Hey everyone thanks so much for making it all the way up to this point! I understand how frustrated you might be and if I didn't know what was planned for Ryan and Ava, I'd be getting desperate too. The thing is, that it's not just about Ryan and Ava misunderstanding the signals between them, it's also a reflection on the type of people they are too. This story isn't just about the romance, it's about the characters and how to change and develop as a result of the events that take place. It's because they like each other so much that they've become self conscious and wonder about the kind of person they want to be as well as the one they THINK they should be in order for the other person to like them. It's about self-discovery. I didn't want to write a story where, if you took out the romance aspect, you'd have very bland and 2 dimensional characters with no life of their own without cliched interactions with each other.

Things are going a little slowly right now as I'm trying to work out how to best execute the next chapters, because a LOT happens (mostly thanks to Brad and his wicked streak) and on top of that I'm super busy because uni started again and I'm already behind in work.

If it will appease you a little bit for now, I can tell you that Brad will be in the next 4 or 5 chapters, that there will be a new twist that causes Ava to change drastically, and finally there will be a chapter focused on their Senior Prom. I cannot stress how much you should look forward to the Prom chapter because I seriously had butterflies in my stomach when I started writing test excerpts for it.

So as you can see, even though it's been frustrating, I've still got a lot of twists and turns to include and it'll all be worth following their journey. The story will be anything but boring so please bear with me for now!
