The Next Day...

"So you guys need my help?" Tails asked.

The current heroes were now at Tail's workshop with Sonic and Shadow being there. Strange and Silver was able to restore their memories as well.

"Yes. You're the only genius we need who can help us. So... got any ideas?" Jim said.

"Well.... I think I have something that can help us." Tails said.

Tails leads the heroes to a covered cloaked object as he pulls the tarp off it. It was a Cosmic Treadmill.

"That's a Cosmic Treadmill." Jim said as he recognized it.

"Yeah... I think I can modify it to act as a conductor to reconnect you guys to the Speed Force. But I'm gonna need help and none of you are mechanical engineers." Tails said.

"Hang on for a second!" Sonic said as he dashed off.

He then comes back in a few seconds with a man wearing a robe and bunny slippers. It was Stuart.

"What the heck?! What just happened?! Who are you guys?" Stuart said panicking.

"Hey it's Stuart." Piranha said.

"How do you know my name?! Who are you guys?!" Stuart said before Silver restored his memories.

"Flash? Bad Guys? What happened?" Stuart asked.

"It's a long story, but long story short, if you don't help us... our world is doomed." Jim said.

"Okay, just tell me what I can do." Stuart said.

As Tails and Stuart work on modifying the treadmill, Barry finds Jim sitting alone and decides to comfort him.

"You okay?" Barry asked.

"I just feel like this is all my fault. Sometimes I think the Amulet made a mistake to choose me as the Trollhunter. I thought Toby could be better than me." Jim explained.

"Merlin once told you that his Amulet doesn't make mistakes, it chose you because you would be the bridge to unite humans and trolls together." Barry said to Jim.

"And because of me, I lost so many friends along the way." Jim said.

"You're not the only one who lose many people. My mom, my dad, H.R, Harry, Jesse, Stein, Sherloque, and Nash. But through all that, I had the rest of my friends and family to back me up and get me keep running." Barry told Jim.

"Barry, may I speak with Master Jim for a moment?" Blinky asked. Barry nodded as he left the two alone.

"I'm sorry Blinky, about everything that has happened. I failed you as a student." Jim said.

"You are more than a student of mine. You are a son to me. A son I loved truly, Jim." Blinky said as he hugged Jim.

"I love you too, dad." Jim said as stays in the hug with his surrogate father. 

Soon the two geniuses were finally done working on the modifications as the heroes came in.

"So it's finished?" Toby asked.

"Yes, it took us all day and night but we finished it." Tails said.

"The treadmills have been modified to replicate the initial jolt to your bodies. About a bolt of 2.86 billion joules of energy. That's a combined equivalent of almost three lightning bolts. It should be enough for you guys." Stuart explained.

"Wait hold on, that would mean a peak current of at least 20, 000 kilo-amps." Webs said.

"Are you insane?! That's more electricity than they give to people in the electric chair." Hyena said.

"Are you saying this plan could kill them?!" Drago exclaimed.

"We have to take that risk. If we don't, we'll never get our lives back." Barry said.

"I lost you before... I won't lose you again." Jim said as he hugs Draal.

"I will always be there for you, Trollhunter." Draal said as he hugs Jim back.

Draal then follows Barry and Piranha on the Cosmic Treadmill as they get ready to run.

"Initiating vibrational engine." Stuart said. Soon the three began to run as fast as they could on the treadmill.

"Releasing the chemicals into their systems." Tails said as injectors inject chemicals in their bodies as they groan and scream in pain a bit.

"Why are you guys doing this?!" Wolf exclaimed as the heroes see them in pain.

"The night Barry was struck by lightning, he was doing a fingerprint analysis. Those chemicals got into his system then, and they are going into all of them." Tails exclaimed.

"So you're injecting them into them?!" Snake exclaimed.

"We have to recreate everything that to Barry that night." Stuart said as he and Tails work on their tablets.

"Don't worry, we're okay!" Piranha screamed in pain.

"Injecting Dark Matter now!" Tails said as Dark Matter flows into them.

Outside, thunderclouds circle above Tail's workshop as a bolt of 2.86 billion joules of energy shot straight into them as they screamed. The blast knocked everyone back against the walls. They got up to see 3 figures sparking yellow, blue, and green lightning. They smile as they see Barry, Draal, and Piranha alive and with their super speed back.

"It worked! You guys are speedsters again!" Toby exclaimed happily.

"Yes! And it feels good to be back." Draal said.

"So now you guys can fix the timeline, right?" Hyena asked.

"Fixing this won't be easy. If the Red Death created multiple anachronisms, the only way to reset the timeline is to turn everything back at the same time." Doctor Strange said.

"Which means we'll need a device to help us. But we don't have time to build one." Stuart said.

"Hey guys! I think I found something." Webs as she shows them a flat plate device on her computer. "It's called the P.E.D. The Particle Eradication Distributor, a device that erases any type of matter."

"So, if we combine the P.E.D and the Time Stones together, any anachronisms on that temporal plane will be erased." Tails said.

"And this could work?" Jim asked.

"Yes it will and you will be wearing it. You messed this up so you have to be the one who fixes this." Doctor Strange said.

"You are the only one who can fix this, if you don't... this world's reality will die." Silver the Hedgehog said.

"Great... okay Bad Guys, it's time for you guys to pull off one more heist." Jim said as the Bad Guys grin at each other.

The Bad Guys were now breaking into S.T.A.R. Labs as they go to steal a component they need. They were now disguised as janitors to steal the P.E.D. device.

"This is gonna be too easy." Wolf said to the gang.

"I've already deactivated the security system so we can enter the Star Archives." Webs said.

Piranha and Hyena then punches a hole through the lock as the door opens. They enter the room with many shelving units and devices all around.

"Okay uh, Webs, where is it?" Wolf asked.

"The P.E.D. is a gold plate device in a hexagon shape. It's in a dark green case." Webs described.

Shark looks around the shelves as he found the case with a specialized lock.

"Found it." Shark said as he gives it to Snake.

"Leave this to me." Snake said as he picks the lock to the case. He unlocked it as he opens it.

"There it is." Shark said as he grabs it.

"Great! Let's get out of here before the guards show up." Drago said as they leave the building.

They soon returned back to the others with the P.E.D. in Wolf's hand.

"Looks like we're not rusty at all." Wolf said as he handed the P.E.D. to Tails and Stuart.

"So let's get to work." Sonic said.

"Look, according to these equations, we'd have to hit Mach 20 in order to open a time portal." Barry said pointing at the drawing board.

"Really?" Blinky said.

"Yeah." Barry answered.

"And is that a problem?" Drago asked.

"To reach that kind of speed, we would need 40,000 miles. That kind of runway doesn't exist." Barry said.

"Yes it does." Stuart said as he spins an Earth globe model around. "Is that big enough?"

"Yes, but the Earth isn't just a solid rock. It has a molten core. The kind of pressure we'd be exerting on its mantle would cause cataclysmic damage. We're talking volcanoes erupting, ice caps melting, earthquakes, tornadoes, tsunami... it'd be Armageddon." Barry said with realization.

"So in order to save the world and bring back our old lives..." Wolf said.

"We'd have to risk destroying it, just like Death predicted." Barry said.

"So what are our chances of succeeding with this plan?" Toby asked. 

"Very slim." Blinky said as Aarghaumont does a gesture with his hand.

"Welp, we're doomed." Webs said.
