Sonance Pov
It's been a week since Bart entered the speed force. We have a week till Skyler's 16 birthday. She's been mopping for the past week. Today I'm gonna take her out get ready for her birthday ball. 

"Hay Sky." I said opening her door meeting a pillow to my face. 

"Go away Sonance. "

"Now that's no way to treat your best friend." We've been friends since I was in the League. When I was sent to Gotham Talia thought me to fight and I met Sky we clicked and we were partners until we went to Gotham and joined the Bat Family. 

"Don't care S leave me be." She said face in her pillow. I pulled her by her hair. 

"Ow ow ow S that hurts!" She yelled. 

"I'll stop when you get in the shower and get ready."

"Fine." She got up and grabbed some clothes and makeup and headed to the bathroom.
She got out and we're heading down stairs. 

"Hay Skyler." Tim said. 

"Fuck off not in the mood to talk." She said surprising everyone because she hasn't been mean to Tim since dating Bart. I guess that changed. 

"Sky calm the fuck down."Jason said. 

"I would be calm if I wasn't dragged from my bed don't you think Todd." She said rolling her eyes. 

"Hay Sky let's just go out for a bit right you got your license." I knew she did you can get your license at 15 she got hers last month. 

"Yea". She said in a board tone. 

"Then let's go." 

"Fine. Father can a borrow one of your multiple cars." Bruce nodded and she went to the garage. I waited for her to pull up out front.

"Hay Sonance. " Jason said. 

"Yea Jason."

"Make sure she's ok and has fun ok I hate seeing her like this."

"No problem Jason." I said. Skyler pulled up. 

"Get in the car bitch."  Jason's jaw dropped. He doesn't know our names we call each other. 

"Skyler why would you call her that." she just rolled her eyes. 

"Coming hoe." I yelled jumping into the car and Jason finally got it. 

"So where are we going." Skyler asked.

"Dress shop for your birthday ball." Skyler groaned. 

"Why can't it be Damian's year."

"Because Damian had his last year and his birthday ball is the next day." 

"FUCK!"Skyler yelled. 

"Hay at least you don't have to dance if you don't want to."

"True fine let's go."

We went to the movies and watched the fate and the furious. We got our belly button pierced. ate chick fil A  spent the entire day outside. 

"So Sky do you feel a bit better." I asked hoping she would be happy. 

"Yea I feel a bit happy but I miss him."

"I know you do Sky but don't worry in a week you'll be sixteen and we'll be partying." I said put my hand in her shoulder. 

"I know." She sighs. 

"Then let's go get those dresses." I said in excitement and we speed away. We got our dresses for Skyler's party and Damian's. I honestly couldn't wait till Skyler's birthday Bart hopefully was coming back from the speed force. 

"Hay S what are you thinking about." Skyler asked me. 

"Nothing just thinking."

"About?"

"What's gonna happen on my birthday."

"Nothing can top you fifteenth birthday."

"True hanging everyone from there underwear and hiding there uniforms were best. Remember Bart's face..." she started to go on smiling. 

"Its nice to see you smile again Sky."

"Yea better than mopping." Then we heard a scream then crying. 

"What do you say Blue Jay and Siren back at it again." i  pulled out my costume. 

"You know it." I said putting on my costume and mask.

After we parked the car in a car park we went on top of a building watching in horror. Skyler couldn't take it anymore even though her father said to wait for backup. A girl around 8 or 9 was about to get raped. Skyler jumped from the building and I followed. She knocked the guy out in 4.7 seconds witch was slow. The girl was crying in the corner she kinda looked like Skyler with blonde hair and brown eyes. As I tied up the man who was obviously drunk. I waited for the GCPD to come and Skyler walked up to the little girl.

Skyler's Pov
"Please don't hurt me." The little girl cowered. 

"I'm not gonna hurt you." 

"Promise?" The little girl asked and did something I always did to Bart she put her pinky out and I took it. 

"I promise." 

"How can I trust you you're hiding your face." She did have a point so I did something I would never do for anyone else. I took off my mask and showed her my face. 

"Don't tell anyone ok." 

"I promise. "

"Wanna tell me your name hunny." I said in my most calming voice. 

"My name is Anna."

"Well Anna can you tell me why you were out here by yourself."

"My mama was killed. I was going to my daddy." She said and a tear except her eyes. 

"How did she die" I asked wiping here tear away. 

"A man broke in and shot her when I was...hiding w-when he left I started running to my ...daddy's house because they don't live together.... and that man attacked m-me." She stuttered out her words full on crying now. 

"Were does you dad live."

"On the other side of Gotham." I was surprised she was going to walk there by herself. 

"Ok you know what I'll take you there ok." I said holding her close to me to settle her crying.

"Ok. you'll protect me?" She asked in my chest. 

"Promise" I said and put back on my mask.

Sonance Pov
'Skyler is really good with kids I never knew that' I thought to myself as I watched Skyler comfort that little girl. 

"You take this peace of crap to the cops and I'll take Anna over here to her father." Skyler said to me as she brought a little girl in her arms. 

"Ok I'll tell Batman we're you are ok." I said to her as she got onto her motorcycle that she summoned and got on with the little girl. 

The GCPD came and took the scumbag to jail. I told Bruce we're Skyler went and we waited for her to come back. 

Skyler's Pov
"Hello Mr.Murphy I'm sorry to say your ex wife is dead." I told the man that and he was in a panic. 

"What about my daughter is Anna ok where is she!" He said shaking my shoulders I just smirked and the little girl ran out to her father. 

"Thank you so much ms ms?"

"Blue Jay my name is Blue Jay."

"Thank you Blue Jay I don't know what I've would have done if I lost her." He said. Anna came running to me and hugged me. 

"Be safe Anna ok and stay close to your dad you don't know how long you'll have him." I told her and we pinky promised. This was the happiest I've been seeing a child so happy. I couldn't help but smile I guess Sonance took the car home when I went there it was already parked so I went to the Bat cave smiling.

Sonance Pov
When Skyler came back she was smiling and not normal smiling. She was smiling like how she was with Bart. 

"What's got you so happy." I said smirking. 

"If you only saw the joy that father had when he found out his daughter was alive. It was amazing."

"Well it's good to see you smiling at least." I said getting up and hugging her. 

"Best girls day ever wouldn't trade it." She said heading for the shower.

"Yep we had fun got our outfits and got to be our old tag team." I said as she came out from her shower in sleeping clothes. 

"Well let's end this on a movie." She said. Holding Insurgent. 

"I'll make the popcorn." I yelled 

"Extra butter!" She yelled from across the room. 

Jason,Dick,Tim,Damian,Bruce and even Alfred joined us but we didn't finish watching it. We all fell asleep on each other. I fell asleep on Damian . Sky fell asleep on Jason. Jason fell asleep in Dick. Dick fell asleep on Bruce Damian fell asleep on Skyler. Bruce fell asleep on himself and Alfred went to his room. I was honestly nice we acted normal ish as possible and it was the first time Skyler was happy sine Bart. It was nice.
