Early update!~ Are you happy? I hope you are :)
♦♦♥April♥♦♦
Jinx is a very interesting phenomena, I didn't believe it before, well not until I was ten but as I grew up I realized that jinx is real, the phenomena is real.
Today especially, I strongly feel that I've been getting targeted by this jinx named phenomena.
Just when I thought about how beautiful my day was going to be, as I consider spending time with myself really important and amazing thing, I got disturbed by the unexpected but smoking hot stranger who was soon to be my student in biology.
I guess, now I know how jinx works, practically That is.
"What are you doing here?" I strictly refused to move even an inch away from the door. His tall and dark figure stands right in front of me and for me it is like staring at a mountain or something.
The guy is skyrocketed.
"Don't tell me you can't figure it out just by looking at me, Hazel."
Why call me Hazel when I have a name?
"You seriously think I would teach you, like right now?" I shoot back at him making a scowl to appear on his face. "What do you mean by that Missy? You have to." His eyes burn in mine as if he's trying to terrorize me. His jet black eyes are scary enough though.
"I will not. We'll do it at school. Sorry but I won't allow you to study in my house." I curtly say. His jaw clenches to the extent that I can clearly see the structure of his jaw and the way his teeth line his mouth, well I shouldn't be noticing this things right?
"Look, don't you dare to mess with me Missy." He growled in low voice, his eyes never leaving me. I gulped down a big ball stuck in my dry throat. Maybe I should shut the door now, before something happens to me.
"What's going on?" Austin emerges from behind and stands next to me swinging his left hand over my shoulder protectively.
Thank you brother.
I glance at him and smile thankfully. But soon my smile vanishes as I remember about Austin's reaction when he heard this black guy's name.
"Austin?" Christian asks bewildered, oh my is he afraid of my brother or something?
"April go to your room." Austin calmly States. "But I-"
"April. Go." His eyes fix on me as if they say do as I say and I nod. I quietly leave those two alone even though I hate to do it. I don't want anything to happen to Austin but knowing him, and his extra karate classes he should be fine.

I plop down on my bed and open my laptop. It's Saturday and for a girl like me what can be more exciting than surfing my Facebook account right?
Yay.
When I'm checking my news feed I narrow my eyes at a particular name and a familiar face. His jet black blood shot eyes seem familiar to me now, how creepy. I click on his profile and scroll through his posts like a stalker girlfriend but the guy is a mystery and I'm Sherlock Holmes so yeah.
Each and every post is either his photos with his bike or with his gang. What am I even doing checking his Facebook page? I shake my head and about to close his timeline when something catches my eye. It's a beach photo where he is standing with a girl, a pretty looking girl if I may add. It's the only photo where...
He's smiling.
I stare at his smile for a while, his smile isn't fake, it's coming from bottom of his heart, his black hair are tousled in devilishly manner which could make any girl squeal 'oh my God' in a heartbeat. His eyes, his jet black eyes hold such a happy feeling.
It's a different Christian all together.
Then for some weird reason my heart sink in deep when I realize she must be his girlfriend. I don't have to feel anything about it. I shouldn't even checking his profile like this. God, help me.
My phone vibrates beneath me bringing me back from world of thoughts. I quickly unlock it realizing it's a text.
Lee : hey girl :) how are you? Feeling any better?
My mouth forms 'O' when I remember I was supposed to be resting for a day. Not stalking some hot bad boy and thinking about stupid things.
Me : Bored :(
Lee : I'm coming over then :)
Me : Yippee
I throw the phone on the bed along with my laptop and run downstairs. Kitchen is dreadfully silent as I step in. I find a sticky note on the fridge left by Austin which says 'I'll be back in two hours or so. Be a good girl and don't eat like an elephant. Leave something for me as well. Take care Ap :)'
I roll my eyes but a smile settles on my lips. He knows me too well. I already smell delicious lasagna and chocolate cookies in the kitchen and I drool over them for few moments.
"You look like my hungry Tommy Ap." a thick voice startle me waking me up from drool session, how pretty I must have looked.
"Gracie? How are you feeling now? You're awake already?" I try to cover the fact that I totally forgot about her and was going to enjoy lasagna all by myself.
"I've been sleeping for like half a day Ap." She suspiciously looks at me and the plate in my hand. "You forgot about me, don't you?" I gulp.
This people remember is the disadvantage of living in the same house for six to eight months. When you live with someone for such a long time you get used to each other's gestures, habits, a change in tone of voice, nonexistent lying ability...
"Of course not Grace! I was about to bring that," I point at the warm lasagna sprinkled with cheddar cheese, "to your room." I complete smiling as wide as I could stretch my lips.
"Yeah right." Gracie said letting out a short laugh. Obviously she doesn't believe me.
"Oh my God.... This tests like heaven!" Gracie chews down some more lasagna before stuffing her mouth with three chocolate cookies, and then gulps down a whole bottle of soda because all the crunchy cookies and cheesy lasagna makes it difficult for her to breathe.
How ladylike
"Grace...stop stuffing yourself with so much food it's not running away, you can eat it slowly." I say taking a bite of my chocolate cookie.
"Come on! I don't get to eat delicious food everyday!" She grins at me wiggling her eyebrows.
Oh.
She didn't just go there.
"Grac-"
"Yeah yeah I know you also manage to cook like a five star hotel's chef. But it's only when you're in mood Ap." She says in flat voice. "So who made this stuff? I can bet you are not playing the chef today." She demands fixating her icy gray eyes at me.
"Austin did."
She stays silent for a while nodding to herself and suddenly realization hits her.
"Austin! You mean your brother Austin??!!" She shouts out like a fangirl, her eyes becomes as big as soucers.
"Do you think I know anybody called Austin except my brother?" I nonchalantly reply. What is so excited about my brother? Well he's the golden boy of the town and all ....
"He's back! Oh my gosh!" She squeals and sighs dreamily the way I sigh when I watch Tom cruise movies.
"Are you fangirling my brother?" I awkwardly ask.
I mean my brother did have some girlfriends back when he was in high school but for Gracie being his...
No. Not even imaginable.
"Wait you have James by your side!" I said pointing my index finger accusingly at her.
"He's just a friend clueless Ap." She rolls her eyes and continues chewing on her food.
"What?" I mean yeah James did say earlier that they were just friends...
"I'm just curious about Austin, not fangirling him, okay?" She cocks her left eyebrow at me waiting for confirmation.
"The way you squealed was out of curiosity?" I ask her highly doubting that she was either lying or she was hiding her feelings like a pro.
"Yeah."
Like I would believe that.
"Look Grac-"
"Hello Ladies." Gritting my teeth I look at a very happy Jayson.
"Can't you press the doorbell Jayson?" I'm annoyed now. He's always appearing without any short notice and as he has the spare key he just walks in like it's his second home.
"Why should I? When I have this baby?" He glances at the swinging keychain on his index finger.
"What are you doing here?" I don't recall inviting him to join me for lunch.
"Hey don't be cranky Ap. I was only going to drop Leah, but then I thought I would check on you as well, I remembered how bad your face looked last night, so I abandoned my precious Saturday for you but look how rude you're being!" He rants like a middle age irritating women on her period.
"Okay Okay I got it." I am actually not feeling sick at all now so I'm not considering myself a patient anymore.
"Hey Gracie."
"Hey Jayson."
I look between them as they greet wondering why they are always so awkward with each other.
"April!!!!" We all whip our heads at the roaring voice, it is followed by a girl wearing her hoodie and knitted tights. She removes the top of her hoodie revealing her messy blonde hair which look like they've been caressed by fingers for a long time.
"Hey gal." I get to give her a hug, which turns out to be a tight hug where Leah is having fun and I'm suffocating from lack of oxygen.
"I missed you!" She exclaims.
"But you met her like yesterday?" Jayson butts in.
"Sorry to say Jay Jay, she loves me more." I wink at him teasing him.
"Really babe?" He eyes his girlfriend suspiciously while Leah is snickering.
"Let's not go there babe." She manages to compose herself and that's when she noticed Gracie sitting among us.
I think it is wrong but we somehow make people feel like an outcast when three of us are together.
One of the bestie things.
"Grace! Hi!"
"Hey Lee."
They talk for a while catching up on things while I glance at Jayson who is looking more and more homeless after Leah flipped off the who she loves more topic leaving it hanging.
"Jayson? Why don't you watch a movie by yourself today? I'll tell you where Austin's special stock is." He nods at me smiling.
"Wait Austin's special stock??" He is really a dummy.
"Right late current." I roll my eyes.
"It's in the second drawer," I point at the bottom of TV table," right there, now if you fail to find it you might consider checking your eyes in a good clinic, okay?"
He mumbles yes and I make myself back in the kitchen.
Gracie and Leah are still talking, they look like they're gossiping about something or someone I guess.
"What are you guys talking about?" I ask butting in their conversation.
"About the hot neighbor you never mentioned to me." Gracie pouted at me angrily.
Why oh god why don't they have anything better to talk about?
"Grace I've just met him and he's a jerk." I firmly say, I don't want her to fantasize about him as well.
"You just have met him then how can you say that he's a jerk?" Gracie's persistent nature is something she should really try to change.
It's being a pain in ass.
"Would you just let it go? When I say he's a jerk, then he is. I'm older than you." I state in confidence.
"Okay." Gracie stretches the word a bit longer than necessary.
"Lee, won't you back me up?" I look disgustedly at Lee who is eating lasagna with her lips covered in thin lines of cheese and yuck that's just gross.
"I shink he ish badsh." She mumbles.
Gee thanks Leah.
After finishing my brother's cooking we head over to the living room where we find Jayson lying on the sofa unfashionably and his mouth is half open and eyes tightly closed.
How mature.
"Look at him, your lovesick puppy Leah." I comment and Leah laughs out when she take a clear look at him.
"Let's capture this moment." Gracie clicks his picture and by the time we stop the movie Jayson was watching and play another one she's done with the uploading of the photo on his Facebook wall.
"He's going to have fun checking out his Facebook when he wakes up." She giggles as she plops down in between me and Leah.
We watch the movie in silence, it's a Sherlock Holmes movie, one of my favorite and even after watching it for hundred times I am still intently looking at the screen.
♫There's only one thing to do three words for you- I press the green button flashing on my phone annoyingly and when I read Charlotte on the screen I get myself out of the living room but not before pausing the movie.
"Ap!"
Leah and Gracie groan but I ignore them.
No one watches Sherlock Holmes movie in my house without me.
"Hey Char, what's up?" I get an shrill shriek from the other side and my eyebrows join you in confusion.
"Char?"
"I've got a big news babe!"
"What big news? Did the amazing IT couple of our school was caught banging in the gym's locker room again?, I know they are always there." I ask not at all surprised, this is regular for Char, she randomly calls not looking at the clock to tell me how amazing her news is.
She will grow up to be a fine news reporter, for sure.
"No! It's about Mr.Sexy!" Now who is that?
"Who is that?" I voice my words and she fake gasps.
"Mr. Black guy you nincompoop!" I narrow my eyes.
I don't deserve to be called nincompoop because I couldn't figure out who Mr. Sexy was, not when it was just him!
"What about him?" I try to hide curiosity in my tone or else Char the matchmaker may get weird ideas.
"I heard that he was expelled!" I wonder if that is something to squeal about.
"Expelled? But then what is he doing in the school?" I keep my voice down, I don't want Gracie to find out I'm talking about a guy.
"I'll tell you the details later but isn't it exciting?!" I face palm myself. "Char, it's not exciting, he's bad news and I am suppose to tutor him, do you understand how bad this situation is?" She has cut the line before I know it.
"Char!" I growl at no one as she has decided to end the call.
How mean.
"So, who's Mr. Sexy?" Chills run down my body as I hear Gracie whispering behind me.
"Grace? Oh god." I murmur feeling defeated.
I can't believe she heard Char from all over the other side, I never even said Mr. Sexy and still she found out.
This, people, is when all of my luck runs out.
