I stood motionless in front of the commander. Moonlight beamed. Wind howled at me. Behind him the crumbled clock tower took most of the view.

-"One more step and she dies!"

His gun trembled. I stared at him deadpanned and walked regardless of his threat. I walked in a circle not getting closer or farther.

-"I-I said stop!"

He shouted out of fear. I knew his best bet to get out of here with the drive was to kill me.

-"Give me the drive!"

He screamed at Cat. She flinched.

-"Don't!"

I blurted out. The leader gleamed a evil smile out to me.

-"You care for her. She was with you.....You're Smitten."

He was desperate to get a hold of the situation. So I resumed my hostile walk.

-"You know you shouldn't be the one to do accusations. Even if you kill her I could care less. If you kill her and go for the drive I'd stick this little guy... in your pathetic skull."

I said as I spun a kunai. I could see him sweating from here. He wiped his forehead with his wrist.

-"You ain't much of a fighter aren't you."

I smiled and kept circling around him. He then wrapped his arm around Cat's neck, as if he was choking. And placed his pistol on her forehead.

-"G-give it to me!"

He screamed at her ear. Cat took the drive considered it for moment and held it out of his reach.

-"God-ddamit!"

I laughed. He struggled to reach it but if he was to then Cat would be free. I smiled at Cat. She smiled. At the top of my eye I could see the Cruiser zooming from side to side. I flung a kunai near the commander's head. It was a strengthened cable kunai. It landed on a beam behind then. The leader's eyes widened.

-"I suggest you aim at me."

I said smirking. Behind my back I tied the previously thrown one with a new one in my hand. I resumed my walk to their right.

-"I told you, you slut, give it to me."

He placed his weapon on Cat's mouth. Cat choked a bit. My insides clenched. Plus my ass but that was already clenched.

Cat tried to elbow him. (By that time I realized the pattern the Cruiser was doing.) The Commander pushed the gun back towards her throat. Cat had to lean back. Using the opening, The Commander struck his elbow on Cat's chest. Since she was leaning back, she had no balance and she fell plainly on her back. The drive bounced and slid on the ground. There was a moment of silence and stillness.

I prepared to throw the kunai. But I waited. The Commander ignored Cat and dove for the drive. I waited. Cat panicked and kicked his leg but she was on the floor so it barely was effective. An evil smile drew on his face. He slowly aimed at her. Cat began to sweat.

-"Oh you have it now, you dumb bitch."

-"I beg to differ."

I interrupted, smiling.

-"I think... perhaps you are. Because, clearly, I can just kill you right now."

He was so very predictable.

-"I suggest you aim at me."

I extended my arms and grinned. He stared at me with his gun trembling. Yet he was still aiming at Cat.

-"Became I could easily do this:"

I turned around and threw the cable kunai that was tied to the previous one. It landed at the bottom of the Cruiser. I observed that the Cruiser was doing a figure eight motion. It continued the pattern. Cat then kneed the commander's leg. He dropped on one knee. And out of spite he slapped her with the back of the pistol. My fists clenched. I needed to contain myself. I was about to burst.

-"Cat stay down."

I said harshly. With my eyes I said "don't". She took the hint.

Then I heard guns cock around us. I felt a gun that laid in the back of my head.

-"Don't move."

Several armed soldiers walked up behind them. One to my right and three at my left. At that time the Cruiser did a full turn, it pulled on the two kunais which were attached to the giant beam that I mentioned earlier. The beam took flight. It soared in the air with an abrupt pull of the ship. Moonlight glistened in the dusty steel. I saw everything in slow motion now. The giant metal beam bounced on the ground and nearly floated over Cat. It pushed my opponent. Slowly his foot got trapped under it. But the steel kept going and made the commander disappear. His arm remained outside. The only thing visible was his arm holding the drive. What a way to test your luck. The soldiers around me were in shock. They froze in the death of their leader. I took this chance. I grabbed the gun behind me and I pulled the soldier forward I stretched his arm over mine and using his weapon I shot twice killing one of them armed with a rifle. I then elbowed the guy behind me on his ribs. I turned around and hammer fisted him. It fell to the ground, I picked him up and kicked his stomach. I turned at the rest of the opponents. I unsheathed my Naginata. One female trooper had a giant shield that covered her whole body. She wore a distinct, more feminine armor. Though she was a defender so she had heavily armored front armor. She was one of the first female soldiers I've seen. She went in first followed by one with a spear and behind him was a dual sword one. The one with the shield tackle me. I extended my leg to cushion his shield. The one with the spear jabbed me. I dropped my weapon and with both hands I grabbed the spear. It was hard because a giant shield was pushing me. I continued to push back the guy with the spear. I knew he was trying to push too. He thrusted with all his might I let go so he would launch forward I spun around letting go of my leg. The shield one slammed the spear one. Immediately I was rushed by the dual sword one. It did an overhead with both swords. Weaponless, i was forced to block it with my arms. So I pushed my arm on his arms so he wouldn't end up chopping my arm off. Still blocking, I hopped up and kicked him hard with both legs. We both fell to the ground and I reached behind me and grabbed my Naginata. I rolled to the side and jumped on my feet. My three opponents were basically intact. I circled them. They stayed huddled up together. I dashed to were the spear-guy was. I faked him and the defender stuck the shield to protect her ally. But I kept running and released a kunai at the defender's foot.

She screamed in pain. I kept running and I horizontally clashed with the dual wielding one. The spear one came to the rescue and lunged at me. I let go of the clash and hopped back. He slammed down on the spear. He wobbled to grab his spear. But I swiped it first and he ended up sliding on the ground. I jumped back throwing my newly won spear and the defender piercing her left breastplate right in her heart. (You could say I broke her heart) I then kicked the dual sword one and he stumbled back. I spun my Naginata ending in a downward slice. Finishing the one on the ground. Blood spilled over the sand and my right boot. The last one was sweating. I am getting tired of this. I threw down my weapon with all my strength. The blade struck the ground and pierced the dirt and mud. Dust shockwaved outwards of the blow. He backflipped back. I dashed to my weapon with all my might. And jumped as high as I could. I tilted my head down and I saw as the whole world went upside down. With the momentum of my flip, I pulled my Naginata out. The world was upright again and I slammed down with my weapon. My opponent did not expect that. He put his both swords over his head. I went in with so much strength that his weapons bounced out of his hands. I let go of mine and I rushed him. I punched his nose with my right fist. With my left I pulled his head down and with my right knee I hit him hard on his head. He flung back because of the hit. Blood pouted in the air. And with my index and middle finger I jabbed his throat. My went deep into his neck, near the tip of the I felt the wind pipe bend inside. He choked and gasped. With the pain he bent over. I kicked his stomach with the tip of my foot. He face planted the ground. It was alive but it was dying because of the wind pipe. I walked forward picking up my Naginata. I couldn't look. I heard him gasp and squirm. Something pulled my leg. I looked back at it was him gasping. With his hand he gestured to a gun. With his index finger and thumb extended. I knew what he meant. I reached under my left armpit and pulled out my pistol. I looked away and I pulled the trigger.
