Summer's P.O.V
Oh, what could be a better feeling than sitting on your cold hard chair, while tapping impatiently on the corner of you graffitied desk? Hmm everything.

"Okay class only ten minutes left" boomed the teacher at the front of the class. We are in the middle of a math trial test. No one like, no one gives two skittles about. I groaned in annoyance as I laid my  on top of the hard table.

"I suggest you check over your work" yelled Mr Homes with excitement.

I suggest you shut up. Spoke that voice at the back of my head.

Wandering why his excited? Well apparently he likes marking our test papers to find our final scores. Weird, I know.

I sighed in annoyance, still ten minutes remaining. I started mumbling the words to the 'jungle book' until I felt someone poking my side. With all my laziness I turned my head up to see Ashton nailing my rib cage.

"Psst, Psst Summer!" He whisper yelled. I wanted to laugh at the retarded face he was holding while trying to poke me. But I couldn't be loud.

"What do you want Ashton" I whisper yelled back.

"You want to come by my place after school?" He asked curiously, hmm I could sleep or.....okay you can't deny this kids puppy eyes. Do I have anything to do after school? Nope.

"Sure, I just need to call mom and let her know" I returned the same giant smile that Ashton was holding on his face. Me and Ashton have been friends for at least four years now, his truly always been there for me, no matter what. That's why I love him, in a brotherly way of course. We both already had our chat of never been able to date, kiss or like each other.....yeah that was awkward.

"Alright that's gr-" the bell cut ashton mid sentence as we all stood up in relief.

"Alright students please hand in your papers on the way out" exclaimed a very energetic Mr Homes.

I couldn't blame him, his been divorced most his life and has nothing but his students grades to look forward too. After I gave him my paper, I headed straight to the bathroom making sure i looked like a normal human being.

I packed up my locker for the weekend as I felt someones presence behind me. Its a monster. Yelled that very annoying voice in my head.

"Oh hey Asht-" I couldn't finish my sentence since I was engulfed into a huge bear hug. Like a huge one.

"SUM-BOO!!!" Only one person in the world calls me that. I instantly turned around facing my older brother Jake.

"JAKEY!" I hugged back with the same energy, I honestly could use a hug. "wait.....WHY ARE U HERE?!"

"What? so I can't come for the weekend to visit my baby sis?" He spoke sarcastically with his deep husky voice. Jake had brown messy hair and green eyes. He actually looked a lot like me, which just made us closer.

"No not unless you have a legit reason" I said back with a huge grin on my face, and my hands on my hips in mock of annoyance. Jake's face dropped within seconds, I couldn't help but laugh.

"I'm busy I'm going over to Ashton's today" Jake gave me a knowing look. You know THE look.

"Oh your boyfriend" Yeah that look, his always thought that me and Ashton are dating but thats just messed up. I mean his like my second brother for god sakes.

"EWWW no he is just a friend." I exclaimed. Jake gave me a nod in disapproval and pinched my cheeks as if i was a child. Not this again!

"I'm going now" I called out as a I ran to get my bag. Jakes laughter was the last thing i heard before i ran out.

I began making my way out of the school and into the car park. When i finally found ashton we both threw our bags into the trunk and started to drive off.

During the car ride home we jammed out to Backstreet Boys and and made a small talk about school every here and there.

"Umm...Summer I just want you to know we have a visitor over, for awhile" said Ashton with a hint of worry in his voice. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion and slowly nodded in response.

"My cousin is staying for the year"

"Oh...ok" I said just as Ashton parked the car in the driveway of his huge house. I guess his pretty rich.

We both walked in together while Ashton kissed his mom on the cheek and I talked to Mr Irwin, Ashtons dad, about school, parents that stuff.

After few minutes passed a extremely tall boy, with perfectly styled blonde hair,
beautiful blue eyes and a black lip ring walked in to the room. He was honestly breath taking.

"Oh well looks like I have to introduce" rambled Ashton uncomfortably, as he stood up from the sofa.

"Well Summer this is my cousin Luke and Luke this is my friend Summer"
stumbled ashton carefully.

"I- uh it's nice to meet you" I gave him a warm welcoming smile which he didn't return, his face remained emotionless. I extended my hand out to shake, but he just stared at it and mumbled a whatever before walking away.

"What's his problem" I asked disappointed. Did i say something bad? Is there something on my face?

Ashton stared at me for what felt like hours. He kept shifting on his spot uncomfortably. Honestly him been quite was scaring me. I gave him the is-everything-good look before he finally replied.

"He's been like this ever since his parents died, he was really close to them, actually they were all he cared about before they...moved on. Forever. Luke instantly became a whole new person. Even though its been awhile after his parents death, his still different. Luke was the happiest person I knew before what happened" replied Ashton sadly. I was honestly not expecting anything like that... So this kid Luke has changed ever since his parents died. I was speechless.

"Oh" I whispered .

"I didn't really know what else I could do but I felt like it was my duty to make Luke happy again, no one deserves to go through what he's going through."

"When did his parents umm you know-" i spoke uncomfortably. But ashton caught what i was trying to say quickly.

"Die? when we were both 13, there death was never really solved, they were stabbed to death, but no one knows by who" I looked at Ashton wide eyes, as he looked to the ground sadly. Luke's parents died and he doesn't even know by who. That's so messed up i thought. Out of all of this there was something for sure.

Behind his gorgeous looks his just a broken man that needs help repairing.
