CHAPTER 20: A Visit From Mother Nature

"Yes! I won the bet! Suck on that Chasey! You better pay up perdenti!"

"Damn, I didn't know he's hung like a freaking stag!"

"He's gonna wreck that flower hahahahahaha!"

"Sage! Cover your fucking eyes! Why are you looking at hi—"

"You're staring too!"

I let out a sleepy groan, the loud voices seemed to be resonating near the edge of the bed. My brows furrowing in annoyance.

I nestled my head more into the pillow and throw one of my leg on it. I couldn't help but hum at the warmth that I felt, fighting off the cold that nipped my skin.

This is a nice pillow, very warm and although hard; it is very comfortable. I'll ask my mom where she brought it, I hope I could get discounts.

"Don't you know how to fucking whisper?! We're dead if she wakes up!"

"Get your mouth away from my innocent ear V! Your spit is flying!" Another voice hissed.

The warm pillow started to move, it's muscles tensing against me. The pillow's arm that was wrapped around my waist pulled my body even closer and let out a deep groan.

Wait a minute.

Back the freaking peanuts up.

Pillow's Head. Pillow's muscular chest. Pillow's arm. ALEC KING'S ARM.

HOLEY MOLEY MACAROLEY!

I opened my eyes and jerked away from Alec's hold. In my surprised state, my feet pushed him out of the bed emitting a loud painful thud from him.

He mumbled a sleepy curse word before standing up sleepily with his eyes closed and turned his body to me, my inside going haywire.

"What the fuck is happen—" He didn't get a chance to finish because I let out a full blown scream.

My horrified eyes landed on his bare chest and on his morning wood. My screaming was cut off when Alec placed his hand on my mouth, muffling my scream.

I couldn't help but mentally agree at the stag statement earlier.

"Tone it down woman! My neighbors would think we're having morning sex from the way you're screaming. It's just a fucking boner," Alec grumbled, his morning voice was so deep and husky that it almost made me drool.

"Just a boner? Hello! It was near my freaking body!" I sputtered out, pulling the blanket and wrapping it around me with my head only visible.

"I don't know if I should be happy that you're practically making it obvious that you're a virgin or pissed that you ruined my sleep biscotto," He gruffly said, touching his bruised cheeks before wincing.

I blushed."Neither and at least I don't throw it away like other girls do!" I protested, tightening my hold on the blanket.

I felt my cheeks heat up even more when loud laughter bursted behind us. I turned around seeing Chase, Valentino, Ark, Sage, and Connor laughing like a bunch of hyenas.

"Who told you to wake us up? Get the fuck out." Alec barked off, glowering at them.

Their laughter immediately stopped and they all hung their head in embarrassment.

"It was Chase's fault Alec! We told him that it was a bad idea but he wouldn't listen!" Valentino cried out dramatically, pointing an accusing finger at Chase.

Chase had 'disbelief' sprawled all over his face before he pinched his arm, V gasping dramatically.

"How dare you thee deny it Chasey!" Valentino gasped out, holding the area where he was pinched.

We all know it wasn't Chase but it still didn't hide the humor in the situation. The rest of us bursted into laughter. Even Alec's glowering face was replaced with an amused one.

I discreetly glanced at his problem before standing up abruptly, looking away with my cheeks turning red.

What? I can't help it! You probably would've stared more blatantly if you were me.

I ignored their amused looks, making my way towards the other door and mentally praying that it was indeed a bathroom.

I let out a sigh of relief after closing the door, my back against it. I shook my head, my hands going up to touch my warm cheeks.

I can't believe I forgot about Alec sleeping next to me! After he passed out from my super punch, I had no choice but to lay him beside me.

Although I remembered making a pillow fort between us before sleeping, all those pillows were on the floor earlier.

Huh, I guess one of us broke the pillow fort.

I made my way to the mirror, mentally grimacing at what I looked. My hair wasn't that tangled but my face looked like a chipmunk, the only difference is only one cheek of mine is swollen.

Yeah and the fact that they saw me looking like this. Le sigh.

A small gauze was placed on the side of forehead and it seemed it was where I was bleeding from last night.

I stripped out of my clothes, my eyes widening when I noticed something.

"You just had to come visit me today!" I gritted out, gazing at the familiar red that stained my panties.

Fuck, I should've downloaded that period tracking app! I guess this is where my savage attitude is coming from lately and my urge to cry.

I was suddenly hit with dizziness, a wave of pain sprouting on my abdomen that had me slightly doubling over.

Yes, I'm one of those girls who suffer during their period now please shut up.

I made my way to the shower stall and decided to just do a half bath, this time I decided to use hot water to somehow sooth the pain of my sore muscles.

After the shower, I placed my ear on the door in hoping that either Ark or Sage was nearby

I called out their name loudly, hoping that either one of them had an emergency pad but was only greeted by silence.

I let out a loud groan, my face twisting in pain at the higher voltage of pain the erupted on my abdomen.

I don't exactly fancy the idea of using tampons because why would I stick that thing in my 'you know'?

Alec suddenly strolled in and I immediately closed the door, his footsteps became louder  as he grew closer before it stopped right outside the bathroom door.

"Now, What did I told you about screaming biscotto? They're all downstairs making breakfast." Alec scolded, knocking on the door a few times.

I banged my head on the door, letting out an annoyed groan. At all the times you could've visited me, you just had to choose the day where pads aren't exactly within my reach.

Thank you hormones, you've officially ruined my day.

"Cookie! I know you're sexually frustrated but now is not the right time to be doing something that you shouldn't!" Alec gasped out, knocking once more on the door.

"You annoying lump of a human! I'm having period cramps." I gritted out, placing a hand on the door and bending slightly.

A deafening silence in Alec's side.

"That is a huge problem."

"A problem that I'm gonna involve you in! Now please go get me some pads," I half snap-pleaded, wrapping my arms around my middle.

My period cramps was much worse than the average cramps that others have. I sadly got this from my mom and it isn't exactly thrilling that I have to suffer it times double than the average one.

I heard him rush out of the room but not before a loud thud resonated and a small 'ow' can be heard before the door banged closed.

I tightened the knot of the towel that was wrapped around me, I closed the toilet seat before sitting down on it.

I decided to wait here until he gets back, I don't exactly have any clothes on and I'm sure that I was in one of Valentino's guest room meaning there aren't any clothes I could get my hands too.

A small and hesitant knock suddenly resonated, my head snap to the door before wincing once again.

"H-Hi Blue." Todd's soft voice said from the other side.

At the sound of his voice, I couldn't help but bit my lip. After building the pillow fort, sleep didn't come easily to me.

My thoughts were plaguing my mind and there was a few times where I let some of my tears fall.

Just because they were doing it to protect me didn't mean it hurt less. I wasn't exactly mad at Todd, I was just hurt that he kept it from me and that he wasn't honest with me from the start.

"One thing I know in life Ellie is everything happens for a reason so there's reason why and who knows maybe you'll find out the reason why this is all happening."

"Just remember that I did it because I wanted to blue."

"Your my friend and I would rather see you cry and be here with you than lock yourself up in your room and cry alone with no one to comfort you."

"I'm sorry."

But was he really? From what I remember, there were a few times where he would say something deep and random and it didn't make sense until now.

"This is the only thing that I would ask you Todd," I started off, my voice loud and firm.

"W-what?"

"Do you promise to buy me some skittles to make up for it?" I ask, my voice firm but hopeful.

A big fat pause.

"I promise blue. I'd buy you one each day for the rest of our lives. I'm sorry Ellie. I know I haven't been honest with you from the start but everything that I did/said, genuinely came from the bottom of my heart." Todd let out a relieved sigh.

"I forgive you Todd, now get your ass to the kitchen and please cook me some soup!" I said, closing my eyes.

I wasn't the type of person to hold grudges, I hated it and I always do my best to see situations not only in my point of view but in the view of others too.

People makes bad decisions and choices but it doesn't mean they're a bad person. Sometimes, bad is a disguise that will lead to something good.

It led me here—to Alec explaining their truth and gladly accepting Todd's apology.

A loud bang made me jump in surprise, almost sliding out of the toilet seat. A series of knock resonated on the other side.

"Cookie? I got the pads! I didn't know there were so many kinds of pads so I took each one of them." He started off,"There's this one that has wings, there's also a non-wings and there's this one that says super dry—" Alec stopped mid ramble.

"You aren't dead right?" I couldn't help but giggle at his panicked voice, a series of knocks rapping at the door.

I stood up from my position, making my way towards the door before hiding behind it and opening a gap enough for my head to peek.

The Alec that greeted me almost made me laugh. His hair was a mess, a worried frown etched on his lips, and he was panting slightly.

"Calm your balls King, You ain't getting rid of me that easily," I teased, before my eyes dropped down to the three huge plastic bags beside his feet.

"What the hell? These are too much Alec." I gaped, taking a hold of it as he handed me each one.

He shrugged,"I wanted to make sure. Now, Go change and put a pad on. I can't have you staining the carpet." He pushed my face inside, took a hold of the knob and closed it.

I rolled my eyes but mentally thank the author above for not letting that happen.

"I don't have any clothes with me, please find me some!" I called out, before opening each plastic.

I felt my cheeks heat up and pulled back in surprise when I saw a set of cotton panties in assorted colors inside and it seemed that he got the right size: small.

He probably knew that my underwear was ruined. I didn't stain my shorts that bad but it was there, cutting of the possibility of wearing it again.

I bit my lip at his thoughtfulness but was cut off with grimace when the familiar stab greeted me. I quickly chose the green one and opened the napkin with wings in haste.

Alec went back a few minutes later with a black shirt that was obviously Alec's by its smell and size with some loose cotton short that I knew were mine and changed into it.

I opened the door, my eyes focused on trying to tie the shirt into a knot to make it somehow fit on me. The shirt was huge on me and one side of it was slipping off and showed my shoulder and ended a couple inches above my knee, covering my shorts.

"You look beautiful." I looked up, meeting the electrifying gaze of Alec who was sitting at the edge of the bed.

I rolled my eyes at his words, deciding to leave the shirt like that and made my way towards the bed. I plopped my body on the bed next to him, one of my feet dangling on the edge whilst the other bending upwards towards my stomach.

"That's a debatable statement but I'll believe you this one time." I grumbled, not in the mood for an argument.

I closed my eyes, letting out a swift sigh at the feeling of the soft mattress, crossing my arms and rested my head on it.

"Blue! I don't know how to make a soup so I made you oatmeal instead! Don't worry I searched it up and found out that it helps with period cramps. I added some cinnamon too and sliced bananas that helps too!" Todd walked into the room, holding a bowl full of oatmeal but stopped mid-way when he saw Alec on the bed.

They both looked at each other with an expression of a deer caught in headlights. Alec was the one who looked away and glared at him.

"What are you doing here?" They both asked at the same time.

Alec gave Todd a pointed look earning a defeated sigh from him. I couldn't help but watch their interaction with amusement.

It was clear that they hadn't made up yet and was forced to interact because of the circumstances.

"Obviously I brought her food." Todd's sarcasm can be heard from his voice, glancing pointedly at the bowl he was carrying.

"I brought her some pads and clothes." Alec answered, his expression devoid of any emotion.

Todd nodded approvingly,"Good, the least you could do is make it up to her." He said, glancing at me.

"Buy her the green pack of skittles; the sour ones. She loves those stuff." Alec sighed, standing up and making his way towards him.

My brows rose up at this, surprised that he knew about my make-up request to Todd. At his words, Todd grinned before handing him the bowl and turning to me.

"Make sure you finish it blue, my heart would break into tiny pieces if you don't." He winked playfully, before walking out of the room.

I couldn't stop the half-smile that graced my lips at his words. I turned to glance at Alec and frowned when I saw the scowl was on his face.

"He gave you a nickname." Alec stated, making his way towards me.

"Just like you guys did." I shot back, closing my eyes and getting comfortable

I let out a groan when my cramps came back even more painful. I pushed my head unto my arms harder and bit my lip.

Alec pushed my feet lightly, making me open my eyes. The sound of something rustling met my ears.

"I bought some medicine for your cramps. Eat this oatmeal first. It's not good when you drink medicine with an empty stomach." Alec demanded.

I groaned,"Fine, give me the bowl." I agreed, forcing myself to sit up.

"Lean on the headboard, you're prone to back pain too. Don't worry, I'll feed you." Alec said, helping me sit up properly and placed a pillow  between my back and the headboard.

I raised my brows, surprised that he knew that.
Only my mom and dad knew these, When I have my period, I suffer a back ache too which is the reason why I sleep on my side. My boobs get sore too hence why I don't wear a bra.

Thankfully, Alec's shirt was thick enough to not make it obvious.

"I can feed myself. It's just a period cramp." I disagreed, crossing my arms against my chest.

He glared at me,"A fucking period cramp that's making you suffer. Shut up and open your mouth." Alec scowled, taking a spoonful of the oats and bringing it near my mouth.

I opened my mouth in defeat, letting him feed me. I was expecting the oats to be bland but was surprised that it tastes quite yummy.

Looks like Todd's searching skills paid off.

Alec patiently feed me the whole time, stopping a few times to push a strand of my hair away from my face.

After I was done eating, Alec handed me the medicine and water. I closed my eyes, still leaning on the headboard.

Alec went downstairs to wash the bowl and get some more water. A few minutes passed and I felt the medicine starting to kick in making me drowsy and even more sleepy.

I was half-asleep and laying comfortably on the bed by the time he came back and was surprised when I felt something was placed on my stomach.

"Thank you but I'm still mad at you." I mumbled sleepily, hand touching the area where he placed the heating pad on.

Alec chuckled."I got all the time to make it up
to you cookie. Sleep well, I'll be here when you wake up." He softly said, leaning in to press a kiss on my forehead.

"You better." I mumbled, closing my eyes and succumbing to the darkness that awaits me.
