^^^ I made this and I wanna cry now.

this chapter seems really short to me, so it might be, sorry guys.

RED SKY AT MORNING

Beth sat with Clarke, Kai, Bellamy, Octavia and Jasper as a girl was talking to others away from them. "Everywhere I looked, there were fins. And teeth. And blood. I knew if they saw me, I'd be next, so I just floated there, waiting, praying they'd swim on." The girl explains her story. 

Beth sighed, running a hand through her hair, tiredly. Can I go float myself?  Beth thinks to herself, looking at the others. "She said no, can we go now?" She asks the group, not wanting to sit there for another moment.

"No." Clarke says. 

A door opens as Luna walks in. "She's here. Maybe she changed her mind." Bellamy says to them. Beth rolls her eyes. Bellamy taps Clarke's leg and the two get up walking over to her. 

Beth watched as they talked, ending with Luna walking away and up to Beth, Jasper, Kai and Octavia. Luna looks at Beth. "We need to talk." She says to the redhead. Beth nods at the girl.

Octavia and Kai stand as Jasper says. "That's our que." The three walk away as Luna sits next to Beth. Luna holds out Lincoln's book. "I thought you'd want this back." Luna says to her. 

Beth nods, giving the girl a small, forced smile. "Thank you." Beth looks at the book in her hands, placing it on her legs. "And my sword?" She asks Luna.

"Your weapons will be on the boat." Luna says to her.

Beth looks down at the book, messing with the flap. "So much for the great savior of those in need." Beth says. She sighs. "Sorry. I've had a bad week."

Luna nods, understandingly. "You don't want saving." Luna says to the red haired girl. "You want someone to fight with you."

"Damn right, we're at war." Beth tells the Floukru girl. "Luna, you can't just ignore that." Beth sighs, looking down before looking back at the Nightblood. "Lincoln would have wanted you to help us."

Luna doesn't tear her gaze from the fire as she asks, "By becoming Commander?" She asks the girl. "I don't think so. Lincoln knew our rules. We take people in who are done fighting. Done killing." Luna says looking at Beth now. "Look at you, fighting is all you know." Beth shakes her head. "Your friend Octavia is the same. Death is all you know." Beth looks away from the girl and at the fire. "Lincoln would have never brought that here." Tears well in Beth's eyes as she sat there, she wipes them away.

Applause tore the girls from their conversation. The two look over, seeing the other girl with the shark story was done speaking. Beth smiles lightly, seeing Jasper clapping, looking almost happy.

The two girls stay silent for a moment, before Luna speaks. "How'd you meet him?" Luna asks the girl. Beth looks at her, confused. "Lincoln, how'd you meet him?"

Beth sighs, looking down at the book. "Do you really wanna know or are you just trying to make me not pissed at you?" Beth asks the girl.

Luna shakes her head, looking at the girl. "He was my friend. I wanna know how you met, you obviously made him happy if he proposed." Luna explains to her.

Beth nods. "It was when we first came here. A few weeks after and I went for a walk. I got pissed at something or something happened, I can't remember. Well, I knew about you all being down here but for some reason, I didn't care. Until I ran into Lincoln." Beth smiles lightly, remembering when she first met Lincoln. "I rambled on about him not killing me. He somehow knew my name and I knew then he had been watching the camp. He told me Mount Weather was not what we all thought and he told me his name." Beth explains to the girl. "I guess, it was just fate or my terrible sense of direction." 

Luna smiles at the girl. "You really loved him." Luna says.

Beth nods, taking a deep breath, trying not to let any tears fall. "He was my home."

Luna nods. A man walks over to Luna, tapping her shoulder. Luna looks at Beth, who nods telling her to go. Luna nods at Beth before walking away. Beth sighs, running a hand through her hair. He was my home.

"Jasper's actually smiling." Bellamy says as the three see Jasper talking to the girl with the shark story. Beth smiles lightly, happy to see her friend smiling. "Clarke, let it go." He says as he sees her looking at Luna. Beth looks and sighs.

Clarke looks at Bellamy, shaking her head lightly. "We can't just leave." Clarke says to him.

"It's not like we have much of a choice." Octavia says to her, from her seat in between Kai and Beth.

Clarke looks over to the youngest Blake. "Maybe we do."

Beth looks at the girl confused as the others do as well. "What are you talking about, Clarke?" Beth asks the blonde girl.

"I'm talking about putting this into her head without asking." Clarke says to them, whispering.

Beth shakes her head as Kai talks. "No way, Clarke. This isn't like Emerson. He was trying to kill us."

Clarke looks at the man. "You think I don't know that."

"Clarke, we don't have to do this." Bellamy says to the girl. "We can fight. We can go back to Arkadia. We arm up."

"Fight who?" Clarke asks him. "It's an army of our own people." She says to them.

Beth sighs, nodding, knowing Clarke was right. They couldn't fight their own people. "I don't like this anymore than you do. But if Raven's right, then the code on this thing can stop ALIE." Clarke says to them. The others stay quiet, Beth sighing as she looked at the fire. "Give me a better idea." They all look at each other, knowing no one had a good idea.

Bellamy looks at them. "We'll stay here. It's the only way they'll leave you alone with her." Bellamy says to Clarke.

Clarke nods and goes to get up but Octavia's words stop her. "Even ALIE gives people a choice."

"We gave Luna a choice." Bellamy says. "She said no." Bellamy and Clarke nod at each other as Beth sighs, something she's been doing a lot of lately.

It was now night and a few of the grounders were leading Beth, Kai, Bellamy, Octavia and Clarke back to the large container. "Where's Jasper?" Beth asks, seeing that the boy was not with them.

"Saying goodbye to his new friend." Octavia answers. They got to the door and the man opened it for them.

Luna looks at the men coming out. "Sorry Cap, we gotta take him back." Luna says to them. Luna looks at the others as a man drops their gear. "Your gear. You get your weapons once you land." She says to them.

"Inside." A man says and pushes Octavia in. Kai, Beth, and Bellamy follow, their hands raised. As Clarke stopped next to Luna. "The Flame?" She asks the Nightblood.

Luna holds it up and speaks as ALIE appears, though no one seeing her. "Remember, Clarke. The path of violence is a choice."

"Their it is." ALIE says, looking at the Flame.

"When the choice is fight or die, there is no choice." Clarke says to the girl as Beth and the others watch. Suddenly, a man attacks them, pushing Clarke into the containers, slamming the doors closed, locking them all in there. Beth rushes forward as Clarke speaks. "They took the Flame."

"Their locking us in." Octavia says, hearing the locks around them.

Beth touches the back of her neck. "They still don't have the third. ALIE is gonna be looking for it."

"Hey! What is this?!" Clarke yells, banging on the door.

"Luna's people are attacking her." Bellamy says to them. "Alie's here."

Bellamy and Kai were hitting against the door as Octavia used a flashlight to looked around. Beth was leaning against a wall as Clarke was sitting down. "How did ALIE even find this place?"  Octavia asks them.

"There was a drone at Niylah's. She must have followed us looking for the second Flame and now she has it." Bellamy explains to the group.

"She's gonna put the AI in Luna." Kai says to the group.

Beth shakes her head. "She'd have to take the chip first. If Luna is chipped before she gets the AI, ALIE will know everything." Beth explains. "We'll never be able to stop her. We can't let that happen." Beth says, banging on the door. "Hey!" Clarke gets up, banging on it with her. Octavia bangs on the door with him as Beth looks up to the ceiling. "I'm sorry, Luna."

"This place was safe until we got here." Beth says as they sat in the room. Beth and Octavia shining their flashlights. There was a sudden clanking on the door, causing them all to look up. It opened and they rushed out.

Once they were out, Beth sees Shay, Jasper's friend, laying on the ground, an arrow in her back. "Shay!" Beth rushes forward, leaning down. "Oh my god." Beth mutters. "You're gonna be okay. You're gonna be okay." Beth whispers as tears form in her eyes.

"Machine room. B level." Shay mutters out before closing her eyes, dying.

Beth closes her eyes, holding in tears. "Yu gomplei ste odon, Shay Kom Floukru."

Clarke grabs Beth's arm. "Come on. Let's go." She says, helping Beth up. The group rushes to where B Level was.

Beth and Octavia kick in the door, looking around the room. Jasper was hung up as a little girl stood near him, tears down her face from crying as she looked scared. Beth notices Luna holding Derrick in her arms, crying. "Oh, no." Luna mutters. "Oh, no." Bellamy rushes to the little girl as Clarke slowly goes to Luna.

Beth rushes over to Jasper, untying him with Kai's helps. "Are you okay?" Beth asks him. Beth jumps at the sudden wailing coming from Luna as Derrick took his last breath. Beth closes her eyes, heartbroken for the two. Beth looks back at Jasper.

"I'm fine. They couldn't break me." He says to her. She nods and hugs him, he slowly hugs her back. "Shay?" He asks as they pull away from the hug.

Beth sighs as Clarke looks over. "I'm sorry." Beth says, shaking her head lightly, an upset expression on her face. Her friend was finally smiling but now, she knew Jasper wasn't going to, not for a long time.

Jasper nods. "It's what we do."

The two look over to Luna and Derrick. "I'm sorry." Luna sobs. "I'm so sorry." She says to the man she loved, continuing to sob. Beth looks down at her hand, looking at the ring.

The group watched as Floukru was about to hold a funerary ceremony. "Anyone of them could have been chipped and we'd never know." Bellamy says to them.

"If they are, they'll make their move before we put the Flame in Luna." Clarke replies. Clarke looks over her shoulder to the other four. "Stay sharp." She says to them.

Jasper looks over at the blonde. "You changed her mind?" He asks her.

"Quiet." Beth says to the two of them, knowing the ceremony was about to start.

Luna walks over to them, another following with a tray of cups. "The ceremony is about to begin." Luna says to the group. The group all takes a cup.

As Luna was about to walk away, Clarke stops her. "Luna, wait." Luna looks up at the girl. "I'm so sorry. But now you see what we're facing. An enemy that will do anything to win. She won't stop until she has everyone." Clarke says to the girl.

Luna holds up the Flame, talking. "People I loved, died today." Luna says. "Needlessly, at my hand." Luna looks at Clarke. "I can't let that happen again." Clarke nods at her. Luna turns and holds up her arm. Her people stand, holding their cups. Luna puts her arm down, speaking.  "As we prepare to give our brothers and sisters to the sea, we honor their lives."

Luna holds her drink up.  "Kom woda 'so gyon op, gon woda 'so kom daun." Luna says and everyone repeats it, holding their cups up before taking a sip. Beth does the same as she closes her eyes, sighing.

Luna turns back to the group as Clarke speaks. "If we're gonna do this, we have to hurry. ALIE will send reinforcements. And we have to find someplace private to perform the Ascension." Clarke explains to the girl.

"You believe that to defeat an enemy who will stop at nothing, you must stop at nothing. How is that different than 'blood must have blood'?" Luna asks the blonde girl.

Beth sighs, knowing Luna wasn't going to take the Flame. "Wait a second, Luna, you can't just..." Octavia falls over unconscious before she could finish her sentence, her cup clattering to the ground. Beth looks at Luna, nodding understandingly. Luna nods at her before Beth passes out, her cup falling to the ground. Bellamy, Kai, and Jasper fall to the ground, their cups falling. Clarke's cup falls from her hands. "No..." She mutters as she falls to the ground, passing out.

Beth wakes up, slowly sitting up as she looked around.  She sees the others, noticing the Flame box in Clarke's hand. Beth groans as she sits up, Kai helps the girl stand. "Thank you." Beth mutters as she looks around again. Bellamy was standing, watching as Clarke made sure the Flame was there. Jasper was laying on the ground as well as Octavia.

Bellamy nods at Clarke before waking towards the bank, tapping Octavia to wake her, he looks over at the water. There was no sign of the rig or anything around them.

Beth walks over and stands next to him. "We'll be fine. We always are." She says to him. Bellamy looks at the red head, surprised. Beth rolls her eyes. "Just because I'm talking to you doesn't mean I don't still hate you." Beth says to him before looking back to the water.

The others walk over to them, standing there. Octavia hands Beth her sword and Lincoln's book. Beth nods at her and Octavia nods back. They were all looking out at the water. "Now what?" Bellamy asks them.

They all look at Clarke as she looks at them. Clarke looks away, back to the water. Beth sighs, looking out to the water, a part of her wishing she had come here with Lincoln when he first asked her. Everything would be different than it was now. Lincoln would be alive and it wouldn't hurt as bad.

Beth walks away, not wanting to stand there any longer. She sits down on a rock away from everyone, sighing. She reaches into her pocket, pulling out something she stole from one of the Flokru men. Beth stares down at it, a part of her urging to do it, but the other telling her no. A tear falls down her face and she quickly wipes it away, not wanting anyone to see. Her eyes still focused on the thing in her hand.

As Beth stares down she thinks, the decision of whether or not to do it is killing her.

'It could all be over with just one chip.'

Okay so a lot of shit is going on so please don't kill me if some of the scenes don't correctly match with what happened or if they just suck. Beth has this huge decision to make in her head and for herself and she honestly doesn't know what to do. Obviously, she knows the affects to taking the chip, but like Raven and Jasper, she just wants the pain to go away. She just lost 3 people she cared about (Lexa, Aden, Lincoln), she doesn't know if her father is alive, and their last resort just said no and drugged them and forced them to leave. They lost Monroe, they almost lost Harper, Monty, Jasper and the rest of the 48. Beth's hurting on the inside and tbh it's killing her. She's angry, heartbroken, depressed. She has no true idea how to cope with it all.

If she takes it or of she decides to throw it away or burn it or destroy it, will be revealed next chapter (which I'm hoping to update later but it 2:33 am and I'm tired) If I don't update tonight, I will most likely have both next chapters (last 2) up tomorrow sometime.
