Hall of Justice

The JL Kids were going through all the files the JL kept about the Court of Owls, seeing if there was something that could help them.

"This is pointless! Nothing in the files are going to help us figure out what the Court is up to now." Worrax said.

"Maybe. But I did manage to find that bill that old lady was talking about and destroyed it. I even managed to find her name, Constance Cobblepot." Nellie explains as she continues to search.

"Cobblepot? Related to Oswald?" Gray asked.

"Yeah, his grandmother apparently." Nellie said as she continues her work on the computer.

"Should we tell the Penguin? Though he might know already." Craig said.

"I'll go talk to him. See what else he knows." Ravi said as he creates a ball of fire in his hand.

"I'm gonna go talk to Grandpa Blinky. He was with the League when they took down the Court of Owls. He might know something that we don't." Deya said.

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot he gave up the Rooster Miraculous to go back to being the Elder of Trollmarket." Durak said.

"Bingo! Looks like the Court has a secret shipment being shipped to them from New York City." Nellie said.

"Great. We'll go there while you guys deal with your own missions." Spike said.

Arcadia
Trollmarket

Deya was now back in Trollmarket as she searches for Blinky. She then Blinky drinking Glug with others.

"Deya! Ah, my sweet granddaughter! Good to see you again." Blinky said hugging her as Dictatious showed up.

"Ahhh... good to see you Deya." Dictatious said.

"Hello Dic." Deya said.

"So what can we do for you?" Blinky asked as he and Dic drink.

"Tell me what you guys know about the Court of Owls." Deya asked.

Blinkous and Dictatious spits out their drinks in shock. All the other trolls heard that and turned around in shock. Blinky chuckles nervously as he makes it nothing to panic about for them.

"Nothing to see here." Blinkous laughs trying to calm them down. "Best we speak about this in private."

They then headed to the Galadrigal's library as they made sure they were in private.

"Okay, first off... why would you want to know the Court of Owls?" Blinky asked.

"They were wiped out years ago. We were there as we helped the League destroy them." Dic said.

"Well, we recently discovered that they're back. One of them survived and is now the leader." Deya explained.

"Oh dear... that is not good." Blinkous said worried.

"We must alert the League! We need to message them this terrible news." Dictatious said.

"We can't! They're light years away on Cybertron. They'll never get our message, and even if they could, it would take them a long time to get back here."

"Okay, because me and my friends are handling them. They seem to be working with someone else. I was hoping if you knew anything else about them that wasn't included in the JL files." Deya explained.

"Hmmm... well, the Court was or is a secret society compromise of only the most elite and corrupted figures, the Court of Owls is a veritable who's who of Gotham City's wealthy sociopaths. The Court believes they own the city, and they enforce that idea with an army of assassins, called Talons, ready to kill anyone who gets in their way." Blinky explained.

"Wow. Gotham City really known for having crazy people there." Deya said.

"Batman found proof of their existence going far back as 1862, when they unleashed a Talon called the Gotham Butcher on political targets. Instead of killing his prey, as intended, and disappearing into the night, the Talon made a spectacle of his murders and attracted the attention of the newspapers. In 1891, a photographer tried to expose the Court of Owls' nefarious activities and was hanged for his actions. And in 1914, Court member, Benjamin Orchard, punish Gotham City's mayor and imprisoned him in the Court's labyrinth that runs beneath the city streets." Dictatious explained.

"Wow... they really didn't want anyone to reveal themselves." Deya said a little horrified by their actions.

"Yes, but Bruce and the League were able to wipe them out... though now it seems we didn't wipe them all out." Blinkous said.

"So what do they want?" Deya asked.

"Immortality. They wanted their Court to last for an eternity. Gathering members to strengthen their Court wasn't enough. They wanted to expand their life. Hence..." Dictatious spoke.

"The Fountain of Youth. But they never found it." Deya said.

"Yes. But they did manage to find the Lazarus Pits. Luckily, Thea Queen managed to have destroyed all except the League of Assassins' temple pit." Blinky said.

"Okay but isn't there anything that you know or at least someone of the trolls that has information about them?" Deya asked.

"Ah-ha! According to legend, only one scholar, the Intelligent Angus, did discover the Court of Owls had a network of tunnels that connected their hideouts to each other. Similar to what the Serpentine did in Ninjago." Blinky said pulling out a book.

"Whoa... that is helpful. Thank you, Grandpa and Dictatious." Deya asked.

"Deya! Please be careful, the Court is NOT something to take lightly. They are ruthless. Kid or not, they will show no mercy. No matter how old you are." Blinky warmed his beloved granddaughter.

"Relax grandpa, I've got my friends to back me up and support me." Deya said confident.

"Good. I do wish I could come with you, but I am needed here. My days as a superhero are unfortunately over." Blinky said talking about his job as Elder of Trollmarket.

"I understand." Deya said.

"But to add some more muscle, take Stixx to help you." Dictatious said as Stixx then showed up.

"Hey Deya. You ready?" Stixx said happily.

"Oh yeah I am." Deya said.

Gotham City

Ravi then opened the doors to Penguin's office as he saw him eat some fish.

"Hello, Penguin." Ravi said sternly to him.

"So, you do know how to use a door." Oswald said as he stopped eating.

"When I'm in the mood. Now you got some explaining to do. Like how your grandmother is a member of the Court of Owls." Ravi said.

"I already know. She and her friends trying to reshape Gotham, but your parents stopped them. Now I hear she and the Court are up to something big with a powerful partner." Oswald said as he ate.

"Can you tell me what they're up to?" Ravi asked.

"Ha! Like she would tell me. But I heard something about New York City with a piece of tech. Try checking there." Oswald said.

"Thanks." Ravi said as he walks out.

"Good luck, you'll need it. Your parents couldn't stop them... so what makes you think you can?" Oswald said.

"Because we're stronger and smarter." Ravi said as he left.

New York City

The heroes were now in New York City, the Big Apple. They looked around as they look for the shipment the Court wanted.

"So we're looking for the shipment that the Court wants. Best if we look for the docks to find the shipment." Mia said.

"Agreed. Maybe this shipment will give us a clue in what the Court is up to." Johnny said.

"Hey... guys look! Is that..?" DK Jr. said pointing.

The team then looked to see Trevor Bradford, son of Dogpound and Tyler Steranko, son of Bebop and Rocksteady, walking by eating hot dogs and drinking slushies.

"Trevor! Tyler! It's you guys!" Garble shouts in joy.

"Hey guys, it's been a long time since I've seen you all." Trevor said.

"How are you guys?" Tyler asked.

"Good. We're on a mission here." Ralph said.

"Cool, maybe we can help." Tyler said.

"Well, maybe you..." Leander spoke when they suddenly heard an explosion.

"There's an attack happening a laboratory." Zeke informs them.

"Let's go!" Spike shouts as he sped off.

"Wait for us! Not all of us have super speed!" Claws shout.

"Wait! What about the shipment?" Rex shouts.

"We'll split up!" Luke shouts as he takes his team to go after the shipment as Mia takes her team to go after the explosion.

It was Oscorp was under attack as a man in a goofy outfit came out with some of his goons carrying a strange looking device.

"Trickster?!" Bart said shocked.

"Oh hello kids! I didn't expect to see you here. No matter, I got plenty of tricks for all of you!" Trickster laughed as he prepares to fight.

"Bring it on!" Donkey Kong Jr. said as he pounded his chest.

"Get that machine out of here!!! I got these chums!" Trickster tells his goons.

The team of heroes then began to fight the Trickster as he began to throw explosive rubber balls at them.

"Really? Rubber balls?" Deya laughed as she sliced them in half.

"How about some of my Axid!" Trickster laughed as he pulls out his weaponized Nerf gun and began to shoot acid at them.

Meanwhile at the docks, some of the heroes were now dealing with some Talon assassins as Worrax came across a familiar wolf.

"Heilang!" Worrax growled recognizing the wolf. 

"Hello Worrax, your father and I have a score to settle, but I guess I'll have to do with you!" Heilang said as he pulls out his chained hammer.

He then began to whip his chained hammer trying to hit Worrax as he uses his smoke form to phase and dodge each blow attack.

"My father told me everything about you and your fighting technique!" Worrax says as he uses his Typhokinesis to fight.

"Come on!" Marc shouts as he powers up with an ice flower.

"Lin Kuei, ATTACK!!!!" Heilang shouts to his ninjas.

Suddenly more Wolf Assassins appeared as they attacked with their chained hammers.

"Incoming!" Rex shouts to his friends.

The wolf ninjas then began fight the heroes as Worrax and Heilang settled their grudge. 

"Ninjas vs Ninjas? Ha! How awesome, dude!" Grogus said to Rocky as he hammer whacks a Wolf Ninja.

"Yeah, bro!" Rocky said as he fist-bumped him.

"What are you up to, Trickster?" XS demanded as she fights him.

"Oh nothing much! These weirdos in owl masks hired

"The Court of Owls?! What do they want?" Mia demands as she fought a

"Ha! Like I'm gonna tell ya! Even if I could, they wouldn't tell me." Trickster laughs.

Worrax and Heilang continue to fight each other as they weren't backing down.

"You fight well! Your father taught you well, but not good enough! I was trained from birth as the rest of us assassins!" Heilang barked.

He threw some shurikens at Worrax who phased through them in his Smoke Form.

"So was I!" Worrax growled as the two fight at each other like wild animals.

Some of the Wolf Assassins began to move the cargo away when Zeke froze it in ice.

"I don't think so!" Zeke said to them.

"Boss! Let's get out of here!" A Wolf Ninja shouts to Heilang.

"No! I'm not running!" Heilang growled as he wasn't gonna back down.

"Boss, we need to go, now!" The Wolf Ninja shouted.

"This isn't over!" Heilang said as he turns invisible and fled.

"Forget them! At least we got what they were trying to take." Gruff said looking at the cargo.

"Ugh, you guys are no fun!" Trickster whined.

"That's because your tricks are old, you jester!" Dragon Flash said.

"Old?! How DARE YOU!!! These tricks are classics!" Trickster said as he threw a rubber ball bomb.

DK Jr. then granted in mid air and threw it back at him.

"Boss, we got the package safe! Let's get out of here!" A goon said to Trickster.

"Ugh, time to go! See ya!" Trickster laughs as he teleports away.

Hall of Justice

"So we did manage to get the shipment from Heilang, but we failed to the Trickster from stealing whatever it is he stole." Rex said.

"Yeah, that's just great." Leander said sarcastically.

"Well, I asked Oscorp what was stole some kind of solar power generator prototype. Said it could be used to power a city if possible." Trevor said.

"Really? Why would the Court want him to steal that?" Craig asked.

"I don't know, but I know that it's not good." Trevor said.

"I just took a look at the cargo and it looks like alien tech." Mika said.

"Hey guys! So I went back to the hideout of the Court and scanned the place for anything weird and I picked up an extraterrestrial signature." Razen said showing his scans.

"Wait! If these alien tech... and if one of the heat signatures was extraterrestrial... then that means..." Laura said as they began to realize.

"The partner of the Court of Owls is an alien." Bart said with horror.
