"So who could it be?" Minty asked as they were trying to figure it out.

"We've dealt with many enemies who are aliens." Bowser Jr. said.

"So it could possibly be a villain we faced before... or a new threat." Gruff said.

"Brainiac?" Ella guessed.

"No, because the Suicide Squad killled him and 13 others." Nanaue said remembering his father telling him the stories of him fighting the alien.

"Darkseid?" Craig suggested.

"I don't think so. Not since Superman and the League defeated him." Mia said.

"Sinestro?" Drax said remembering the Yellow Lantern.

"No, he was killed in a battle. Arkillo is now the one in charge." Deya said.

"Mongul?" Rocky said.

"Optimus Prime and Supergirl killed him in 2030, remember? When he tried to kill them in that car race?" Rex said.

"Starro? That giant starfish?" Pepé Jr. said.

"Nope. He was killed when Dad fought him and became one with the sea." Graynoldus said.

"What about Despero?" Johnny said.

"The alien that Flash fought? The one who believed that he would bring Armageddon into the world?" Mia said.

"According to Dad, he severed his connection to the Flame of Py' tar, and he vanished in flames. Hasn't been seen ever since." Nora explained.

"According to our files. Despero is a Kalanorian from the planet Kalanor. His power source is called the Flame of Py' tar, an energy source that is the sentient heart of his homeworld. His species are known for the psychic and telepathic powers." Zeke said as he shows them the files.

"Okay so we have a bunch of alien villains that could possibly doing this." Spike said.

"Hey guys! So I finished examining the alien tech you guys managed to recover and I must say that it's nothing like I've ever seen before. I've seen kryptonian, cybertronian, and much more but this is something new." Turmeric said.

"But do you know what it does?" Rocky asked.

"It seems to function as an absorber. It seems that it's built to absorb all types of energy." Turmeric explained to them.

Suddenly they heard an explosion happening outside as they saw smoke.

"Trouble! Come on! Let's go!" Ralph said.

"Wait! Hold on, we don't know if this is a trap." Deya said.

"What if it's not? Come on!" Ralph said as he teleported to the scene.

They all then headed down to the area of the destruction. They look around as they saw no one.

"I was wondering when you'll show up."

The heroes instantly pulled out the weapons and charged up the powers. They looked around, see where the source of the voice was coming from.

"You kids are just as annoying as your parents were, but it doesn't matter now. Because you kids are too late!"

The heroes soon realize that the voices were in their heads, meaning their enemy was a telepath.

"I assure you that you will all fail to defeat me." Despero said as he appeared to them.

"Despero! So it is you!" Luke said as he pulled out his sword.

"Of course." Despero said.

"And the Court of Owls? What's your deal with them?" Deya demanded.

"I have big plans that involve them. Big plans that I doubt you'll figure out." Despero said.

Viper looked puzzled as why would he would reveal himself to them. He suddenly felt confidence in Despero's mind as he they realize that this was a trap!

"GUYS LOOK OUT!!!" Viper shouts to his friends.

Suddenly the area exploded as the blast knocked everything away.

"Ugh... everyone okay?" Mia asked everyone as she got up.

"Yeah..." Rex moaned.

"I'm good." Rex said.

"Ooo... I think I cracked a rib." Drake moaned as he clutched his side.

"Wait! Where's Deya?" Drax asked looking around for her.

"DEYA!!!!" Ralph shouts as he runs to her.

He finds her injured and unconscious. He picks her up as Drax looked scared and worried as Ralph was.

"Next time, try to be smarter so your friends don't suffer." Despero said as he teleported away.

"We need to get her back to S.T.A.R. Labs. Now!" Mia shouts as Drax picks her up and rushed to S.T.A.R. Labs.

They all arrived to see the place a mess. They found Turmeric, Caitlin, and Grodd injured.

"Turmeric! What the hell happened here?" Luke asked.

"Those Wolf Assassins came... *cough*and took the device." Turmeric moaned in pain.

Worrax growled in anger as he and Mason Jr. Sonic Howl in anger. They collapsed on the floor in frustration.

"We were all set up." Nora said in disbelief.

"What do we do now?" Jay Jr. asked clueless.
