Chapter 11
It was 2:47 pm on a Saturday afternoon as Evil Bill and Evil Ted took Marilyn to an abandon area no one can enter. Locals say it is the most dangerous area filled with dark secrets that cannot be revealed to anyone, not even to the Wyld Stallyns but evil Bill and Ted don't care. As evil Bill stopped the car and looks behind to see Marilyn's unconscious body lying at the backseat. Evil Bill and Ted steps out of the car, Ted opens the backseat door and grabs Marilyn's body from the waist, dragging her out and holding her in his arms. Evil Ted looks at Evil Bill and said, "I feel like we're going to do a sacrifice." Evil Bill looks at Ted and rolls his eyes. "Let's just focus on the plan dude. We need her as bait to lure Bill and Ted so we can kill them." "What about her?" asked Ted, still holding Marilyn in his arms. Bill looks at Marilyn and back at Ted, "sorry Ted but we have to kill her as well." Ted was surprised at Bill but shrugs it off. "Wow," Ted said, "we are full on murderers." Evil Bill and Ted entered an abandoned building that once was a hospital but now, it is part of a historic and dark event.
Back with the real Bill and Ted, Bill and Ted were heading to Bill's house to take the Wyld Stallyns van. Bill looks at Ted and said, "I'll be right back dude." Ted gave Bill a nod as Bill jogs towards inside. Just as Ted was about to lean his back on the van, he heard, "TED!!!!!!!!!" Ted rushed inside to check on Bill but saw destruction inside the house. "Dude," said Ted, "you were robbed." Bill was in fear and clenched his fist in anger. He walks up the stairs to his room, leaving Ted by himself in the living room. As he was about to follow Bill, he stepped on a piece of glass and looks down for a second. He bends on one knee carefully, not wanting to cut himself from the glass, and picks up a photo frame. He shakes off the remaining of the glass and looks at the photo. The photo showed Bill sitting on a concrete wall, looking into the distance of what remains of the sunset falling into the ocean. He wondered what Bill was thinking in that picture. As he looks up, he noticed Bill standing on the stairs. His head was looking down, making Ted not looking at his face of anger and fear. Ted looked at Bill's left hand to see he was holding a baseball bat. Bill walked down the stairs and starts to walk out the door but Ted stopped him. "Dude," said Ted, "This is totally not you." Bill didn't lift his head to look at Ted but his corner eyes were giving Ted a glare of the dead. "Get...away...from...me..." spoke Bill angrily as he shoves Ted to the side, opens the door and walks out. Ted chased after Bill while Bill walks towards the van, holding the metal baseball bat in both of his hands, ready to strike. Ted's eyes turned widen and immediately runs towards Bill but stops in front of him. "Bill," said Ted, "snap out of it dude!" Bill ignored Ted and walk passed him. He lifts the bat and swings it hard, breaking the mirror of the passenger's side of the car. He continued to smash the car while Ted watched in fear and tears. The car was crumbled on the sides, glass windows were broken open. The van was ruined. Bill walks up to the hood, pops it open and looks at the engine. He lifts up the bat and just as he was about to hit the engine, Ted immediately runs towards Bill and stops the bat from hitting the engine. Bill and Ted began to push the bat with all their might. "Let go Ted, "said Bill. "Make me Bill!" said Ted. Bill looks at Ted with anger, losing his grip and lets Ted let go of the bat. They looked at each other, breathing heavily. Just as Ted was about to say something, Bill smacked Ted in the face with the bat. Ted fell to the floor, grunting in pain. He looks at the floor, seeing drips of blood falling to the concrete. He wipes his mouth with the back of his hand to see blood coming out. He slowly stands up, looking at Bill with fear but Bill was much angrier than before. Bill breathed heavily, looking at Ted dead in the eyes. Ted couldn't believe his own excellent friend actually hit his friend. "You broke into my house you fucking son of a bitch!" yelled Bill, "You destroyed everything!" Ted spits out blood on the side and looks at Bill, yelling, "Why would I even destroy everything dude?! I was with you the whole entire time!" Bill breathed heavily with anger. "Don't give me that type of shit! You ran away from the time your father got killed! You came to my house! Fucking ruined everything! You even broke my guitar you asshole!" Ted's eyes widened, spitting out blood again, "Why would I break your guitar dude?! Yes I ran away when I saw my father's dead body but I did not run to your house! I swear!" Bill looked away, sighs heavily with a scoff. "You know," Bill said, "I wish you would've killed yourself in the first place! That way we wouldn't be fighting! My life would've been way easier if you weren't here! Missy wouldn't be my step-mom and my REAL mom would still be here! I can finally be with a real family but thanks to you! Everything is now ruined!" Ted was hurt. He clenched his fist with anger, gritting his teeth and runs up to Bill, punching him hard in the face. Bill backed up after he got punched. He looks at blood dripping out of his mouth into the palm of his hands. He looks up at Ted, seeing the anger in his eyes. Bill grits his teeth and starts to swing his bat at Ted, striking him on the ribs. As the two dudes were fighting, rain began to fall from sprinkles to pouring. Thunder began to strike from the background of the fight. Bill strikes Ted's back, making him fall to his knees. Once Ted turns his back as he lies on the concrete floor, Bill went on top of Ted, falling to his knees and looks into his eyes with anger. He throws the bat to side, place both of his hands around Ted's neck and starts to choke him. Ted placed his hands on top of Bill's hands, trying to let him go but Bill's grip was so strong. Ted tried to struggle free while saying, "Bill...please..." Bill didn't listen to Ted as he gripped his neck hard. Ted began to turn weak with tears falling in his eyes. He looks up at the pouring sky, feeling the rain hitting on his face as he tries to find the words before his last breath, "I-I-In time...e-e-ever-r-rything will be a-a-alr-r-righ-gh-gh-ght." Bill's eyes slowly turn wide once he heard Ted. He immediately lets go of Ted's neck, making Ted gasped for air and coughs. Bill looks at his hands, shaking in fear and looks back at Ted. Ted slowly sits up as they come face to face but Bill immediately backs up until his back was hit against the van. Bill hugs his knees close to chest, shaking in fear while the rain continued to pour, hitting on both Bill and Ted. Ted crawled towards Bill, making Bill want to back up more but couldn't since his back was on the car. Ted looked into Bill's eyes as Bill tried to look away but looks into Ted's eyes. Both of them were in serious pain. Cuts, bruises, torn pieces of clothing, a couple of bones broken, scratches and mostly soaked from all of the rain. As Ted was about to speak, Bill whispered, "Y-you heard the song I wrote." Ted blinked for a moment and nod at Bill, "Yea. I did. I also read the lyrics that fell from your sweater while you were asleep." Bill shook his head slowly in confusion, wondering why. "I thought," Ted spoke gently, "it was a sad song but I realized it was a love song dude." Bill asked, "Is it bad?" Ted shook his head slowly with a smile, "no Bill. It is stellar." Bill smiled while both looked into each other's eyes. While the rain continued to fall, Ted helped Bill up from the floor, grabbing his hand and pulling him up slowly. Bill winced in pain once he got up, thanks to the help from Ted, and looks at the damage he did to the van. He felt so stupid to damage the van and looks at Ted. Ted looks at Bill, seeing the marks from the fight and said, "at least the engine is not busted." Bill smiled softly, "you got a point Ted." He slowly limps towards the engine and close the hood. "Let's find the evil uses and get Marilyn back," said Bill as Ted opens the car door and enters. Ted nods in agreement and looks at Bill, wondering if he feels guilty for ruining the car and trying to kill his own excellent friend. Bill pulls out the keys, inserts them into the ignition, turns it on and begins to drive. While on the road, Bill said, "I'm sorry that I thought you ruined my house and almost try to kill you." Ted looks down, shuffling his feet, "did you really mean the words you said? You wanted me to kill myself?" Bill's eyes turned immediately widen, not wanting to think about Ted trying to kill himself but it was too late. Flashbacks began to play in Bill's head as he thought about the nightmares of his own friend committing suicide in different ways. Tears began to form into his eyes as he parks the car on the side of the curb and placed his head on the wheel, beginning to cry. Ted heard the pain of his friend, feeling guilty to bring up the question. "It's my entire fault," said Bill, looking at the car monitor, "I didn't save you Ted. I'm a murderer." Ted shook his head, "no Bill. Just because you almost killed me does not make you a murderer." Bill lifts up his head and looks at Ted, straight into the eye. "Did you even hear yourself Ted?" asked Bill, "I almost killed you. Me! Not anyone else! Just me! Do you think I like the life I live in? For fuck sakes Ted, I'm about to move next week and yet everything is going to ruin my life before I leave." Ted's eyes widen slowly. "Y-You're moving?" asked Ted softly. Bill looks away for a second and answered, "Yes. I'm moving next week." "Where?" asked Ted. "I'm moving to San Francisco," answered Bill. Is Ted hearing this correctly? His friend, his lifetime partner, is moving to Northern California for no reason next week. First, evil Bill and Ted are ruining their lives, then the real Bill and Ted got into a heinous fight, and now Bill is moving next week? Ted's head began to hurt from the pain. Bill felt the same feeling and said, "let's just focus on finding our evil selves." Ted nods in agreement as Bill continues to drive. Night began to rise and the pouring rain finally stopped. Bill and Ted noticed a similar car was parked on the side of an abandoned hospital. Bill pressed the brakes slowly in front of another car and parks the van. Bill and Ted looks in front of the hospital as Ted said, "why would they be in here?" Bill shrugs and both duos get off the car, still in pain. Both began to walk towards the hospital, passing the car filled with dust like it hasn't been used for so long. Bill and Ted stood in front of the hospital, looking at the entrance and noticed a faint orange glow was shining at the door windows. They looked at each, took a deep breath in bravery and enter the hospital. Both pushed the door open to see a bit of darkness but the fade orange glow in the distance gave a bit of light. Bill pulls out a keychain flashlight and turns it on, giving the empty and scary hallway a shine of light. The duos started to walk towards the distance of the orange glow, passing through different doorways and tag signs on the wall. Bill and Ted looked while continuing to walk straight. "I don't like this dude," whispered Ted. "I don't like it either Ted," whispered Bill, "but the car we saw must mean Evil Bill and Ted are here." "Which also means Marilyn is here right?" Ted asked. "Exactly," said Bill with a smile. Ted smiled back as the duo continued to walk straight. The hallway got darker and darker behind them, nothing but the light of Bill's keychain and the faint orange glow was a bit lit in the distance. Bill and Ted passed an open room where two shadow figures were there, immediately sending chills through Ted's spine. He stopped for a moment, letting Bill walk passed him as Ted stepped back to the open room where he saw two figures in the corner of his eye. He noticed it was very dark. He couldn't make out the figures as he heard, "Ted?" He looked to see Bill walking towards him. Ted points at the doorway as Bill shined the light at the doorway, revealing the figures of two girls lying on the floor, but somehow look slightly familiar to them. The girls looked up a bit, squinting their eyes to the bright light and saw Bill and Ted with glee. "William! Theodore!" yelled the girls. Their accents were very royal English as Bill and Ted soon discovered it was Joanna and Elizabeth. The girls stood up and rushed to Bill and Ted, giving them a huge hug as Bill and Ted yelped in pain. The girls released them and noticed how bad Bill and Ted looked. They were worried and asked the boys questions as Bill said, "look. We can explain later but right now, Ted and I have to rescue someone." "We brought the van," said Ted. "Let us come with you," said Elizabeth. "Yes," said Joanna, "we can kick their asses together." Bill looks at Ted. Ted takes a deep breath and said, "You don't understand ladies. These evil dudes that somehow kidnap you are not who you think they are." The girls begin to laugh hysterically and look at the boys. Bill and Ted became confused as they looked at each, wondering what to do. "Come on boys," said Elizabeth, "how about we go home and we can make you feel better?" Ted noticed the tease Elizabeth made as she walks towards him, wrapping her arms around his neck. Ted felt really uncomfortable as he looks at Bill. Joanna walked up to Bill and wraps her arms around his neck and said, "maybe we can heal you with our love." Bill gulped nervously, feeling something isn't right. "Ok look," said Bill, "you two head back to the van and we'll meet you there." He hands the keys to Joanna as both Joanna and Elizabeth kissed their boyfriends on the cheek and heads out of the room, leaving Bill and Ted in the dark. Bill and Ted looked at each other as Bill turns back on the keychain light and shines it around the room. "I don't think I like the girls," said Ted. "Same here Ted," said Bill, "I wonder why they were here?" "Maybe they came to visit," said Ted. "But why would our evil us'ses kidnap the princesses?" asked Bill. "What if the princesses were our evil selves?" asked Ted. Bill's mind suddenly clicked. He looks at Ted with shock, grabs his arm and runs out of the hospital into the outside. They saw Evil Bill and Ted with a smile on their face as they drive off. Bill and Ted runs into the road, but couldn't catch up to the van. Bill falls in his knees and looks at the van fading away into the distance. Ted couldn't believe his stupid question actually turned out to be the truth. Evil Bill and Evil Ted were dressed as Joanna and Elizabeth just to trick them into lending the van and drive into the unknown. Bill slowly stands up and said, "it's over. We lost. Now we can never save Marilyn." Ted said, "yes we can. We can still save Marilyn." Bill looks at Ted, asking, "how Ted? How can we follow the evil us'ses to save Marilyn?" Ted began to think for a moment. "That's what I thought," said Bill, feeling disappointed. "Lets just go back home." Bill begins to walk away but was stopped from Ted's hand. "What happened to you Bill? You're giving up that easy?" "Do I even have a choice?" asked Bill. Ted took a deep breath and said, "I can't let my own excellent friend become weak and defeated. I want a friend who is strong, brave and knows what is right. Yes I may be stupid, dumb, an asshole, and an idiot. I may not have a most excellent life. I may not be perfect, but at least I know my mistakes and I know how to fix my mistakes." Bill was astonished by Ted's words and thought for a second. He looks at his colleague and spoke gently, "you're right Ted. But you know what?" "What?" Ted asked. "You forgot one thing," answered Bill. "I did?" asked Ted. Bill nods his head and answered, "You're my Ted Theodore Logan, Ted" Ted gasped softly with his eyes a bit widen. "I-I'm your Ted? But what's the difference?" "It's not the difference that matters," said Bill, "what matters is you're still the same Ted Theodore Logan that everyone, including me. You haven't changed Ted. Not even a bit." Ted scoffed with a smile and hugs Bill softly, not wanting to hurt his friend since both of them did get into a heinous fight. "Wow. I wish that was part of the movie but that never happened!" Bill and Ted immediately pulled away after they heard a familiar voice. They turned and to their surprise, they saw Marilyn leaning her back next to a car. "Marilyn!" Bill and Ted yelled with glee. Marilyn smiled and walked up to Bill and Ted and said, "man you two look like shit. What'd you do? Get into a fight?" "Actually," said Ted, "we did get into a fight." Marilyn made a painful look on her face and said, "wow. That must've been ugly. At least you two look alright." "How did you manage to escape from the evil uses?" asked Bill. "We thought you were gone," said Ted. "Actually," said Marilyn as she pulls out a cell phone from her pocket, "you should thank that I am from the future because they are taking a robot version of me right now." She shows Bill and Ted a camera that shows Evil Bill and Ted looking at the road in the van. "Woah," said Ted. Marilyn turns off her phone and puts it away. She looks back at Bill and Ted and said, "listen dudes, we don't have much time. They stole my laptop with all of the plans in there. They know what the plans are and at any minute, they will destroy the data and they will try to erase you two from existence." Bill and Ted looked at each other, back at Marilyn with their arms crossed and said, "no they won't" Marilyn raised an eyebrow in confusion. Bill and Ted runs towards the car and hops in. Bill starts hotwiring the car and the engine starts to run. Ted rolls down the window and yells, "hop on." Marilyn was confused was runs and hops into the car. After 30 minutes of driving, they reached to Marilyn's house. The three trios gets out of the car and heads inside. Marilyn was still confused at why evil Bill and Ted aren't going to erase the real Bill and Ted from existence. "Seriously," said Marilyn, "can you answer my question?" Bill grabs the laptop from the kitchen table, which made Marilyn shock. "I-Is that my?" asked Marilyn. Bill turns the laptop to show Marilyn the data and plans to destroy the evil dickweeds. Marilyn smiled with glee, not finding any words to say. "Don't worry," said Ted, "we manage to study this before we have to come and rescue you so we know the plan." Marilyn looks at Bill and Ted with a smile on her face and tears falling from her eyes. Bill and Ted felt accomplished and happy but still in pain. "You two should rest up and take care of yourselves," said Marilyn, "you really deserve a break." Bill and Ted chuckled and said at the same time, "you don't say." "But we should," says Ted, rubbing the back of his neck in pain. "I could really use a massage," says Bill. "How about you two just hit the showers and I can help you with your massage?" said Marilyn while she looks at her laptop, still smiling. Bill and Ted looked at each other, not wanting to use the same showers at the same time. Marilyn gave them a serious look and said, "I mean in separate bathrooms you morons." Bill and Ted sighed in relief as they head up the stairs and went different directions. 13 minutes later, Bill and Ted were in bathrobes, feeling a bit relaxed but a bit sore. They both head downstairs into the living room and sat on the sofa, groaning in pain. Marilyn walks down the stairs in her knee-length blue nightgown with two cases in both of her hands. She placed both cases behind the sofa as Bill looks at Marilyn and asked, "What's that?" Marilyn looks at Bill as she opens both cases and answers, "don't worry about it." She grabs a pad that is connected to the case and gives it to Bill. Bill looks at the pad and noticed wires and what seems to be something round inside the pad. "Put it under the robe on your back," said Marilyn. Bill shrugged and did what Marilyn said. He reached the pad and places it in his back, feeling uncomfortable. Marilyn gave Ted what looks like a weird scarf. "Just put it on," said Marilyn. Ted puts it on as it felt soft and squishy. It wasn't too tight nor too lose. "It feels like a pillow for your neck," said Ted. "That's because it is," spoke Marilyn in a sarcastic tone, "now, I want you dudes to close your eyes and relax. This will help you dudes feel like you're in paradise." Bill and Ted began to move a bit, trying to find a comfortable spot and gave Marilyn thumbs up. Marilyn looks at Bill and Ted and slowly turns on the switch. Bill and Ted immediately breathed in once they felt the machines moving. "Woah," they spoke calmly. Bill and Ted felt like they were actually being massaged. Marilyn walks towards the light switch and slowly dims the house lights, giving it a soft glow. Marilyn grabs the remote and turns on the CD player as a CD begins to play soft acoustic guitar and harp with the sounds of oceans in the background. Bill and Ted continued to breathe slowly, feeling so calm and relaxed from the massaging machines. Hearing the noise and feeling the soft vibration of the massage, it was like they were in heaven until they fell asleep. Marilyn slowly sneaked away to leave Bill and Ted alone and let them relax. She walks into her room and slowly closed the door. She yawned and stretched as she walks to her bed, plops her entire body on the mattress and lays down. She covers herself with a soft blanket and slowly closes her eyes, falling into a deep sleep underneath the blue moonlight.
