The heroes landed on one of the buildings through a breach as they looked at the dark starry night.

"There it is... New York City!" Sonic smirked.

"Ahhh... the city you humans call The Big Apple." Blinky said in awe.

"Yep. Looks not that different from my New York." Peter said.

"Lots of criminals to eat." Venom said as he licked his lips.

"Maybe Mutants here like... turtles?" Jay joked.

"The map piece must be around here so let's search while it's still nighttime." Green Arrow said.

"Whoa... Barry, Piranha, Sonic... your shoes and gloves... they've changed!" Toby said.

The three saw that their gear indeed changed. Their shoes and hand gear were now black and gray. The fingertips had sharp edges of them as claws. The wrists have 3 sharp fins on each side. The boots now have rough bottoms to grip on smooth surfaces. Their gear almost look like Batman's gear.

"Whoa! It looks like Batman's gear!" Sonic said amazed.

"Looks like our gear adapts to whatever universe we go to." Barry said looking at his gauntlets.

As they run off, they didn't notice something or someone watching them in the night far away.

It was starting to become daylight so the trolls went underground as the others searched the city. The Bad Guys took on their human forms again. As they walk around, they noticed that this Earth looked... normal. No metas, no superheroes, no supervillains, no monsters or other creatures.

"It seems this Earth is without anything exciting." Mario said as they sat in a private park of Central Park.

"It's good to know, no matter what Earth you go to... New York hotdogs are always the way they should be." Peter said with Eddie eating about 10 of them.

"You're telling me." Eddie Brock said eating.

"Agreed... but we need to focus on finding the map piece here." Jim said.

"So I checked out the city on this world's internet, and there have been reports of Gargoyles flying around only at night here." Webs said as they are eating hotdogs.

"Gargoyles? As in the Gotham Clan?" Cole said as he remembers their Earth's gargoyles.

In their universe, it was Gotham City where the Gargoyles were released from their curse by Xanatos who was a rival to Bruce Wayne. After being freed, the Gargoyles met Batman along with his team, soon becoming Dark Knights of Gotham City. Later on joining the rest of the Justice League of heroes.

"So I guess this Earth might have doppelgängers of our Goliath, Hudson, Brooklyn, Broadway, Lexington, Bronx, and Angela. Maybe they can help us?" Cisco said.

"Let's hope they're like our Gargoyles." Sara said as they continue to walk.

"So any luck on finding the map piece?" Jim asked.

"From what me and Webs have been searching through the world web, I've located what looks like a map piece in the city's museum of history." Zane explained as he projected a hologram of the shard in the museum.

"Then tonight is where we'll hit it." Wolf said with a grin.

"Where you going Shadow?" Sonic asked.

"I sense Chaos Energy nearby, meaning that there's a Chaos Emerald nearby." Shadow said as he dashed off.

"Then it's settled! Tonight, we'll steal the map piece and go find these Earth's gargoyles to ask them for help." Oliver said as they headed off

Little did they know, that someone was eavesdropping on them. Someone who's wearing a red jacket as they walk away.

Later on that night

The heroes headed to the museum as the Bad Guys with Flash, Draal, Sonic, Green Arrow, and Green Lantern arrived to the roof of the museum.

Flash's suit suddenly changed color from red to black. Now it was back and gold.

"Whoa! Okay, I did not know it could do that." Flash said amazed.

"Interesting... your suits seem to have adapted to its surroundings." Zane said.

"Cool! Now let's do this." Snake said.

"Okay, first... we need to get in the building." Wolf said.

Drago then used the Still Force to stop the fans from rotating as Hyena used his strength to rip off the covers to allow them access.

"Second, we need to distract the security guards of the museum." Wolf said.

"I got this!" Shark said disguised as a security guard as he directed the other guards to a different direction of the museum.

"Third, we need to get in the artifacts room." Wolf said.

"Blamo!" Piranha shouts as he, Sonic, and Draal speed punched the doors opened.

"Hack the security systems." Wolf said.

"Done and done!" Webs said as she deactivated the security system.

"Crack the lock." Wolf said.

"Hands free!" Snake said as he unlocked the glass containment.

"And finally... take the map piece." Wolf said as he took the map shard.

They then exited the building as they successfully completed their mission. But as they head off, seven figures followed them.

As for Shadow, he searching the city for the Chaos Emerald. He then stopped at a pawn shop to see the Red and Blue Chais Emeralds. He smirked as he phased through the glass as he grabs them and heads off to join the others.

"So now what?" Gobber said.

"I suggest we head back to the ship before we draw in unwanted attention." Strange said.

Suddenly they saw seven shadow figures flew over them as they landed in front of them. As the light in the area got brighter, they recognized them.

"It's the Gargoyles!" Sonic said in joy.

The gargoyles then flew down to them, looking aggressive.

"Who are you and why were you stealing from the museum?" Goliath asked.

"Look Goliath, we're not your enemy and we have a good reason for stealing this." Sonic said.

The other gargoyles gasped at they knew Goliath's name.

"How do you know his name, lad?" Hudson said.

"There they are!!!"

They turn around to a bunch of Quarrymen show up with guns and hammers.

"What the?! More monsters?!" One of the Quarrymen said.

"*gasps* Monstrosity lies only in the humans' hearts.  Do not judge a book by its cover." Blinky said to them.

"Get them!" A Quarryman shouts as they fight.

Each of the heroes managed to beat back the Quarrymen with ease, thanks to their powers.

"Drago!" Supergirl shouts.

"On it!" Drago the snapped his fingers and froze the Quarrymen in time with the Still Force.

The Gargoyles were amazed by this power and the way this strange warriors fought.

"How did you do that?!" Brooklyn asked.

"No time to explain. Shadow, get us out of here to the castle!" Atom shouts.

"CHAOS CONTROL!" Shadow shouts with the emeralds and they teleported away.

As soon as they did, the Quarrymen unfroze only to see them gone.

"We better tell Castaway about this." One of the Quarrymen said.

The heroes and Gargoyles ended back at the castle on the building. They were all safe and sound.

"Thank you... all of you saved us." Brooklyn said.

"You're welcome. What are friends for?" Jay said.

"So... explain to us on how you know us and where you come from." Goliath said.

"Have you ever heard of the Multiverse?" Mega Man asked.

"Only that it's a theory of there being multiple universes out there that I read in some of the books here. Worlds unlike anything we've seen." Goliath said.

"Yeah well, it's real. Because we're from a different universe." Flash said.

"Really? Cool!" Broadway said.

"Yeah, each Earth has a number on how many there are." Cisco said.

"So what number are we?"Eliza asked.

"Earth-80." Zane answered.

"That doesn't explain how you know our names, lads and lassies." Hudson said.

"Because there are doppelgängers of you guys where we come from." Sara said.

"Doppelgängers?" Goliath said.

"Doubles or counterparts of ourselves. In our world, you guys live in Gotham City, where you guys are crime-fighting vigilantes." Barry said as he shows them a hologram pic of their Earth's gargoyles.

"Whoa, we look cool." Brooklyn said as they saw how their Doppelgängers looked as Bat-Knights.

After introducing themselves, they decided to help them around. Then the Gargoyles fell into a trap and were destroyed by a bomb... or so as they thought. Later, it's revealed that the Gargoyles were still alive as they woke from their stone-sleep.

"What happened?" Goliath asked.

"Goliath! You're alive!" Eliza said hugging him.

"What about the bomb?" Lexington asked.

"How'd we get here?" Hudson said.

"What happened?" Brooklyn asked

"What happened to us?" Broadway asked.

I believe I owe some of you an explanation. If you'll allow me to explain. When I learned of the special accessories Castaway was adding to his building to trap the gargoyles, I had my spy bribe his construction crew to add a few extras of my own. The moment you turned to stone, the floor rotated, moving you to a protective chamber. At the same time, pieces of imposters were in, taking your place just before the big blast. Now you have a decision to make— to be or not to be." Xanatos explained.

"Ha! He talks in riddles now." Hudson said.

"New York believes the Clan is dead. This could be your chance to make a fresh start in a new place. Put the Quarrymen behind you." Xanatos said.

"Xanatos, your intentions are good, but it is not our nature to hide away or to abandon to protectorate." Goliath said.

"Besides, we got to get Angela and Bronx out of the slammer." Broadway said.

"I must confess, that's one complication I didn't anticipate." Xanatos said.

"And if we go to the police, let them see the Clan's still alive and kicking." Brooklyn said.

"Come morning, there'd be seven us behind bars instead of two." Hudson said.

"Hudson's right. For the time being, at least, Angela and Bronx are safe right where they are. Margot Yake may share some of the Quarrymen's views, but she won't tolerate vigilante justice." Eliza said.

"Shame, because some of us are Vigilantes." Flasheart chuckled.

"I'm off see what I can do downtown. Meantime, you guys lie low." Eliza said.

Later on, the Gargoyles and heroes were watching the news and heard how much the people despise them.

"Don't listen to them, guys. They don't know you guys, how amazing you guys." Sonic said.

"Sonic is right, magnificent creatures like you deserve to be honored for what you've done for this city." Blinkous said.

"Maybe Xanatos was right. Why should we stay where we're not wanted?" Brooklyn said.

"Yeah... hey, what about all those places Goliath talked about? Avalon or Japan, places where we might meet other gargoyles." Lexington said.

"Other female gargoyles..." Brooklyn added thinking about finding a mate.

"I understand your feelings. But we have worked all our lives to prove that we deserve a place within human society. We have fought and suffered together to gain acceptance, not because it was easy, but because it was right. We cannot throw that all away." Goliath said.

"Besides, we need to save Angela and Bronx." Jim said.

"Then we have some work to do." Lloyd said as he pulls his hood over his face.
