After walking through town for an hour, they reach an iron gate with spikes at the top "Hope they're not home." Katie mutter as she rings the bell. "Yes?" a crackly voice answered causing Katie to clench her fists "Hi, can you let me in." Katie answered with a grown. "I'm sorry who is this?"
"Disappointment." Katie sighed; "Oh Katie! I'll let you in." the person answered as the the gate opened. "Come on,follow my lead and try not to get annoyed." Katie lead them in through the open gate and up to the front door which opened right as they arrived to it "Welcome home, Lady Katie." The butler said as she walked in; "You don't need to call me that Joseph." she said. When they walked in, a grand entrance meet them, there were a chandelier, a couple chairs, small oak tables, and violet tiles with a even grander stair case. A lady in a forest green dress and a man in a full tuxedo walked, Katie tensed up. "Katie!" the lady called, walking up to Katie and gave her a hug, "We thought you were dead." Katie shrugged her off, "Sure you did." Katie then turned to her friends, "These are my parents, Erwyna Elias and Edric Elias." Lord Elias smiled "It's nice to see that Katie had made some friends." he then turned to Joseph "Can you show them to their-"
"They can stay in my room." Katie interrupted with a glare, but her father didn't contradict. "Young lady, I need to speak with you privately."
"Why?" Katie raised an eyebrow; "Because I said so." he replied, Katie not buying it. "Fine." she then turned to Leon, "Just wait for me upstairs, if you hear a scream, come down and get me." He nodded before following Joseph upstairs with Little Creeper and Kirby in tow.
"What do you want?" Katie asked once they were gone; "To talk to you about your behavior." her father said.
Up in Katie's room; "Wow, Katie definitely made her mark in here." Leon whisled. There were armor and weapons lying around the room, weapon magazines opened on the desk. "Yes, Miss. Katie does have a different taste in many things compare to most girls her age. Her parents had never approved of her hobbies." Joseph said, "But she loves it, and her teacher adores her too." Leon looked around "Why don't her parents approve? She can defend herself, wouldn't that be important for the first born of any noble family?"
"This is true, and would be alright if she was born a boy. Her father is strict on tradition along with her mother. They try to teach her how to be a proper lady, but she never followed."
Just then, Katie walked in with an annoyed look "Sorry for taking so long. Joseph, is the tunnel still the same?" Joseph nodded, "Good prepare a month worth of food and some money at the east exit." Joseph nodded again before leaving.
"Katie, what's going on?" Leon asked, but Katie was already organizing things for all of them to sleep, "My parents don't approve of me fighting, not that I care much. Basically I'm in trouble and such like normal."
"So basically wants you to act like a lady."
"Yup, but I stopped caring since I was about five ." Katie smiled at Leon "So, we're running away once I get the okay from Joseph."
