It was early evening, and a red young hybrid wolf/fox named Ethan was watching tv he just got off the phone and was watching his favorite show C.O.P.S when suddenly his sister a gray fox came over and jumped in his lap.

''Ethan.'' She called.

He grunted as his sister landed in his lap and looks as she yanked the remote from him changing the channel.

''Hey Winter, I was watching that!'' He protested as he tried to snatch the remote, but the young vixen jumped back and out of the way.

''Too slow big brother.'' She teased.

''Come on Winter you had it yesterday.'' Ethan shouts as he tries to get it from his sister.

''Still, you don't need to watch stupid people get caught.'' She grins.

Suddenly the remote left her hand and she saw Esmerelda who had it and went to the couch slithering next to Ethan.

''Winter, in the back room the tv is free if you want to watch something.'' Esmeralda replied.

''Great!'' She took off.

''Thanks Esme.'' Ethan smiled at his friend.

''No problem.'' She smiles.

The door opened and they heard arguing as a gray male shark came in  carrying a couple boxes of pizza as he was dressed in a pizza guy uniform followed by a red shark and they were talking about something.

''Hey guys. What took you so long?'' Asked Esmerelda.

''Sorry someone here had to keep stopping to use the bathroom.'' Ariel the red shark replied rolling her eyes at her brother.

''What can I say that dumb beaver challenged me to a drink off how could I refuse?'' He asked.

''What challenge?'' Asked Esmerelda who was curious.

''He bet I couldn't out drink him with slushies and I won and i acted like a delivery guy and brought the pizza.'' He smiles.

''So who won?'' Asked Ethan looking at the shark.

''I did I ended up with 50 bucks.'' Finn laughed showing the money.

''Yeah after downing 10 cups of slushie.'' Arial shook her head as she went to sit in between Ethan and Esmerelda.

''Way to go Finn!'' Esmerelda winks at the shark.

''Thanks!'' He said as he placed the pizza on the table and rubbed his tummy and sat in the couch chair.

Suddenly a cute red panda came in and saw the pizza. ''Yay pizza!'' Shouted Teddy.

''Yep.'' Ariel said as she got two plates. ''Winter is in the back room right?''

''Yeah watching something.'' Ethan replied as he got pizza as well.

Ariel and Winter were close they were best friends and she went into the room that was designed as a bedroom with some bean chairs, a couple of mattresses big enough for two of them as they there was a big tv in the room.

''Hey Winter.'' Ariel replied.

''Hi Ariel.'' She replied as she was on her phone.

''What's been going on?'' Asked Ariel as she laid on her stomach next to Winter.

''Nothing same as usual. Dad working overttime on a case and mom selling houses like crazy.

"I get it. My mom is at a clients house helping them get planned for their wedding." Ariel smiles.

"What are you doing back here?" Asked Winter taking the pizza.

"Hanging out here with you. Besides Finn just downed 10 slushies so it's gonna get smelly." Ariel chuckled.

"Oh no someone challenge him again?" She asked.

"Yep a beaver." Ariel replied.

"Got a picture of him?" Asked Winter slyly.

"Sure I do but he's out of your league." Ariel rolled her eyes pulling out her phone.

She knew Winter loved to rated guys and flirt so she always took pictures of guys she thought were perfect.

Winter looked at the picture and frowned. "Your right he's very nerdy." She shrugs.

"Told you. Besides we both know your just itching to see Arron to flirt with him."Ariel laughs.

"Shut up. He likes me ok and I use it to my advantage." Winter laughs.

Back in the main room, Ethan, Esmeralda, Finn, and Teddy were eating pizza and watching C.O.P.S.

"Man how dumb do you have to be to get caught?" Asked Teddy.

"Simple minded people really. They think they are invincible." Ethan said.

"Or high that they don't care." Finn replied letting out a long loud burp.

"Gross man you need to use mouthwash." Esmeralda complained making a face.

"I brought some." Finn answered as he drank some.

"Well as long as we are caught by junior officer Abby the Finn can charm his way out." Ethan teased knowing the crush is buddy had on the junior officer.

They all laughed and Finn smirked. "I hope it's Arron that way all Winter has to do is flirt and show her boobs and we are free." Finn shot back.

Ethan growls turning red. He was very protective of his little sister and wasn't fond of the attachment crush Junior officer Arron had on Winter.

"Not while I'm around." Ethan snapped.

"You know as well as we do she has a thing for him." Esmeralda shrugged placing her tail on Ethan's shoulder.

"Still, when dad isn't around it's my job to take care of her." Ethan replied.

They all laughed.

Later Winter and Ariel came out and they all decided to play a card game.

They were at the table laughing and drinking soda as they played Uno.

It was a good time Ethan looked around and smiled. He loves his friends who he considers family.
