Very sorry about the century-like wait! I've had a rather busy summer, tons of homework, and lots of appointments. I promise that the updates to this will be more regular from now on, I swear!

... Only for Stevie to curse and hop around as Y/N managed to stomp on his right foot, without Paige noticing.

Paige just sighed and rolled her eyes with a bored expression on her face.

The usher then turned away, muttering quietly to herself.

Y/N caught a few words: "Stupid ... drunken idiot ..."

She personally couldn't argue with that!

Y/N thanked her stars that she'd managed to stop Stevie from spilling the secret too early.

If the truth gets leaked too soon, who KNOWS WHAT'LL HAPPEN TO THE TIMELINE?!

She then sensed Stevie glowering at her, obviously very upset and almost at the verge of a total freak-out.

Y/N sighed, reached out and patted Stevie on the back a little as he looked at her.

Stevie huffed, but didn't say anything.

He's right to be concerned, I guess, but ...

A familiar voice suddenly snapped Y/N back to full attention.

"Come on, Parker! We'll have to find the producer ourselves!"

Y/N spun around just in time to see the ever-annoying Jonathan and the tired Parker walking off into the darkness of the studio.

No, no, no! Don't do that, you idiot! Darn it!

Y/N cursed as she watched Jonathan dragging the bored Parker off to trouble.

Why didn't I stop them?! Oh wait, yeah, the timeline would probably implode altogether if I told them now.

Now Paige had noticed the abrupt, and apparently not allowed, departure of Jonathan and Parker.

"Hey! You can't go back there!"

The page was now starting to run after the duo.

Y/N then suddenly had an idea.

A crazy idea to be sure, but it just might work!

She turned to Stevie.

"Stevie, I want you to go with Paige, okay? Do NOT leave her side for a second, you understand?"

Stevie looked unsure and a bit mistrusting.

"Hopefully, we'll get this mess sorted out quickly; but she's the person that you'll be safest with. Okay?"

Y/N looked earnestly and pleadingly at Stevie, who still looked unsure.

"Trust me on this, please!"

Y/N then facepalmed, groaning loudly.

"Gosh darn it, I'm the one who SAVED you earlier, remember? I'm trying to save all of us!"

Stevie sighed irritably, then nodded and ran off after Paige.

Y/N let out a long, slow breath of relief as she turned back and walked over to Austin, Zoe, and Harley.

Phew! Hopefully that will keep the idiot from getting himself killed, and I can rescue the others without that donkey of an imbecile on my tail!

Harley looked around at Y/N as she approached, and smiled at her.

He seemed a bit crestfallen though.

Harley looked up at Austin.

"What about our pictures?" he said sadly.

Austin, being a good big brother, immediately tried to comfort Harley.

"Um, I'm sure that she'll be back!"

Austin then inclined his head towards the stationary animatronics.

"Besides, this is great! You've got the Splits all to yourself!"

Y/N then smiled down at Harley.

"Yeah! This is your special day; go and enjoy yourself more!"

Before the horror really starts ... Y/N thought.

Harley nodded excitedly, smiling widely.

He then turned to Zoe and took one of her hands.

"Come on!!"

Harley practically dragged Zoe up to the Banana Splits, with Austin and Y/N following behind.

Harley and Zoe stopped right in front of the robots.

Austin and Y/N standing right behind the kids.

Harley waved at the Splits.

"Hi! I'm Harley! And this is my friend: Zoe!"

The animatronics remained stationary and silent, eerily so.

Harley then turned to look at Zoe.

"Say hi."

Zoe smiled awkwardly and did a brief, sketchy wave at the Banana Splits.

"Uhhh ... what's up?"

Still silence from the animatronic actors.

Y/N could almost feel the tenseness in the air, the faint feeling that something was wrong ... somehow.

Even Harley and Zoe were beginning to sense it too.

Harley cocked his head suddenly as he looked at Drooper.

"Why is Drooper all wet? And his ears wonky?"

The alcohol-soaked lion animatronic instantly moved forward with a jerk and squeal of mechanics; lowering his head to directly face the two kids.

Y/N held her breath, feeling nervous.

Don't do anything bad, Drooper, please!

Drooper then offered a paw to Zoe to high five, like he had done in the original timeline.

Zoe looked at Harley, and then high-fived Drooper, smiling more genuinely this time.

Drooper then moved backwards and straightened up, resuming his still pose from the start.

Y/N sighed with relief.

She had been momentarily scared for Harley and Zoe.

Harley then frowned.

"Where's Snorky?"

Y/N suddenly realized too that the elephant was gone.

Oh yes, I remember this part! He goes after Beth and Mitch to spy on them!

That thought then brought on the memory of Y/N's rescue agenda, which she'd temporarily forgotten.

Jonathan and Parker get attacked by Drooper and Bingo, but that doesn't happen until later. Bingo ambushes Beth and Austin but they manage to beat him ... maybe? I might have to check in on them, just in case. 

Wait a minute, Fleegle's magic trick! Thadd and Poppy! I have to ... warn ...

Y/N blinked as she looked around, only to find that the loving duo had gone.

So had Harley and Zoe, come to think of it!

And Austin!!

She turned back to the robots and gulped nervously.

...

Y/N was alone.

Except for the three insane, killer animatronics IN FRONT of her.

...

Honestly, being in a cage with a tiger would be better than this!!

Now the tension will REALLY start heating up as the game is up ... and the hunt is on!!
