Aria

Today's the first day of school. We moved 4 months ago, mom said I should've went ahead and got into the school but I honestly didn't want to so she said I could wait until the next year. I'm seventeen, after this year I go to my last year of school which is kinda scary not gonna lie.

I just got out of the shower so now I'm getting dressed, I decided to put on a white shirt that said 'I have not clue why I'm out of bed, ' I felt like it fit my mood right now. I paired it with black shorts and my white Jordans. I woke up around 5 to get ready since school starts at 8 and ends at 4. Honestly, I don't know why school starts so early. Like why would a teenager want to wake up that early? Hell some teens go to bed at that time cuz there on TikTok or playing games with there 'homies'.

"ARIA.. ARE YOU UP?" My mother screams at me from downstairs

"YES MAMA" I yell back at her so she can hear me.

After that I hear noth-

"ARIA WAKE UPP" She yells again

"MOM I'M UP" I yell again

Nothing....

"ARIA IF YOU DON'T GET UP RIGHT NOW-

"MOM  I'M UP" I scream while I open my door so she could hear me better

"OK" she yells to me

Ugh.. I swear, they can never hear you when you yell at the top of your lungs but can hear when you mutter something under your breath.

I run down the stairs cuz let's be honest.. who walks downstairs?? I turn to go to the kitchen and am met with the smell of bacon, eggs, and sausage. My mom is the best at making food. She's always been good at it. I'm honestly surprised she didn't become a chef. Instead she became a lawyer which is good. But like her food is amazing.

I quickly eat tell mama bye and hop into my car. Not literally!

I turn on my car and back out of the driveway.

I stop by Starbucks and get the pink drink, I usually get the Vanilla Bean Frappuccino but I decided to change it up a little.

20 minutes later I find myself standing in front of Lakewood high school. It's huge.

I'm definitely getting lost in here. I think to myself. I huff and walk into the school, lucky, the office is next to the entrance so I make my way inside the office to get my schedule for the year. God, this is scary and different. My old school was small, this looks like a collage not a high school.

"Hi, I'm Aria Gwyneth I'm looking for my schedule." I say kindly to the old lady behind the counter.

She nods and looks through a folder I'm guessing that folder is information about me. Ugh, I hate when people have things about me because then they think they know me. Lol, they don't.

" Here you go " she says and hands me the paper.

I thank her and walk out looking at my schedule.

3. English
4. Gym
5. Free period
6. Math
7. Lunch
8. Math

Okay, why the fuck do I have Math twice? I hate Math probably because I suck at it.. but like who doesn't? Math is the worst subject like why do you want me to solve a triangle? Look at the damn thing and boom, you just know it's a triangle. It has three points and three sides. Ta duh! School is stupid to me. We waist half our live here. What's worse is they say they care about us like bitch don't lie the only reason your here is for money.

With that being said, I make my way to first period turns out, I'm 15 minutes late.. awesome.

I hurriedly rush down the hallway up the stairs and down another hallway before I stand Infront of my science class room 217.

I open the door and am met with an entire class staring at me. Along with a  decent looking young teacher I'm guessing. Looks about 26. So mid 20s.

"Hi, I'm sorry I was late.. uh.. I'm Aria Gwyneth." I say not really knowing what to say in a situation like this because I've never been late before.

"I'm Mrs. Smith, please take a sit in the back next to Mr Carter."

Huh? Mr Carter who.. ugh, never mind. I've already got a headache. Definitely picked the right shirt today.

I make my way all the way in the back it's not hard to find where she said to sit considering there's only one seat in the back open and it's also the only table in the back back. Guess he doesn't like to be near people. Ha, like me.

It's not that I hate people, there just so obnoxious and loud and annoying most the time. That's why I don't exactly go to party's because of the noise. I know, I'm basic but at least I'm not one of these hoes that get naked for some guy and still end up single.

I sit next to Carter. I know that's his last name but I don't know his first so that's what imma call him until I know his first.

He continues to stare at his phone not even paying attention to the teacher. God, are all popular guys like this?

He's attractive I'll tell you that, jaw line that could cut you, pretty light blue eyes that I could get lost in forever and beautiful hair. I don't know what it is with me in hair but it's just so attractive especially if it's fluffy or a wavy/curly fluffy. I'm sorry, I don't know what's wrong with me.. probably everything but that's besides the point. (😂)

I guess I was staring to long since I heard him clear his throat.

"Are you done checking me out?" He looks at me annoyed

"I-  I wasn't."

"Mhmm" he hums

"I wasn't" I say under my breath knowing damn well I was.

Ethan

This new girl has been checking me out for like 10 minutes without even realizing. I hate when people stare at me, most people like the attention but me.. I don't I actually hate it. People annoy me. I know I'm attractive, it's not a secret but sometimes it's just annoying.

Back to the girl, she pretty. Long dark brown hair and brown eyes. She has darker skin kinda like Carmel. But she's beautiful, her eyes is what cought my attention, when the light hits them it's like I'm looking into a forest. Like she hides a lot of things.

"Are you done checking me out?" I ask her a little annoyed.

She quickly fix's herself acting like she has no idea what I'm talking about

"I- I wasn't" she says stuttering at the beginning. Probably because I cought her off guard.

"Mhm" I hum knowing I'm right

She huffs and mutters "I wasn't" making me chuckle a little bit. She's cute.

"What's your name?" She asks me

"Ethan" I say still looking at my phone. It's been about 30 minutes since the last time we talked. She's been taking notes while I stay on my phone talking to the boys in the group chat. It consists of Jake, Josh, Aiden and I.

" I'm Aria." She says

I nod still not paying attention to her.

After class

" Hey Ethan wanna hang out after school? " Jennifer asks me as I'm about to get up. She's been obsessed with me since I got here which was 3 years ago. Girl can't take a hint. I fucked her a couple times but it didn't mean anything.. to me at least.

I sigh and say sure. Mm.. I could just not show up, but it depends on the boys, if they get on my nerves I'm definitely going with Jennifer.

" Is that your girlfriend? Shes... pretty.. ish I guess. " I hear Aria behind me say whispering the last part to herself.

I look at her amused. Most people think Jennifer is pretty. Guess Ari doesn't thinks so. Me personally, I think Ari is prettier than Jennifer.

Do I already have a nickname for Aria? Yes.. yes I do.

"No, Jennifer isn't my girlfriend.. no matter how much she wishes she was" I mutter that last part which she hears cuz she giggles which is the most beautiful sounds I've ever heard.

"Okay good.. because you could do better. No offense to her but her makeup makes up 99% of her face" Ari says

I raise my eyebrows and laugh.. like actually laugh. I've never laughed infront of anyone before. Not even because I don't like my laugh, people are just never funny there more stupid than anything.

I smile at her and nod. With that I get up and walk out. I can already tell she's gonna be different than the other girls here. Beautiful and knows how to stand up for herself. She'll be fine here and if not. I'll be there. Once the boys meet her I'm sure they'll be there for her too. If not, there fucking crazy.

I walk out of the school because I am not going to second period, fuck that shit. History sucks.
