🍪Ellie's P.O.V

I was woken up by someone randomly poking me on the cheek. I let out a sleepy groan, pushing the hands away absentmindedly.

I let out a yawn and tumbled out of the bed with my eyes closed. I did a little stretch and let out a started scream when I met a pair of amused stormy grey eyes.

"Why are you in my room?!" I exclaimed, pulling the blankets hastily to cover my bra-less chest.

Just because I wasn't gifted with an average size tatas doesn't mean my nips didn't have the capacity to say hello in the cold morning.

I felt my cheeks heat up when Todd raked his eyes over my oversized shirt with the cookie monster print on it, my short shorts underneath that left my legs quite exposed.

Todd chuckled."Oh, you know, I just wanted to see how you looked like when you're sleeping," He joked, ducking to avoid the pillow that I threw at him.

Todd looked handsome despite only wearing black sweats, a white tank top, and a grey beanie on his curly locks. It was casual but had a nice punch to it, hah, get it?

"How did you get in? Who let you in?" I demanded, throwing daggers at him.

Todd rolled his eyes,"I went through the door Ellie, I can't do those climbing through the window shit. Your mom let me in aaaand we're gonna skip school today," He chirped, waggling his brows in enthusiasm.

It's too early for my brain to work!

"My mom's gonna kill me if she finds out about that." I snorted, letting out a large yawn.

"Actually, I asked her about it and she already said yes," Todd trailed off, a smug tone in his voice.

"You what?!" I screeched, my eyes widening in horror."Why the hell would you actually tell her that?!" I asked, throwing another pillow at him.

"Well, I kinda met your dad on his way out with your mom. He asked me what my intentions were with you and I couldn't just lie considering he was holding his police gun threateningly!" He defended, dodging the pillow.

I pinched the bridge of my nose,"It's too fucking early for this, get out and wait downstairs." I demanded.

"Yeah, good morning to you too sleeping beauty," Todd beamed, walking out of the room with a cheshire grin.

"The mall? What are we doing here?" I asked, eyeing the entrance of the mall before glancing at him.

1 hour later and both of us were making our way inside the mall. I was forced to wear ripped jean shorts, a an oversized sweater, with my vans.

Todd made me change into these when I went down wearing my comfort clothes and had a thirty minute argument with him but I kinda lost the battle when my mom gave me her signature 'Ellie just do it' look.

"What every teenagers do in the mall when they skip Ellie, we gonna shop lift." Todd naughtily smirk, earning a wide eye from me.

"What?" I stepped back, earning an eye roll from him.

"I was joking Ellie," Todd deadpanned, earning a huge sigh of relief from me.

"Operation turning you into a more than average looking woman has commenced!" Todd revealed, his eyes twinkling.

"I should have known," I groaned out, completely forgetting the agreement Todd and I had last night.

"Hmm, Let's start off with your wardrobe. You know, you're the only girl that I saw had a wardrobe mostly consist of leggings, sweatpants, and loose shirts. That needs to change, haven't you heard the quote dress to impress?" He rambled, eyeing a random store before pulling me to a forever 21 store.

"What's wrong with wearing comfy clothes?" I scoffed, eyeing the crop-top he handed me.

It was a cute off-the-shoulder top, my fingers gently rubbing against the soft fabric. I paused, thinking if it would suit me.

I tried to imagine myself wearing it before sighing and placing it back to the rack. Yeah, nope.

"There's nothing wrong with it. In my opinion, clothes is something that boosts our confidence too. What you wear is something that gives people an idea on what you are as a person. I'm not like, referring to the designer brands or anything but rather the type of clothes you wear." He explained, eyeing a lavender top before handing it to me.

I nodded thoughtfully, his words sinking in deep.

"This will look good on you," Todd said, handing another top."Oh, don't bother looking at the tags. It'll be charged into this baby," He continued, taking out a sleek and shiny credit card.

"Absolutely not," I disagreed, a frown gracing my features.

He groaned."You see Ellie, there's a book that we all boys have. It's called 'never let a girl do' and it is stated in page 1: rule number 1 to never and I mean never let a girl pay for her things," He said, a stern expression on his face.

"Well that rule is against my independent nature. I don't like people paying for my things." I grumbled, crossing my arms across my chest.

"Good thing I'm not a people then. I'm your friend," He replied cheekily, handing me a pair of jeans.

"Fine but I'm paying for our food today and buy you food for a week." I sighed, realizing that Todd is one persistent fvcker.

"Deal," He grinned, a twinkle in his stormy grey eyes. I nodded quietly, already feeling tired and we haven't even done anything yet.

I muttered a string of curses, my feet aching for standing straight for three hours. I tried to take a few shopping bags from Todd but he said that it was against his 'never let a girl' book and so, I just let him.

I had tons of new tees, crop tops, high waisted jeans, shorts, trousers, and even some skirts. Todd dragged me to every store and made sure to buy me a single item before leaving the store.

I couldn't help but feel guilty but he assured me the whole time that it was absolutely okay and it was just money.

"Please tell me we're done now," I pleaded, forcing my sore feet to walk along a beaming Todd.

For such a guy, he sure loves to shop. He even gave me a few outfit ideas and what type of clothes goes good along with.

"Far from it but considering you're looking at me like that. Let's take a break and feed that hungry monsters of yours," He chuckled, gesturing for me to follow inside the McDonald's.

I quietly followed behind him, glancing at a group of teens that were eyeing Todd with a dreamy look.

Despite carrying tons of shopping bags, he somehow still pulled it off and there were times were I got distracted by his muscles flexing.

yep, flexing muscles are my weaknesses.

"They're staring at you." I whispered, nodding my head to where the girls were seated at.

"I'm not even surprised. Who could resist these babies?" He said, giving me a sly smirk and flexed his biceps lightly.

"Pull your head out of your ego. You're next," I answered, giving the cashier a polite smile.

He ordered an oreo mcflurry, a crispy chicken sandwich, and a large fries while I ordered a spicy one-piece chicken with two rice and caramel sundae.

The guy told us the total and I quickly took my money but it seemed that Todd was prepared and had already handed his money to cashier.

I gave him a glare, my lips pulling into a scowl. Todd gave me a sheepish look and before he could take the tray, I took it and started to head towards an empty table at the far corner.

"You're giving me the silent treatment," Todd stated, dipping his fries on his flurry.

I kept quiet, taking my phone out and instead, checked my messages but sadly, there was nothing to even check.

My social media was drier than Sahara desert.

"I want to tell you something." He said, my gaze turning to him but I didn't say anything.

"I'm not sorry for paying the food. Now, please stop ignoring me. I hate it when someone ignores me," He pouted childishly, taking a gulp of his drink.

He then resorted to giving me the puppy dog eyes and snickers, his grey eyes looked too beautiful to be ignored and that pout should be considered illegal.

"Fine, stop doing that face." I demanded, chewing my food.

Just like that, a grin replaced his pout. He took another fry and dipped it into his mcflurry before taking a bite from his sandwich.

"That's weird," I commented, pushing some of my hair back.

"What's weird?" He asked, his brows furrowing lightly.

"Dipping your fries into the mcflurry. You didn't ask for some ketchup," I said, taking a spoonful of rice and stuffing it into my mouth.

Todd's nose scrunched up,"Ew, I hate ketchup. It reminds me of period and it tastes like tomatoes," He answered, shuddering lightly.

"Todd," I started off."It's because ketchup are indeed made of tomatoes." I deadpanned, giggling at his stupidity.

A frown graced his face,"What? I thought they were made of bananas?" He asked out loud.

"Bananas? Where'd you get that idea from?" I asked, taking a long sip from my coke.

He was about to reply but his shoulders deflated and he frowned,"Never mind, I remembered but another thought passed by and when I tried to go back to it, I couldn't."

I couldn't help but laugh, almost choking on the cube of ice before I forced myself not to laugh.

I could totally relate to him though, there were a few times where I forget the words I'm gonna say because I got distracted.

Todd gave me a playful glare but then ended up laughing as well.

Lunch was spent with us talking about our most embarrassing moments and there were a few times that Todd had to stand up because he was laughing so hard and oxygen wouldn't enter his system.

I let out a burp,"Oops, excuse that! Where are we going next?" I asked, rubbing my full stomach as we walked out of mcdonald's.

Todd only smiled secretly and placed a hand behind my back to steer me into the direction of wherever it was.

I was surprised when we entered a salon, the sound of hair blower and the scent of hair dye and hair spray met my senses. Todd took his hand away from me and went off towards the reception lady.

I was suddenly pulled by someone into one of the chairs and made me sit down. I was greeted by a lady in her mid-30s that wore a warm smile on her face.

"Good afternoon beautiful! What can I do for you today?" She asked, placing her hands unto my shoulders.

"She's with me Aunt Sadie," Todd interjected, a wide smile on his face

She gasped,"Todd! What a surprise! It's been a long time since I saw you. Oh, You've grown so much," She pointed out, pulling him in for a big hug.

Todd laughed, hugging her back."It's nice to see you too. Mom didn't told you that we were gonna move back? How's Uncle Bob? Still building houses?" Todd asked, pulling away.

"Your mom called me, I just didn't expect that you'd move back this soon. Bob is still Bob dear. He's been fixing the treehouse that you guys built when he found out you were coming back." She answered, chuckling lightly.

I just sat there awkwardly, glancing at the two of them talk. It seems that she's a relative of Todd. He must've felt my awkwardness and grinned at me.

"Aunt Sadie meet Ellie Haven. She's a new friend of mine," Todd introduced, turning to glance at her.

I stood up from the chair,"It's nice to meet you Mrs." I trailed off, giving her a shy smile.

"Just call me Sadie dear. A friend of Todd is a friend of mine," She said, giving me a playful wink.

I nodded, giving her a smile on return.

"Now, what I can I help you with? Haircut? Hair Dye?" She repeating the question earlier, glancing at the both of us.

Todd gave me a mischievous look before leaning to Aunt Sadie to whisper something in her ear. She let out a small squeal before turning to me excitedly.

"Let's get started dear," She ushered me to take a seat and placed a protective cloth around me.

"Is it okay if I leave you here for a while? I'll be back in two hours tops," Todd turned to me, leaning down slightly to my height.

"Absolutely okay! Take your time," I answered, giving him a smile.

"I'll be back," He smiled, pushing a strand of my blonde hair behind my ear, earning a blush from me.

"Take care of her Aunt Sadie," He bid his goodbye before walking off.

After an hour and a half of sitting in the chair, I was tempted to stand up since I felt like my ass lost circulation in the first ten minutes of sitting but I obviously decided against it and opted to guess what she was trying to apply on my hair.

Yeah, ended up as a fail considering almost  everything smelled the same.

Sadie made me close my eyes and promised me not to peak and ruin the surprise. I couldn't help but fall asleep a few times and almost broke my neck for bending in such angle.

Sadie had a solution to keep me awake and that was a feet spa. It clearly worked considering how I spent the next hour trying not to laugh because it tickled.

"In the count of three, you open can open your eyes." Sadie stated, a giddy tone on her voice.

I waited for it to wait for three before opening my eyes. I let out a startled gasp, touching my hair in disbelief.

"I love it!"
