Chapter 2: JAL

Logan wakes up to see his friends locked inside a giant metal and glass containment unit cell. He tries to use his claws... but they don't work.

The X-Men were now being walked into a giant hall room that looked like a court room a bit. Around them were different types heroes seated, looking at them. Floating by a post was Scratch the Ghost eating chips. The mutants now look up at the heroes in power-damaging cuffs now waiting judgment.

"Pedestrians... you now stand before the Justice Avenger League. It is here that the top heroes will decide what to do with you." Scratch said.

"The who?" Logan said with a puzzled look.

Suddenly a green hooded figure appeared from a zip line. He then looks down at them with a glare.

"Green Arrow, leader of the Justice League. Master Archer and hero of Star City."

A streak of red with yellow lightning came in revealing a man in a red and gold suit with a gold and white lightning symbol on his chest.

"The Flash, Fastest Man Alive and hero of Central City."

A blue suited red caped woman came flying down with a red S symbol on her chest.

"Supergirl the Kryptonian, daughter of Krypton. Hero of National City."

A portal opened up revealing a blonde woman in a white suit appeared.

"White Canary. Former assassin of the League of Shadows. Captain and Leader of the Legends, time traveling heroes."

A black red hair suited woman came down in a dark dramatic way.

"Batwoman. Vigilante hero of Gotham City. One of the Gotham Knights."

A man in a suit with the American flag colors with wings came flying down holding a shield.

"Captain America. The first Avenger."

A gold yellow portal opened revealing a man in a blue robe with a red cape.

"Doctor Steven Strange, Sorcerer of the Mystic Arts. Protector of New York City."

Two spider type figures then came swinging down.

"Spider-Man and Venom. Heroes of New York City."

A blue truck with red flames drove in and transforms into a giant robot. He looks at the X-Men with his blue optics.

"Optimus Prime the Cybertronian.  Leader of the Autobots from the planet Cybertron. Hero of Metropolis."

A tan colored orc came in swinging his hammer in a warrior way before putting it down.

"Orgrim Doomhammer the Frostwolf Meta-orc, second-in-command of the Frostwolf Clan."

A giant black dragon then flew down to his spot, looking down at the nervous mutants.

"Neltharion the Earth Aspect Dragon. One of the five Aspect Dragons. Protector of all Earth."

A giant red and metal colored Dinotrux came rolling in with a friendly look on his face.

"Ty-rux the T-trux. Leader of the Dinotrux. Heroes who are Master Builders. They helped in construction work for the world."

A bunch of colorful ninjas appeared out of a smokescreen.

"The 14 Elemental Ninja. Protectors of the continent Ninjago."

A werewolf in a black suit in a mask appeared before them, surprising the mutants.

"Black Wolf the Werewolf, leader of the Wolf Night Patrol. Hero of Milford City."

A group of animals appeared in super suits. A wolf, a snake, a tarantula, a shark, a piranha, a Komodo dragon, and a hyena.

"The Bad Guys. Mr. Wolf, Mr. Snake, Ms. Tarantula, Mr. Shark, Mr. Piranha, Mr. Komodo, and Mr. Hyena. Former criminals now heroes of the JAL. Heroes of Los Angeles."

"Whoa..." Kurt said amazed by them.

"So are you guys mutants too?" Kitty asked.

After saying that instantly cause everyone to growl or glare at them for saying that.

"HEY! That's a cruel word to use, hermano!" Piranha growled with lightning sparking off him.

"We're not mutants! We're meta-humans. BIG difference." Mick Rory aka Heatwave said.

"Whoa, sorry!" Kitty said.

"Where are we?!" Logan demanded.

"You're in the Hall of Justice." Flash said to them.

"We are the heroes and protectors of our Earth. We formed this League to stand up against greater threats." Orgrim Doomhammer said.

"Who are you guys exactly?" Neltharion said in a deep voice.

"We're the X-Men." Kurt said confidence.

"The who?" Piranha said confused.

"Sorry, we never heard of you." Shuri said.

"Seriously?" Logan said.

"We've never heard of you nor of mutants." Drago said to the X-men.

"How can that be?" Fred Dukes said.

"This only means one thing." Webs said.

"You guys are from a different universe." Hulk said.

"What do you mean... different universe?" Lance asked.

"There are infinite number of Earths. The multverse is a hypothetical set of parallel universes that include our own universe, as well as others with different initial conditions. In an infinite multiverse, all outcomes will be realized. In simple terms, the multiverse is like a tree, with every decision that results in a different outcome representing a different branch." Batwoman said.

"So where are we?" Scott Summers asked.

"You're in Earth-Prime." Green Arrow said.

"Earth-Prime is one of main earths in the Multiverse." Ty-rux said.

"There was a crisis about a few weeks ago. A wave of anti-matter nearly destroyed all earths in existence, but thanks to the Bad Guys, they were able to undo the affect. But unfortunately, some Earths were changed dramatically." Optimus Prime said.

"So than that means..." Jean said.

"I'm afraid you're the only survivors of your Earth before it was change." Kara said which shocks the X-men as they look sad and upset.

"You guys are now gonna have to get use to living here now." Black Lightning said.

"We understand." Charles said to them. They were then released from their cuffs.

After them settling down, the mutants were shown around and saw many amazing things. Logan was still amazed to see how the people accepted so many creatures of so many kinds. He then saw a dragon fly by the window.

"Quite a view."

Logan turns to see Oliver, Barry, Wolf, Snake, walk up to him.

"Yeah... it's still so hard to see a world like this." Logan said.

"I take it that people on your Earth didn't really accept people who looked and had different abilities." Oliver said.

"No... people saw us as freaks and didn't want anything to do with us." Logan said.

"I'm sorry to hear that but on our world... people aren't afraid of us and accepted us for who we are." Snake said.

"Are you sure there are no mutants here?" Logan asked.

"I'm sorry but there are no mutants here, only metas." Wolf said to Logan.

"Actually... there are two mutants that live here on our Earth. They're metas as well, but mutants." Barry said.

"Really? Well, we'd love it if we could meet them." Logan said.

"Okay, but heads up: these two are tough, wild, and really... childish." Barry warned.

Coast City

There was a school in the city. The school-bell rang signaling that school was over for the summer. Many kids came running out, boys and girls running to their parents. One of them was a blonde hair boy, red shirt, black shorts, and a Glamrock Fazbear Backpack. His name was Tyler Zeck Steranko.

"Hey Tyler!"

Tyler turns to see 3 of his friends, Avery, Mack, and Joey walk to him.

"Hey guys!" Tyler said.

"You want to hang out later?" Mack asked.

"Sorry, I can't. My parents are taking me on a trip to Central City for a few weeks. But I'll FaceTime you guys." Tyler said.

"So where are your parents?" Avery asked.

And just like that, the sound of roaring engines came by. Two big muscle thugs came driving by the school.  But these weren't any common thugs. These were Anton Zeck and Ivan Steranko, aka Bebop the Warhog and Rocksteady the Rhino. Tyler's adopted parents who love him.

"Hey Tyler! Ready to go!" Rocksteady shouts to his son.

"That's them, see you guys!" Tyler said as he hops on Bebop's back seat, putting on his helmet and holding on tight.

"Hold on son, next stop: Central City." Bebop said as they drive off.

After a few minutes, Bebop, Rocksteady, and Tyler finally made it to their apartment in the meta city. Tyler went ahead to play his games as the two mutants drank some beers. The two bro mutants then thought back to when they first met Tyler.

Flashback
Central City

The two mutants were just coming back from pulling off a job at vigilantes. At times, they would steal some stuff without raising any eyebrows. They come to their apartment to see a 5 year old kid going through their stuff, eating some food and drinks.

"Hey, hey. Kid! How'd you get in here? How'd you get past our..."

The kid then threw at them a orb-like robot.

"Security Drone." Rocksteady said looking at it deactivated.

"I have a name you know." Tyler responded, not looking up from his examination of the game cartridges. "It's Tyler."

Tyler walked forward into the room, closing the door behind him, and looked at his surroundings. He took in all the half-eaten bags of snacks, clothes strewn all over the place, random games and junk piled up in various corners, two small brown beat-up looking recliners facing a junky looking TV. Tyler smirked again.

"Nice place you got here." he added sarcastically, walking around the room as he examined the various posters and piles of junk he saw Rocksteady and Bebop looked at the boy, completely dumbstruck.

What was with this kid? They were barely even processing the fact that he was HERE, somehow, and now he was walking around their room like they'd invited him in. Rocksteady glared as the kid began rummaging through a pile of his clothes near the bathroom.

"Hey, dat's my stuff kid, stop it!" he exclaimed with annoyance, jumping to his feet and walking over to grab Tyler by the shoulder, pulling him away from the pile of clothes.

"What do you think you're doing?" he asked.

"Thought I check your place out." Tyler said matter-of- factly, walking past Rocksteady back towards the
center of the room. As he passed the TV, something
caught his eye, and he dropped to his knees in front of the huge pile of cables underneath.

"Hey! You got a Battle Nexus Il!? Cool!" he exclaimed, pulling the boxy video game system out of the tangle of wires." He turned his attention to the small box of cartridges lying next to the TV stand and began to rummage, oohing and ahing over several games he found.

Rocksteady and Bebop looked at each other, feeling at a loss. Neither of them knew exactly how to handle this bizarre situation.

"Hey!" Tyler suddenly exclaimed, startling the mutants. He held up a scratched looking video game cartridge.

"Alien Slug Monsters from Planet X 3!? I've been dying to play this, is it any good?" he asked.

"Uh. uh. yeah it's pretty cool, I guess." Rocksteady
answered, feeling completely awkward. Was this kid
really trying to make small talk with them? Tyler looked up and nodded towards a poster hanging
on the wall across the room.

"Nice "Zombie Chainsaw Cheerleaders" poster by the way." he said, sincerely. "I really like that series. You know the new one just came out in theaters this week? You guys gonna see it?" he asked casually, as he turned back to the game box.

"Um, we can't exactly just go to a theater like a couple of regular guys, ya know." Rocksteady replied curtly.

"We'll probably just steal a copy when it comes out on casette." Bebop replied.

"Oh..." said Tyler, seeming a bit surprised. "Yeah, I guess you probably would." He looked around the room again, and then focused on the bunk bed.

"Who gets the top bunk and who gets the bottom?" he asked curiously.

"Or do you switch sometimes?"

Bebop smiled and laughed to himself. "Rocksteady
always gets da top bunk now. Or else he might stab me wit his horn if he sits up too fast."

"Dat only happened one time!" Rocksteady said with
annoyance.

"One was enough." Bebop replied curtly.

Rocksteady shook his head and growled, turning his
attention back to the boy. "Hey, kid, stop changing da subject. You didn' answer our question. How did ya get here!" he asked. His expression suddenly changed to worry, as he thought of a possibility.

"I managed to reprogram the drone to be shut off. You guys should get a better lock on your door. Quite an amateur lock if you ask me." Tyler said.

The kid turning around and making a beeline for the box containing the mutants' comics. Bebop snorted and cracked his knuckles, feeling more irritated by the second. "You're really starting to get on our noives you little joik." he declared.

Rocksteady nodded and began flexing his own fists
"Yeah. We don't normally fight kids, but maybe we'll
make an exception dis time."

Tyler ignored the threats and continued to rummage through the box. He began to pull out comics from the top of the stacks and toss them aside. Rocksteady let out a yelp of annoyance and stomped across the room.

"Hey, quit it kid! You're getting dem all out of order!" he exclaimed, dropping to his knees and gathering several of the comics strewn to the side.

Rocksteady clenched his fists and ground his teeth in
anger. He felt so mad he wouldn't have been surprised if steam came out of his ears, like in the Saturday morning cartoons. He'd never met any kid in his life with this much nerve. Coming into their room, poking through all their stuff, making a mess of their carefully sorted comics? Rocksteady felt like he was on the verge of just throwing hesitation out and ringing the kid's scrawny neck. He slammed his pile of comics down next to Bebop's and moved towards the kid, preparing to grab him. But in that moment the kid froze stiff, staring down at something he'd just spotted in the box. Rocksteady could see the look on the kid's face go from surprise to pent-up nostalgia to sudden ecstatic joy, in only a few instants, and the change took him by such surprise that he stopped cold, his hands inches from the back of Tyler's collar. Curiosity quickly got the better of him, and instead of grabbing the kid, Rocksteady looked over his shoulder, trying to see what had caught the boy's attention so thoroughly.
It was the big rock with crystals on it.

"You guys got the Blood Bloom. No one's every got it from the Purple Dragons." Tyler said.

"Yeah. Da Bloom was easy for us to get with our powers." Rocksteady said holding it as the two showed off their powers.

Rocksteady's were Geokinesis, the power to manipulate earth and rocks. Bebop's were creating portals and shooting powerful vibrational bursts.

"You haven't gotten the treasure yet out of the Bloom?" Tyler asked.

"Yeah, we're gonna get the treasure out of the Bloom. What—you mean the crystals?" Bebop asked.

"No, I mean the treasure." Tyler said.

"What treasure?" Bebop said.

"Inside." Tyler said as he grabs the crystal out of the Rhino's hands.

"I don't know if they— hey, hey, hey—oh!" Rocksteady said as the kid smashed the rock, revealing a large red ruby stone.

"This, is worth three times more than those little crystals." Tyler said holding it to them.

Rocksteady takes it and the two mutants looked amazed by this. All this time there was a larger ruby in the rock without them knowing! They looked at the kid surprised.

"Impressive kid. You're quite smart." Rocksteady said.

"Thanks." Tyler said as he was now leaving.

"Your parents must be proud of you." Bebop said stopping Tyler in his tracks.

"I don't... have parents. Not anymore." Tyler said sadly. The two mutants realized that the kid was an orphan. The kid then begins to leave again.

"Hey kid!" Rocksteady said. Tyler then turns back to face them.

"How'd you like to do what we do?" Rocksteady said.

"What's that?" Tyler asked.

"Being vigilantes and sometimes being thieves. Stealing from crime lords and gangs." Bebop said chuckling.

"Sounds fun." Tyler said with a smirk.

"Yeah, we think you'll be good at it." Rocksteady said. Tyler then ran over to the two and hugged them, surprising them.

So after a few months of spending time with them, the three became quite the team. But it was soon later that they realized that they became more than a team, they became a family. They showed Tyler many of their skills... and Tyler showed his skills. They saw he was a meta human with the power to control the Wind. The two came realize that they loved Tyler... as their own son. So with the help of the JAL, they were able to officially adopt Tyler, making him their own kid.

Flashback Ends

Bebop and Rocksteady were now watching Tyler play his games when they heard a knock on their door. They open it to see Flash, Green Arrow, and some other people with them.

"Barry... Oliver... what a surprise. Come on in." Rocksteady said.

They came in with Logan, Hank, Ororo, and Charles looking at them in surprise.

"Guys... meet Logan, Hank, Ororo, and Charles Xavier, mutants like you guys... in a way." Barry said.

"Cool. Nice to be ya!" Bebop said.

"Interesting. I've never seen mutants like you two before." Charles said.

"That's because we're special. We were human once but now we're this after a mutant, and on top of that, we got meta powers." Rocksteady explained as they show off their powers.

The four mutants were amazed by this and knew that their new home would be a paradise.

Far deep in space, a giant skull shape ship with tentacles was flying towards Earth. Inside was a familiar android.
