Chapter 32: Stars

HI.

👻Jayden's P.O.V

I couldn't help but bite my lip, taking in the way her hips sensually swayed to the beat of the music.

The bodysuit that she wore hugged every delicious curves and bumps in her body. She had her eyes close while dancing, completely oblivious to every fucker in the room who were staring at her like a piece of meat.

It makes me want to pull out the gun from my jeans and shoot every one of them. Damn it.

"I can feel your turmoil Jay. Just go after the fucking girl, it's obvious she's teasing you." Hayden said, taking a sip of his beer.

I took a long drag from my cigarette before throwing it on the ground and pressed my shoe on it.

I gave a pat to my twin before going into the dance floor. A few girls tried to dance with me but I ignored them, only focused on one girl.

My bambi.

I placed a hand on her hip, turning her around to face me. I was greeted by her brown eyes and just like that, I was captivated by Ark's beauty.

"What? You done being an asshole?" She sassed, her eyes throwing daggers at me.

That broke me out of my trance.

"Yes," I pulled her close to me."Now, dance with me." I demanded, noticing she stopped dancing.

I didn't even know what I did to be called asshole but I'll let her call me whatever she wants as long as she's with me.

Ark's brown eyes turned into slits before she pushed me away harshly."Well, go find another dance partner because I don't want to dance with you." She said before storming off.

I sighed, I didn't even know why she's mad at me. One minute I was patiently waiting for her outside the bathroom and the next, she was storming off and cussing me in every language she knew.

I followed after her, bumping into a few drunken zombies. The dark sky and cold breeze greeted me.

I followed her until we were both on the streets, rows of cars lined up. Deciding that we were far enough, I easily caught up and blocked her from going further.

Ark huffed, crossing her arms across her chest. I couldn't help but be drawn to her chest which earned a loud cough from her.

"Excuse me, you don't deserve to gaze at my precious twins." She snapped, her brown eyes glaring at me.

"Why are you so angry at me Bambi? I didn't even do anything." I said, frustration evident in my voice.

Girls are like a fucking swing. One minute, you're feeling high and mighty with her then the next, she'd leave you hanging all alone.

"Didn't do anything? You told that girl that she was cute." She said, her lips in an adorable scowl.

My brows quirked together at what she said. Girl? What girl is she talking abo—wait. She can't be talking about the girl from earlier.

"You mean cat girl from earlier?" I asked, making sure that it was indeed her.

While I was waiting earlier in the bathroom, there was a girl who wore a cat costume that passed by me and told me that my outfit was cute.

"No, I was talking about cat boy. What the hell Jay? Of course it's fucking cat girl." Ark said, her voice raising in the end.

A frown marred my lips."I was just returning the compliment bambi. She told me my outfit was cute."

I felt completely lost. Why was she getting so worked up at this? I didn't even tell that girl that she was cute and the only reply that I gave her was likewise.

"Oh really? Then if I told you that you're an asshole then you're gonna throw that back to me?" Ark angrily asked.

"You didn't see me doing that earlier when you told me that." I replied, taking a step closer to her.

Ark threw her hand in frustration."That's not the po–You know what? We're done talking here." She tried to walk away from me but I took a hold of her arm and pulled her wiggling frame towards me.

"No, we're not done talking. Why are you getting so angry over this Bambi? Explain it to me because I don't get it." I told her, lacing my fingers together behind her back.

Ark tried to slip out of my hold but it was no use. I smirk inwardly when I saw her let out a defeated sigh.

"Fine, you told her that her outfit was cute when you did not even give mine a single compliment." She muttered, looking away from me.

I didn't know wether to facepalm at her words or smile at how adorable she looked right now.

Fuck, my heart's racing.

Ark isn't the type to shy away but sometimes, she has her moments where she'd get all clogged up with her words and look away.

"What's the first thing that I told you when you came up to me earlier?" I placed my hand on her chin, pulling her attention to me.

Breathtaking brown orbs peered shyly into my own,"Y-You told me I looked absolutely beautiful."

"That's true Bambi," I brought my hand up to gently caress her cheek."And I told you that from the bottom of my heart and not out of courtesy like I did to Cat girl."

Ark closed her eyes briefly before opening once more."Do you really mean that?" She mumbled, hesitation in her voice.

Looks like my little Bambi just needed reassurance that she's the only one for me.

"You are absolutely beautiful Ark and this guy right here is completely spellbound at you." I repeated, my gaze not leaving hers.

🍪Ellie's P.O.V

It's been two hours since we've arrived at the party and Alec still isn't here. I've been growing worried but the pack of skittles assured me that he was fine and he'll be here.

I tried texting him but he wasn't replying which kinda pissed me off. A little update isn't that much of a hassle.

Forget him and let's drink drink drink! Jessica chirped happily.

Todd and I were goofily dancing along to Tyga's song when an arm snaked around my waist and was pulled to a chest.

He saluted at the person behind me before disappearing through the crowd of people leaving us alone.

I wiggled out of the person's hold and turned around to be met by the familiar electrifying blue eyes of my favorite skittle.

"Guess who decided to grace us with his presence," I sarcastically drawled out, craning my neck slightly to meet his gaze.

He stared at me with an unreadable expression and I knew he was taking in my flushed cheeks, bright blue eyes, and scowling lips.

He sighed heavily."You broke your promise." He pointed out, taking a hold of my hand and pulling me away from the dancefloor and into a secluded corner.

"What? No I didn't. You told me to not accept drinks from anyone but it was Todd who offered and he's our friend." I explained, clumsily fixing the beanie on my head.

He glared at me, pushing my hands away and took the beanie off. I felt my hair being finger comb in a few areas before he placed it back.

Of course, only Alec would break the unspoken rule of wearing a costume. He settled for a white button down shirt that were a few buttons undone exposing his tanned and muscles chest, the sleeves were folded up until his elbows and hugged his biceps nicely.

He paired it with a ripped jeans and brown leather ankle boots. Alec's hair was messy and his eyes were regarding me with such intensity when he took in my costume.

I let out a surprised gasp when he suddenly wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me flushed against him.

I could feel the hard muscles of his and I practically held my breath when he pressed a soft kiss on my neck, his lips dragging upwards towards my ear in a slow manner that made me gulp.

"You look ravishing amore," He whispered before biting the shell of my ear gently. I was quite ticklish in that area and I pushed him away with a giggle.

"That tickled you son of a biscuits! Wait, don't distract me! Where have you been? I was growing worried," I frowned, my annoyance from earlier melting away.

He smirked, his electrifying eyes a shade darker than his usual ones."È piuttosto l'opposto biscotto and I was doing some business." He simply answered.

I didn't understand the first part and it was probably because of the music. I felt one of his hand gently draw odd shapes behind my lower back and it seemed that he was doing it unconsciously.

"Business? You dealt it alone?" I loudly asked, my face twisting with concern.

"Don't worry biscotto, it was just paperwork type of business. Now, let's go get some more alcohol." He said before pulling away from me and laced our fingers together.

I jumped slightly in excitement at the mention of Alcohol."Yes! Let's go! There's a bar in the kitchen." I said, pulling him in the direction.

He let me lead the way, his body angling slightly away from me and glaring at anyone who comes close within my radar.

Alec didn't waste a second and asked for a beer at the bartender. We took a seat on of the long chairs and waited patiently.

"What should I get?" I hummed, resting my arms on the countertop.

"That's enough alcohol for you biscotto," Alec said, nodding at the bartender who handed him his beer.

I let out a laugh, slapping his arm harshly."You're being ridiculous. If I want some alcohol then I'll get some." I said, turning to the bartender.

I wasn't exactly drunk yet, I had two tequila shots from earlier with Todd and the pack of skittles had made me try a shot of smirnoff vodka earlier which equals to three shots in total.

"Two tequila shots please!" I said, earning a defeated sigh from Alec.

"You aren't leaving my side for the rest of the night," He stated, leaning down to give me a peck on the cheek.

I shrugged."Fine by me but I gotta pee first. No, you stay here and guard my drink. I'll be back." I told him, placing a hand on his arm.

He met my stare with his electrifying ones."Five minutes. If you aren't back yet then I'm coming after you." He promised.

I nodded my head profusely before stopping immediately when I felt my head spin slightly.

Oops.

"Roger, be a good skittle and guard those shots okay? Don't want anyone messing my drink up." I teased cheekily, making him stare at the bartender with alertness.

I turned around and started walking away, making sure to add a little sway on my hips even though I wasn't sure if he was looking. I wasn't exactly the seductive type but hey, a little alcohol gives a good boost of confidence.

Todd told me earlier that the bathroom in the first floor was flooded with drunk girls and guys hence why he told me to use the bathroom in the second floor instead because it'll be less crowded.

It didn't take me long to get there, there was only a girl before me. We didn't talk to one another but she looked really sexy and pretty in her barbie costume.

My feet tapped impatiently, my pee feeling like it's gonna flow without my permission. The barbie girl just went in and I crossed my legs against another one to hold it in.

It seemed like forever but it was probably only seconds. I offered her a small smile when we passed by before going inside, locked the door and did my business.

Along my way back, I bumped into a girl who was dressed in a sexy nurse outfit and almost spilled her drink. Our eyes met, recognition entering my senses.

"Hi, I'm sorry for bumping into you!" I greeted her, my lips curving into a smile.

Annie beamed, her red lips showing off her pearly whites."It's nothing, cute outfit Ellie! Enjoying the party?" She said, her eyes taking in my outfit.

I pushed a strand of hair behind my ear, nodding my head."I am! It's my first time attending. How about you?"

"Really? I'm enjoying the party too. Considering it's your first time, here take this." She handed me her red cup.

I was fully aware of the tequila shot waiting at me but a little appetizer wouldn't hurt.

I glanced at the colorless liquid in it, gently swirling it."Thanks, I hope this isn't a strong one."

I really sure hope it's not because I don't want get drunk yet. Alec's gonna bust another nut when he sees me walking back like a penguin.

I can't let Alec see that side of me yet, well I don't exactly remember how I act when I'm drunk but Todd told me that I was a handful.

She waved her hand off,"Don't worry it isn't. You can handle it. Speaking off, where's the guys?"

I beamed."The twins are in the dance floor and  Todd's with them. V and Chase, I'm not really sure. Alec though is at the kitchen and waiting for me with my teq-Shit! The time limit!" My eyes widened, remembering the promise I made.

Annie was about to ask what I meant by that when I was already running off back towards the bar area.

I mumbled a few excuses along the way and thankfully, Alec was still there by the time I came back.

I raised a brow when I was met by Chase and Valentino who was talking with him. It seemed to be serious but their expressions turned into a beaming one they saw me approaching.

"What took you so long?" Alec asked, taking a sip of his beer.

"I bumped into Annie and we started talking. You know what happens when girls talk." I replied, taking a step back on surprise when Val took the red cup from me and took a sip.

"Ooooh! A G&T drink! Can I have it sweet chick? Pleaaaase?!" Valentino said, his eyes widening in a pleading stare.

An amused giggled slipped my lips. He looked completely adorable doing those puppy eyes."You can have it V, I have my tequila shots anyways."

I took my seat next to Alec, my face completely beaming when he handed me one of my shots and pushed the plate where two lime wedge were prepared.

Valentino was already downing the drink that I gave him in one go. Geez, this guys sure do know how to handle their alcohol.

I pushed some of my hair excitedly, turning to Alec who already had his eyes on me."I'm gonna show you how to drink tequila without any emotion." I said to him.

"You can do it amore." Alec nodded his head at me, placing his bottle of beer on the countertop.

With his encouragement, I licked the salt on the rim of the glass before downing the first shot like flash.

Alec guided the lime wedge towards my mouth and I kept my expression blank while I sucked on the lime, choosing to stare at Alec's darkened eyes to ignore the sourness.

I don't know why but it seems like the temperature bumped into another notch and I felt hot all of a sudden.

My cheeks flushed when he brushed his thumb after on my whole lower lip before bringing it to his mouth and sucked on the tip lightly.

"Hm, tastes sweet." He murmured, his eyes not straying from mine.

I couldn't help gape at his action. What was that? That was out of the world sexiness! Damn it, my hormones went a little cray cray.

I don't mind going cray cray as long as it's with him. Jessica exclaimed, my eyes widening slightly at the thought.

"Uh? Excuse me Sweet Chick? That drink you gave me is out of this world! I'm seeing stars!" V slurred, coming up from behind Alec.

I mentally thanked Valentino for the distraction. A minute longer and I would've probably started rambling.

"Stars? I'm pretty sure that isn't normal V." I told him, a frown slipping into my lips.

Valentino chuckled, taking a clumsy step towards me. Chase appeared next to V when he stumbled and almost fell down. My brows quirked against one another when I noticed Val's eyes were droopy and unfocused.

"You nuisance! Stop acting drunk and get a hold of yourself." Chase scolded, wrapping his arm around his waist when he leaned on him.

"What you talking about Chasey baby? I-I'm feeling sleepy and tired, goodnight guys."

My lips were in a gape, watching Valentino pass out. Chase grunted at his deadweight and took a hold of V's arm before placing it on his shoulder.

"What the hell? He didn't even drink that much of alcohol!" Chase grumbled, trying to pull V upright.

Alec sighed, glanced at his watch before standing up."Let it be, it's already midnight anyway. Let's go and bring him to your car."

Alec glanced at me before downing my tequila shot in one go. "We're going home after this biscotto. Walk in front of us, I'm gonna help Chase carry this idiot." He nodded his head at me.

I nodded quietly and walked in front of them. I couldn't help but grow worried for V. He wasn't that drunk earlier so how the hell could he pass out just like that?

Thankfully, we didn't have much trouble walking out of the large mansion since the crowd parted at the sight of the handsome trio.

A vast of darkness greeted us, the sky filled with stars and it seems like there wasn't any moon tonight.

Chase quickly helped Val into the backseat, making sure to put a seatbelt on him. Alec's phone rang in the dead night making me jump in surprise.

Alec glanced at the caller ID before he swiped answer, pressing the phone to his ear.  The caller seemed to be rambling before Alec exclaimed a 'What? Shit. Okay, We're on our way.' before ending the call.

"It was Hayden, He told me that a fight's about to start with Todd and some jocks. Jayden isn't there with him. He needs our help." Alec said, rubbing a hand on his face gently.

Chase sighed, closing the car door. "Trouble just follows us everywhere. Let's go then," He nodded to him.

Alec turned to me,"You stay here biscotto. Go sit with Val, We'll be back." He gave me a short peck on the forehead before hurriedly walking back inside the mansion with Chase.

I groaned, feeling completely worried. First V, now Todd and Hayden. Oh no, where's Ark and Jayden then? Are they together?

I quickly pulled my phone out of my bra and quickly type in a text to Ark asking her where she was and giving her a small update about what happened.

A cold breeze gently enveloped me, cooling my flushed skin. I let out a sigh and leaned against the car door with my eyes closed.

Seems like the night was ending in such a disaster. I hope Todd was okay and he wasn't hurt.

That stupid Tadpole, always finding himself with trouble. Why does he have to be such a ma— My soul temporarily jumped out of my body when a hand clamped on my shoulder.

I forced my eyes to open despite its hesitation and was met by Annie's face and immediately felt relief flooding in me.

Phew, I thought it was a ghost ha! I was doing my best to avoid scary images from popping up in my brain.

"Annie! You scared me, geez. I'm so sorry for running away earlier, its just tha—are you okay?" I asked, taking notice of how pale and sweaty she looked.

"E-Ellie," I felt my eyes widened when she weakly staggered towards me. Thankfully, I caught her before she could fall to the ground.

A frowned graced my lips when I felt something wet on my arm. I looked down, my eyes widening in surprise at the sight of blood.

She pulled away slightly, stumbling back. My eyes widened when I saw a knife embedded into her stomach, a growing red stain on her nurse costume.

The relief that I felt vanished and in exchange, panic and horror entered my system at the gruesome sight.

"W-what happened Annie?" I exclaimed, moving towards her to help but stopped when I saw her pull the knife out of her stomach.

The contents on my stomach threatened to spilled out when she suddenly coughed up blood. Shit. I'm growing light headed all of a sudden.

"Watch out Ellie because you're next," Annie announced before dropping the bloodied knife on the ground and passing out.
