NEVERMORE

Beth sat across from Kai and Octavia, sharpening her sword. She was listening into Bellamy and the others conversation as they waited for Jasper to get here with Raven. He had radioed them about some chip Jaha was giving everyone. It sounded crazy to Beth, but she didn't think the boy would lie about it.

"I don't understand something about those chips." Monty says to them.

"We'll know soon enough." Sinclair says to the boy. Beth sighs, rolling her eyes before standing up and putting her stuff from the table in her bag. Octavia stood, following her friend.

"Beth, O, wait. You guys can't just leave." Bellamy says to the two girls, walking over to them.Octavia looks at Beth then Bellamy before replying. "Watch us." She says and Kai stands.

"I'm going too." He says to them. 

Beth nods at Kai before going to walk out of the cave but Bellamy's voice stops her. "You heard what Jasper said on the radio, Arkadia is not safe." 

"What Jasper said sounds insane. Pike's gone, we can handle ourselves. Grounders burn their dead." Beth says to the Blake man. 

"I know that. And then what where are you gonna go?" He asks her, looking at Beth.

Beth glares at him. "You don't get to ask me that!" She yells at him. "You are not my brother! You are not my friend! You got him killed!" She yells.

"Beth, O, what do I have to do to prove I am on your side?" He asks the two girls.

Beth's lip quivers as she speaks again. "Bring Lincoln back." Beth says before turning around and grabbing her sword and walking away.

Octavia looks at Bellamy yelling. "Turning Pike in does not make you one of the good guys Bellamy! You did that to save me. Not because you thought what Pike was doing to the grounders was wrong." She yells at her brother. "You got her fiance killed. That was your fault."

Bellamy turns and looks at his sister. "The grounders were starving us out."

"They won't starve me out. A lot of them still consider me their second." Beth tells the man.

"Because you massacred an army that was sent to protect us." Octavia says to her brother.

Bellamy shakes his head. "That army could've attacked at any time and you know it." He tells the girls.

"But they didn't attack, you did that." Kai says. "You killed 300 of my people. You're lucky I don't kill you right now." 

Beth turns back to the boy, looking at him. "You were hurting and you lashed out cause that's what you do. There are consequences Bellamy, people get hurt. People die, your people. Monroe's dead, Lincoln is dead. My fiance is dead! Because of you!" Beth yells at the boy. Beth closes her eyes, forcing away the tears that threatened to fall. Bellamy looks down. She leaves the cave, Octavia, Kai and Bellamy following her.

She walks past Harper and Bryan who were guarding the woods, along with Miller who was on lookout for Jasper and Clarke. "They're here." Miller says as the rover pulls up. 

Beth stops as she sees the rover. She watches as Clarke walks out from the trees. "Need your help!" Jasper yells and Beth runs towards him, who was carrying an unconsious Raven. "We have to get her inside before she wakes up." He tells them.

"Were you followed?" Bellamy asks, rushing over to the boy. 

Jasper shrugs. "Maybe, I don't know." He says to them.

"Get her here." Bellamy says, grabbing Raven from Jasper. 

Miller looks at Bryan before saying. "Get to the route radio if you spot anyone, Harper will stay here on watch." Miller nods, rushing off. 

Clarke looks at Beth as she walks by. Beth looks towards the woods, debating on whether or not to leave. Octavia and Kai follow the others back into the cave as Beth stands there. "Beth, come on we need you." Clarke calls out. Beth rolls her eyes before walking back into the cave. 

The group enters the cave. "Clear some space." Clarke says as the group enters the cave. 

Sinclair runs over, helping Bellamy with Raven. "What the hell happened to her?" The man asks.

"I told you on the radio. Raven is not Raven anymore none of them are. Jaha's been chipping everyone." Jasper says to the group. Beth walks into the cave and Bellamy looks at her. She glares as he nods at her. 

"Jasper's right I've seen it with my own eyes." Clarke says, backing him up.

"I don't need your help alright!" Jasper yells at the blonde, pointing at her angrily.

"Jas!" Beth yells, going up to him. "It's okay. Just take it easy and explain." She says to him, trying to get him to calm down.

Jasper nods his head. "Jaha is using the chips to control people." He tells them. "You swallow the chip and changes you, you forget who you are and you see this thing, ALIE, only she's not really there." he says. Beth looks over to Raven. "She made Raven slit her own wrists." Beth's eyes widen as she leans next to Raven, looking at the girls bandaged wrists. Beth sighs. "I was trying to get it out of her head, I was trying to help her but.." Jasper says. 

"Ok, let's help her now, did she say how?" Sinclair says, walking over to Jasper.

"She was working on building something, she needed one of our old wristbands but Jaha destroyed all of them." Jasper says. 

Beth sighs. "Wait a second." Clarke says, making everyone look at her. Beth watches as she pulls out the Flame box. Her eyes widen. "Does it look like this?"Clarke takes out the flame as Beth stares, a sad look on her face as she knows Lexa's spirit is in it. 

Ravens eyes open as Alie begins to talk to her. "There is it, version two of my program. We need to find version three!" Alie tells Raven.

"Not exactly." Jasper says as Beth walks closer to Clarke. 

"Find out where you are, now!" Alie says to Raven.

Raven suddenly gets up, punching Jasper and running out of the cave. "Don't let her get away!" Clarke yells as the group runs after Raven. 

"I can't see anything!" Raven yells as she's outside in the dark, trying to find out where she is. Miller and Harper grab raven as the others rush out.

"Stop!" Raven yells. 

Jasper and Bellamy restrain her. "If Raven finds out where we are so will Alie." Jasper says to the group. "She'll come for her." Beth grabs onto on of Raven's arms. Jasper sedates Raven and she screams before passing out.Beth looks at the boy and he says, "Reaper stick, last dose." She nods.

"We have to go now!" Clarke exclaims.

Bellamy looks over to the girl. "Why? ALIE doesn't know where we are."

"Because I know where we can get a wristband." Clarke says to the group.

They were in the rover. Kai, Miller, Bryan and Harper staying behind at the cave. Clarke, Jasper, Beth, Octavia, Bellamy, Monty and Sinclair all bringing Raven to where Clarke had told them too. Beth sat next to Clarke. "Can I see it?" She mutters to the blonde. Clarke looks at her. "Can I see Lexa?" Clarke sighs but hands her the flame box. Beth opens it, taking out the Commander's spirit. Beth brings a hand up to the back of her neck, tracing the slit on her neck. 

Monty soon stops the rover and Beth hands the flame back to Clarke.

She looks out the front window, seeing a woman standing there, a sword out. "I'll talk to her." Clarke says to them.

"I'll go with you." Bellamy says to her. Beth opens the back door to the rover, jumping out. 

"So will I." Beth says to them. They nod at her. 

Octavia gets out, seeing the girl and looks at Clarke. "I thought you said she was a friend?" Octavia asks Clarke.

Clarke looks at Octavia, "We'll handle it. Just stay here." She says to the brunette. Clarke, Bellamy and Beth start walking up to the girl. 

"Skaikru is not welcome here, Wanheda." The woman says, looking at Clarke.

"What about Lexa's second?" Beth asks the girl. The woman looks at Beth, now knowing who she was. Beth raises an eyebrow.

Clarke looks at the woman. "Niylah, what's wrong?" Clarke asks the girl.

Beth turns as Sinclair yells. "She's waking up! Hurry! Let's get her inside." 

"Is your father here?" Clarke asks Niylah.

"My father's dead." Niylah says to the blonde. Beth sighs. "Part of an army killed by your people while trying to protect you." Niylah snaps. Beth looks at Bellamy. Bellamy looks down, guilty. 

"Niylah, please." Clarke says to her.

"I said no." Niylah says to her.

"We don't got time for this. Move." Bellamy says, pointing the gun at Niylah. Beth quickly draws her sword, putting it across Bellamy's neck. "Move!" 

"Kill her and you're dead." Beth says to the Blake man. 

"Beth!" Bellamy yells. 

"Drop the fucking gun Bellamy!" Beth yells. She looks at Niylah. "Please, Niylah."

Niylah moves back, letting them pass with Raven. Beth doesn't move her sword from Bellamy's neck, pushing it onto his neck, making him groan in pain. "Beth!" Clarke yells. Beth doesn't reply, glaring at the boy before moving away.

"I need to talk to you when your done." Beth says to Clarke who nods. Beth looks at Niylah, nodding slightly before she walks inside.

"I told you, my mom was here. If she was chipped ALIE would know." Monty says to the group.

Clarke leads them inside. "That's why were putting her in the back, through there." She says, pointing to the room. Sinclair carries Raven into a room. "Tie her to the bed!" Raven struggles against breaking free from everyones grasp. She gets her blindfold off, looking around seeing Alie.

"We need to know where you are." Alie says to Raven, no one else being able to see her though.

"Where the hell am I?" Raven asks, yelling, trying to get up.

Sinclair looks at the rest. "Hold her!" He yells at them. 

"Let me go! Let me go!" Raven yells to them all.

Beth holds one of her arms. "Raven, stop fighting!" She yells to her possesed best friend. Raven hits Jasper in the face with her free arm. "Why is it always me?" Jasper yells as Beth yells to hold down her arms.

"Sinclair, I need your help." Octavia says, trying to tie the Reyes' girls legs down.

"Let me go!"

"Go, go!" Sinclair says, grabbing one of Raven's legs and the rope. Beth ties up one of her arms with Monty and Jasper's help. 

"Let me go! Let me go!" Once Raven is fully tied to the bed, Beth steps back. "Let me go! AAAAaa!"

Beth walks out of the room, not wanting to hear her best friend like that. She sees Bellamy still pointing the gun at Niylah. She looks at the blonde woman. "He'll na dead fou a bullet na even hit Yu." She says to Niylah, who nods back.

"Yu are Heda Leksa Seken sha?" Niylah asks her.

Beth nods. "Sha, Ai tagon ste Beth." She replies.

"Beth Kom Trikru?" She asks.

Bellamy looks over at Beth. "Skaikru." He says.

Beth rolls her eyes, "Originally sha Ai laik kom Skaikru. Ba Heda Leksa en lincoln made Ai trikru, krei sha, Trikru." Bellamy gives the red head a look which she just ignores before the rest leave Raven in the room.

"How the hell do we get that thing out of her head?" Clarke asks Sinclair and Monty. 

"Working on it." Monty answers. Clarke walks over to Bellamy, Beth and Niylah.

"Untie me! Untie me!" Raven yells from the back room.

"I got this." Clarke says to Bellamy and Beth.

Beth nods, she sends a quick glare to Bellamy before looking at Niylah. "Tell me if he tries to do something." Beth says to Niylah. Niylah nods before Beth walks away to Monty and Sinclair. 

"I'll be right here." Bellamy says and walks away.

Beth watched as Niylah and Clarke talked, she didn't listen in though, not like Bellamy was. She watches as Niylah walks out of the small shack as Clarke looks back at Bellamy.

"You ok?" Clarke asks the boy. Beth rolls her eyes, scoffing lightly.

Bellamy nods. "Fine."

Clarke looks at Beth. "Can I talk to you?" She asks the red head. Beth sighs before nodding and walking to another corner of the shack where no one could hear them. Clarke follows behind her as Bellamy watches. "Are you okay?" Clarke asks Beth. 

Beth rolls her eyes, letting out a humourless laugh. "What do you think Clarke? Within the last week I've lost three people I've cared about. One being my fiance." Beth says to her, running a hand through her hair. "That one bein Bellamy's fault." She says. "I lost Lexa, Aden, Lincoln. I could lose my dad and Raven next. I've been sick for the past like 2 months and I have no idea why, and I-." Beth looks down at her feet sighing before looking back at Clarke, her voice breaking lightly. "So no, Clarke. I'm not okay." 

Clarke nods, pulling Beth into a hug. Beth hugs her back. "We'll talk about you being sick after this." Beth nods at her. "And I'm so sorry about Lincoln." Beth gives her a nod before taking a deep breath as Niylah walks back inside, holding a wristband.

------

Clarke places the wristband on the table. "Niylah said we can work in here, so how do we do this?" She asks the group. They were in another room as Clarke, Sinclair, Bellamy, Monty and Octavia stood around a table talking. Beth sat by a small fire place, warming her hands, behind a curtain, listening to their conversation.

Monty picks up the wristband, examing it. "We think Raven wanted to use this wristband to generate an EMP." Sinclair says, scoffing. "Which is freakishly brilliant."

"Meaning what?" Bellamy asks from his spot behind Clarke. Beth rolled her eyes at his voice, still angry, still wanting him dead. She knew the only thing stopping her from killing him was that he was Octavia's brother. That, and she knows it won't fix anything.

"A targetted electromagnetic pulse could destroy the chips circuitry." Sinclair says, grabbing the band from Monty. "We could use this to send an EMP along Raven's own nervous system. Just need to reverse the polarity, a wire for external input and attach of battery." He explains to the group.

"But what would that do to her?" Clarke asks, shaking her head lightly.

"Well EMPs don't affect our bodies. But I don't know the mechanics of how this chip integrates with her brain." Sinclair says to them. 

"This was Raven's plan, wouldn't do it if it would destroy her brain." Bellamy says as Beth stands up from by the fire place. 

"Depends how bad she wanted it out." Beth says, walking in from behind the curtain.

Sinclair looks at the group. "Regardless, without an electromagnet, this is just talk."

"Where do we get one?" Clarke asks them.

Sinclair shrugs lightly, saying,"The Ark. Every station had a pulse inductive thruster-"

"I'll go." Beth says, a slight depressed angry look in her eyes. 

Bellamy shakes his head. "Arkadia's out of the question. You heard them." He says. 

"We use the dropship." Everyone looks at Monty. "It has PI thrusters just like the Ark." 

Sinclair nods. "That's good, ok I'll go salvage the magnet." He says to Monty.

Monty grabs his arm, stopping him from going. "Uh, no. You should stay with Raven and figure out how this thing works." Sinclair nods at the boy. "I'll take the rover, be back by the time you finish the device."

"We'll go with you." Beth says, pointing to her and Octavia.

Bellamy glances at them. "Don't." Octavia says. Octavia and Monty leave and as Beth was about to follow, Clarke grabs her arm. Beth rolls her eyes. "I'm not gonna kill them, they're not the ones I want dead." Beth says, sending a glare to Bellamy. Who looks away, shaking his head.

"That's not why I stopped you." She says. "I want you to stay here."

"Why?" Beth asks the blonde. 

Clarke sighs. "Look, right now. Niylah barely trusts me, let alone anyone else. But she trusts you. You're Lexa's second. You're still a commanders second as long as you have the flame inside you." She says to Beth.

Beth sighs, but nods, knowing she is right. "Fine, I'll stay."

------

"Guys!" Jasper yells from the other room, causing the others to rush in. 

Clarke walks in with Bellamy and Beth following, looking at Raven and then Jasper. "Stop her!"

Beth rushes over to Raven's left side. "Jasper help me get this side! Clarke get her left!" Beth says urgently. Beth grabs ahold of Raven's arm, Jasper holding her legs and Bellamy grabbing some more rope. Bellamy rushes around to the back of the bed, tying her waist around the posts. 

"She's gonna bleed to death. I need bandages." Clarke says, looking around the room. 

"I got her." Bellamy says as he finishes tying Raven's waist. He gets her left arm, holding her there as Clarke runs off to get the bandages. Beth holds down Raven's left arm.

"Raven. Stop fighting us." Clarke says as she comes back over as Raven was still trying to get lose.

Raven looks back over to Jasper, practically growling. "Alie. Alie." Jasper says, causing the woman only Raven can see to look at him. "Alie! Look at me. I know you can hear this. Why are you doing this to her? Let her go." Jasper says.

"I'll let her go when you give me what I want." Raven says, almost sinisterly, her voice sounding almost like Alie's as looks at Jasper. Raven looks to Clarke. "The technology that Clarke carries, it belongs to me. Along with another thats missing."

"No way." Clarke says to her. 

"Clarke just give it to her." Jasper says to the blonde.

Beth shakes her head. "No. Don't." Beth says to the Blonde Griffin girl.

"Clarke!" Jasper yells as Raven practically growls some more. 

"If you let Raven die, you'll never get them." Clarke says, meaning to mention the third one that was in Beth's neck, just not saying where it was.

"Let them help you." Alie says to Raven, Raven still being the only to hear it.

Raven suddenly calms down and Jasper slowly backs up, Beth moving away slighty too. Clarke looks to Raven then to Beth and Bellamy. "Untie her wrists. Hold her steady." Clarke puts her foot on top of Raven's dislocated shoulder as Jasper, Bellamy and Beth hold the girl steady. She kicks Raven's shoulder back into place.

"Clarke, she's never gonna stop trying to get away." Bellamy says to her. "We can't let her hurt herself again. Someone has to stay with her."

"I'll be first watch." Clarke says to them. "We'll take turns."

Jasper looks up slowly to Clarke, yelling, "You don't give the orders, Clarke." Jasper's voice shudders angrily. 

Raven looks at Clarke, smirking lightly. "Guess he doesn't forgive you for murdering his girlfriend." Jasper looks at Raven then Clarke.

"Jasper, let's go take a break." Beth says and grabs his hand, pulling him from the room. Bellamy soon following after the two.

Jasper and Beth sat at a table, both of them not talking. Beth was staring at her ring as Jasper tried to get the cuffs off his hand, struggling to do so. Beth's dagger sat in front of her, placed on the table as Bellamy walks up to the two. Jasper sighs. "You okay with her coming back after all this time? Taking over?" Jasper asks Bellamy.

"She's trying to save Raven." Bellamy says to him.

"Guess she thinks Raven's worth saving." Jasper says. He looks over to Bellamy. "Lucky for her."

Bellamy looks at the red head before looking back at Jasper. "Just get yourself together, Jasper. You can't let your anger get in the way with what we have to do." Beth scoffs at the mans words. 

"Like you did when you massacred a grounder army sent to protect us after one of them from ice nation killed your girlfriend?" Beth asks the man. "You were barely devoted to her." She mutters.

Jasper nods, agreeing with Beth. "You know, that's funny, coming from you." Jasper says as Niylah walks in from behind them. Beth notices the girl but doesn't say anything, wanting her to know the truth. "When you're angry, people die. Just ask Beth and that girl over there." Jasper says before walking away. Bellamy looks at Beth and Niylah. Niylah lights a candle before walking away.

"He's not wrong, you know?" Beth says from her seat a few feet from where Bellamy stood. "People die when you get angry. Monroe, Mount Weather, Monty almost died, same with my father and Sinclair. Lincoln died. All because you were angry." She says to him.

Bellamy sighs. "What do you want me to say, Beth? I have apologized a million times! I'm sorry! I am so sorry Pike killed Lincoln." He says to her. 

Beth shakes her head. "But you don't mean it." She says to him. Her voice not as angry sounding as before. She was still angry but she was tired of fighting. "If it was any other grounder you wouldn't be apologizing. You're only apologizing because I'm here." She says to him, shaking her head. "The love of my life, my fiance. He's dead. And it's your fault and I can't do anything about it because you are my best friends brother. I kill you and I lose my best friend." Beth looks at the fire. "You know he once told me that you were a good man. You saved people. Even after you tortured him, he still believed you were good. I used to believe that too, but these last few weeks. You're nothing but a monster." She says to him before walking out of the room.

Beth was now back in the room with Clarke, Jasper and Bellamy. Jasper was still trying to get the cuff off as Bellamy was wrapping Clarke's arm. Beth sat by the fire, staring into it, the depressed look back in her eyes.

"I let her get to me." She hears Clarke say to Bellamy.

"You don't say." Bellamy replies. "Take a break, I'll let her beat me up for a while." He says to her. Beth scoffs quietly, shaking her head as Bellamy left the room.

It goes quiet for a moment before Jasper speaks. "Truth hurts, huh?" Jasper asks Clarke, suddenly gaining her attention. She turns and looks at him as he looks at her. Beth doesn't move her gaze from the fire as it goes quiet again and Clarke moves closer to Jasper.

"I'm sorry." Clarke says to the boy.

Beth shakes her head. Saying sorry to a loved one to someone you killed, doesn't help. In Beth's case, it makes her even more angry. 

"What?" Jasper asks the 

"I never wanted to hurt Maya. I never wanted any of this." Clarke says, clearly torn up by the things she's done. The only reason Beth didn't hate Clarke was because she knew Clarke felt bad. Bellamy on the other hand, no matter how many times he's said sorry, he's never truly meant it. He believed what he did was right. "I had to save our people." Clarke says to Jasper.

Jasper looks at the blonde. "I was going to save everyone."

"I wish you could've." Clarke says, her voice breaking as she spoke. 

"Shove your regret up your ass." Jasper says and pushes past her, his shoulder hitting her's as he walks by, making her stumble out of the way.

Beth looks over to the blonde. "He's hurting. It's still like an open wound to him." Beth says to her. "It is for all of us." She whispers, Clarke not hearing the last part. Clarke walks out of the room as Beth looks back over to the fire, her thoughts consuming her.

As Beth stared at the fire, she reaches over, putting her hand on top of it, letting it burn for a few moments. She lets out a strangled sob and pulls her hand away. Tears falling down her face, she gets up, walking over to the table Clarke had other bandages at. 

After she wraps her hand up with the bandage, she looks up to the ceiling, letting out a heart broken yet angry scream as tears fell down her face. Clarke rushes into the room, Niylah soon following. The two see Beth standing there, her eyes closed as tears fell down her face. Clarke looks at Niylah, who nods. Clarke hesitantly nods before leaving Niylah with Beth.

"Ai get in chit em 's like gon drop of bida Won Yu hod in." Niylah says to the redheaded girl. 

Beth shakes her head. "Ai don drop of Ai nomon, Ai bro, Ai could drop of Ai nontu, Reivon. Ai don drop of - Ai don drop of Ai fiance. Hod in kom Ai life ste dead."

Niylah walks over to Beth, putting her hands on her shoulders. "Em na kom au easier. Em jos takes gou."

"Ai nou yu don eni gou." Beth says, tears still falling down her face.

Niylah gives the girl a confused look. "Chit dula op Yu mean?"

Beth goes to reply but is cut off by hearing Raven's voice. "Don't worry. Gina was already dead when Mount Weather blew up. And you avenged her, right? I mean, you pick up a gun and slaughtered an army that was sent to protect us." Niylah looks at Beth. Beth sighs as she runs her not hurt hand, through her hair. "That had nothing to do with blowing sweet Gina to bits." Niylah storms out of the room. "You got Lincoln killed, Beth's fiance. Poor Beth has lost everyone. It's only a matter of time before she kills you and loses herself." Beth's breathing hitches before she follows Niylah into the room, Jasper and Clarke rushing after. "But, hey, a Grounder's a Grounder, right? Right?" Raven asks as Niylah enters the room.

"My father..." Niylah begins as Alie looks at the girl.

Bellamy stands from his chair as Beth rushes into the room. "Niylah..."

"You killed him." Niylah punches Bellamy in the face. 

Clarke and Jasper rush into the room. "Niylah. Niylah. You can't be in here." Clarke says trying to drag the woman from the room.

"It's to late." Jasper says to them. "Raven's already seen her. Alie knows we're here." Bellamy grabs his jacket, leaving the room.

"Good work Raven." Alie says to Raven. "Help is on the way."

Beth looks at Raven and leaves the room.

Beth walks outside with Jasper as Niylah walks inside and the rover pulls up.

Monty walks straight past them, not saying a word. Beth looks at Octavia. "What the hell happened?" She asks the brunette girl. Octavia looks at Monty as he walks away then to Jasper and Beth. "Whatever. We'll talk later. Let's go." Beth says and quickly follows Monty into the shack.

Sinclair and Monty walk into the room with Raven and Clarke, Beth quickly following them. "Everyone, let's go." Sinclair says to them. "All we have to do is connect her and activate the elecromagnet." He tells them. Beth nods. Everybody starts connecting the devices to Raven. 

Beth starts to help Octavia and Monty tie the Reyes girl's hands. "Their design is good." Alie says to Raven. Raven slips her hand from Beth's grasp, pushing the girl away. 

"Hold her arm still!" Sinclair says to her.

"Raven!" Clarke exclaims.

"I won't be able to get here before they disconnect you." Alie tells the Reyes girl.

"Hold her still!" Sinclair says, walking closer with the bracelet. "Raven." He says as she continues to try and fight them.

"You know to much." Alie tells the almost 19 year old girl. Raven pushes Beth off of her, causing Beth to almost fall. Jasper grabs the girl, helping her up. Beth mutters a thanks before going back to help. "I can't let them have you." Alie says to Raven. 

Beth struggles to grab her arm as Raven keeps trying to break away. "Raven, you're bleeding! Stop it!" She yells. The Reyes girl starts banging her head against the metal bed post. "Raven! Stop!" Beth yells. 

"She's trying to kill herself." Bellamy says and rushes forward.

Beth sighs, as she watches her friends try and stop Raven from killing herself. "Stop!" Beth yells loudly, causing them to look at her. "I know where the third AI is." Raven suddenly stops banging her head.

Clarke pulls out the flame from her pocket, holding it in her hand. "You'll get this one too, if you stop." Bellamy takes the distraction as a chance to cuff the girl. He takes the wristband from Sinclair, and puts it on Raven, who starts screaming again.

"No, you lied! You lied!" Raven yells but Beth wasn't sure to who. Sinclair gets the cords as Raven looks at him. "No! No, please, don't. The EMP will give me brain damage." Raven tells them. Beth runs a hand through her hair, closing her eyes, sighing before looking back at Raven. "You know it will! Please, don't do this!" Raven looks at Beth. "Please, Beth, don't let them do this. I don't wanna die."

Octavia looks at Sinclair and Beth. "Don't listen to her." She tells the two.

"Please, you know it will!" Raven yells. "Sinclair, stop!" She yells, her voice almost making Beth believe it was her. Almost. Beth walks over and hold's Raven's head back, letting Octavia move her arm. "Beth, please."

"You'll be okay, Rave." Beth says to her, hoping that this could work. Hoping that they would save the girl Beth has thought of as a sister since they were children, way before they were sent to the ground.

Sinclair looks at Raven and then to the group, still trying to connect Raven to the wirings. "We've only got one shot at this. EMP will fry the wristband, too."

"Do it." Bellamy says to the man.

"Okay!" Sinclair says. "Got it!"

"Go!" Monty says quickly as Raven yells. "No!"

Sinclair turns the device on. Static eletric noises run through it, almost working. "What's happening?" Jasper asks the man.

"Nothing, we need more power." Sinclair says as he looks at the device. "The battery's not strong enough."

"Well, then get one that is!" Clarke exclaims.

Beth looks towards the door, looking back at the group. "The rover." She says. "Sinclair, hold her! Bellamy, Monty get the battery!" She yells quickly. Bellamy and Monty rush out of the room as the group struggles to hold Raven. Beth sighs, as she still held Raven's head back with the help of Octavia.

They all hear a gunshot, looking to the door. They quickly rush back in with the battery. "It's okay. Here they come. Switch." Sinclair says, the two run into the room as Raven was shouting.

"Guys! We have to move now!" Bellamy yells as Monty rushes the battery to the bed. "Move!" He yells as Monty was quickly trying to connect the cables.

Monty hits the button sending the electromagnet currents into Raven, causing her to scream. Beth looks down, closing her eyes, still holding the girl. Raven stops screaming, passing out. Clarke checks her pulse as the others watch, nervously. "She's breathing." Beth lets out a sigh of relief. "Raven?" Clarke says, shaking the girl lightly.

Beth leans down, grabbing Raven's arm in hers. "Come on, Rae." She says.

"Come on, come on. Raven, wake up." Clarke says, shaking the girl.

Beth sighs. "Wake up Rae!" Beth says. Beth's voice breaks slightly. "Come on, Rae, please."

Clarke grabs the girls face. "Come on, Raven. Wake up. Please." She says.

Jasper looks at Clarke's jacket, seeing the flame box. He quickly grabs it making Clarke turn to him. Beth stands quickly, her eyes widen as Jasper has a crow bar with him and rushes to the table.

"What are you doing?" Clarke asks as she tries to get it back. 

"Don't move!" Jasper yells, placing the flame on the table. Beth moves quickly, touching the back of her neck.

"Jas! Don't!" Beth yells to him.

"No! You can't!" Clarke yells. "No, give it back!" Clarke exclaims.

"Jasper give it back!" Beth yells, not wanting Lexa's spirit to be broken by Jasper.

"Alie did that to Raven!" He yells at the two girls. "She's never gonna get this!" He yells and as he's about to hit it the two girls yell.

"Stop! It's Lexa!" Everyone looks at Clarke and Beth. Everything stops as they look confused at the two girls.

"Jasper please, stop." Beth says. "Part of her is still in there." Beth tells him. She moves her hair away from her neck. "Please! Just like if I die. A part of me will be in the one that's in my neck." They all look at Beth confused. She turns and shows them the scar on her neck. "That is part of the Commander's spirit, just like how the one in my neck is apart of my spirit."

"I saw them cut it out of her head, just like how they put it in Beth." Clarke says, her voice almost breaking as she explains. "We're not..." Clarke pants as tears well in Beth's eyes. Clarke slowly turns slightly, stopping herself from talking, thinking. 

"What is it?" Bellamy asks as he walks closer to the group.

Clarke turns to the group. "All three of the AI's were made by the same person." She says to the group. "All three tap into human consciousness." She looks around at the group. "They must work similarly, right?" She asks the group.

"Well, there's probably only one pathway to consciousness, so it's possible, yeah." Sinclair answers.

"What does this have to do with anything?" Octavia asks the group, confussed.

"I've seen an AI removed. I had one placed in me." Beth says to them. Beth goes over to Raven's side. "Help me get her on her side." Beth says to the group. Bellamy, Octavia and Sinclair help untie the girl and move her on her side. "Jasper get Clarke's med kit from her bag." Beth tells him. He rushes to get it as Sinclair looks at her.

"What are you doing?" He asks her.

"I'm removing the AI." Beth answers.

Clarke sighs. "I can do it, if you want." Beth shakes her head.

"I can do it." Beth says. They move Raven on her side and Beth moves the girl's hair and necklace. Beth grabs the kit from Jasper, opening it and grabbing a scaple. She takes a deep breath before moving closer to Raven and slicing the back of her neck in the same spot on her own neck was cut. Blood starts coming out of the cut as Beth puts a cloth underneath it. "This has to work. Please work." Beth whispers to herself.

The group watches Beth as a silverish goo comes from Raven's cut. "Ohh." Beth mutters as it falls onto the cloth.

"What is that?" Bellamy asks the girl. Beth looks at Clarke before looking back at the cut.

"It must be whatevers left of the chip." Sinclair says to them. Beth nods.

Raven slowly starts coughing. "Thank god." Beth mutters. Raven moves onto her back with the help of them as Beth sighs in relief. 

"Ow." Raven says, touching the cut on her neck. 

Sinclair and Beth along with Octavia help the girl up. "Get her up. Come on."

"I never thought I'd be so happy to see someone in pain." Octavia says. Beth lets out a quiet laugh as Raven laughs before saying ow again.

Monty walks away a little. "I could have saved my mom." He says.

Beth looks at him, confusion in her eyes. "Oh my god." She mutters, realizing why he and Octavia came back acting differently. 

Jasper walks over to Monty, putting a hand on Monty's shoulder. "Hey." 

"Get the hell away from me." Monty says to him, turning to face Jasper. Monty rushes out of the room.

Beth sighs, looking down. She may not have been a big fan of Hannah Green since they found Farm Station, but she grew up with the woman. The woman was always nice to her when they were on the Ark.

"Alie knows we're here." Bellamy says to the group. Beth nods. "We gotta move." Bellamy leaves the room, Jasper following as Beth, Octavia and Sinclair help Raven. Clarke puts the flame back into it's box.

Sinclair carries Raven out of the room, following Bellamy out. Jasper, Octavia and Clarke behind them. Beth walks out of the room to where they pasted Niylah, she puts down a light as Clarke looks back at her. Niylah looks at Beth. "Gon bakkova." Beth says to Niylah. She taps the light and Niylah nods. Beth turns off the light, looking at Clarke then back to Niylah. "Thank you for letting us be here. It saved her life." 

Niylah gives her a nod. "Yu laik Heda Leksa's Seken. Ai na help Yu taim Yu ever gaf em." Niylah tells her. 

Beth nods. "Chof, Niylah." Beth says then leaves the room. She catches up with Octavia, handing the girl a new shirt. "You have blood all on yours." Beth says. Octavia nods, giving the girl a small smile.

Beth held onto Raven as Sinclair helped move the Rover backwards. "Okay, good." Sinclair says, holding his hand up.

Beth and Sinclair helps Raven walk to the Rover. "You really okay?" He asks her.

Raven looks at Jasper who was helping her as well. "I'm so sorry for all the crap I said." Raven tells the Jordan boy.

"And for punching me in the face, right?" He asks her. Beth lets out a quiet laugh.

"No." Raven answers. "You definitly deserved it." She tells the boy. Beth shakes her head, a faint smile on her lips. She was happy Raven was okay. Beth didn't want to lose anyone else.

Sinclair and Jasper help Raven into the rover. "Watch out. Here, step on it." He says, helping her up as Clarke walks over.

"Hey." Clarke says to Raven. "There's one thing I don't understand." Clarke tells the girl. "Why did Alie want you to kill yourself?" Clarke asks the girl.

Raven looks down before looking back at Clarke. "Because I know why she wants the second and third AI."

"Why?" Bellamy asks the girl.

"Those are the only things that can stop her. All three AI's together can stop her." Raven says to them.

Beth nods and Octavia speaks. "Then let's stop her."

"We survive together." Beth says to them. They all look at Beth. Beth looks at Clarke who nods. And then she looks at Bellamy, flashes of Lincoln's death playing in her mind, Bellamy nods at her. Beth walks away to the front passenger seat of the rover, getting in. Octavia and the rest of the group get inside, Sinclair driving as Monty closed the door.

Beth stares out the window, tears falling down her face as she thought about everthing that was going on. She was scared for her fathers life, for her friends. She was upset about the ones who were killed. She was heartbroken about Lincoln and that he would never be able to see the world again. A part of her hoped that somehow he wasn't gone, but she knew that he couldn't have survived and that broke her even more.

6646 words besides the authors note. OMG guys I'm tired. This is like the longest chapter in this book (probably the whole series). What did you guys all think? I wanna know your thoughts. It showed a lot of how Beth has been feeling with everything going on, and I really wanna go more into it all. And before you all go on about there only being 2 AI's, I know. I made the third one because of something I'm planning in the rest of this season. So, Beth has an AI on her neck. Do you guys have any questions or anything?
