If you don't like such talks of heavy beatings, then skip the part in the lobby. Stay Safe Fam!‼️)
(Ash POV)
Yelling. Bangs that were as Loud as Thunder. That's all that flooded my ears as I sat in the lobby of the Pokemon Center. Everything was barricaded from the rioting crowd outside. They couldn't identify what team the riot was on, so the police assumed it was just mixed. I kept hearing sirens from the police as well, trying their best to contain the building. I had a feeling the Pokemon Center might actually fall apart if the riot were able to launch a complete coordinated assault.
"Please Refrain from Ordering any Attacks!"
I heard the Police keep yelling outside the building. I was getting sick of all the yelling, and moved away from the lobby of the Pokemon Center. The Professor seemed tempted to stop me from leaving, but he didn't say anything as I passed him.
I sat down outside the door where Greninja was currently resting at. I felt an immense pain in my stomach sitting by the door. Felt like every muscle, every bone, organ, in that area of the stomach was destroyed. The pain was constant, and it felt like it a person was sitting on my stomach.
Yet that wasn't on my mind at the moment.
I began rambling to myself, saying things aloud in an attempt to calm my stomach down. To ignore the pain. I was hoping by some miracle that what I was saying out loud Greninja could. I saw my other Pokemon down the hall listening, although I don't think they realized I saw them.
"I would be lying if I said I haven't been praying to Arceus every night since the war started.
Praying for the Protection of other Families, Protection of my Friends, of my Parents, and of the Pokemon. Trying to keep a high positive mind in this war has been a challenge that rivals the challenge of becoming a True Pokemon Master- Or even a Champion"
I looked down the hallway to see my Pokemon still eavesdropping. I was gonna call them out, but I decided to just keep talking to myself.
"I worry every-time on the battlefield for situations like this. I worry for such injuries for all my Pokemon. Especially for Scars. I dislike the idea of scars being created from something that's completely unnecessary. Something that could've been avoided..."
I felt the stomach pain loosen just a little bit after I finished saying that. Something changed as atmosphere had a different feeling. A Feeling of Uneasiness.
"I'm gonna be honest. I've been scared during this entire war, and before the war even started I was scared. I was fearful for what was to occur, and even now I violently shake in my bed, sweating as I wait for the next day to begin. Sometimes my blood stream just turns cold as chills get sent down my spine. I feel as if I've been trapped in a blizzard this entire time. Unable to see the end, and I'm clueless to my surroundings."
I stopped to catch my breath, and just breathe for a moment. I pulled out a Pokeball from my pocket.
"However, Every night I think of how to redeem myself to the world for what my Family has done. I wonder what'll happen to me shall this war end. Would people look at me the same way?"
I looked into the Pokeball's Reflection to look at myself again. My expression just seemed miserable, and there were some bags under my eyes. Yet, All I saw a few seconds later was an explosion in the reflection.
!B A N G!
!C R A S H!
Instantly I Immediately got up from the floor to look upwards. Tons of flying Pokemon were circling the Pokemon Center. And the sounds of people yelling was intensifying. A celebration seemed to be occurring in the streets for breaking the roof.
Thats when Professor Sycamore along with an Officer Jenny ran down the halls frantically.
"RUN. THEY'RE BREAKING IN!!"
Another explosion could be heard; towards the front of the building.
A few words could be heard, but one in particular had peaked my interest, and nearly gave me a Heart Attack.
"Capture the Bounty!"
The next thing I see are Pokemon like Nidokings causing a rampage through the halls, looking for me. The bird Pokemon that were circling above me were beginning to come attack me with moves such as brave birds. Gliscor began leading a group of my Flying Pokemon in the air to help defend me from what I described as air strikes.
I meanwhile hid myself in the room where Greninja was meant to be recovering in. Snorlax blocked the door from anyone entering the room. However, I had a feeling explosives were gonna be the way the rioters were gonna enter the room. I could hear all sorts of moves being used outside. I kept Heracross and Infernape near me to help defend me from any trainers that might've gotten In through flying. They didn't care about anything, they disregarded the idea of me being a human and having feelings. All that was on their minds was the bounty money they'd gain. Not to mention the recognition of saying they captured me.
Thats when the door Snorlax had been defending completely exploded. Dust filled the air, and the wall completely came down. When it cleared, a trainer that had a Chesnaught was seen standing there. The trainer even had handcuffs that I couldn't tell if it were real or fake.
"Nows our chance! Use Frenzy Plant!"
The trainer chanted with the handcuffs being tightly held. Soon huge vines were ripped from the earth and all of them were heading for me.
"Heracross! Break the vines with your fury attack!"
I blabbered out loud in a moment of panic trying to find a way to defeat the vines. However the vines themselves were acting a bit odd. They seemed hesitant to attack. I watched Heracross destroy the vines with barely any problems. They shredded into pieces as Heracross used rapid movement to break through the vines. Yet more kept coming as Chesnaught stood there.
"Infernape, use Flamethrower on Chesnaught while he's open."
I whispered to Infernape as quietly as possible. And soon the air was piping hot as a storm of flames was approaching the Chesnaught. It was engulfed by the flames and a cry could be heard as it desperately tried to withstand the heat.
But soon backup came in the form of even more trainers. A golduck came to Chesnaught's aid and put out the flames with hydro pump. Then I see Gliscor crash into the Earth as a Skarmory had landed a huge hit on Gliscor. More Skarmory had appeared above us, circling while screeching a horrible noise that sounded like a fire alarm. A line of pokemon and trainers stood before me, all looking high and mighty. The Chesnaught was being healed with some super potions and burn heal, and as much as I wanted to attack, I knew if I did the whole room would crash in on me.
I stood there, trying to think of a solution that could save me from this, but nothing came to mind. I could feel my stomach tighten as my stress went up even more. Either that, or something was wrong with the other main problem. The machine that had been healing Greninja had stopped. A huge burn mark could still be seen on his stomach, and he still was in a comatose state. Except now, looking at his face you could tell something was wrong. It seemed like it just shouted Pain. Anger. Torment.
I could see the trainers look at the container with what I presume to be freakish thoughts. I had a heavy feeling that they wanted to capture an Ace Pokemon that could change the war if fought in the right battles with the right opponent. Not to mention, I'm sure they already saw what happened with Alain. I should've probably guessed that these trainers would hold something dear to me hostage, that way I will be obligated to listen to them.
Come on, think- How do I get out of this situation with me winning this-
.
.
.
.
.
Then, It Hit Me.
I was gonna punch the wall when I felt something on my wrist, something I had nearly forgotten due to the stress of the war. The MegaZ-Ring. It had been off my mind to even use Mega Evolution, or Z Moves. But in this situation- It could be what turns the tide in our favor.
Thats when I suddenly feel a rush of pain hit me as I get tackled straight into the wall by one of the rioters. And soon everyone came rushing into the room. Snorlax who mainly sat there, dozing off, finally started attacking some of the rioters. I saw some of them scream like they had just saw their Pokemon get stolen. The Skarmories that were circling us began dive bombing on me, pecking at my face and hat. Some of them using iron head on me.
People began gripping my clothes and trying to handcuff me. Some of them had ripped my plain white t-shirt, while others yanked on my arms. I felt like a doll getting torn apart by houndooms. Infernape and Heracross were distracted by other Pokemon who were attacking them.
That's when a rioter completely broke the glass to the machine Greninja was in. Some blood was on his hand as the glass shards seemed to cut him when he broke the glass. Cheers could be heard from the crowd, and soon more people came to restrain me Even more. The rioter carelessly picked up Greninja and tossed him into the crowd. Greninja's body seeming completely lifeless, like a broken rag toy.
"We got one of his strongest pokemon! Everybody scram!"
And soon a group of people carrying Greninja tried their best to make their way through the rioting crowd while more people came to restrain me. Thats when a huge gust of leaves had hit the people restricting me, knocking some of them to the ground. Then a bolt of lightning struck the last two people holding me. I looked up from the unconscious people below me to see Sceptile and Pikachu in front of me, defending me from the oncoming trainers.
Professor Sycamore on his Mega Garchomp landed right next to me after dragon raging the skarmories in the sky. I saw the terror on the People's faces when they saw the Mega Garchomp. As if they'd just seen a ghost.
"Ash! Thank heavens your ok. You had me worried sick. This riot isn't lightening anytime soon. The Police are trying they're best to break it up."
Professor told me while our Pokemon defended us from oncoming attacks. Professor I saw glanced at the shattered glass, and shock had filled his face.
"Greninja is with the crowd, still in a comatose state. They seemed to have targeted him, with me next. However, Pikachu and Sceptile came to save me in the nick of time."
I explained to Professor Sycamore as quickly as possible while a Nidoqueen nearly hit me. Pikachu quickly iron tailed it before it had a chance to finish its move. I watched as most trainers teamed up and attack Garchomp. It held its own against 10 Pokemon, but you could tell it was getting overwhelmed. Not to mention more kept attacking it.
Thats when I saw Sceptile get violently tossed towards me. I quickly caught him, trying to absorb the impact of how he got sent flying towards me. Pikachu covered Sceptile from any oncoming attacks as I helped Sceptile get up. We were gonna need more firepower and speed.
I held my right arm to my chest, revealing my MegaZ-Ring. I softly placed two fingers on where the Keystone was engraved, and felt a rush of energy unleash. Beams of light shined, and golden streaks clashed with each other. Sceptile, in the midst of the blinding lights, had grown. The beams of light were coming from a leaf necklace that held a MegaStone. And when it cleared, a new threat had been seen for anyone attacking.
"RUN! ITS A MEGA SCEPTILE!" They yelled while returning their pokemon. Some Pokemon instantly rushed for Sceptile in an attempt to get a free hit.
"Use Leaf Blade on the approaching targets."
No hesitation as Sceptile immediately sliced the Pokemon using leaf blade, and the enemy fainted.
I watched As Pikachu ran through the crowd of people and Pokemon trying to get away. Thats when I looked up to see Helicopters beginning to arrive. Professor Sycamore sent a Drone to look at how many people there were in the center since the roof was completely off, and most of them had been escaping through the streets. However, there was a group in the lobby of the Pokemon Center arguing over something. And soon, I saw a familiar Thunderbolt get sent upwards into the air, like a beacon. It was a signal.
I pushed any trainers through the halls with Sceptile, ignoring Professor Sycamore's Desperate Attempt to stop me. I saw down the hall Infernape and Heracross still battling trainers, and keeping them away from me. Not to mention, Snorlax whenever anyone got close, beat any Pokemon who came his way. Gliscor started chipping away at any Pokemon attempting to get the jump on any of my Pokemon or me.
When I arrived at the lobby, I saw something I never wanted to see happen to any Pokemon. They were beating Pokemon. Beating them senselessly, with no rhyme or reason. I felt hatred fill my body, and I felt the need for revenge on these people who were beating Pokemon who were in the Center for Treatment.
"Sceptile, Use Leaf Storm and get those People away from the Pokemon!"
I ordered with a shakey voice. Leaves and violent winds slammed any people hurting the Pokemon into the wall, and left the Pokemon on the floor. Sceptile covered me as I gathered the Pokemon from the lobby. There weren't as many rioters as before, but still enough to cause chaos. Nurses were coming back from the other rooms, freed from Professor Sycamore. I handed them the injured Pokemon for them to hopefully heal.
Yet, one of them I wasn't able to get to was the last one. The one in the worse condition, both physically and probably mentally. The person had a Pyroar defend the Pokemon from me, the Pokemon being Greninja. Seeing the Pyroar gave me deja vu, and flashbacks to Lysandre when he made Lumiose City turn to chaos.
Sceptile came to my side after disarming the last trainer. The trainer in front of me seemed to be the leader of this riot. Everyone else was fleeing from the police outside. Yet, my focus was on this trainer who thought he could capture me.
I took a step forward, but as I did the Pyroar fired a Hyper beam directly at Greninja. A Point Blank Hyper Beam.
"Come any closer, take another step, or even command your Pokemon and a Hyper Beam will be unleashed again onto your dear, innocent Pokemon."
The trainer told me with a huge grin on his face. He was holding a Pokemon Hostage to keep me from acting. To have control over me, knowing I wouldn't want a Pokemon to get hurt due to my actions. The worst part is I could feel the pain of the Hyper Beam just explode in my body. Felt like the sun had just touched my face.
The trainer began to laugh. "How sad! Unable to do anything since we have a Pokemon of yours under our control. A Pokemon I'm sure that doesn't even care about you in the slightest."
It was at that moment I knew I wanted to send this man flying like Team Rocket does.
Thats when I saw something in the corner of my eye. I saw Sceptile begin charging a Solar Beam, presumably to hit Pyroar. The man wasn't paying attention to Sceptile, mainly keeping his gaze on me. A plan formed in my head.
"I think you're confused. You obviously can't understand Pokemon very well." I told him with a mocking tone of voice. I saw his expression change.
"And what does that mean, Failure Child?"
"It means you need to return to the basics of Pokemon Care, which relies on the factor of trust."
And soon the Solar Beam directly landed on Pyroar. I sprinted to where Greninja was laying, and gently place him on my shoulder. Sceptile meanwhile made sure the Pyroar wasn't able to attack as I carried Greninja. Yet the Trainer was running straight towards me, ready to tackle me into an oblivion. Thankfully Pikachu electrocuted him, paralyzing him. The Officer Jennys came down from the helicopters, and handcuffed the Trainer who attacked me. The Riot had left.
.
.
.
A Few Hours Later... 8:12 P.M.
.
.
.
It had been a while since the Riot left the building, but now the place was in shambles. The nurses got the machines running, but the roof, some walls, and floors were completely broken. Sceptile was recovering with A Nurse Joy while Professor Sycamore also wrote down some notes about Mega Evolution.
I was sitting in the Room watching Greninja recover with more marks then last time. Most of them being bruises from what the trainers had done. Made me sick.
Pikachu stood on my shoulder, trying to cheer me up, but I was just feeling down. I had no motivation after the day's events. It was cold due to the weather outside. Not to mention some raindrops every here and there. It would make me lose my train of thought.
A Nurse Joy every now and then would check up on me and Greninja. She was incredibly caring, she even prepared some food for me. Wagyu Beef with some Mashed Potatoes is what she prepared for me to eat. I'm pretty sure thats a delicacy food that's expensive, but it was high class when I took a bite of the food.
Moments later, I heard a knock on the door. "Come in!" I yelled as the door let out a hideous squeak. I looked up to see who it was, and it was Sawyer, who I hadn't seen since battling Alain. Behind him was two Sceptiles, the one being his marked by the Scarf.
The other one was mine based off the twig in its mouth.
"How are you doing, Ash?"
Sawyer asked me while putting away his notebook in his pocket. I didn't wanna respond, I didn't have to respond. I was in a higher position than him, but I knew that if I ignored him that'd be rude. But silence speaks volumes sometimes.
I didn't respond to what he asked.
I watched with the corner of my eye Sawyer look at the machine Greninja was in. They had to use a reserve machine they had in the back for Grenina to recover, but his condition seemed just as bad as before. Not to mention the supplies were burnt from the riot.
"Isn't there anything we can do Ash? There has to be SOMETHING-"
Sawyer tried telling me but I held my hand up to tell him to just stop talking. He was about to try and get me into a pumped up feeling, but I wasn't feeling it. Sawyer remained quiet as he sat in the opposite corner in a chair.
It was here where I began messing with the MegaZ-Ring. I tried pulling the bracelet off of me, no luck just like the last time. The bracelet was surprisingly warm for some odd reason. I saw Sawyer staring at it in the distance, and Pikachu tried biting it. Nothing affected the bracelet it seemed.
Then I felt a sharp talon on both my shoulders.
"ASH!" I heard Sawyer call out to me with his face full of shock and fear. I was now getting high above ground, and looking up I saw that an Aerodactyl had picked me up. I was getting Flashbacks of that other Aerodactyl that picked me up-
Thats when I saw a crowd of people in the streets again. It was the riot, and there were no police in sight. I was beginning to get a panic attack-
"HELPPPPP, I DON'T WANNA GO TO THE RIOT!"
I cried furiously as I began squirming. The crowd kept yelling for the Aerodactyl to drop me above the riot. I wanted to just cry like a kid about to get punished for doing something wrong, but I was trying to just calm my breathing. I kept huffing and puffing. I saw someone lay out a target in the middle of the riot, presumably where they wanted me to land. My heart beat kept getting faster and faster.
Then the Aerodactyl dropped me 300 Feet in the Air.
The crowd cheered as they watched me free fall to the earth. Pokemon were already waiting for me to land at the target to attack me. That is if I wasn't a pancake by the time I fell.
Would this be the end of my story? Ash Ketchum, Died from a Raging Riot.
No. It couldn't be.
I still had a mission to complete.
And Arceus in this moment decided to have Mercy on my Soul. Either that, or it must've saw a rioting bond begin to form within the fabric of my soul.
Something began shining absurdly bright on my right wrist. The MegaZ-Ring's Keystone. A golden glow seem to emit from it. Like it had triggered something.
I was approaching the ground now, and closed my eyes, not ready to endure the impact. As the world seemed to fade to black, I heard gasps and some screams from the crowd. I should've felt the impact mow, but I didn't feel anything.
I slowly opened my eyes to see something blue carrying me. It seemed to struggle to carry me, so I quickly tried getting up, but the thing wouldn't let go. Soon I saw a Frenzy Plant tear through the crowd, and made a path for the trainer.
"Ash! Thank Goodness your ok!" I saw Sawyer yell as he ran towards me. His Sceptile in the background preventing any Pokemon from going near us using Frenzy Plant. The thing carrying me finally put me down. I turned to finally get a good look at it, but soon it started to fall. I quickly caught the figure by the shoulder and held him up. It had collapsed from exhaustion. I wanted to cry as I held the figure, my heart beating just as fast as it was a few minutes ago.
"About that..." Sawyer began to say as he cleared his throat, but soon Officer Jennys were arriving. They began containing the crowd as best as possible. Meanwhile me and Sawyer began heading back inside the Pokemon Center.
"Greninja just... He suddenly awoke from the machine and jumped through the broken roof."
Sawyer explained in the lobby to me. We were waiting for the area to be clear for good. So Sawyer and I sat on some chairs in the Pokemon Center.
"His face when he awoke is one that you'd get after a bad nightmare."
Sawyer told me again while my Sceptile brought a cookie for me and a blanket.
"Did you use any medicine on Greninja, Sawyer?"
I asked while I placed the blanket on Greninja who was currently sleeping in my lap.
"No. I had done nothing to Greninja! I was staying in the room to ensure your Items weren't stolen!"
Sawyer explained while panicking. I believed what he claimed was true, I trusted Sawyer, even during a time of war.
"It's strange. He woke up when you were about to... Well get hurt. Think that might have anything to do with him waking up?"
Sawyer brought up, and soon Professor Sycamore dropped in on what Sawyer had said.
"That's a good point. Ash, Maybe Greninja sensed you were about to get hurt! I mean, based off Sawyer's Descriptions, it sounds like it woke up in a rush. Did anything strange happen to you Ash?"
Professor Sycamore theorized while taking a seat on a chair next to us. I tried thinking of strange things that happened, and only one thing came to mind:
"Yeah, something strange did happen," I told them with an uneasy voice, "the MegaZ-Ring started glowing. Like it had triggered something."
Professor Sycamore grabbed my right arm and began examining the Bracelet. He poked at it, studied it, analyzed it heavily. He even sniffed it, which I found to be weird.
"If I may Recall, you could not remove the Brace from your arm. Nobody in the room could remove it or break it, right?"
Professor Sycamore asked trying to remember the info on the bracelet. I nodded him a yes, and Sawyer's Mouth dropped.
"Ash- YOU CAN'T BREAK IT!?! OR REMOVED IT?"
Sawyer avowed while his eyes were wide open. He ran to the bracelet and tried to take it off himself to test it, but just like everyone else he wasn't able to. Sceptile tried to leaf blade it too, but it didn't even leave a scratch.
"I think it may be a curse. Or a blessing, depends on the context." I told him while staring at the Keystone. It seemed to just be a regular Keystone, nothing strange about it.
"But Ash, wasn't Greninja able to remove it with ease?"
Professor Sycamore recalled, and looking back at that moment it was true. Greninja had literally taken it off like a regular bracelet.
"Yeah! It was him! I remember being absurdly mad as that requires further research on the bracelet and another special thing your Greninja has!"
Professor Sycamore said really loudly. He had his hands in his hair, pulling on some strands of hair.
"Going back to the subject, I don't really know why it glowed then of all times. I didn't Mega Evolve any Pokemon in that moment-"
I told them before getting cut off by Professor Sycamore.
"However! It seems that bracelet is directly related to Greninja somehow. He can take it off, and if I had to guess that Bracelet is the reason he woke up."
Professor Sycamore's Eye was slightly twitching, it seemed like in that moment he had gone completely insane. Like a mad scientist.
"I agree with the Professor, Ash. I think it might've been the bracelet that caused all of this. Well not the riot, but for Greninja to wake up."
Sawyer told me while pulling out his own Keystone from his notebook.
"Keystones are still quite a mystery in this world, they seem yield power if drawn out correctly. It's a fascinating subject with layers of depth."
Professor Sycamore rambled while looking at Sawyer's Keystone.
I mostly stayed quiet, both from confusion and exhaustion. When I looked at Greninja who was still sleeping in my lap, his face seemed to be relieved. Beforehand, it seemed like it was in constant pain and agony, now it seemed just calm. Like the ocean after a long storm- Heavy big Waves turned to a smooth plain of water.
"I think we should discuss this topic tomorrow, I'm tired." I told them as they were discussing about Keystones and Megastones. I carefully got up from my sleep, and carried Greninja on my shoulder. Pikachu was sitting ontop of my head.
"Good night, see you in the morning." I told them while yawning afterwards. I walked to my room which now had a great view of the stars due to no roof. I placed Greninja on the bed and pulled up a chair to sleep in. I tucked in Pikachu and Greninja in my bed and went back to the chair.
It would just be me alone tonight.
I looked up to the stars, the tiny dots in the sky that were millions of miles away from me. They just twinkled above me, looking down at me. They didn't care about who looked at them. It could be some dude who hates pokemon, a villain who wants to take over the world, or someone who could never be forgiven. Despite that, Stars still do the same thing, they twinkle and shine, for anyone.
A shooting star passed by, in the blink of an eye. I thought to myself a wish I'd want to become a reality. With that, the stars disappeared as I fell asleep...

3rd Person(POV)
As Ash fell asleep and as did everyone else, something strange happened that night. As silence filled the air, and no prying eyes were on Ash and his Pokemon, something truly mysterious yet magical happened.
A little glow kept fading in and out on Ash's Keystone. A golden glow surrounded where the bracelet was, and overtime it got brighter and brighter.
Soon, a golden light emerges from where the Keystone is. It spins and spirals through the air for a moment, leaving a trail of golden dust. It seamlessly dances in the air as if it had just been released from a prison, before doing its work.
Finally, the golden lights begin to spiral around Greninja, feeling a sense of power and love emerging from deep within the soul of this Kalos Starter. The Golden Lights softly spiral above any injury, and within moments the injuries just heal. Any physical scars just fade away as if they were just pencil marks needing to be erased. The light continues until there is nothing left to be healed. When the deed is done, the light just fades away, and the night returns to how it was before: Dark and Quiet. No trace of magic to be seen.

Ash(POV)
As I woke up uncomfortably from the bed, I felt like I had missed something. Something important that happened last night. But that wasn't on my mind. What bothered me was what was happening in front of me.
There was nothing laying on the bed sleeping.
I panicked as I put some clothes on and began searching for my beloved Pokemon. Hopefully they weren't stolen last night, especially in the state they were in. I ran to the front desk where Nurse Joy was and shouted:
"HAVE YOU SEEN MY POKEMON."
I accidentally startled her, as she nearly fell. I had to apologize, as I felt bad. But she responded to me saying,
"I think they went outside, I don't know where but it was the direction of the lab."
I slammed open the doors which hit me back in the face, but I ran in the direction of where Professor Sycamore's Lab is. The spot on the bed was warm, meaning they had only left recently. Soon I heard an explosion in the distance, and lightning was seen in the sky.
"I'm coming! Hang in there!"
I shouted hoping they'd hear. I was sprinting so fast I nearly fell on my face multiple times. Finally, I had gotten to where they were, and all I saw was a cloud of smoke fill the air. I ran into the smoke recklessly and ignored any risks.
As I walked through the smoke, I bumped into something on accident in the smoke. When I saw who it was, I began tearing up. Looking at his expression also looked like it made him tear up as well. Thats when I suddenly got tackled to the ground by a raticate. I hit the concrete really hard, the back of my head in a world of pain. I saw Pikachu Iron tail the Raticate off me, and soon the smoke cleared, and I saw the trainer return the Raticate and run once he saw me. Must've been scared I would've punished him.
A webbed blue hand was put out in front of me to help me get up. I firmly gripped the hand to get up, and in one motion turned from me getting up to a hug.
I just didn't care anymore, I cried softly on the back of Greninja, thankful he was awake and looked just fine. I felt a few pats, and a few wet spots on the back of my jacket as well. At this point, Greninja along with all of my Pokemon were the only true family I had left, and couldn't bare to watch any of them get hurt.
We stood there for a few minutes, until Greninja just pushed me off of him. Must've been too stubborn to keep hugging me like that, or his hubris wouldn't allow me to hug him any further. After all, Greninja is very unexpressive on the outside.
Finally, Professor Sycamore arrived riding on his Garchomp. He looked worried sick, and very tired still.
"Ash, how do you have this much energy this early in the morning-"
He questioned very softly as he was half awake. I simply shrugged, not realizing what time it was. It was currently 7:04 A.M. Rush hour for the War was generally in another 26 minutes.
"Another question: how is Greninja Fully Healed when all he did last night was sleep?"
That idea had just hit my mind, and I was clueless on how to answer that question. I had nothing to say, as there were no marks, bruises, or scars to be seen on Greninja's Body. As if they vanished like thin air. You could've told anyone that Greninja hadn't been injured and was fine and they probably would've believed you.
"I swear, Greninja's Mysteriousness is on par with the mysteriousness of Mew! How does this keep getting bigger and bigger! First the Bond Phenomenon Thing, then the Bracelet, and now self healing!?!"
Professor Sycamore blurted out loud while pulling on his hairs again. I simply laughed along with Pikachu and Greninja.
"But Ash, what's the plan for Today?"
Professor Sycamore said trying to be serious again. I just gave him a little grin and responded,
"We are going to go back to the Old Battlefield and trying to find N."
Professor Sycamore quickly replied with,
"N?! Why are we trying to find N!?!"
"I wanna see N to make sure he's ok, for one. And for two, Imma need him to hear the inner voices of some of my Pokemon."
I told Professor Sycamore as he gave the most confused look I'd seen in a long while.
"Ash, you understand Pokemon well yourself. Why do you need N to translate them?"
Professor Sycamore protested while his Garchomp restrained him from getting closer to me.
"Well sometimes, I want a second opinion. And again, I wanna ensure he is ok. I wanna make sure he is safe since he doesn't really like to battle, and war is all about battles..."
I told Professor Sycamore as he let out a sigh of despair. I don't think he liked the idea of me trying to find N, which was honestly strange since I thought he'd actually agree.
"Ash, I just don't want you getting hurt or your Pokemon. I can't imagine what would happen if you got captured."
Professor Sycamore exclaimed with despair in his voice. He was being honest in this moment, and letting loose some feelings, so I reassured him,
"I promise I'll be careful. I'll even bring Sawyer with me to ensure my safety. Does that make you feel better?"
He nodded trying to fake a smile, but I could tell he was lying. It was as clear as glass.
"Alright then, let's prepare for our hunt for the Man of Honor."
I told Professor Sycamore as I started heading back for the Pokemon Center with Pikachua and Greninja.
"Be Prepared, N. I have quite a long list of requests that I need answers to. Can't wait to see you, Old Pal."
