Ace's POV
I can't believe she pranked us.
"Ace, can I borrow a pair of shorts?" Jaxon asks.
I turn around and he is standing in his boxers. His shorts are still stuck to the drummer seat. "Yeah, sure."
I need to get her back. I have to admit, she got us good. But we can do so much better.
"What are you thinking about?" Jaxon asks.
"How to prank that girl back."
"You know she has a name, right?"
"Well, yeah. She never told me though."
"She goes to school with us you should know. Plus she wrote it on the garage door."
"What?"
"Look for yourself," he says and pulls the door down.
I'M SOPHIE. DON'T FORGET is spray painted on with hot pink paint.
"Ugh! My mom will not be happy if she sees this. We have to paint over it." I say and go inside. Jaxon follows me as I walk into the kitchen.
"Morning boys!" My mom smiles.
"Morning mom. Is it okay if I borrow your car to go to the store real quick?" I say to her.
"Yeah. Here's the keys."
"Thanks. Bye mom!" I say and Jaxon waves to her and follows me. We climb inside my mom's Lexus and hurry to the store.
"How are we gonna get Sophie back?" Jaxon questions.
"I don't know, but it needs to be way better than her prank."
I am really surprised she even pranked us. She only talked to us well, at least me, yesterday and within hours she was pranking us. I don't know any girls like that.
What am I even thinking? I'm a guy. How am I supposed to know what girls are like?
But she seems different from other girls. Most girls are usually begging for me to talk to them, date them, or listen to my band practices. She didn't want to do any of those things. Actually, she wanted the exact opposite.
"You seem out of it," Jaxon states.
"What do you mean?"
"Well for one you are clutching the steering wheel like it is your worst enemy and your trying to kill him or her."
I glance down and my knuckles are white as snow. I loosen my grip and turn the radio on.
"Do you know what songs we are going to start practicing?"
"No. Do you have any in mind?"
"No... but I had an idea in mind."
"What would that be?"
"Why don't we ask someone, a girl maybe, what songs to do?"
"You can do that if you want to, but I'm not doing it."
》THE BAD BOY'S BAND《
Walking into my house, I find my mom waiting on me.
"What happened to the garage?"
"Uh.."
"Did you do that?" She asks furiously.
"No!"
"Well, what happened Ace?"
"The girl next door pranked me," I mutter.
"What?"
"The girl next door pranked me," I sigh.
"She pranked you?"
"Yeah," I mumble.
My mom literally bursts out laughing and slaps her knee. "Oh my! I like this girl!"
"Mom!"
"What? It's funny," she smiles.
"I'm going in the garage."
"Okay, honey."
I wish I didn't have to paint. I could be doing more important things. Like... um... well, walking my dog. Yeah, he really needs to get out of the house.
An hour later, I finally finish painting the door and there is no sign of having pink spray paint on it.
I go upstairs into my room and change into a grey sleeveless shirt with the sides cut out, red basketball shorts, and Nike hightops. I go back downstairs and to the back yard.
"Max! Come here, boy!" I shout and within seconds he comes running up to me. I put him on a leash and leave mom a note telling her I was going for a run and took Max with me.
》THE BAD BOY'S BAND《
It is currently three in the morning and I am so tired, but I'll get to sleep soon. I just have to set the prank up and then I can sleep until whatever time I want.
I grab the bubble wrap and red Kool aid. Then walk out onto my small balcony. I climb over onto her balcony. I open her door and walk in.
She didn't even lock it. That's crazy. I would be scared not to lock my door. Weirdos could just walk in any time they wanted to.
I look over to see her peacefully sleeping. I go into her bathroom and close the door behind me. I flip the light on and get to work. I put red Kool aid in her shampoo bottle and in the shower head. Then I put bubble wrap underneath the two rugs in her bathroom. I take out a marker and write on her mirror. I walk out of her bathroom and open the door to her balcony. I lock the it and shut it behind me.
I hope she likes her soon to be red hair. Bring it on, Sophie. This is just the beginning.
I change into pajama pants and jump into bed. Max jumps on my bed too and lays on the bottom of it.
"Good night, Max," I whisper. He barks in response.
