Chapter 1: New Berk, Birthday Party
ReptileEdge
Drago's journey is only beginning
New Berk
"This is New Berk, around the year of 2022. The best side of the North Sea of the United Kingdom. Granted, it may not look like much, but this huge heap of rock packs more than a few surprises. Life is quiet okay and amazing, just not for the faint of heart. We live in a world where the impossible is possible. Around the world, there are many things out there that are impossible. Meta-humans, aliens, magical creatures, robots, technology beyond anything. But here in New Berk, we Berkians have...
DRAGONS!!!
5 dragons were now flying high in the air together in a order through the cold breeze.
"Now dragons used to be a bit of a problem here, but that was years ago. Now they've all moved in. And really, why wouldn't they? New Berk is pretty much perfect now. All of my hard work had paid off. And it's a good thing too, because with Vikings on the backs of dragons... it just adds to the list of the impossible."
"My name is Henry Horrendous Haddock the third, but you can just call me Hiccup. Great name I know, it's kind of a long story. My real name was my grandfather's name and my father wanted me to be just like him. My grandfather was a general in the army and everything a red blooded Viking should be; strong, brave, confident, a born leader. My father inherited all this from him and more and he wanted me to follow in their foot-steps."
Unfortunately, I didn't.
"But I found a way to bring peace to both Vikings and dragons. And that's something right? My father is a man of tradition and old thinking. You see, believe it or not we have Viking blood. That's what my father wants me to be; a strong, brave Viking. On a side note my uncle, Spike or Spitlout, don't ask, told me once that when my father was a baby he popped an dragon's head clean off its shoulders with his bare hands. Do I believe it.... yes I do. Anyway, the Viking thing is also where the wonderful middle name comes from. My father's name is Stoick the Vast. I kid you not... it was my grandfather's idea."
"It fits him, at least in my opinion, even when he's happy, he hardly ever smiles. Well, only more when my mother; Valka is around. She the first dragon rider before me... which is something to be impressed. My father is a four star general who is usually never around because of his job, but I also think it's because he couldn't handle my failures that always seem to happen when I was little. Then again it's alright. I've grown used to my own company. It's somewhat helped my school life."
The five riders were now flying at high speed to get to their destination. There was a Night Fury, Deadly Nadder, Gronkle, Monstrous Nightmare, and a Zippleback with young adults on their backs. It was a building up in a mountain.
"This is Berk Academy. Its twelve days north of hopeless and a few degrees south of freezing to death. Apparently we students think better when we're frozen. Among other strange things about us, for some odd reason Berk has had a tradition to give all the students and teachers nicknames. Which kind of explains the name Hiccup. When I first came to this school, I had the hiccups for an entire week
and was granted the name Hiccup. It's not the worst name they have, according to Viking tradition; a terrifying name scares away gnomes and trolls even though they don't exist, or but I always thought their charming Viking demeanor could do that all on its own."
Hiccup and his friends arrived as they walked down the halls of the school towards the classrooms. He and his friends were graduating soon.
"There ya are lad!" That would be Gordon Belch or Gobber, the large man, with the braided mustache, and had a robotic left arm and a robotic peg leg where his right leg should have been.
"He is my father's best friend and right hand man. He works for the government as their weapons specialist. He also happens to be one of the best mechanics in the world and the school's mechanic teacher. I've been his apprentice ever since I was little... well littler. The big tough-looking Robot Master is Muscle Man. He's Gobber's robot assistant who helps him test out his new weapons.
(He's the one with M on his chest in the center)
"Ever since Dr. Thomas Light and S.T.A.R. Labs created and released their many Robot Masters to the whole wide world, people have been seen with robots helping them. There are some things that dragons can't do that robots can. There are a few Robot Masters in New Berk, construction, mining, service, combat, and entertainment ones. One of them is Viking Man, a robot metalhead.
His bio: TBN-019 Viking Man
Viking Man is a robot guitarist built for a heavy metal band called Metallic Winter. Once the band split he pursued a solo career in Norway which proved to be very popular, particularly in the underground community. He uses his axe guitar as his primary form of defense.
Good point: Talented
Bad point: Short-tempered
Likes: Slow-performances
Dislikes: Protestors
Weapon: Metal Sonicwave
"Valhalla, I am coming."
Viking Man is one of the most popular Robot Masters in New Berk. Now that he's got a new band and is the leader of it. He's been known for being quite the entertainment for New Berk."
"Where have ya been?" Gobber asked. He had been working on a new weapon design.
"Sorry, Gobber. We had some trouble getting here." Hiccup said as they head inside.
"The teenagers behind me are my friends. That would be the twins Rebecca and Tristan otherwise known as Ruffnut and Tuffnut Thorston for them both being the toughest in the school, not to mention the craziest. They argue here and there and always gets into trouble. A lot of trouble. Not a moment can go by without one or both of them causing chaos.
Francis or Fishlegs Ingerman for his tiny legs I'm guessing, at least compared to the rest of his body. He's considered the smartest man in New Berk. He not only studies dragons, but other creatures in our world as well. He's know in New Berk for his knowledge about dragons and other creatures out there. He even wrote a book he called: Dragons and Beings of the Unknown, which became a very popular book to the world. Made a fortune.
Then there's my cousin; Scott or Snotlout Jorgenson and honestly I don't know or care to know how he got that name. Snotlout is very arrogant, bordering on narcissistic and prone to grandiose delusions of perfection, popularity and extreme attractiveness and consequentially his egomania causes him to have a huge problem with authority or being able to admit responsibility for his mistakes or misdeeds, for which he always has some justification. He is confrontational, brutally frank, and stubborn.
Then... Astrid Hofferson. She's a girl who is tough as nails, and happens to be my girlfriend now. Astrid is an extremely smart, striking, dutiful and immensely individual devoted to her cause who used to be patriotic of the "Viking ways" until dragons became an integral part of Berk. Competitive by nature and highly dedicated, Astrid works hard to achieve her goals. She pushed herself to become a better fighter. After bonding closely with Stormfly, Astrid's focus shifted to becoming a masterful Dragon Rider. She is the champion of the dragon races and her determined and strong personality makes her hard to impress."
"Hiccup!" Hiccup sighed as he was dragged back into the classroom.
"Come on Gobber, I have to get to class." Hiccup said.
"You still have a few minutes, besides I wanted to let you know that your father was on his way home from his business trip!" Gobber said as his robotic hand change into his welding tool.
"Oh great!" Hiccup said sarcastically as he put his things away.
"Now come on, Hiccup it's not that bad." Gobber told him coming to stand in front of him, "He just wants you to think about becoming the new chief." He finished.
"I just don't think I'm ready yet." Hiccup said somewhat miffed.
"You are! You just got to believe in yourself!" Gobber said with a smile.
"Oh yeah." Hiccup said sarcastically.
"I mean it boy, you'll do great. Once you graduate." Gobber said.
"Thanks." Hiccup said as Toothless rubbed against him.
Gobber then shoved Hiccup into the hall, "Now get to class."
He then sees his friends unpacking and headed to the science room as Gobber entered.
"Okay, class... today we're going to talk about something else besides dragons before you graduate. We're gonna talk about the Multiverse." Gobber said as he begins to show it on the board.
"Oooh. The Multiverse, how interesting. One of my favorite topics." Fishlegs said.
"Uhh... what's the Multiverse?" Snotlout asked. Gobber then shows a hologram of many Earths.
"The multiverse is a hypothetical collection of
potentially diverse observable universes, each of
which would comprise everything that is
experimentally accessible by a connected
community of observers, but it can be more then
that, study shows that multiverse is that our
universe, with all its hundreds of billions of
galaxies and almost countless stars." Gobber presses a button on the hologram and infinite galaxies
surrounded the room, amazing the riders.
"Spanning tens of billions of light-years, may not be
the only one but that's not true, there have been
some theories about breaches opening to different
kinds of earths." he goes to the board as his server
cuddles turns on the lights to the board, "Now
imagine-" he draws different earths.
"There are multiple versions of earth: where the
Nazis won World War II, Kennedy was never
assassinated or won were all of us, including me turn evil, one where dinosaurs are alive, all of these earths occupy the same place in space but they vibrate at a different frequency or in this case summon, so they can't see one another but if it were open by some unexplained case it would open up a breach and you could travel between worlds." he turns off the hologram as Muscle Man turns all the lights off, everyone was amazed by the theory as they muttered somethings.
"Wow! I wonder what worlds are out there." Tuffnut said.
"Me too!" Ruffnut piped up.
"I wondered first!" Tuffnut said butting heads as they argued.
"Well, with some help, I think I found a mechanical way to open a breach to an alternate dimension." Gobber said showing off the machine to the teenagers.
"Looks like an engine for focusing subatonic vibrations." Fishlegs said examining it.
"Yep. I thought I could use Atlantean tech to tackle perpetual motion, one of science's greatest problems to open a breach." Gobber explained.
"Yet, I don't think the breach will be stable. The hallway of the breach needs to be stable in order to allow a person or a thing to go through." Fishlegs said.
"Exactly. I just need to stabilize it with CFL Quark Matter." Gobber said.
"Ah, negative energy density with positive surface pressure. That's a good idea." Fishlegs said.
"So! I want all of you to each try to do some research on the Multiverse and give me a report on it by next week. Dismissed." Gobber said as the bell rang.
Soon after school the riders then headed off to the Dragon's Claw, a place where most Berkians hanged out. Gobber was there as well. Everyone was having a great time playing games, drink, and talking.
Hiccup then sees Alvin the Treacherous and his gang show up.
"Oh boy." Hiccup thought. Alvin the Treacherous was one of his dad's old friends. He is a nasty and cruel individual, no doubt due to his banishment. He was banished due to a high number of casualties caused by his recklessness. He is a very intelligent individual and a capable but ruthless leader. He also seems to have a dark sense of humor, much like every villain in a story. But when Dagur took over, Alvin and Stoick became friends and helped each other ever since that battle against the dragon hunters.
"Hello, Hiccup." Alvin said with a grunt.
"Hey, Alvin... what's going on now?" Hiccup asked.
"I thought I should congratulate the soon-to-be chief." Alvin whispered.
"Who told you that?" Hiccup asked in shock.
"Your father and mother." Alvin answered. Hiccup groaned.
"Don't worry, boy. Your secret is safe with me." Alvin said. Hiccup smiled and nodded.
"Hey guy! Check it out!" Fishlegs said pointing to the TV. Everyone was watching so Hiccup and Alvin decided to see what was the commotion.
They see the news of America of Flash, Green Arrow, Supergirl, White Canary, and the Bad Guys take down Atomic Skull, Riddler, Mirror Master, and KG-Beast.
"You see! We should be fighting villains like that! Instead all we fight are other dragons and dragon hunters." Snotlout said.
"I think it's best if don't look for fights like that. We already have enough trouble here, we don't need more." Astrid said.
"Oh, come on! Would it be awesome to fight alongside the Justice League? To see them fight?" Snotlout asked.
"It would be cool to do that. Plus to see all of that technology they use." Fishlegs said in joy thinking about it.
"Yeah sure, nerd. I bet we could defeat a supervillain like that." Snotlout said as Ruffnut and Tuffnut agreed. As this they saw a couple argue as they left.
"That is why I've never married. That... and one other reason." Gobber said.
"Well, we best be going. My dad's going to be back soon." Hiccup said.
As the kids leave, Gobber then thinks back to his old life when he once fell in love with someone.
Old Berk
Gobber had never fancied himself a romantic. He didn't fantasize about taking any of the girls on walks along the rocky beaches or through the thick forests of the island. His heart didn't flutter at the idea of looking deep into their eyes or asking for their hands in marriage. It just wasn't something that seemed appealing to him.
And this was much to the chagrin of his father, who
matched his son up with every passing shield-maiden and baker.
"You're twenty years old, Gobber. It's time for you to get married, start a family." His father said.
The idea turned his stomach. It really did.
"Son, you can't avoid it. Not anymore." He added.
He was formulating a response that would do just that when a shout erupted from the mouth of the Hall: "Ships! Ships on the horizon! Report to battle
positions!"
"Thank the Gods," Gobber thought. He vaulted off the bench and toward the door without a backward glance.
To their credit, the Vikings sobered up and emptied the Hall with great speed. Gobber was caught in the
swarm, but managed to extract himself just in time to grab hold of a rung on the ladder that led up to his
watchtower.
It was positioned to the west of the docks, and from the top he had a clear view of half of the island's beaches. He'd been restricted to a non-combat position since the loss of his hand, and wouldn't be put back on the ground until it'd healed and he could wield weapons effectively again. He understood the chief's decision, because he would be a weakness if events turned for the worse, but that didn't mean he was happy about it.
After scrambling up the ladder-much harder now than it used to be-he pulled a short knife out of the
waistband of his trousers and settled in to his watch
position. The tower was actually quite spacious, at
Gobber's current size. It was designed to fit even the
biggest villager, which Gobber was not and probably
would never be. And Vikings tended to grow up before they grew out, so he had a substantial amount of bulking up to do before he reached his full size.
In his excitement, Gobber didn't bother with the ladder on the way down. He bounded over the dirt paths through the forest and the village and wove down the ramps to the bottom as fast as his legs would take him.
His natural curiosity would not be sated by anything other than immediate information. Spotting Alvilda the Fierce, he slid to a stop and blurted, "What's going on?"
She turned to him, a small amount of surprise showing on her face. "These ships were attacked by dragons during their voyage," the master trainer said simply.
"They are of an ally tribe, so we have offered them a
place to stay until their ships are repaired. That is all I know at the moment." She said.
Gobber nodded and approached the ship. Men and
women, anywhere from Gobber's age to village elders, were already unloading themselves. They didn't have much to carry with them-either they'd planned for a short trip, or they'd lost a lot of it in the attack.
He stepped up to the plank, only a few yards long, and reached out his hand, grasping the forearm of the next villager to come ashore. With the added support, he could clamber onto the dock easily. Gobber accepted his thanks and reached out for the next person.
He continued to help the villagers onto shore, and as
the ship cleared out, even more damage became
evident. These ships probably wouldn't have lasted
another day at sea.
As he squinted at a tribal emblem carved into the main mast, he took hold of another hand absently. It jerked suddenly, nearly tearing out of his grip.
The man let out a surprised yelp as he teetered on the plank, one foot thrown out to the side.
Managing to keep a hold on the man's wrist, Gobber
saved him from a swim by pulling him forward onto
the dock. He fell toward Gobber, who put out his stump reflexively before realizing what an awful idea that was. He resigned himself instead to being knocked to his back on the wooden docks. The man landed on him with a thud, and any air that may have been left in Gobber's lungs was pressed out.
He saw stars for a few moments, and barely registered when the other man rolled off of his chest.
He felt like a fish, taking in great gulps of air until his vision cleared.
Next to him, the man pushed up to his feet, dusted off his knees, and held out his hand-first one and then the other, seeing the problem-to help Gobber up.
"I'm very sorry," he apologized in earnest as he pulled Gobber to his feet. "I'm as clumsy as a blind yak, I swear it."
"No need to apologize," replied Gobber with a wave of his stump.
He shook his head a little, ridding it of the lingering
dizziness, and took a good look at the man.
Roughly Gobber's age, he had the kind of hair that was almost but not quite black, and blue eyes that jumped out of a dark-skinned face. He had a broad nose, but not as broad as the grin that seemed to sit naturally on his mouth. And he nearly towered over Gobber, but he was used to that. He was far from the tallest viking on Berk, and people from anywhere else wouldn't be much different.
As he finished his scrutiny, Gobber stuck out his hand. 'I'm Gobber."
The man nodded and shook Gobber's hand firmly,
saying after a split-second's hesitation: "You can call
me Ragnar."
"Well, Ragnar." Gobber said, starting to walk up the dock to the village, "Welcome to Berk. We haven't got much for fun things to do around here, unless you enjoy rocky beaches and dark forests."
Gobber then Ragnar showed him around the island and showed him his favorite spots. They also forged weapons together and talked about their lives. Ragnar then explained his situation: he was getting married as part of a treaty, to the future chief of the Clamour Tribe. A woman who he had no interest in marrying but he had no choice, and Gobber pitted him. As they spent time together, they didn't know that they started to share a bond.
At this time of year, as the coldest season crept toward Berk, the dragon raids always increased as the beasts stored up food for winter. This year had been no different. Several nights a week, the cry of alarm would be heard through rain or sleet or even a clear sky, and the tired but prepared villagers would roll out of their beds and reach for their weapons. For the most part, the attacks hadn't been bad enough to call the entire village to arms; only the warriors by trade would fend them off.
The other vikings, though they knew very well how to fight the beasts, had duties to attend to the next
morning that didn't mix well with sleep loss. On the rare occasions that the dragons had mounted a large-scale attack, and everyone was called to fight,
Ragnar proved an invaluable partner. His skill with a
sword mesmerized Gobber, and the pair took down a
number of dragons together. With their weapons of
choice, they were unbeatable.
But on the quiet nights, the two enjoyed a different kind of companionship.
"You'll not get away this time, you sorry scoundrel!"
bellowed Ragnar, weaving around the tables of the forge with practiced ease. Gobber could only barely keep ahead of him, but he had the advantage of twenty years of familiarity over the other mans two months. He knew his way around with just enough refinement to put distance between them.
He darted around the end of a table, and found himself facing Ragnar across the cluttered surface. It seemed a good moment to stop and catch their breath, which was hard to do through their laughter. It would cease for only a few moments, but when the two dared to look at each other, the insane giggles began again. It went on as such for several minutes, until they were mostly quiet.
But, sadly, all good things must come to an end.
His friend snatched up a dull, bent sword that they
were supposed to have repaired last week, and pointed it at Gobber. Or, at least, he gave the illusion of it, but with the damaged blade it was hard to tell.
"That's not fair!" Gobber complained, and reached a
poker out of the hot coals in the hearth. He made an
experimental jab at Ragnar, who jumped out of the way.
"And that is?" He eyed the glowing orange end with
open unease. Gobber considered that, pursed his lips, and nodded.
"Aye, I'd say so." Ragnar said.
And with that, he charged around the table with his
weapon held high and a battle cry fit for war. Ragnar danced away, leaving the sword to clatter on the table as tears of laughter streamed down his face.
Gobber discarded the poker in a bucket of water and
increased his speed of pursuit. When he got close
enough to Ragnar, he leapt onto the man's back.
They fell to the floor in a wrestling heap.
One of Ragnar's palms pressed against his face,
obscuring his vision and making it difficult to breathe. He reached around blindly to find a similar point of weakness on his friend, and used his stump to wrap the offending hand and pull it out of his face.
Their legs engaged in their own wrestling match, kicking out every which way before getting tangled among the others. Gobber laughed until he saw stars and gasped for breath, but could never be brought to surrender.
The creak of the old wooden door into the house
interrupted their battle. They fell silent and still as
Gobber's father called, "Gobber, are you-oh, uh-"
"Dad!" Gobber cried. He detached himself from Ragnar and stood hastily, heat rising to his face. Ragnar did the same, and they stood next to each other like two boys caught doing something they shouldn't.
Which they hadn't been. They were just messing
around, having fun. Nothing to be embarrassed about. Or so he told himself, but he couldn't seem to bring himself to even look at his father.
"What did you... what do you need?" he blustered.
His father blinked a few times, as though trying to
remember what exactly he'd come in here for. "The
Hoffersons want to know when you'll have their sword repaired. It should be done by now."
Gobber glanced furtively at the sword Ragnar had used to threaten him. In truth, they could have easily finished it by last week, but their boy was a constant nuisance in Dragon Training and Gobber had wanted to make him wait.
"It'll be done tomorrow." he promised. His father
nodded and made a hasty retreat.
As the door closed behind him, Gobber and Ragnar
looked at each other. All the childish laughter had
passed, replaced by an uncomfortable silence that
neither of them liked.
Ragnar quietly turned away and went to the fire, sitting down on the mat that made Gobber's bed and holding out his hands for warmth. Gobber stood there for a few seconds longer, until a draft of cold wind passed through and nudged him toward the fire.
He sat down just to Ragnar's left, but an invisible barrier kept space between them. His friend kept silent, not letting out even a whistle to ease the tension. The fire crackled slowly, oblivious to the cold wind that tried to snuff it out. It cast a soft glow into the forge but the places it didn't reach were dark and menacing, and made Gobber want to huddle closer to the fire. Gobber and Ragnar were sad that this couldn't continue with Ragnar leaving next week. They just hoped to enjoy the moments left.
It was moments like these that hurt the most for
Gobber. The moments that taunted him with
everything he knew would never be.
Because as soon as the healer gave his word, Ragnar's tribe would send off. Two of the ships would return to their island, in the case that the advance party had returned home, and the other two would go ahead to Shatter island, where Ragnar's future waited. They avoided the subject whenever possible, but it had a bad habit of surfacing every now and then. Ragnar cleared his throat, fixing his eyes on their hands.
"Gobber, promise me something." Ragnar said.
"Anything." Gobber said.
"Don't-don't marry someone, if you don't love them." He said.
Gobber blinked, unsure of what to say. Ragnar squeezed his hand tighter.
"Because I can't. I don't get to choose, so you have to. Please." Ragnar said. He swallowed hard, finally finding his words.
"But what if I already chose you?" Gobber said.
Ragnar's eyes closed, the rest of his face crunching
around them. A line of water welled around their edges, and leaked out to dribble down his face before his eyes opened again.
"Don't say that, Gobber." He turned away and took a
deep, shuddering breath.
"It's the truth. And I swear, Ragnar, that I will never marry anyone who is not you." Gobber said.
He fell heavily onto Gobber's shoulder, burying the
unburned half of his face into the fabric there. "You
don't know that."
"Yes I do," Gobber said with absolute certainty.
"Because no one will ever be you. No one will ever have your eyes, and I don't want any eyes but yours to ever look at me the way yours do. There will never be another with your mouth, to talk to me like you do and to make me want to kiss you so badly every time-" Gobber spoke before being cut off.
By now, tears traced steady lines down both of their
faces, and Gobber tasted the saltiness of them as
Ragnar's lips pressed against his own. It was a stolen kiss, chaste as young love but passionate as true romance. Though Gobber ached to wrap his arms around Ragnar, run his fingers through his hair, feel the sheer realness of him, he didn't. Their wounds kept them apart, their only points of contact their lips and their laced fingers.
He felt Ragnar's grimace as he raised his other arm
enough to cup his hand around Gobber's chin, tilting
his head up more toward his own.
The kiss lasted mere moments-oh, gods, he wanted it
to last forever-and when they pulled apart neither of
them spoke. Ragnar didn't look at him, and when his lips parted he said quietly: "I love you. Thank you."
A wry smile tugged at Gobber's mouth.
"Don't worry about it." He said.
He left three days later.
Gobber had forgotten what it was like not to have
someone by his side constantly, and now often found
himself making a remark to no one. It all seemed too
quiet without the sound of Ragnar's easy whistling to fill the silence. Everything just seemed empty without the refugees on Berk.
The tables of Meade Hall were all but barren in the
evenings, and only subdued conversation floated
through the cavernous space. Villagers found
themselves with idle time that would have been
otherwise spent on boat work. His father's grumbles
about forge work lacked any particular conviction.
Even his search to find a wife for Gobber slowed to a
stop, as if he knew the pain Gobber felt over Ragnar's loss. He would occasionally point out someone-man or woman-raise his eyebrows and say, "That one's nice."
But upon Gobber's shake of the head would always drop the subject.
As months passed, his wounds healed as entirely as
they ever truly would, and he learned how to function with pieces of himself missing. Some days he would still find himself searching for the speck of ships on the horizon, as though his love would reappear to fill the void in his chest.
As years passed, even that dulled to the occasional
lonely night by the forge fire, with the faint
reminiscence of hot-poker tag and wrestling matches, of late nights in the Arena and long hours of boat work. He found other things to occupy his time, of course, and at some point he realized that despite his heart being somewhere else in the world, he had found happiness in his life. He became the new chief's closest advisor, and taught Dragon Training every summer without fail for thirty years until the island of Berk changed for good. After that, he adapted to the new way of life easily, and went months at a time without thinking of Ragnar.
Flashback Over
Gobber then decided to head back to his home. As he does he checks his locket with has a picture of him and Ragnar. He smiles and still wonders what happened to his old friend.

Central City
The Bad Guys were now celebrating Snake's 30th birthday and Princess' 18th birthday with the Justice League at the Hall of Justice. Every member was there including the Bad Guys parents and families. Piranha's 900,543 brothers, his parents, Shark's father, mother, his brothers and sisters, Wolf's dad, Snake's dad, and Webs' mother. It was a big wonderful party.
"Now this is how one parties, bud." Wolf said to Snake. He, Snake, Webs, Shark, Piranha, and Diane were sitting in a booth watching the party.
"Yep, I can't believe our little Princess is an adult now." Snake said as they watch Princess talking with Thrasher, Damien, Garth, Dick Grayson, and Guts Man.
"Our little Princess is not so little anymore." Webs said. They then saw Shark crying a bit. To the point tears were running down his face.
"Hey Shark, what's the matter?" Wolf asked.
"It's... it's just(sniffs) pretty soon (sob) she'll be heading off (sob) to college... which means she'll leave us!" Shark said as he bursted into more tears. Soon Piranha and Webs started to cry too.
"Great! Now you got me crying." Piranha sobbed.
"I know! It's so sad!" Webs cried as well. The three hug each other as they cried together.
"Don't worry, she won't be leaving us, I'll make sure of it." Snake said.
"You guys need to start letting her try something new, go to new places and do new things." Diane says.
"She's our daughter, we decided how to raise her
and we say she's not ready to explore yet." Wolf said.
"You can't just keep her locked up away from trying
new experiences." She said.
"No. Just watch us." Snake said.
"You guys need to know that she's not a
little girl anymore." Diane said
"She's still our little girl." Snake says.
"Little girls grow up." Diane added.
Then Snake turns around to face Diane.
"Oh yeah, well I'm going to make sure that doesn't happen." He said.
"After all of these years... why are you still acting like this? Like overprotective parents?" Diane asked.
"Because ever since she was little, we use to do things with her. Before our kids were born. " Wolf says.
"But now since she's an adult, the more older she
gets." Snake started.
"The more apart she gets away from us, we barely
see her anymore." Shark cried finishing.
"Oh guys, Princess will always have time for you
guys but there comes a time when you need to start
letting her go, she may get older but you'll always
be important to her." Diane said.
The Bad Guys frowned knowing she was right. Princess was an adult. She'll soon be heading off to college soon. Plus she's gotten stronger with her powers lately.
"Why is it so complicated deciding to have a baby? The Batsuit isn't exactly baby proof, but I can't force Sophie into 9 months of indigestion and swollen ankles." Ryan said.
"Sis, you are spiraling. Do you remember when I told you when I was your maid of honor?" Iris asked.
"No, I was busy getting married, not taking notes." Ryan said.
