Wanheda Part 1

Bellamy's Voice Over: "We were born in space. They told us the ground was uninhabited. But they were wrong. And we've been fighting for our lives since the moment we landed. Some of us have been broken by it. But most of us are still here, searching for survivors from the Ark, trying to build something real and lasting out the wilderness. A home. Our leaders believe that, to survive, we need to make peace with the grounders. But peace is a foreign concept here."

Arkadia

Beth's POV

I stood with Harper, Monroe and a few others watching Lincoln and Bellamy train.

Lincoln easily knocks Bellamy to the ground. I smirk.

"He had me, but he was too aggressive." Lincoln says.

"Whatever you say." Bellamy says to him.

"Quitting so soon?" Lincoln asks him.

"Mapping run. Sector 7. Harper, Beth, let's get this over with." Bellamy says. I toss Lincoln a Guard jacket as Harper throws Kai a jacket. "The Council wants you both to have them."

"We're Trikru." Lincoln says to him about him and Kai.

"A uniform doesn't change that. This is our home now, Lincoln. We fought for it. Too many of our friends died for it. On the Ark, the uniform meant something different. Down here, it means what we make it mean. Together." Bellamy says to the two. "My sister will understand that eventually." Bellamy tells Kai, who nods.

"Pair up and fight now." Lincoln says. He looks at me and Bellamy. "Hey. Sector 7? That puts you right at the Ice Nation Border."

"I know." I say to him.

"Just because Azgeda is part of the Commander's Coalition doesn't mean they respect the ceasefire. I should be on that scout." Lincoln says to us.

"I wish. We all do. But until the Commander agrees to lift the kill order on you, you're more trouble than you're worth." I say to him. He nods at me.

I was standing in Lincoln and I's room. "I'll be back soon." I say to him.

"I know." He says to him. I walk over to him, leaning up, kissing him.

"I love you." I whisper to him.

He smiles down at me before kissing me again. "I love you too." He says once we pull away.

Octavia and I were on our horses as Bellamy, Raven, Miller, Monty and Jasper were in the rover, about to leave Arkadia. 

"Try and keep up." I say to them, laughing lightly as Octavia and I make our horses go in front of them, leaving camp.

After a few minutes, half of Jasper's body is out of the rover at the top, looking happy. Octavia and I were on either side of the rover, laughing with him.

The rover stopped, causing Octavia and I to look over at each other, confused.

Octavia opens the door to the rover.

"Don't tell me we missed the party." Octavia says to them.

Sector 8." Monty says to us.

"That's Ice Nation." Miller adds.

"What about it? Protocol says we go home. Let the Chancellor decide what to do next." I say to them, not wanting anything to happen.

"Screw protocol. The Chancellor's not from Farm Station, Monty is so is Miller's boyfriend. It's your call." Bellamy says, looking to Monty and Miller.

"Let's do this." Monty says.You have to ask?" Miller says. 

"Try to keep up." Bellamy says to Octavia and I. The rover starts up again and Octavia and I remount our horses, riding ahead.

These woods must be the border." Bellamy says as we stop at the border.

"So, where's all the ice?" jasper asks.

"Way farther north, Azgeda stretches for 1,000 miles." I say to all of them.

"Good thing we only have to go 200 meters." Monty comments.

"Slow down. Remember rules of engagement are non-lethal force. Tight formation on my command. Raven, you stay in the rover."  Bellamy says to us.

"Yeah right." Raven says.

"We need every gun we've got.

"They're coming. 120 meters. 110. They're our people what are-?"

"We hope they're our people. On my command." Bellamy says as Three Ice Nation Scouts arrive on horseback.

"Ice Nation?" Bellamy asks.

"Yes. White war paint. Stay calm." Octavia tells them.

"Who are you?"

Skaikru, looking for our people." Octavia says.

"Looking for Wanheda." The scout says.

"They think we're looking for Wanheda." I tell them.

"Who's that?" Bellamy asks.

"We have no idea." I tell him.

"The light. That's the beacon." Monty says to us.

Jasper crosses over towards the beacon.

"Hey. Get back here." Bellamy says to the Jordan boy.

"Jasper wait-" Monty starts

"What're you doing?" Raven asks him.

"Jasper!" Octavia and I both say.

"It's ok I got this." Jasper says.

"Tell them we observe the commander's truce, do it now!" Bellamy says to Octavia and I

"This belongs to us." Jasper says, grabbing the beacon before I could speak.

The Ice Nation Scout pulls a knife to his throat.

"Where's Wanheda?" The Scout says in Trigedasleng.

"Let him go!" Bellamy yells.

"Ai laik dol seken to Heda Lexa." I say to them. The scout holding Jasper looks over at me.

"Beth Kom Skaikru." He says. I nod.

"We don't know who Wanheda is. Please! We can help each other!" Octavia says.

"You think this is funny?" He asks before he cuts Jasper, causing Miller, Raven, and Monty all shoot the Ice Nation Scouts.

"Hold your fire!" Bellamy yells.

"Jasper, get down!" I yell as I throw a knife into the last scout, killing him.

"Rover 1, come in. Repeat, Rover 1, come in." I hear my father sat over the radio.

"What now?" Bellamy asks him.

"Where are you?" My father asks.

"I had him." Jasper says.

"What the hell were you thinking?" Monty asks him.

"We got the beacon didn't we?" Jasper asks Monty.

"Yeah but where did they get it?" Monty asks.

"He needs to get to medical." Octavia says about Jasper.

"We had to shoot three Ice Nation Scouts. Culvert, Sector 4. Copy. Can you tell me what's going on?" Bellamy says into the radio.

"When you get here. Over and out." Dad says.

"Sector 4? Why's Kane so far outside the wall?" Raven asks.

"Take him home!" Bellamy exclaims.

"I'm fine, thank you for asking." Jasper says.

"Miller!" Bellamy says.

"Yeah."

"Get one of their horses. Raven said you can't ride, you're on the back. Monty, you're with me. Let's go." Bellamy says.

"Okay." Monty says.

I get on my horse as Octavia and Jasper get on hers, and Raven and Miller get on one of the scout's.

I was back at Arkadia with the horse, putting her back into the stall we had for them.

"Hey Helios, how's our girl doing?" Lincoln asks in Trigedasleng, to the horse as he pet it.

I smile at him. "I'm fine." I say to him. "How's Kai?" I ask, knowing Octavia wasn't to keen on him getting all used to Arkadia.

"He's talking to her now." Lincoln says. I nod, going back to grooming Helios.

"Good." I say.

"When are you meeting with the Commander?" He asks me.

I turn to him. "Not till tomorrow."

He nods. "You hear anything about Clarke?" He asks.

"No, we didn't find her. Ice Nation Scouts said something about Wanheda but we don't know who that is." I tell him.

"Wanheda, commander of death." Lincoln says. I nod, sitting down. "Could it be her?"

"It's possible. Wanheda showed up about a month after Clarke left." I say. He nods.

"You okay?" He asks.

I look at him. "I'm with you. I'll always be fine." He smiles before kissing me.

"He tackled Macallan?" I ask Raven as I sat at the bar. 

"Jasper was pissed he was using the piano, came right up and tackled him." She tells me. I sigh.

"It's because of Maya." I say.

"It's because Bellamy and Clarke killed a mountain full of people and now we're using their stuff." She says.

"We would all be dead if they hadn't done what they did." I tell her.

"I know." She says.

"I need a damn drink." I mutter. She smirks as=nd pours me a glass of some alcohol. "Thank you." I say to her before taking a sip.

"You meet with Lexa tomorrow?" She asks.

"Yes, I have to go to Polis, supposed to train more tomorrow." I say. She nods.

"Be safe out there." She tells me. I smile at Raven.

"I'll be fine. You cant get rid of me that easily Raven. I'm your best friend, I'm not going anywhere." I tell her. She smiles at me.

"You'll never lose me either." She says. The two of us lock pinky's before letting go. She gives me one last smile, which I return, before she walks away.

"You know, he keeps doing shit like this I'm going to punch him in the face." I say to Abby as she walked up to me.

"He'll calm down soon." She tells me.

"You said that last month, and the month before." I tell her. She sighs. "I know, he needs time. He lost his first love. I don't know what I'd do if I lost Lincoln." I say.

"And hopefully you will never have to endure that. It's not a good feeling." She tells me. "Go get some rest, you have a long ride tomorrow." I nod at her.

"I'm happy for you and my dad by the way, I don't know if I ever told you guys that." I say to her. She smiles at me before I walk away.

"He rammed right into him." I tell Lincoln as we were laying on our bed.

"He'll be okay. He needs time to heal." Lincoln tells me.

I nod. "I just hate seeing him like this." I say to Lincoln.

"I know." He says.

I look up at him. "I never want to lose you."

"And you never will. I'll always be there with you." He says to me.

I smile at him before kissing him.
