Mitch's POV

We were about to leave when out of no where Echo, Sora, Zach, and Soul came running into the mess hall calling for Jerome. And this is what I saw, I saw Soul carrying Sky on her back. I also noticed that Sky was passed out on her back. I was snapped back into reality when Sora asked me something:

"What are we going to do General MItch? I'm really about Soul and Sky. I mean Soul isn't looking to good and I'm really worried about King Sky." Sora said nervously while looking away at Soul who was following Seto and Quentin to another room still carrying Sky. Everyone else was still in the Mess Hall and were talking amongst themselves.

"I don't know, all we can do right now is hope for the best that Sky will get better. By the way did something happen on your way back to the base?" I asked Sora who was shifting from foot to foot anxiously.

Relunctently, she answered " Well, it went something like this...."

When Sora finished explaining what happened, I was quiet shocked and surprised at the same time. I mean wow. Who would have guessed that a single recruit could develop a crush on Sky after being here for only one day? Huh, I thought to myself as I headed off in the direction that Seto, Quentin, and Soul went. I found myself standing infront of Sky's room. I sighed and walked into the room, as calm as I could manage. When I entered the room, I saw that Sky was still passed out, except he was on his bed. Seto and Quentin were talking off to the side, and Soul was sitting next to next Sky's bed. I walked over to her.

"Hey, you ok? If you're worried about Sky, then don't worry about it. Sky would never give that easily." I said hoping that would cheer her up.

She looked up at me and smiled a small smile at me.

"Thanks. That's exactly what I needed to hear. I really like him, and I can't stand the thought of him being harmed by Herobrine or by the Squids. Why would they do this to him!?!? HE DOESN'T DESERVE ANY OF THIS!!!!" Soul said with tears streaming down her face.

I wish I could tell her, but Sky doesn't anyone else to know his secret. I was surprised by what she did next. She got out of the chair and hugged me. She began to cry into my shoulder.

"W-why does t-this have to h-happen to h-him? He didn't do a-anything to d-deserve this." she sobbed into my shoulder, thus soaking it.

"Shhhhh, Shhhhh, it's okay Soul. It's going to be okay. I'll make sure that Sky makes a full recovery if that'll make you feel better?" I said hoping that would stop her from crying any more.

Luckily it did and she wiped away her tears. She eventually climbed into the chair she was originally in, and soon fell asleep. I walked over to Seto and Docter Q, to see what they were talking about.

Seto's POV

I walked over to Soul and told her to follow me and I called Quentin to follow me as well. I brought them to Sky's room. I looked at Soul, and saw that she was trying really hard not to fangirl right now. I smiled at her and saw that she was really nervous deep down in her heart. She finally worked up the courage to ask something that was on her mind.

"Is this King Sky's bedroom?" She asked trying not to squeal in delight.

"Yes it is. Can you go place Sky on his bed over there." I pointed over to Sky's bed.

"Okay" Soul replied and brought Sky to his bed. She placed Sky carefully onto his bed.

I smiled at her, and I motioned for Quentin to follow me. All he did was nod and follow me over to the opposite side of the room.

"What's up Seto?" Quentin asked knowing exactly what was on my mind.

"It's Sky. He is in grave danger." I said urgently.

"I think we all knew that Sky was in danger Seto. Now what's the real reason you called me over here." Quentin said with the "Is that what your really going to start this conversation off with" face.

"Okay you caught me. The truth is, I think Sky hasn't fully recovered yet and I think he's pushing himself a bit too hard. I know that there are limits to what his Brine powers can do." I said calmly.

I saw that Quentin was staring at me wide eyed. I turned around and saw that Mitch was walking over to us.

"What ever you do don't tell anybody about this and I think Sky's pushing himself that we aren't about him. Thats Sky for you, he can be so stubborn sometimes but he can be so concerned about us at the same time. But what ever you don't mention this to anybody else." I said quickily.

Quentin nodded his head showing that he understood and quickly changed the topic.

"So do you want me watch over him and tend to any injuries that he may have gotten when the squids got him, or what?" asked Quentin who was good at masking the existence of any topic.

"Yes that would be good idea and- oh Mitch do you need anything?" I asked in my usual calm tone.

"Yes actually, I would like to watch over Sky with Quentin that way Soul can get some sleep and stop worrying about Sky." Mitch said confirming that he was doing it whether we said yes or not.

And to his surprise and let alone Quentin's surprise, this is what I decided to say.

"Sure why not, besides once something gets in your head Mitch, its hard to get it out of your head." I said laughing a bit as I said this.

I start to walk away but Quentin stopped me.

"What is it Quentin?" I asked with a questioning look on my face.

"Are you sure about Mitch helping me watch over Sky? I mean I'm sure that I can manage it on my own." said Quentin.

"Yes I'm sure, besides we need all the protection we can get right now. I don't know what your thinking but Sky is in grave danger if you haven't noticed yet. Besides I know what I'm doing Quentin." as I said this, I was already walking out of the room. I left Quentin dumb struct in Sky's room with Mitch and Soul.

"Do I really know what I'm doing?" I thought to myself as walked back to everyone else in the Dining Room.
