⋆ 𝑬ntry:

⋆ 𝑬xplanation: The word I was given is "Preta". The definition is «A wandering or disturbed ghost». I decided to interpret the word "ghost" not as a spirit or a presence of a dead person, but as a haunting memory, a "something" that happened in one's past that still influences the person and their life to this day. I decided to represent the past as many roads that braid together, because from my pov the past it's made of many events that maybe don't seem to have a link one to another, but in fact all contribute to make our present as it is and to form our personality in a certain way, and also influence our future. And there's always that one thing in our past that we are not proud of, or that we fear; in fact most of us have more than one. The apple tree would be one's life; the roots are all our ghosts, our haunting memories, in our past. The present is the main part of the tree, since we tend to focus more on our present than on past and future; the branches are all the possible choices that we take everyday, and the higher & smaller branches (the top) would be the future (they're smaller/lighter cause we still don't know what is going to happen).
The apples are our goals; the darker ones are our everyday goals, the lighter ones are something we want to achieve in the future. I decided to put one on the grass; it's less saturated and my aim was to make it as if it was rotten. It's a goal that we haven't been able to reach, and now we can't go back. I wanted the trunk to be all twisted cause, again, alle the things that happened in the past kind of """mix""" together to take us to the present. I thought it would be a good idea to represent life this way, because the roots (past) are what allows the tree (present) to grow, and from the main part of the tree many little branches grow (future). Everything is connected, and a consequence of something that happened before. It may seem like the main focus isn't the "wandering or disturbed ghost anymore", I know, but from my point of view it isn't like that: everything as I said is connected and everything STARTS with the roots, with a troubled past, with haunting memories, so to me it's still the main thing in my interpretation.

⋆ 𝑪omment: you know when you do something for a long time and then you're SICK of it and you don't want to see it anymore? THAT COVER. There are some imperfections and I know that but I literally can't edit it anymore I'm soooo tired! Btw, I kinda like it, kinda not, but at this point WHATEVER!
Also I just realised I forgot to write "XFactor" u.u

Ps. The "c0oL" manips turned into drawings because I couldn't figure out how to put together the outfit I wanted lmao I'll show them when I'm done but they're SEVEN u.u
