Dylan's pov-

I am going to be a father at eighteen.

Reality struck me like thunder.This is why protection is manufactured but Ava looked so damn gorgeous and the situation on that island was too tempting for me to control.

I know we have reconciled but she still hasn't forgiven me completely. I don't even blame her.Who would forgive someone easily who broke you from inside? Only a lovely and a person with a pure heart and innocence can do that and that said person is my girlfriend.

Girlfriend.Avalon Grace Black is my girlfriend.I smile at the thought.

Geez,I am behaving like a girl.

I had just dropped Ava at her house.I want to tell my parents about it very soon;but I am sure it's not going to be easy.

Good thing is that both of them are currently at home so maybe I can discuss about this to them over dinner.

"You're home Dyl.Come on hurry up.We have invited Ava and her family too.I mean you are dating her and because her dad is our family lawyer and also a very good friend of your father; this dinner was just a way to get together for a while. After all both of us;your dad and I and her parents went through so much when you guys went missing. Dinner is nice way to interact.Isn't it?"

Mom said with a smile.

Luck sure isn't in my favour.

I mean a family get together with my girlfriend's family;whom I have impregnated.

Not good at all.

Her dad,my dad and of course her brother Jake.Damn,they will kill me on spot.

Jake doesn't even like me much.I don't know why but he was okay before we going out officially.

He had warned me straight faced that if I ever screwed up with his baby sister he will end my existence.

In other words.. I wasn't threatened obvious but he was quite serious. Ava didn't know about this thing and I'm sure I will end up toothless by tomorrow from the amount of punches I'm going to receive tonight.

I immediately called Ava to tell her about my plan of introducing the pregnancy news tonight.

She picked up immediately and started babbling.

"Oh my Dylan!!Dinner!Your parents invited my parents,my brother and me for dinner.I can't face anyone so soon.Mom will kill me.Oh my god.Dad,Jake and your father will kill you.I don't want our baby to be fatherless and motherless. Oh but how will it be born if there's no mother. Damn Dyl the baby is in danger. I am so scared."

And then my girl started crying loudly.

"Damn.Shh baby.Stop crying.It's OK.Stop hyper venting. I am with you in this all right? The baby is safe.Don't take stress.I just found out from mom too and to be honest I am freaked out but we have to do it together. I might be half dead from the amount of thrashing I might receive from Jake and your father tonight but I am our baby's father.It's my responsibility and love for you and our kid."

By the end of the speech; I was again shocked by what I said.

When did I get so matured!

"You know I haven't forgiven you completely but stop behaving so sweetly because it makes me want to reconsider and I don't want to be so easy on you."

I can't almost imagine her pouting in the other end of the line.

Adorable.

"You don't have to be easy..test me babe.I am going to prove that I'm worthy enough for you and our kid."

"You are not going to leave me again,Right?"

I sighed.

"Never again."

I hope she trusts me but then again I haven't done anything for her to trust me.It's my own fault.If only I wasn't so blind and stupid.

"OK.I'll see you tonight then.Take care."

She was out to hang up.

"Ava umm..stop.Uh can you wear the peach summer dress you bought when I took you for shopping. You looked beautiful. I mean it's not like you don't look good always but you know.."

Right now I didn't know what I was saying.

"OK."

She wishpered.

She must be blushing. Damn,I wanted to see that expression and kiss her senseless.

"Take care of yourself and our baby."

The phone went dead after that.

I sighed.

I am Dylan Reece Vanderbilt. I don't get scared.

Lets face it like a man dude.

5 hours later-

Ava sure did look very pretty in her beautiful blue dress.

"You look so gorgeous."

She blushed.

"Thank you.I am so scared Dyl."

"I am too but let's get this over with. This is our kid babe and we are responsible for him or her.If we back out now how would we ever take care of him in future."

She smiled and nodded.

"Let's do it."

"What are you two wipering alound brosky?"

Rach pouted and asked me.

Ava just sweetly smiled at my five year old baby sister.

"Nothing special sweet cheeks. Aren't you looking just like snow white today."

She pecked Rach.

"Thank eww Ava.You lwook wike a pwincess too."

She grinned at her.Her two broken front teeth clearly visible.

"Come on guys join us now. The dinner is all set."

Mom announced as all of us made way to the dining table.

Ava's brother was still not in sight.

"Where's Jake?"

I asked her.

"He's running late actually. He had to go with Nikki some where."

Ava said.I sighed with relief.

"I'm sorry I am late.I hope I didn't miss on something."

It was Jake.I face-palmed.Couldn't he come a little late. One more person to tackle me to death.

Ava nervously drank her orange juice to distract herself from facing him.

God dammit!

He sat down just in front of me.Ava was beside me.Her hold on my palm tightened.

I looked at her.She looked like she was about to cry.

"Are you guys alright? Looks like a problem to us?"

Gloria asked us.

Ava was gripping my hand very hard.I let her do it.

I know she's very nervous.

"We have to tell you something."

All of them looked at us.

Then Jake suddenly looked at me furiously.

"Don't you dare tell me you got my baby sister pregnant!"

My mother gasped so did Ava's.

Ava was already crying.

"Oh my god..yo-you did."

He looked at Ava;who was now crying non-stop.

"Yes,she's pregnant."

I didn't know what else to say.

"Racheal go to your room."

Mom sent a very scared Rachel to her room.She's only five.

The next thing I know I was punched very hard in my nose.

"Jake calm down!"

To my surprise it was Ava's dad who pulled him from punching me again.

"Dad!how could you?He did that Ava..they are only 17 goddamit.Not even 18."

He shouted.

"I know that but I am sure it was a mistake on their part. As responsible adults we should talk to these two;not shout and make them more scared than they already are.Just look at their faces.They look terrified."

Max(Ava's Dad) said quietly.

I was stunned after hearing this.

I didn't expect that.Wow.

I looked at my father.He was glaring at me.

"Don't you dare step away from your responsibilities now Dylan.We have raised you well."

"Stop saying such things Chris.I trust my son.He will never leave Ava alone."

Mom stopped him from saying more.

"I am never leaving her or our kid alone guys.I love them."

I said quietly.

"Come on.Let's talk about this."

Ava's mom just hugged her crying daughter tightly while we followed her in our living room.

Jake was still glaring at me.

Dammit.Save us NOW.

Finally I updated...
I know .I know...it's been so so long since I updated the story.

I swear I'm not giving up on this one.

But I've started college so it's tough.. And I'm also doing Accidentally Yours which is full packeged novel of more than 50 chapters..as I've decided.

This story has only 5 chapters left as it was always supposed to be a short story.

I hope you guys stick till the end.
