Chapter 5

Back in Bill's house, it was complete silence inside. Bill nor Ted has said a word after what both of them have witnessed. It was a true nightmare to Ted. It was something he will never forget for the rest of his life. Bill remembered he picked up a letter from the coat of Ted's father. He reaches inside his pocket and pulls out the envelope. Another anonymous letter. 'First the package, now the letter?' Bill thought. 'This is a total Sherlock Holmes mystery.' He looks at Ted and asks, "hey uh...Ted? I still have the package you and I are still figuring out. Maybe now's the time to open it. What do you say?" No words has came out from Ted. Only silence is heard. Bill stood up and went upstairs to his room to grab the mysterious package. Once he enters his room, he jumps on his bed and reaches to the top shelf to grab the package. He turns and jumps in fear as he saw Ted sitting on the edge of his bed. "Ted. Don't scare me like that dude." Nothing said from Ted. Bill sighs and sits next to him. He placed his hand on Ted's shoulder and looks at him. "You really want to kill yourself. I understand but Ted, like I said, it's going to lead you to nowhere." He looks down with a silent sigh. "Trust me." Ted slowly turned to Bill, hearing the last words quietly made him wonder. "Someone committed suicide?" Ted asked softly. Bill nods his head slowly and said, "my cousin, Hannah. She died at the age of 15 because of the way she was treated. She was bullied, physically abused, beaten up. Her parents didn't do shit and left her unsafe. She took pills and hung herself in the attic at night with a note, 'hope you're happy about this. You will feel regrettably forever.' " Ted was in shock. A 15 year old took pills and hung herself? "I saw her scars in her arm. She even tried to open up her vein because one scar was stitched." Ted felt chills running down through his spine. He couldn't picture himself trying to open his vein. He hugged Bill by the side and said, "I'm sorry Bill. I didn't mean to cause this. All of this suicide talk." "Its...alright Ted. You're just lost because of your dad. We all get shocked results from different experiences," said Bill. As Ted lets go of Bill to look at him, he looks at the letter and the package. "Speaking of shock, lets see what's in the package," said Ted. Bill nods and opens up the mysterious package. Both were in shock as Bill pulls out a small tube of liquid with a photo of a skull on the tube. "What is that?" asked Ted. Bill shook his head and answered, "I don't know." Ted grabs the mysterious red envelope but saw something stained through the envelope. As he opens it, to his shock, he pulls out a bloody razor blade and a note, saying, "we all have to wake up somehow." Both Bill and Ted were not only in shock, but fear and sick. Another note was found in the package Bill opened as it read, "this is what happens when you drink too much." Bill and Ted looks at the tube of liquid and finds out the liquid was poison. They couldn't believe it. "Ted. This poison poisoned your father. That's what must've been in his glass," said Bill. Ted felt rage and anger in his system. He clenched his fist until his knuckles turned white as Bill immediately said, "hold on Ted. Don't go Hulk right now. What about the razor blade? Take a look." As Ted un-clenches his fists, he shows Bill the letter, which was stained red and looks at the razor blade. "Its fresh dude," said Ted. "Who could've killed my father?" Bill shrugs. "I don't know Ted but when I picked up the letter from your dad's coat, I didn't see blood anywhere. He was clean from top to bottom." Ted scratched his head in confusion. "This is like a mystery of Sherlock Holmes," said Ted. Bill nods in agreement. "If we're going to solve this case, that would mean we need to pick up the real Sherlock Holmes." Ted looks at Bill and asked, "Time Travel?" "Time Travel," Bill answered with a game face. They both riff an air guitar with excellence and runs out of the room, rush down the stairs and exits outside of the house as they ran towards the phone booth. "Do you think the phone booth still works Bill?" asks Ted. "Well, why don't we find out right now?" answered Bill as he dials both the glowing star and pound keys together. The antenna lifts up on top of the phone booth as it disappears from San Dimas into the Circuits of Time.

As Bill and Ted are gone, evil Bill and Ted stood where the phone booth was as evil Ted said, "now that those two idiots are gone, what's the plan Bill?" Evil Bill looks at Evil Ted and answers, "simple. We trash Bill's room, wreak everything in the house and maybe seduce Missy once she is alone." Both Evil Bill and Ted smirked with a chuckle as they riff an air guitar and walks into Bill's home.
