I was in the middle of class when Mondo and Chihiro approached me.

I was still battered by Peko's leave, but I could not allow that to impair my judgment or leadership.

Chihiro and Mondo snapped me out of my deep thought.

Vesper: Yes, just a little dazed, I didn't sleep well.

Vesper: Then I and Celestia will get in during lunch.

I pulled a book from my bag, Bram Stoker's Dracula to be precise, and followed my bookmark.

Chihiro: H-Hey guys?

Mondo: What's up Chihiro?

I smiled slyly.

Vesper: Two if you don't keep up today.

Mondo met my smile with his own.

Vesper: The more the merrier.

I patted Chihiro on the head as Mondo gave her a bear hug.

I must say, my day would be quite saddened if not for my friends.

Kyoko: Hello.

Headmaster: The police have handed the case over to Kyoko, so please do all you can to help her investigation.

Both Mondo and Chihiro looked at me with unsure looks.
