The Waverider appears in a place full of snow and ice. They landed in a clearing as they exit the ship as they hit a cool breeze. Even with snow gear, they were still cold.

"Brrrr.... It's freezing out here!" Molly said as she pulls her earmuffs over her ears.

"No kidding. Where are we?" Sonic asked as he noticed his gear changed into snow gear. "Whoa... my gear switched to winter."

"According to my GPS, we seem to be in Alaska." Zane reported not bothered by the cold.

"Alaska? Wow, that explains a lot." Todd said remembering he visited Alaska once on his trip.

"Mmmm... this place reminds me of my home with the Frostwolves." Orgrim Doomhammer said, loving the cold air on his skin.

"So, is there like a village nearby?" Bowser asked as Aarghaumont warms Toby up.

"Hmmm..." Shard muttered as he scans the area. "I'm detecting human signatures Northeast."

"Then let's go." Lloyd said as they run off.

"Oh hey, we still don't know what year or century it is here." Jay said.

"According to Gideon, it's 1925." Sara said.

"1925? I feel like I know that time to be important about something." Libby said thinking about it.

Then they soon reached the edge of a cliff to see a small town below. Shard and Zane scan the town to see it was only humans there.

"Looks like a normal town without people like us." Shard said.

"Which means some of us can't be seen." Zane said as he switched on his hologram disguise.

"Guess me and my team will stay back." Wolf said as the trolls changed into their human forms.

The heroes who can blend in with the people came down as they explored the town. They saw that a team of sled dogs were being put together as a crowd was watching them leave.

"Cool, sled dogs. I wonder what's going on?" Molly said.

Barry then looked through a window of a building to see a bunch of sick children being tendered by doctors and nurses.

"Whoa... there are a lot of sick kids in this hospital." Barry said as the others take a look.

"Hmmm... sled dogs... sick children... I feel like I read about this." Libby said trying to remember.

"Hey look, is that... Balto?" Darryl said as that grabbed Oliver's attention.

It was indeed Balto the Wolfdog, who watched the sled team leave the town.

"Of course! I know when we are! We're in the time of the sick children of Nome. Balto was a Wolfdog who helped deliver the life-saving serum to Nome, Alaska during a diphtheria epidemic in 1925 known as the Great Race of Mercy. Balto was the lead dog of his team and led them through a blizzard to deliver the serum, earning him and his team national fame." Libby said.

"Whoa really? That's kinda cool." Todd said.

"But my Balto wasn't in Nome, I found him a stray in Star City." Oliver said remembering how he found his Balto.

"In our universe, the Balto who lead the team was a husky. The other Balto, your pet, is this world's doppelgänger." Libby explains.

"Well that makes sense." Oliver said.

"But I wonder why he isn't leading the team here?" Jay asked.

"I don't know." Cole said.

"Anyway, we need to look for our missing friend here, so let's split up." Kara said.

The team then began to search all over for their friend as

"It's terrible, my friends, just...terrible! Steele and his team...are lost." Doc said listening from the old shed nearby.

The other dogs start a frenzy of questions and worried remarks.

"Steele! ...No!" Dixie cried.

"They've missed their second checkpoint...they're off the trail." Doc said.

"Can't they send another team?" One Dog asked.

"Eeehh, no...it's too dangerous for us – and our men." Doc said.

"But what about...them little ones?" Another Dog asked.

"The medicine won't be here in time...we're going to lose them." Doc said sadly.

Balto's been listening to the entire conversation from the loft, and out of sight from the others. He looks around, worriedly. But he didn't know that Ladybug and Cat Noir were listening in.

"That's not good." Adrien said to his girlfriend.

"Guess Balto is going to go help." Marinette said as they saw Balto leave.

The team reunited in a hidden area in the town.

"Still no luck." Jim said.

"One of our friends has to be here."

"Meanwhile, the children in the hospital are getting worse. Maybe we can do something to help them with our tech—" Molly says.

"No wait! We can't." Sara said.

"Why not?" Kai asked.

"Because it's how the children get healed. We can't intervene or change anything in this world's timeline. I'm afraid we have to leave it up to Balto." Sara explained.

"But yet we still have no luck in finding..."

Coming out from one of the buildings was a man in a thick coat who wore a cap with a "M" on it.

"Guys?" Mario said shocked to see his friends.

"Mario! It's you!" Sonic said hugging the plumber.

"Boy am I glad to see you guys! Is my brother with you?" Mario asked. Sonic shook his head sadly. "No. He isn't, but we will find him. Just like we found the others."

Suddenly Geoff groaned in pain as the others looked at him, seeing him acting strangely.

"GAHHH!!!" Geoff screamed as he clutched his head in pain. His eyes glowed bright green.

"Geoff! What's wrong, babe?" Jeff asked as he tried to help his husband.

Geoff then began to see random events playing in his head. He sees Balto trying to run away from Shadow Banshees, the sled team lost, and the darkness of the Eclipso corrupting everything.

"Gah! I saw Eclipso's Shadow Banshees attacking Balto and the sled team. They're in danger!" Geoff said to the team of heroes.

"Then we have to go help them." Molly said.

"I'll go then." Oliver said.

"Same here." Sonic said with Bowser, Zane, Orgrim and Shard by his side.

"Great. The rest of us will stay behind while you guys go help Balto rescue the sled team." Lloyd said.

"Good luck." Adrien said.

The heroes then began their journey to find Balto and the sled team. They run through the cold snow storm as they look for them. They soon see Balto trying to run away from some Shadow Banshees. Oliver then fires his arrows at the Shadow Banshees as they blew up. Balto then turned his attention to heroes.

"You okay?" Oliver asked Balto.

"Yeah... wait! You can understand me?" Balto asked.

"Yeah. Let's just say we're not from here." Sonic said.

"What were those things?" Balto asked creeped out by them.

"Shadow Banshees. Dangerous beings of the Multiverse." Shard said.

"The Multiverse?" Balto said confused.

"How about we talk and walk at the same time?" Orgrim said.

15 Minutes Later...

"-And these different Earths have existed simultaneously since..." Balto asked.

"Well, since, uh——let's see. Oh, the dawn of time." Sonic chuckled.

"Well, how come nobody knows about this? I mean, stuff this big? The public should be made aware." Balto asked.

"People know. Just the right people. If the general public knew? No. No, that would not be good. They would lose their minds." Orgrim said twirling his Doomhammer.

"Right, I mean... it's all so... epic." Balto said.

"Yes, it's epic. Doppelgängers, different worlds, powers and creatures ancient beyond anything out there." Zane said.

"And you guys are trying to find your missing friends and stop an evil demon of darkness?" Balto said.

"Yep. But we found our missing friend here. Best if we now focus on finding the sled team." Oliver said.

Balto along with the small team of heroes are braving the same blizzard Steele and his team are in. He sniffs the air and scratches a tree. Moving on, Balto's having difficulty navigating the terrain. He sniffs the air one more time...

"...Steele... " Balto said.

"Looks like we found them." Orgrim Doomhammer said.

They run forward, to the edge of a tall hill, and spots the wrecked sled team at the bottom. Glad, they leap forward, almost slipping and falling on their way down.

"Balto!" Star said spotting him.

"He's back?!" Nikki said surprised.

"Balto, how did you find us?" Kaltag asked.

"Is anyone hurt?" Balto asked as they reached them.

"...Everyone...is...fine." Steele said with his back to them.

"Yeah, but our musher hit his head...and, he didn't get up." Star said as he nudges their musher, who still doesn't move.

"And he's not moving." A Sled Dog said as Zane goes to scan him.

"Hmmm... his vitals are stable. He should recover shortly." Zane said bringing relief to the sled dogs.

"Alright, follow me." Balto said as he takes a rope in his mouth. "...we can lead you all home."

"We don't need...your help..." Steele growled as he steps on the rope.

"M-Maybe we should listen to him..." Star said as Steele snarls at Star.

"Well, how would you's get us home?" Nikki asked Balto.

"Well...I marked the trail...like this..." Balto explains as he goes over and scratches a small tree.

"Ho-ho-ho, yeah!" Star said.

"I'll get us back! I'm the lead dog, I'm in charge!" Steele growled pushing over the tree and backing up Balto.

"What...Then let me take back the medicine. They're getting sicker." Balto said as he makes for the anti-toxin, and Steele jumps in his way.

"Touch that box...and I'll tear you apart!" Steele pants.

"To bones says Steele takes him." Nikki said to Kaltag.

"Heh, you're on!" Kaltag said.

"Steele, I'm not leaving without that medicine." Balto said as he walks towards the anti-toxin, and Steele shoves Balto away.

"Who do you think you are?!" Steele demanded.

"Hey, this is gonna be good! Heh, heh, heh!" Nikki chuckled.

"Since...since when do you need a pedigree to help someone?" Balto asked as he heads towards the box, and Steele gets in his way, growling. "Steele! Let us help you!"

Steele gives Balto a nasty look and snarls at him as he walks by.

"Look at his eyes, look at his eyes!" Nikki said.

Steele knocks Balto again...harder.

"Ooooo, he'll feel that tomorrow!" Kaltag said.

"I think he is feeling it now!" Nikki said.

"Ouch!" Kaltag said.

"...I don't want to fight." Balto said getting up and walking towards the box.

Steele gets over his brief moment of shock. He grabs Balto in his teeth and throws him back.

"Whooaa!!" The Sled Dogs exclaimed.

"That can't be legal!" Kaltag said.

"Yeah!" Nikki agreed.

Steele, satisfied, starts walking away, but stops as Balto struggles to his feet again, and starts heading towards the anti-toxin. Steele, jumps in his way, accidentally knocking over the box to its side.

"Hey...that stuff is fragile!" Nikki shouts.

"What's with Steele? All Balto wants to do is help!" Star said.

Steele grabs Balto's leg with is teeth. He swings him around and throws him off. Balto hits his head on a rock, and blacks out. Moments go by, and Steele is still looking at Balto, thinking he won't get up, Balto snickers.

"...Look!" The Sled Dogs gasped.

Balto shifts and struggles to get back. Steele is very frustrated. He lunges for Balto. Orgrim had enough as he slammed Steele away from Balto with his Doomhammer as he moves out of the way just in time. As Steele gets up, Zane then traps him in a wall of ice, putting him in his place.

"I think Steele needs a timeout." Sonic snickers.

The sled dogs and the heroes pull the musher's body onto the sled, along with the medicine. Balto proceeds to the front of the team where Star holds a saddle for him to fit through.

He fits perfectly, and the team mushes off – right as Steele begins to break his way free to them.

"Go ahead, Wolfdog! You'll never get home! ...I'll make sure that!" Steele shouts as he watches them go.

Steele makes his way to the wilderness and sees one of Balto's marks.

" ...I'll show 'em! ...This way...How 'bout over here!" Steele growled.

He scratches a tree, making an identical mark.

"Oops, wrong way! Hehehe!!" He cackles as he runs off, scratching more trees as he did.

Balto and the team come to a fork in the trail. He cannot decide which way to go, as all the marks are upon trees leading in all directions.

"...Oh, no..." Balto gasped.

"Which way, Balto, which way? Which way? Star asked.

"Uuuhh...this way!" Balto said as he chooses a path, and not long after, Balto ends up in the exact same fork, right where he began. He stops to a halt, and all the other dogs ram into one another.

"Balto, why're you takin' us in circles?!" Kaltag asked.

"I'm not! ...I mean...I dunno...It's Steele." Balto said.

"He's messed up our trail we left behind!" Oliver said.

"That damn mutt!" Bowser growled.

"I can't seem to figure which way to go. It's too much snow interference." Zane said.

"Let me try." Shard said as he flew high in the air to look for a way, but same result. "No good. Can't see anything up here with this weather."

"That's not good." Orgrim Doomhammer says as he sniffs the air.

"What do we do now?" Sonic asked.

"Maybe we's was better off with him den..." Nikki whispers to the others.

"NO! C'mon! Mush!" Balto shouts as he sprints forward, unaware of where he's going. He blindly makes his way through the trees, dragging the other dogs behind.

"Balto! Slow down! Wa –" Star gagged as a branch gets caught in his mouth.

"Balto! Slow down! At this speed, I cannot calculate incoming objects!" Zane shouts.

Balto, lost, continues to run through the forest. The trees with markings on them provoke his panic.

"Hey, hey!!...You're goin' too fast!" Nikki shouts.

Balto suddenly spots a deep ledge dropping before him. He grinds to a halt. All the dogs lose control, and narrowly stop just before the ledge's end. The sled halts close to the end and starts to tip over.

"Look out!" Nikki shouts.

The ropes holding the medicine down snap, and the anti-toxin starts to lean towards the edge. Balto leaps in the air and grabs the rope in his mouth.

"Alright! ...Good catch, Balto!" Star said.

A large portion of snow containing Balto and the medicine breaks off. Nikki, Kaltag and Star watch in horror as Balto, the heroes, and the medicine come tumbling down the mountain...

Back at Nome, the kids were getting worse as the heroes watched and wish they could intervene.

"Should it be taking this long?" Molly asked.

"We just have to hope they make it through the storm." Kara said.

"We can't go after them anyway. We just gotta have faith." Lloyd said.

Meanwhile, Balto breaks through the snow on top of him with difficulty. He climbs out and lies down on top of the snow, exhausted.

"Rosie..." Balto moaned.

Balto sadly puts his paws on his snout, thinking that he has failed his mission. Suddenly, catches sight of a great white wolf in front of him. The wolf looks down at Balto, then howls. Balto looks away from the wolf, and refuses to howl along. The white wolf slowly walks away. Balto then turns and looks from the [unharmed] medicine to the high cliff from which he fell. He remembers...

"...A dog cannot make this journey alone... but... maybe, a wolf can." Boris says.

Balto looks back at where the white wolf disappeared. A trail of footprints are the only thing left behind. He then puts his own paw on top of the footprint, then lifts it up. There is no change in shape whatsoever. Balto tries again, and still it remains the same. Convinced of his heritage, Balto looks up at the sky and howls. The white wolf soon re-appears and starts howling as well.

"Aaaaaaarrrrooooooooooooo!!" Balto and the White Wolf howled.

Betterfly smirks as he created a Kamiko and sends it to Balto as it flew into Jenna's bandana. A butterfly mask appears over his face.

"Frostwolf... I am Betterfly. I give you the power to control ice and snow to help you in getting this medicine to the sick children. Do you accept this power for the greater good?" Betterfly asked.

"I do." Balto answered as he accepted the power and began to transform into a bigger wolf.

Purple ooze spreads all over his body as the power changes his body's structure. As soon as the purple ooze was gone, Balto's body was now bigger and stronger. He now has snow colored fur and ice-colored eyes. His teeth and fangs were glacier blue now. He was now Frostwolf.

"Now that's more like it." Balto said as he unleashed a mighty howl that echoes across the land.

At the top of the cliff, Balto's team is oblivious to all that's going on below.

"Oh, great. Things are not bad enough, now we got wolves!" Nikki groans as he hears the howls.

"WOLVES?!" The Sled Team exclaimed.

"Hey, hey! Hey, over here!" Kaltag said from the edge of the cliff.

"What, what is it?" Nikki asked.

"Huh? What, what, what?" Star said.

A crowd gathers at the cliff's edge to see Balto and the heroes climbing back up the cliff, dragging the medicine well behind him.

"Balto?" Star said surprise to see his new form.

"And he's got the medicine!" Kaltag said.

"Come on, Balto, youse can make it!" Nikki said encouraging them.

Balto looses his footing, but quickly regains balance, and continues forward.

"That-That's the most amazing, the most fantastic, that is the most incredible thing, that's the most phenomenal, I-I never –" Kaltag ranted.

"That's good!" Star said as Kaltag head butts Star.

"Hey, he's got da feet of a wolf dere." Nikki says noticing Balto's footprints.

The team looks down at Balto, encouraging him. Balto looks at them briefly, then returns his concentration to the medicine and climbing. He's getting closer and closer to the top as he uses his new powers to give him more strength. The team's encouragements become more excited with every step Balto takes.

"Come on, you got it, you're almost dere!" Nikki shouts.

Balto reaches the top, struggling to haul the medicine up. He finally heaves one more pull, and the medicine stands up, secure. Nikki and Kaltag take it back to the sled, then join the other sled dogs in congratulating Balto.

"...I couldn't have done that!" Star said.

Soon, the sled team is back on its feet and making quick progress. Before long, they come across another fork in the trail. All the trees are still marked with the same scratchings that lead everywhere. The team silences as Balto sniffs the air. Confident, Balto gestures ahead, and they continue. With the issue of where to go resolved, Balto and his team reach a deep pit that can only be crossed by a narrow bridge made of ice. Slowly, the team moves forward. A small crack appears, and Star is a little worried. The crack them starts to get bigger and bigger.

"C'mon! Mush!" Balto shouts to the team.

The team makes a dash for it. The bridge collapses as the sled skids across. However, the back end of the sled never made it to the end, and it slowly starts to pull the dogs down along with it. Balto starts to slide down, but quickly grabs hold of a branch in his teeth and uses it to pull himself up. All the dogs make it one step at a time until the entire sled his finally reached the top, allowing for them to journey onward. Panting, the team relaxes. Balto walks forward, brushing his tail under Star's nose.

"Eh...Eh...AAAAAAAAAACHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" Star sneezed as his sneeze echoes.

"Gasunheit!" Sonic said to Star.

The sneeze cuts the dogs' relaxation time short, as it soon triggers an avalanche. It cascades down the mountainside, heading straight for Balto and his team. Looking back, he gasps and mushes the others as fast as they can. Balto knows they won't be able to outrun the avalanche. He frantically looks around for a way out and spots a cave entrance ahead. He leaps forward, and the team dives in after. The sled barely makes it as the avalanche seals off the mouth. The ice cave is a wonder, Star enjoys himself with the ice formations. A drop of water lands on Balto's head. He looks up a sees very sharp icicles dangling from the ceiling.

"Ssshh!" Balto said to them.

"Best if we stay quiet." Zane said.

They move onward, quietly. As Balto walks forward, his tail brushes Star's nose again. He is about to sneeze before Nikki saves them by putting his finger under his nose to stop it. Suddenly, the sled hits a ledge, creating a racketing noise throughout the cavern. The icicles shake, and one falls down. It cuts through the sled's far end, ripping the hand bar in half.

"Mush!" Balto shouts.

"Come on!" Oliver shouts.

Balto and the team sprint forward, causing every icicle to come crashing down. Balto leads the team as they dodge all of them. Suddenly, the box containing the anti-toxin breaks loose. A bottle slips from the container and shatters on the ground. Balto gasps. He spots a fallen icicle sticking up from the ground. He jumps from its base, slides on the ground, and closes the box of medicine again with his foot. Balto smiles, but the moment is short lived when a wall of icicles begins to fall down in front of them, blocking their exit. Zane then blasted the icicles away as Balto quickly make it through them just in the nick of time. Back in the hospital, Rosie's Father, Mother, and Jenna site at her bedside. A nurse brings Rosie's mother a cup of hot liquid.

"Here, drink this." A nurse said.

"Oh...thanks." Rosie's mother said taking the mug.

Jenna looks as Rosie's health continues to dwindle. Just outside, Muk, Luk, and Boris are sadly waiting for Balto to come back. Luk grabs a blanket and wraps everyone inside. They are depressed to do just about anything, when Boris suddenly hears howling in the distance.

"...Balto..." Boris says hopeful.

Boris looks off in the horizon just as Balto, the team, and the heroes burst into view.

"BALTO'S BACK!!!" Boris shouts in joy.

Balto sees the town, and the shining lights cast upon the snow.

"...Jenna!" Balto said in joy as he howls again.

"We made it back!" Sonic said.

"Way to go, Balto! I release you from the power I gave." Bowser said as he snapped his fingers and Balto returns to normal.

In the hospital, everyone hears the howls, and they gather at the window.

"The team!" Rosie's father shouts in joy.

Everyone turns their lights back on and look out to see the wonderful sight of the team bringing the precious medicine home. Morse sticks his head out of the doggie door and starts barking. The Nome Operator swings the door open and brings the lantern back on at full light. At the dogs' meetinghouse, Steele is still indulging himself in the pleasures of telling the other dogs what happened during his outing...

"Of course, as you know, I just..."  He sucks on a bone. "I swam, and I swam, it was freezing cold. And then..." He throws the bone in the air and catches it in his mouth. "...Then finally, I just said "Steele, you're just gonna have to gnaw your way to the surface." So, I --" He hears howling, and Doc throws open the door. "...What?"

"It's Balto...with the medicine!" Doc said looking out the door.

Steele waves it away, and smiles charmingly at Dixie.

"Steele, you are positively... dis-posable!" Dixie scolded him.

She slaps the bone out of Steele's mouth. All the dogs growl at him and start to leave.

"Okay, okay...I-I can explain." Steele sputtered.

"Humph!" Dixie grunted as she heads for the door.

"You guys weren't there, so you don't...wait a min, guys! Wait just a second...please?" Steele begged.

" Get lost!" One of the dogs said.

The door closes on Steele. Steele was left absolutely speechless and in utter confusion as to how this could have happened as he continued to stare at the now shut door without saying another word. However, as he continued to stare at the door, his confusion and disappointment about being revealed for who he was started to melt away into pure and unfathomable anger as he gritted his teeth as hard as he could and screamed.

"NOOOOOOOOO!" Steele screamed in pure anger.

He yanked the bone off the floor and through it into the fire. Steele's anger then started to turn into a full-on temper tantrum as he started to destroy what he could of the boiler room and turn it into an absolute mess, he made countless scratch marks on the fireplace, shredded some of the nearby haystacks with his claws, and he even made a small hole in the boiler room door. Soon the boiler room was a complete mess and Steele was sitting in the middle of the rubble angrily and heavily breathing before he started to become more controlled and calmed down. After Steele managed to calm himself down a little, his attention would then be directed to a Nega Wisp that flew into his collar. He growls in frustration as he tried to fight off Eclipso's power.

"Accept my power! Let your anger drive you! Your anger and hatred of the halfbreed gives you strength!"

Steele growls in rage as he began to transform into a terrifying monster as blackish ooze covers all over his body. He grows bigger and more savage as he grins a wicked smile.

All the townspeople of Nome rush to the track as Balto and the team race their way to the finish. They stop on front of the hospital, and the doctor comes out, laughing with joy...It's finally over.

"Steady, steady, easy now, that's had a long journey!" The Doctor said.

They open the box to find the medicine inside in mint condition – save for one bottle that's missing.

"How is he?" A townsperson asked.

"He's gonna be okay..." A townsperson said.

In the hospital, the doctor and nurses immediately start applying the medicine to the sick children. Right outside, the people of Nome [Yes, even the Butcher] suddenly start to appreciate Balto as they start petting him, smiling.

"Good dog, Balto! Oh, dear, dear, Balto! That's a good boy!" A townsperson said petting him.

Boris lying through the air, a landing on Balto, "Yeeeeeeeaaaahh, hahaha! Not, dog, not wolf – YOU'RE A HERO!!" He kisses Balto on the head.

"BALTOOO!" Muk shouts in joy.

The two polar bears waddle through the people and embrace Balto in a tight hug. Balto laughs and squeezes out. He is then approached by Rosie's Father.

"Come one, boy...there's someone who wants to see you!" Rosie's father said.

Rosie's Father leads Balto inside the hospital. Balto stops and looks back at his friends. Boris kindly gestures for him to go on ahead. Balto smiles and runs inside. After Rosie is injected, she slowly comes awake, and rubs her eyes.

"...Mommy? Rosie said weakly.

"Rosie, darling!" Rosie's mother said in joy.

"I fell asleep!" Rosie said hugging her parents.

"Rosie..." Rosie's father said in satisfaction.

Rosie and her family hug each other on the bed. Balto watches. He looks around and spots Rosie's musher's hat on a chair. He takes in in his mouth and brings it over to Rosie.

"Balto..." Rosie said as she takes the hat. She looks at it, then hugs Balto. "...I'd be lost without you."

"Ahem..." Jenna said from the doorway.

"Jenna!" Balto said smiling.

Balto runs to Jenna, and they run around each other in welcome. They then look at one another, then nuzzle one another comfortingly. They both smile and look at the crowd gathering outside the hospital, and applauding.

"Way ta go, Balto!" Star cheered.

"He has the most endurance, the most fidelity, the most intelligence –" Kaltag ranted.

"They should build a statue of him!" Star spoke.

Kaltag nudges him, and Star cringes.

"...You said it!" Kaltag said.

"...I did?" Star said surprised.

A few more hours later and after the whole town happily celebrated Balto's grand return with a huge party, the kids were finally allowed to be let out of the hospital and sent off to their homes one by one, they still weren't fully recovered yet, but they were at least healthy enough to be released for the time being. Rosie was the last kid to be let out of the hospital and there was still a bit of a crowd outside the hospital so they could see the kids off to their homes, but just as Rosie was about to leave the hospital for good,she suddenly perked up and frantically told her parents.

"Wait I forgot my hat!" She said.

Sonic was about to go in and get it himself, but Balto suddenly offered.

"I got it Sonic." Balto said as he ran inside the still lit hospital.

As Sonic and the others were waiting for Balto to come back out, Lloyd and Geoff slowly walked up to Sonic.

"So, I guess we'll be heading off soon then?" Geoff asked.

"Yeah, we were here for a long time." Lloyd replied.

Sonic however didn't seem too enthusiastic to leave just yet.

"Yeah I guess we'll have to, but I'm still trying to figure out-"

Sonic's intrigue filled pondering would however be sharply and loudly interrupted when he as well as the entire town heard a massive boom akin to a thunderclap and felt the ground violently rumnle,and it didn't take too long for them to figure out where it came from. Sonic and the crowd diverted all their attention to the hospital to see that it had somehow burst into flames,all the windows were now broken and shattered.
Sonic as well as the entire crowd gasped in shock and sheer horror.

"What was that?!" Geoff shouts.

"I thought we got rid of all the Shadow Banshees!" Lloyd said.

"Balto! He's still in there!" Jenna exclaimed in a panic.

"Don't worry I'll get him!" Sonic replied and reassured the now panicking Jenna before he quickly darted into the now falling apart hospital.

The other heroes tried to follow after him but some falling debris from the ceiling had unfortunately blocked the front door after Sonic ran inside. Luckily since all the kids and hospital workers had been released beforehand, there were no casualties to be found.... hopefully. As Sonic slowly walked through the burning hospital, he saw that the inside had become a complete yet strange mess, all of the walls had massive claw marks, there seemed to be blood droplets on the floor as if someone had gotten into a fight, and that he somehow tell abnormally cold despite him being in a burning building.

"Oh no." Sonic nervously gasped when he saw the sheer amount of damage and destruction on display before he called out for Balto, only to be met with no response from anywhere.

Sonic was getting more and more nervous by the second at the possibility that Balto may have died in the explosion, but in the back of his mind he knew that he had to find him, whether he was a corpse or not. Pretty soon Sonic found himself in the doctor's main office and he called out for Balto once again, but he would then be surprised when he saw the silhouette of a dog-like figure in the black smoke.

"Balto?" Sonic quietly called out to the figure in the hopes of it being his friend, however he would be disappointed yet surprised when he saw Steele slowly walk out of the smoke.

The first thing that Sonic noticed was that Steele looked far more menacing and monstrous than he had ever seen him before, his fur was a much darker shade of black than it already was,his green eyes were now glowing yellow around the iris, his claws and teeth were much sharper than before too,and his body build was less of a dog and more like a werewolf.

"Hey Sonic." Steele greeted Sonic in a surprisingly optimistic manner that further pushed the idea that he had entirely lost his mind, but Sonic showed no interest in Steele's psychotic mannerisms.

"Where's Balto?" Sonic asked him sternly.

Steele pointed his head towards the ground and to the left to reveal that Balto was laying down with Roise's hat in the corner unconscious and pinned down by a fallen shelf, his fur was very mangled and there were also very small drops of blood on the floor and by him.

"Balto?!" Sonic nervously called out to him in the hopes of him getting up to which Steele groaned somewhat annoyed.

"Relax he's fine, you know you idiots have reduced me to nothing by the way." Steele said.

"Like I care. I'm leaving with Balto." Sonic said as he then wind blasted Steele away as he grabbed Balto.

"GET BACK HERE COWARD!!!" Steele roared as he chases after them.

Sonic came out with Balto as Libby uses a Healing Glyph Spell on the Wolfdog.

"What the hell happened?" Mick asked.

"Eclipso has affected Steele and now he's gonna destroy everything." Sonic said.

Steele bursts out of the wreckage of the hospital. People began to run away in fear as Steele terrorizes the town.

"Looks like we have to stop him. Plagg, Claws out!" Adrien shouts as he transforms into Cat Noir.

"Tikki, Spots on!" Marinette shouts as she transforms into Ladybug.

"I've detected the Nega Wisp coming from his collar." Zane informs them.

"Great! Problem is, how are we gonna get it off him?" Jay asked.

"LUCKY CHARM!!!!" Ladybug shouts as she uses her superpower.

Reaching the end of the cord, the spinning disk hung in the air, blazing red-white light. Swirling flecks of luminescence flashing in every shade from blood-red to snow-white gathered together in the center of the light, coalesced into a single shape, flared-red and covered with large black dots, a small shipwreck boat model fell into down.

"A shipwreck model? What am I supposed to do with this?" Ladybug asked

"Wait! It looks like the wrecked ship I live on." Balto said.

Ladybug's Lucky Vision then locks on to: the Lucky Charm, Balto, Rykarr, Cat Noir, Zane, and Sonic.

"I have an idea. Balto, where is this fisherman boat that you live on?" Ladybug asked.

"Follow me!" Balto said as he leads them.

As the selected heroes follow Balto, Steele saw them and chased after them.

"Sonic, I need you to distract Steele long enough for Rykarr to hit Steele's collar with his Ball." Ladybug said.

"I got this!" Sonic said as he traps Steele in a mini-cyclone.

Hound Hunter then threw his Ball at Steele's collar when he wasn't looking. His Ball made a link to the collar as it rolled right back to Hound Hunter as he catches it and puts it back on his chest.

"Got it!" Rykarr said to Ladybug.

Sonic then stopped running around Steele and teased him to follow him and Balto. They soon reached the wrecked ship near the frozen lake as Sonic and Balto were now on the boat. Steele growls at them as he runs to them on the ice.

"Now, Cat Noir!" Ladybug shouts.

"CATACLYSM!" Cat Noir shouts as he hits the ice.

The ice began to crack as Steele then fell in. He tried to claw his way back up the surface. Zane then jumped in as he freezes ice onto Steele's body, trapping him to be halfway in the water.

"Hound Hunter, NOW!" Ladybug shouts to the troll.

"FETCH!" Hound Hunter shouts to his Ball as it glowed.

His Ball then flies over to Steele's collar again as it recovers it to Hound Hunter. He grins as he then ripped it apart, releasing the Nega Wisp as it flew around.

"No more evil doing for you, Nega Wisp." Ladybug said opening her yo-yo to reveal the sparkling pool of cleansing energy inside of it and spins it around.

"Time to de-evilize!" the heroine in red shouted before she threw her yo-yo toward the wisp, catching it in her yo-yo.

"Gotcha!" Ladybug cheered when the yo-yo was back in her hands. A second later, she released the purified wisp, setting the white wisp free.

"Bye, bye little wisp," the spotted heroine said as the wisp flew away, right before throwing the Lucky Charm up into the air.

"MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!!!" Ladybug cried out, summoning the cleansing cure and the magic ladybugs.

The magical ladybugs then began to repair all the damage that Steele made. The hospital and buildings were restored as Steele changed back to normal. Once Steele snaps out of it, Mick then used the memory eraser to erase Steele's memories of them and being corrupted by Eclipso.

"There, the spoiled mutt's memories." Mick said.

"Good. Now umm... best if you speedsters erase everyone else's memories too." Sara said handing memory erasers to them.

"Got it." Sonic said as he, Barry, Draal, Rykarr, Piranha, Snotlout, and Jay sped off.

"Wait! You're erasing everyone's memories of you guys?" Balto asked.

"Yeah, we weren't supposed to be here or be seen by anyone. We need to make sure that everything plays as the timeline is supposed to go." Ladybug said.

"Interfering with moments in time can cause serious consequences." Sara said.

"Does that mean you're gonna raise my memory too?" Balto asked.

"No. we know that you can keep a secret. And since probably you'll be dead when this happens, we can show you your future." Sara said as she displays it on a hologram.

It was a statue of Balto in New York City's Park.

"Is that... a statue of me?" Balto asked happily.

"Yep. You become quite the inspiration and unknown for your heroics." Oliver said petting him.

"You talk to me as if you know me?" Balto said.

"Let's say... I know your doppelgänger well. He's quite the hero." Oliver said.

Soon the heroes headed back to the Waverider as Balto howls goodbye to them as they headed off to the next universe.
