowing she's about to be in a lot of pain. "You ready?"

Beth smirks lightly. "Duh." She mutters, before nodding her head.

Murphy squeezes her hand lightly, before saying. "Ascende superius." He says and the Flame comes to life. He puts it closer to her neck before it breaks Beth's skin again, going into her. She lets out a scream as the Heda's Flame crawls into her. She grips Murphy's hand as she leans up, still screaming in pain, before passing out, her hand falling limp in John's.

Abby puts two fingers to Beth's neck, checking for a pulse. "Her hearts racing." Abby tells them. Abby looks at Murphy. "Get that thing out of her head!"

Beth suddenly wakes up, slowly looking around. "Leave it in." She says. "Don't take it out, not yet."

"Are you in any pain?" Abby asks Beth.

Beth shakes her head before looking at Clarke. "You need the Flame in you, now."

Clarke nods before looking at her mother, nodding. "I need to do this. Now."

Murphy nods, telling her to lean forward. He whispers the same thing to the Second's Flame before it comes to life and attaches itself to Clarke, making her scream out. She passes out and Abby checks her pulse.

Beth looks over at her as she soon begins to wake up. "I know how to stop ALIE." Beth says. Clarke nods at her, knowing what she was thinking. "We have to take the chip." Beth says to them before pulling the one out of her pocket.

"What?" Bellamy asks, looking down at the two girls.

Clarke shakes her head. "Beth's right, we both need to take the chip. We have to go into the City of Light and find the kill switch."

Murphy nods, letting go of Beth's hand, only now just realizing he was still holding it. "Yeah. That sounds like a great idea."

Abby looks at the two girls. "Girls, ALIE wants the Flame's, both of them. If you take the chip, you're giving them right to her." She tells them. "The second someone sees you, ALIE is going to know you're both there. She'll kill you both." Abby looks at Clarke. "If your mind dies, you die."

Beth shakes her head. "I'll do it by myself if I have to." Beth tells them.

Clarke shakes her head no. "The Flame's will protect us." Clarke says. Beth nods, agreeing. "I don't know how, I just know."

"She's right. I feel it too, we'll be fine. Trust us." Beth says to them.

Bellamy walks over to a table, picking up a chip and turning around. "I believe you guys." Bellamy says to the girls. Beth nods at him. He walks back over and standing next to Clarke.

"Do you even know what you're looking for?" Abby asks them.

Beth looks at her. "We'll know when we find it." She says.

"May we meet again." Abby says to them, more so to Clarke.

Clarke smiles and nods, saying, "We will."

Bellamy goes closer to Clarke. "We'll keep you both safe."

Beth looks at Murphy. "If I die because of you, I'm so coming back to haunt your ass." She smirks lightly.

He laughs lightly. "May we meet again, Kane." Beth smirks at him.

Beth sighs, closing her eyes, before looking at them all. "May we meet again." She says. She looks at Clarke before taking the chip. Bellamy feeds Clarke the chip. Beth smirks lightly.

Beth leans back in the Heda's throne, closing her eyes.

------

FLASHBACK

"They put the Second's Flame inside you?" Lincoln asks Beth as they stood in their room. Beth had just got home from Polis where they ended up putting the Second Flame in her.

Beth takes off her jacket. "Yes, I didn't think you'd be upset about it. I'm Lexa's second. A second to the Commander needs to have the Flame in her." Beth explains to him.

"I know, Beth." He says to her. Lincoln sighs, running a hand over his head. "That thing could kill you." He says to her.

"I'll be fine, Linc." She says to him. She looks up at him as she walks closer.

Lincoln shakes his head in worry. "No, that Flame will kill you the second the Nightblood leaves your system."

"Then I'll get more Nightblood in me." Beth exclaims, sitting in the bed, taking off her shoes.

Lincoln looks at her. "How? No Nightblood is just going to willingly do this for you."

Beth stands up, crossing her arms. "Why? The have for the other Seconds."

Lincoln sighs "Because you're-" Lincoln stops, shaking his head, not continuing.

Beth scoffs lightly, throwing her arms up, shrugging. "Because what, Lincoln?" He doesn't reply. "Because I'm what, Lincoln?!"

"Because you're Skaikru! They are not going to give up their blood for a sky girl." He says to her.

Beth sighs. "If you were a Nightblood, would you?"

Lincoln sighs. "That's different." He says to the red haired girl.

"Why?" She asks the man. "Because you met me when I first landed? Because you trust me? Because you love me? Or is it something else? What if I was a Nightblood on Earth?"

"If I was a Nightblood, I would be dead right now. We would have never met. Lexa would have killed me in the Conclave. And she would have killed you, have you been born a Nightblood on Earth." Lincoln says to her.

Beth shakes her head. "Do you not want me to become the Commander's Second with The Flame because of Lexa? Or do you not want me to become one because you don't think I can do it?" Beth asks him. Lincoln sighs, not replying. Beth nods, scoffing lightly. "You're the one that made me who I am now. Do you not want me to be this person anymore? Dula op Yu gaf in gon Ai na scared Strik gada ai don ste fou Ai met Yu? Chomouda? Dula op yu don nou believe raun Ai?" She asks the man. "Why am I yelling in Trigedasleng?!" She mutters to herself.

Lincoln looks at her. "You know I don't. You know I love you."

"Or do you love the person you made me?" Beth asks him, a few tears falling down her cheeks. "I would have never become the Commander's second had I not met you, right?" She asks. "I wouldn't be strong enough. I probably would have died in that damn Mountain, right?"

"That's not what I'm saying, Beth!" Lincoln exclaims.

"You think because I'm Skaikru, no one will respect me enough to be Commander's Second. That no one will help me because of where I'm from. Because everyone, including you, think I wouldn't be here right now if it weren't for you and Indra and Lexa?" Is that it? I'm not strong enough for any of this?" Beth asks him. Lincoln sighs, shaking his head, going to speak but Beth stops him. "Just stop. Please, just stop." She says.

Beth walks over to the door and opens it. "Can you just leave for a while? Please?"

Lincoln closes his eyes, sighing, before looking back at her. She doesn't look at him. He grabs his jacket, walking to the door before going to kiss her forehead but she moves away. Lincoln sighs, walking out the door. Beth slams it closed before letting out a sob. She throws the closest thing to her, a small clock, against the wall.

She leans against the door, sliding down it, tears falling down her face as she held her head in her hands.

------

Beth was now leaning down, picking up broken glass from the floor, as Lincoln walked back into the room. She hisses in pain as one of the shards cuts her hand, groaning lightly as she put pressure on it with her other hand. Lincoln notices the redhead, rushing over to her after he closed the door.

"Beth, what happened?" He asks her, looking down at her hand. Beth shakes her head, not replying. Lincoln sighs, grabbing some cloth from their table, wrapping it around her hand.

Beth winces as the fabric touches the cut. "How bad is it?" She asks him, still not looking up at him.

"It should be okay. No stitches, it didn't cut to deep." He says to her. She nods, running her non-injured hand through her hair. "What happened?"

Beth sighs, looking at the wall where that glass used to hang. "I punched the mirror and then threw it across the room." She says to him, looking down.

Lincoln sighs, pulling her closer to him as they were both sitting on the ground. "I'm sorry." He mutters to her.

Beth nods. "Me too." She says to him, leaning her head on his chest. He grabs her legs, drapping them over his, making her side lean into his chest.

"I don't think you're weak. I think that some of the others may think you are, and try to weaken you. I don't want them to hurt you." He says to her.

"They won't. You have to trust me, Linc." Beth tells him.

Lincoln nods. "I do trust you. More than anyone else." He says to her. "I just don't want to lose you."

Beth gives him a small smile, looking up at him. "You won't lose me. I'm not weak, Lincoln. And with me being Lexa's second, it'll become easier to have an aliance with them again instead of being back where we used to be." She explains to him. He nods, kissing her head lightly.

"I don't think Lexa would have killed you, had you been in the Conclave." He mutters to her. She smiles lightly. "I think you could have beaten them all." Lincoln says. "And no, I don't want you to go back to who you used to be. Yes, I loved you then. I still love you but you became this person because that's what you needed. And I'd never want you to change yourself for me."

Beth nods at him, leaning her head back on his chest. "Ai laik raun hod in kom Yu."

Lincoln leans down, kissing her. "En ai laik raun hod in kom Yu."

------

Beth exhales before she looks around, opening her eyes. She looks around in awe at the sky and the buildings. Beth looks to her left right as Clarke appears. "Is this-"

"The City of Light." Clarke finishes, looking around the city. "We need to go." Beth looks at the blonde, nodding before the two rush closer to the city.

The two girls walk forward, looking around the street at the city. They had never seen anything like this before. It was different for them. Everything around them was new, the skyscrapers, the roads, the signs, everything was foreign. But it was beautiful, even if it looked like it had just rained.

"Clarke." Beth mutters, getting the girls attention. Clarke looks at her and Beth points to a man who was walking down the street. "Is he following us?" Beth asks as the girls walked and the man walked closer to them.

"I don't know." Clarke says to her. "But if he sees us, so does ALIE." She adds and Beth looks at her worried. Clarke grabs her hand, pulling Beth along, walking faster with her until the two girls start jogging, trying to get away from the man. Both of them panting quietly as worry filled them both.

The two girls suddenly stop as they almost run into another man, the loud noises of the busy street causing them to look around alarmed. Beth looks frantically around as people walked past them, as if not seeing them. She turns and sees the man they thought was following them as he walks past the two, holding his hand up to signal someone. He walks over to a woman, hugging them. Beth lets out a sigh of relief as she looks at Clarke, who still looked tense and nervous.

"Jasper." Clarke mutters and Beth turns and sees Jasper walking down the road with an ice cream cone.

Beth frowns, upset to find out it was Jasper who told ALIE everything, also upset she had no ice cream. Jasper walks past the two as Beth watched confused. "I want some ice cream." Clarke slaps Beth's arm, "Bitch." Beth mutters before Clarke looks back at her.

"They can't see us." Clarke says to her.

Beth nods, agreeing. "That's a good thing. The second they do, we're dead." Beth then grabs her arm, pulling her to follow Jasper to a bench, where he sits down and eats his ice cream. Beth frowns at the smile on his face. They were about to take away his happiness, again. She quickly turns as she hears someone whispering her name. "What?" She asks Clarke.

Clarke gives her a confused look. "Did you just say my name?" Clarke asks her.

Beth gives her a weariy look. "I was about to ask you that." She says to the blonde girl.

Clarke goes to walk forward but stops as a light turns red. She then sees a girl walk past, almost looking like Lexa. "Was that Lexa?" Beth mutters. Clarke doesn't answer, following the girl, leaving Beth standing there alone. Beth sighs before rushing after Clarke.

-------

Back in the room with Ontari, Abby, John and Beth and Clarke's bodies, Ontari starts seazing and black blood starts to drip from Clarke's nose and Beth's ears and nose.

------

Beth and Clarke were still following after the girl. Beth lets out a grunt as she falls to the ground, feeling weak. Clarke rushes to her as black blood drips from her own nose.

"Are you okay?" Clarke asks the red headed girl. Beth shrugs. "C'mon we gotta go." Clarke says, helping the girl stand.

Nightblood starts to drip from Beth's ears as she almost falls again. "Leave me here. Go find the switch." Beth mutters.

Clarke shakes her head. "No way. I am not leaving you." Clarke says to her, looking at the red head.

"Clarke, you need to stop this. go!" Beth says to her.

"I said I'm not leaving you behind." Clarke says to her. Beth sighs before nodding. Beth wipes the blood from her ear away as Clarke notices her own nose bleeding as it dripped to the ground. Clarke falls to her knees, wiping the blood from her face away.

Clarke helps Beth stand as people around them start to stop, looking towards the two girls. "Oh shit." Beth mutters, noticing all of the people.

Clarke grabs Beth's hand, running away.

-------

Ontari begins moaning and seizing as the black blood begins to go back into her system. John looks over at her, rushing over. "Abby! Abby, we've got a problem." He says to the doctor. John tries to hold the girl down as Abby rushes over, moving him away.

"Move! She's crashing." Abby says to her.

-------

Clarke and Beth reach another road where they see a group of men walking towards them. "Let's go." Beth whispers, pointing ahead of them.

------

Abby begins CPR on Ontari as she looks over to John. "Clarke and beth aren't getting enough Nightblood. Clarke's body is already rejecting the Flame."

John looks over at Abby before looking at Beth. "What about Beth?" He asks her.

"Her body is rejecting it a lot faster than Clarke's for some reason." Abby says to him, continuing the chest compressions.

-----

The two girls look around, scared, people coming at them from different directions. They run across the street to a bunch of stairs.

------

"You need to take over." Abby says to John about the chest compressions. John looks at her. "Do exactly what I'm doing." John looks down at Ontari then back to the older woman. "Come on." Abby says to him.

John quickly replaces her as she moves, beginning the chest compressions on Ontari.

-------

Beth and Clarke turn a corner to more stairs, running up them. The two were getting more weaker than they were before.

-----

Abby goes over to look at the tubes. "If the blood stops flowing through these tubes, their brains will liquify." Abby says to John, holding Clarke's face in her hands. She looks over at Beth, noticing blood continuing to drip from her ears and nose.

"Something else is going on with Beth, it's like she is holding the Flame for more than one person or something." Abby explains to him.

John shakes his head. "That's impossible." He says to her.

Abby sighs. "Keep doing the chest compressions, don't stop."

-------

Beth and Clarke rush up the stairs, almost falling down as Beth loses her balance. The men still following them.

Beth falls to her knees once she hits the first few. Clarke quickly turns and looks at her. "Go!" Beth exclaims to her, looking at the blonde weakly. "I'll be okay. Save our friends! Go, Clarke!" Beth yells as the men walk closer. Clarke shakes her head. "Go!" Beth yells once more and Clarke lets out a quiet sob before continuing to run. "May we meet again." Beth mutters, looking back at the men following.

Clarke rushes forward, only to drop to the ground a few feet away as the four men reach the two. Two of them attacking Beth as the other two attack Clarke. Beth closes her eyes as they continue to kick her, almost as if she was giving up.

A sudden scream makes Beth open her eyes again as a girl jumps from the higher steps and slices the two men kicking Beth, making them fall to the ground.

The girl then goes after the two that were hurting Clarke. She kills them, or at least injures them enough they won't hurt Beth and Clarke again, before turning around. Clarke and Beth look at her shocked. "Lexa?" Clarke mutters. Lexa smirks lightly before turning back around. She fights against the others who were trying to hurt the girls, her swords swinging around as she killed them.

"Oh my god." Beth mutters, seeing the girl she thought of as a sister, alive again, well at least alive here.

Lexa puts her swords away, rushing to Clarke who had her hand out to the girl. Clarke touches the girls face, almost if she thought she was dreaming. "Oh, my god." Clarke mutters before hugging the girl. Lexa smiles, hugging her tightly back.

Beth smiles as she watched the two. She was happy that they were here together, even if it was only temporary; Lexa and Clarke loved each other, Beth could obviously see that. "Sorry to burst your reunion, but I really don't feel like dying here." Beth says to the two girls, making them part.

Lexa looks over at her, a small smile on her face. "I told you my spirit would choice wisely." Beth smiles lightly at her. Lexa's smiles soon fades as she watches more blood drip from Beth's ear. Lexa rushes over with Clarke. "No." Lexa mutters as she looks down at Beth's stomach and then back to Beth.

"What?" Beth asks her, confused by the Commander's worried look.

Lexa shakes her head. "You can't be here, Beth. Not know." Lexa says, confusing not just Beth but Clarke as well. "Beth, the Flame isn't rejecting you. It's rejecting your child."

"What?" Beth mutters before shaking her head. "No, I- I can't be pregnant. no, Lexa, that's not possible Lincoln- Lincoln's dead."

Lexa frowns slightly, already knowing that the man was dead. "I'm sorry about him, Beth." She says to her Second. "But this explains why you were sick for the past 2 months."

Beth sighs, tears welling in her eyes. "I can't be pregnant." Beth mutters.

Lexa hugs her tightly. "It'll be okay." She mutters to Beth. They pull away from the hug as they hear footsteps running closer. They three look around. "We need to get you out of here, Beth. Before ALIE kills you and the baby." Lexa looks at Clarke. "Our fight is not over." Lexa helps Beth stand along with Clarke, helping the two girls run.

------

Beth drops to the ground as they were walking down different stairs now. "I- I can't" Beth says to the two. "Go, get out of here." Beth says to them.

Lexa leans down next to her. "You are not giving up." She says to Beth. "I didn't train a weak girl. I trained a warrior. You are a warrior. Now get up and fight. Yu gonplei nou ste odon. Beth, gyon op en hon daun a sword en gon daun."

Beht nods at her, groaning as she stood up, leaning against a railing. She grabs one of Lexa's swords as a man runs over to him. She lets out a yell before attacking him, slashing down his chest before kicking him away. She slams the sword down onto his chest as his blood flew up, some hitting her face. Another hand grabs her shoulder and she quickly turns, stabbing the other man in the stomach, the sword going right through him.

Beth looks back at Lexa and Lexa smirks. "Now that is the warrior Lincoln and I trained you to be."

Clarke suddenly falls to the ground, weak. Lexa grabs her arms, holding her from falling all of the way. "Somethings wrong. I can't." Clarke says as she falls, gasping. Beth leans down next to the two as Lexa grabs Clarke's face, holding it in her hands. "I never thought I'd never see you again."

Lexa smiles at her. "I told you my spirit would choice wisely. For the both of you, and it did." Lexa says to Clarke. Beth smiles. Clarke nods, gasping in pain as a sudden loud rumbling rolled in through the sky.

The three girls look around as the sky turns to night. "What is it?" Clarke asks Lexa.

"ALIE knows your both here." Lexa says to her. "She's uploading the Flame's from your minds." She tells the two girls. "Your minds are changing things. Day turns to night. It rains. We have to hurry." Lexa says. Lexa goes to help Clarke stand but Clarke drops back down in pain and starts to seize. "Clarke." Lexa says, trying to get the girl to answer.

Beth looks at the two wide eyed. "If she is seizing, why am I not?" Beth asks. Lexa looks up at her, shaking her head, not knowing why.

------

Clarke begins seizing in the chair next to Beth who was asleep on the throne. Abby watches Clarke as John is still doing chest compressions on Ontari.

"It's not working. Open her shirt." Abby says to the boy. John looks at her but does what he is told as Abby gets her med kit. Abby brings it over as John get's Ontari's shirt off. "They're still not getting enough blood." Abby says to John. "We have to increase Ontari's heart rate."

------

"Clarke?" Lexa says as Beth leans down next to them. "Clarke?"

Beth starts to cough violently. She brings a hand up to her mouth and coughs into it. She looks and sees the warm black substance in her hand. "Lexa?" Beth asks before she falls to the floor, passing out, her body still as ever.

-------

Abby holds up a scapel, as John watches. "I'm not gonna like this, am I?" He asks the woman. Abby doesn't answer as she rushes over and cuts a line down Ontari's chest. John looks away as Abby cut, looking to Beth, before noticing something. John rushes over to Beth and puts his hand on her check as blood dripped out of her mouth and nose this time. "Abby! What's going on with Beth?"

"Check her pulse." Abby says to him, not looking up from what he was doing.

John puts his fingers on her neck, trying to feel for a pulse but is not able to find one. John groans before picking up the red head and laying her on the ground.

"John, what's wrong?" Abby asks him as she opens Ontari's chest with a clamp.

John starts doing chest compressions on the red head, trying to get her pulse back. "C'mon Beth, you're too badass to die on me now." He mutters as he continues the CPR.

-------

"C'mon Beth." Lexa mutters, trying to wake both girls now. "You're fight is not over. You have a child to look after now. You have our people to look after now." Lexa mutters to her.

Beth lets out a small gasp as she begins breathing again, though still in the City of Light and not in the real world.

Lexa sighs in relief at the girl. "We need to get you out of here, Beth. Your baby cannot handle the chip and the Flame anymore."

"Clarke is still seizing." Beth says, her voice cracking because of the pain and the tiredness she felt. "I can't leave yet. I don't even know who to."

"We'll figure it out." Lexa says to her.

-------

Abby begins pumping Ontari's heart in her hand as John puts Beth back on the throne. "Get over here." She says to him as the black blood begins to go back to the two girls. John looks at Abby as she looks back over to him. "I need you to pump her heart."

"What?" John asks, moving closer. "Are- Are you crazy? I'm not gonna pump her heart." John says as he gets to her, pointing at the brain dead fake Commander.

"Now!" Abby yells at the boy. John nods. "It's okay. Right under there." She says to him as he grabs the heart. John begins pumping the heart, making noises of disgust. "You're doing great." Abby mutters to him.

John nods at her. "Okay. Just go get Clarke and Beth. I got this." He says to the woman.

Abby rushes to Clarke, holding her arms, muttering to her. "Come on, my baby. Fight. Fight. I know you can do it."

-------

"Clarke, come back. We need you." Lexa says as she held Clarke in her arms again. Clarke stops seizing. Beth sighs in relief as she looks around. No one had found them yet, thank god.

-------

"She's stabillizing. Don't stop what you're doing." Abby says to John as he looked at them and she looked at Clarke.

John looks at Beth. "How's Beth?" He asks, concerned for the girl.

Abby moves and checks the girl's pulse. "Still breathing. She should be okay." John nods.

-------

Clarke opens her eyes as more rumbling and Beth smiles lightly. Beth looks away as Lexa helps Clarke sit up. The two stare at each other for a moment before kissing. Beth looks over, smiling lightly. She looks down at her stomach, placing her hand on it.

Lexa puts her hand on Clarke's face, moving some of her hair out of it. "Listen to me, both of you." Beth looks back over. "Now the upload has begun, ALIE's people will be able to see us. We need to be more careful." Lexa says to the two. Beth nods at her Commander as Clarke looks around.

"Why aren't they here already?" Clarke asks, looking back at Lexa.

"The Flame's offer some protection, but less and less. Can you stand?" Lexa asks the blonde girl.

Clarke nods. "Yeah." Clarke, Lexa and Beth stand as Clarke notices her dads watch. "My father's watch, it's working. It's counting down." Beth walks closer to the two, holding her sword, well Lexa's sword, in her hand. Clarke looks at the two. "We have 10 minutes to find that kill switch."

A small girl on a bike, whose bell rings, causes them to look over at her as she rode past them. Beth notices the infinity sign on the back of her jacket. "Thank you, Becca." Lexa and Beth both say at the same time. They smile lightly at each other before the three rush after the girl on the bike.

-------

The three girls turn a corner, running after the girl on the bike. "Wait!" Clarke exclaims as the girl continues to ride off. "We're losing her." Clarke says as the three run up to a huge padlocked fence. The three stop and Beth grabs onto the gate, shaking it, somewhat angrily.

"It's a firewall." Lexa says.

"Damn it!" Beth exclaims, loudly and angrily.

Lexa looks over to the red head. "Chil au gona." Lexa says to her. Beth sighs but nods, running a hand through her hair.

"I don't understand." Clarke says, looking at the other side of the fence.

"You'll never get to the kill switch." Jasper's voice calls out, making the three turn around.

Lexa pulls out her swords as Jasper walked closer to them.

Beth puts a hand out in front of Lexa as the Commander stood in front of the two others protectively. "No, it's okay." Beth says to her. Beth walks closer to Jasper. "Jas, what are you doing here?"

"Trying to stop you both." He says looking at Beth and then Clarke. "You've seen the City of Light now. It's perfect." Jasper says and Beth frowns, lightly shaking her head. "There's peace, happiness, safety. Why would you want to deny that to anyone?" He asks her as he walked closer to them.

"She's torturing people to get them here, Jasper." Clarke calls out. "Taking their memories, controlling them." Clarke says, walking to where Beth was. Jasper looks down, shaking his head. "This isn't even you. This is ALIE."

Jasper looks up. "She's doing what has to be done."

"She took away our choice." Clarke says to him. "Human beings have free will. We get to decide how we should live."

"C'mon Jas, don't do this. Come with us." Beth says to him.

Jasper ignores Beth, looking at Clarke. "Human beings are the only species that act against their own self-interest. We torture each other. We fight, hurt each other, break each other's hearts." Jasper says as he walks closer to the two girls, he looks at Lexa as he said the last part. Tears welled in Beth's eyes as she tries to force them away. He looks back at Clarke and Beth. "None of that exsists here. ALIE is protecting us from ourselves."

"Clarke, Beth, there's still time. We'll find another sign, let's go." Lexa says to the two girls. Lexa goes to walk away but Jasper gets in her way.

"We can't let you do that." He says and more people walk into the alley way from the turn they had made. Jaha leading them. "Clarke, Beth.  There's nowhere to run. Beth the Flame is already rejecting your body quicker because of your child. Give in now, or they will pay the price as well." Beth looks over to Clarke and Lexa. "The Second and Third AI's can no longer protect you two."

"If we remove the Flame's, will it stop the updates?" Clarke asks looking over to Lexa.

Beth looks over at them, a worried look in her eye. "Yes, but no one's ever done that by choice before." Lexa says to them. "Regardless, you'll both be one of them. ALIE will get the Flame's either way."

"Then stop fighting." Jasper says to them. The three girls look over at him.

Beth and Clarke both look at Jasper and the others while Lexa notices something appear on the wall. "Clarke, Beth." The two girls look at the Commander. They look over, following her gaze as two doors appear, Jasper looks over as well. One door having a letter 'B' on it. Beth looks back to Lexa.

A white Raven appears over both doors and Beth smiles lightly. "Raven." She mutters.

Jasper rushes to stand in front of the door with out the B. "Jasper get out of our way." Clarke says to him.

Lexa rushes up, punching him. Beth starts to cough up more Nightblood mixed with normal blood. She turns to Beth, looking at the door with the B. "It'll take you back to Polis, it will wake you up."

Beth shakes her head. "You need to go now! Your baby can't keep up like this. You need to go, Beth Kom Trikru." Lexa says to her. Beth looks at the girl with tears in her eyes. Lexa hugs her, Beth hugging back. "You will be fine, Beth. Yu are a brave gona beth kom Trikru. Hed op Oso kru. Dula op nou huk op raun gon enemies. Fig au hod in again, na happy. Mebi oso na hit choda op nodotaim, Beth Kom Trikru."

"Oso na hit op again, heda." Beth says back to her.

Lexa smiles at her before saying. "Yu are heda nau. Hed op emo kom bilaik heart en kom bilaik brain. En Won deyon Oso na hit op again." Lexa and Beth share one last hug before Beth looks at Clarke, who nods at her.

"See you on the other side." Beth says to Clarke before stepping through the door with the B on it.

-------

Beth gasps awake, looking around the room. Abby was standing near her and John was pumping Ontari's heart. She pulls the Nightblood tube out of her arm after switching it off. "Get this Flame out of me." Beth says, as Abby rushes over to her.

"We can't yet." Abby says to her. "Where is Clarke?"

Beth sighs. "She's fine, she found the kill switch. I had to get out early though or I would have been dead. She'll wake up soon so get the damn Flame out of me."

Abby sighs. "Okay." Abby nods at the red haired girl and looks at John. "John, get over to Beth once I take Ontari's heart, okay?" John nods at her and the two quickly switch places.

"Thank god you're not dead." John mutters to Beth.

"I'm to badass to die." John lets out a light laugh before cutting open Beth's neck. She groans in pain and feels the Flame coming out of her. "Oh fuck, I hate that." She says as she takes the Flame from John, putting it into her pocket after placing it in the box.

Beth stands up with the help of John before walking over to Ontari's body. "What the hell happened here?"

"Her heart wasn't pumping enough blood. We had to improvise." Abby says to the 18 year old. Beth nods before looking back at the doors as Miller, Kai, Bryan, Octavia, Bellamy and Pike rush into the room. Bellamy, Kai and Pike instantly beginning to baracade the door.

Beth raises an eyebrow. "I'm alive, by the way." Beth calls out, raising her hand slightly.

Octavia and the rest turn and look at her. Beth had a slight smirk on her face. Octavia rushes over to the red head, hugging her. Beth laughs lightly, hugging her back. "Now, what the hell is going on?"

-------

"We need to keep Clarke safe. Give her time." Bellamy says as they baricaded the doors. Beth nods agreeing with him as she grabs her sword from Octavia. He walks closer to the group as they backed up slightly to have room to fight. "They're unarmed, but they won't feel pain, and they won't stop until their out cold."

Beth stood in between Pike and Octavia, Kai behind them. Beth looks at Pike giving him a glare before noticing his hurt leg. Beth turns and looks at Kai, who nods towards Octavia. Beth rolls her eyes before facing forward again.

"Copy that. Go for the knockout." Miller says from the other side of Bellamy.

Beth turns as Abby cocks a gun. Bellamy and her giving the Griffin woman a look, to which she replies. "Only if they get passed you." The two nod at the woman and turn back around as there was a loud slam coming from the door.

The red head holds up her sword up, ready to fight along with the others, as more stuff falls from the baracade on the door.

Beth smirks lightly as they begin to enter the room. "Here we go!" Beth yells before rushing up and beginning to fight.

Beth slashes a man and then another and another before a familiar face appears. The healer who had helped her before Lexa had died. Beth knocks him on the head before kneeing him, making him fall unconsious but not kill him. Beth watches as her dad walks in and Bellamy grabs his arm, punching him but Kane punches back.

The girl shakes her head before going back to fighting. She'll help Bellamy and her dad later, right now they needed to stop these people from getting to Clarke.

Beth continues to fight as more and more come. She sees Kai helping Octavia up and fight another one. Beth's suddenly knocked onto the ground with a grounder kneeling above her, chocking her.

She tries to fight him off but cannot get the staf off her neck. Beth whimpers as her air gets cut off more. She starts to get black spots in her vision as she remembers what Lexa said in the City of Light.

Your fight is not over.

Beth lets out a strangled scream as she attempts to push the man off her even more. A sudden object goes flying towards the mans head, knocking him out. Beth looks up, her eyes wide as she sees Pike there, standing.

She sits up, grabbing her sword, looking at the man. Just because he saved her life does not mean she will spear his when this was over.

Beth gets up, holding a hand to her neck as Jaha walks into the room. Beth continues to fight off another grounder as he came at her with a sword. Her sword clashes with his as he goes to swing at her. She quickly moves her sword, slashing the man in the stomach. She kicks him and bashes his head, making him fall to the ground, knocked out.

Suddenly everything stops, the people being controlled stop fighting, many groaning in pain and agony as they begin to feel everything that has happened to them.

Beth stood there, watching as everything happened. Her father was crying into his hands with Abby next to him. Grounders and people from the Ark were all standing around. Every bodies emotions were going crazy. Beth notices Clarke and Clarke looks at her.

Beth nods at the girl, giving her a small smile. Clarke does the same back before looking to Bellamy who had helped her up. Emori and John were standing next to each other, hugging each other. Octavia and Kai were a few feet away from Beth. Her father and Abby were off to the side.

Beth turns around and sees Pike standing a few feet away, looking at her. Beth's emotions were everywhere. Remembering what Miller and Byrne were talking about growing old together. She wanted that. But because of Pike, she couldn't have that. He had killed the only person who ever truly loved her and understood her; Lincoln, and now he was gone. The father of her child was gone.

She looks over at the man who took the love of her life away from her. He notices her glare, which was pointed at him. She still had her sword in her hand. She looks down at it and that's when she knew exactly what she was gonna do. She walks closer to him. A few people were now watching, noticing her move closer to him. "You killed the love of my life." She says, walking closer. "You killed the father of my child." She whispers so only he heard. "I told you there was no way you were leaving this place alive." Beth says, a little louder this time.

Kane notices the sword in his daughters hand. Clarke notices it as well. "Beth." The two of them, along with Kai, say. She looks at them. They see the dark look in her eyes.

She looks back at Pike. She shakes her head angrily. She was angry. Livid, she was hurt and broken. And without Lincoln she felt like there was a piece of herself missing. He nods at her, knowing what she was about to do.

"Jus drein jus daun!" She yells. Clarke and Octavia look at her wide eyed, knowing what she said, while Kai closes his eyes as he listened into everything.

She looks Pike in the eyes. Then stabs her sword right through his abdomen. She twists the sword in him. The sound of the sword making everyone else in the room look over, if her yelling from before didn't. She has a hard gaze on her face as she takes the sword out of him and flicks the blood off of it. She looks back at the others. They were shocked as Pike falls to the ground. She watches with a cold stare on her face as the man closes his eyes, dying.

"Beth." Her father says. She doesn't look at him.

She starts to walk out of the room, not looking back at anyone, as a numb feeling spreads through her body. She puts her sword in its carrier and walks out of the room.

Octavia looks at Clarke and her brother. Octavia then puts her sword away and turns the door where her best friend just walked out of. She looks around at everyone then follows her best friend, the one girl who has always been truthful to her. The one who has always been there since they landed onto Earth almost six months ago.

Clarke looks at Bellamy, he was watching Octavia walk to her best friend, out of the room. Kai sighs, looking around before following Octavia.

Beth walks down the hall alone, only two things on her mind. One, that she will do anything to protect her child. And two, she'll do anything to protect and lead her people.
