We had made arrangements for Brody to move into our dorm with us, and he can share my room with me.

I hadn't had my 'time of the month' in a month, so I got a pregnancy test.

Maddy, Melody, and Ella were all waiting outside of the bathroom door.

I didn't want Brody to know anything until I came out positive.

I sat there impatiently waiting for the one of the two biggest words I'll ever read, either positive or negative.

Finally, the answer showed, and I nearly dropped the test.

I sat in the corner and started sobbing, whether it was from excitement or fear, I don't know.

The bathroom door opened and the three girls entered, taking their seats around me on the floor.

"Did you come out positive?" Ella asked, and I nodded.

"Do you want me to get Brody?" Maddy asked, and I nodded once more.

The girls got up and left, and I wiped away my tears with the back of my hand.

Brody entered the bathroom looking concerned.

He sat down beside me and pulled me close to him, resting his chin on my head.

"What's wrong?" He asked me, pulling away and looking into my eyes.

"I'm p-pregnant." I stammered, and his eyes widened.

My breath hitched in my throat.

Is he going to leave me like dad left mom? No, Brody isn't like that, is he?

"We're going to be the best parents there are." He finally said, grinning.

A relieved smile was painted on my face and I wrapped my arms around Brody, holding him close to me, and he did the same.

The doctor was showing us pur baby on the screen.

It looked like a human, now that I was eight months pregnant.

Brody was holding my hand, squeezing it for support, for which one of us? I'm honestly not sure.

He bent down and placed a quick kiss on my stomach.

"I love you." He mumbled to our unborn baby.
