I'm gonna faint.

again.

I'm just kidding.

Not really.

I'm here at my room currently freaking out in my ripped jeans and a
halter top with a pair of sandals.

It's 8:30 p.m and a few family members have arrived for the Christmas party but no signs of the boys nor Alec.

Speaking of Alec, he's the reason why I'm freaking out because I have no clue on what to say or how to start up a conversation with him because of earlier.

I replayed so many times of what Alec said about how I really don't know much about him and I felt disappointed on how true it was.

I know some of his favorites but I never really knew who his parents were or if he has any siblings.

A knock on my room resonated and I looked up to see Mom's head poking in my door.

"Why aren't you going down? Dinner's about to be serve in a few." Mom said,  looking gorgeous as ever.

I let out a fake smile,"Oh, uh, I was just doing my make up," I lied easily.

Mom raised a brow,"You aren't holding any make up tool and I know that look, is there a problem sweetie?" Mom asked, closing the door behind her.

I sighed,"It's about Alec and I think he got upset about something I said earlier and he said something along the lines that there are still so many things I don't know about him and I'm sad because it's kinda true and I just don't know how to face him later on knowing his upset over something,"I said, my eyes looking downcast.

"Oh sweetie, from what I can tell Alec is the kind of guy who doesn't like talking stuff about themselves but the only way he can open up to you is, if you try to approach the subject." Mom said, taking a hold of my hand.

"But what if he avoids the subject? What then?" I asked, totally lost.

"Then that means he's not ready yet and all you have to do is wait and show him you'll be there for him no matter what. Trust is the key to everything darling," Mom said, pushing a strand of hair behind my ear.

"When I met your Dad, It was not exactly all rainbows and sunshine dear. We had many bumps on the road but no matter what happened, we had trust. We trusted each other that we both can make it out and look what it brought us." Mom said, a genuine expression on her face.

I felt myself tear up a bit,"Thanks mom, I don't know what I'll do without you." I said, pulling her in a hug.

"It's nothing sweetie and besides if it doesn't work out, I'll buy you junks foods although I'm sure that wouldn't happen regarding on how he looks completely smitten over you." Mom teasingly said.

I blushed,"Mom, stop it." I groaned, hiding my red face.

She let out a giggle,"Now that matter is discussed, how about we make ourselves present downstairs now."Mom suggested, offering me her arm.

Looping my hand around hers,"Vamonos!" I said, before walking out of the room.

Arriving downstairs, I was greeted by a a few of my relatives. I was talking to my cousin, britanny, when a pair of arms wrapped around me.

I looked up expecting to see electric blue eyes but was shocked to see a pair of mischievous green eyes instead.

I pushed him gently,"Todd! That's not nice! What if Alec sees you? He's already mad at me and I can't make him even more mad! Oh blue luncheon meat! Is he here? What if he saw us?! He'd probably think that I'm making him jealous! O-" I was cut off by Todd's hand on my lips.

"Geez! Relax woman, I was just kidding and is that how you greet your guest around here? and The boy's aren't even here yet nor Alec." Todd said, letting go of his hand.

"Uh, hey guys. I'm still here." Brittany piped in, waving her skinny hand infront of us.

Todd suddenly gave her a flirty smile,"Oh, hey angel. Didn't see you there." He said, winking.

Brittany recoiled,"Sorry dude but I'm only thirteen and," she gave Todd a once over,"You're not really my type." She said.

I bursted out laugh,"Burn baby! Hahaha, look at your face! Oh my god! Hahaha,"I doubled over laughing.

Todd blushed beet red,"Uh, I-i think I'm gonna go the bathroom, Where's your bathroom Ellie?" He asked, rubbing his neck.

After pointing out where it was, he immediately made his way without muttering anything.

"Nice one Brit!" I said, giving her a high five.

She grinned before her phone rang and she had to answer it on private.

The door bell rang, Mom poked her head from the kitchen wearing a red santa claus hat.

"Sweetie, can you get the door? I'm entertaining our guests!" She whispered before turning back.

I headed for the door and opened it, There stood the freaking bad boys in their semi causual attires.

"Aw! You look adorable!" I said, directing it to the twins who wore matching red sweaters.

"Thanks!" They beamed,"Where do we put this gifts?" They both asked, referring to the gifts that they were carrying.

"You can give it to my mom and she'll know what to do with," I said before giving them each a hug and usherig them inside.

"Alec isn't with you?" I asked, looking at Chase with a worry expression.

"No, he said we could go first since he has a has a few things to do." He answered, looking at the twins who we're currently complimented by my mother and aunts.

I nodded,"I think he was kinda upset at what I said earlier," I mentioned, twiddling with my fingers.

"What did you say?" Chase asked, his eyes glazing with concern.

I told him all the things that happened earlier today including the fainting incident.

"You fainted? Are you kidding me red?" Chase chuckled, slapping a hand on his thigh.

I blushed,"Hey! I was surprised okay?" I said, smacking his arm.

He grinned,"Surprised? Yeah, okay." He said.

"But seriously? Did I say something wrong?" I asked, worried.

"Yeah, about the italian part. Rough things had happened to Alec that caused him to be cold and kinda distant. He doesn't like talking stuff about himself because he doesn't trust easily like it took him one year and half before he finally opened up to us. It's not your fault though because you didn't know but just go easy on him, yeah?" Chase said, giving me a small smile.

"Alec's here!" The twins rushed in both arms clinging to Alec's.

Alec was wearing a red plaid shirt with an inner v-neck and paired it with a skinny jeans along with his leather shoes.

What caught my attention was the newly bruised knuckles that were wrapped in a gauze.

I gasped before rushing to him,"What happened? Why is your knuckles bleeding?" I said, before gently taking a hold of it.

He pulled his hand away,"It's nothing, I just got carried away on the punching bag." He said, avoiding eye contact.

I was about to say something when mom cut me off.

"I see! Ellie's guest have arrived now! Let's all proceede to the backyard and eat!" Mom ushered, the twins and Alec out of the room.

I sighed before a hand rested gently on my shoulder.

Chase smiled at me gently,"It's okay Red. The night is still young okay?" He assured.

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. My nerves bubbling up inside me but I did my best to calm it down.

I gave a soft smile,"Okay." I said,
nodding gently.

Todd walked in,"Where's everybody?" It seems he wasn't embarrassed now and is back to his normal self.

"They're in the backyard, let's go and eat,"I said before dragging both of them with me.

I was surprised at how pretty the backyard looked, there were christmas lights on the bushes and a long table has been set up where all the foods where placed. Round tables and chairs where scattered on the rest of the space and on another table where a small christmas tree was place with different sizes of gift.

"Ellise dear!" I looked to my left to see Ma Charlotte making her way to me.

"Ma Charlotte!" I said, meeting her half way and hugging her.

"Oh sweet Ellise! You look gorgeous as ever! Look at your hair! It's all blue!" She said, her hand patting my ironed hair.

"Aw, Thank you ma. I can say I think you look more beautiful every time I see you." I complimented, looking at her cute skirt and floral top.

"Oh dear, your making me blush. I haven't seen you in a while," She said, her voice raspy.

"Yeah, sorry ma but school's kinda eating my time out so I couldn't visit you." I said, an apologetic look on my face.

"It's okay dear, also I can't tell between the two handsome guys who your boyfriends is,"Ma Charlotte said, referring to Chase and Todd who were making their way to us.

"Hi, I'm Todd. Ellie's friend," Todd introduced, offering a polite smile.

"I'm Chase, A close friend of Ellie." Chase said, giving a shy smile.

"I'm Charlotte Gonzales, Ellie's baby sitter since she was small." Ma Charlotte said, pulling them both in a hug.

She pulled away,"Wait, so who's the boyfriend?" Ma Charlotte asked, confused.

"Oh!" Todd exclaimed,"You see that guy? The one with the plaid sh-yep! That one, He's the supposed to be boyfriend of this girl but he doesn't have the guts yet but I'm betting on it that in a few days, he'll find his balls and he'll drop the most awaited question since day one of this book." Todd said, giving full on smiling.

"Ohhh! A bad boy! Ellise, why didn't you tell me, you little rascal!" Ma said, giving me a teasing smile.

I blushed,"Yeah, uh, he's not boyfriend?" I stuttered out.

Todd rolled his eyes,"Yet Ellie, didn't you just heard what I said?" He asked, looking at me flatly.

I turned red even more and they all bursted out laughing.

"Ma Chow! I wanna show you something! Come with me!" We all looked down to see Theodore.

He was dressed in a Christmas themed onesie and santa's hat on his head.

"We'll continue this later, It was nice meeting you lads." and with that she let Theodore pull her away.

"That little guy was cute! He kinda looks like you though," Todd said.

"He's her little brother, you idiot." Chase retorted, rolling his eyes.

Todd gasped,"That was your little brother?! How come, you didn't tell me?!" Todd exclaimed.

"Uh, you didn't ask?" I trailed off, shrugging my shoulders.

A loud 'ting' like sound caught our attention and I saw Mom standing in the corner with Dad tapping his spoon in the champagne glass.

"Hey gu-Honey, that's enough," Mom said to dad who continued tapping on the glass.

Dad blushed, before muttering an 'oops' which got everybody laughing.

"Thank you for attending this small celebration with us, Let us dance the night away and have fun because christmas is all about uniting and showing our loves to others!" Mom said, a grin showing on her face.

"But before that party jazz! Let's all feed our hungry monsters with my wife's awesome foods!" Dad exclaimed.

A small cheer erupted from the backyard before some of my relatives started making their way to the food area.

"I wish I had parents like that," Todd mumbled out before making his way to the food area.

I shook my head smiling and glanced at Chase. My heart dropped a little when I saw his pained eyes.

"Hey," I muttered softly,"She's in a better place remember? and I think she's frowning at you right now because of that sad look. Cheer up!" I said, bumping my shoulders to his.

He gave me a thankful smile,"I remember, come on. Let's eat." He said before dragging me to the food area.

After filing up our plates, we made our way to one of the round tables where Todd, The twins, and Alec have already been seated.

"This cupcake is so good! Can I like borrow your mom? She's an angel from heaven!" Todd cried out, taking a bite on the cupcakes.

I grinned,"Sorry but I think dad would kill you if you did." I pointed out, taking a spoonful of my pasta.

"We love your Mom Ellie! She's a sweetheart,"The twins said, happily taking a bite on their food.

I let out a laugh when I noticed Alec looking so tense and rigid. He was already finished eating and is avoiding my eyes.

"Can I have you instead?" Todd joke out.

I gave him a flat look and was surprised when Alec suddenly stood up. He was clenching his jaw.

"I'm just gonna get some fresh air," Alec muttered before walking back to my house.

"Uh, were outside? Like doesn't that count as fresh air?" Todd asked, completely lost.

I shared a concern look with Chase and the twins before standing up as well.

"I'm just gonna check up on him," I said before making my way inside of the house.

I checked the living room and kitchen to see he if was there. I was about to make my way upstairs when I caught something or rather someone smoking outside sitting on the chair of his harley on the window.

I made my way outside to Alec and felt my blood boil in anger when I was greeted by the strong scent of cigarette.

"What the fuck is wrong with you Alec? If I said something that upset you earlier them I'm sorry okay? I didn't know because you don't tell me these things but I'm not forcing you okay? and since when did you smoke?!" I babbled out, my anger growingevery second.

"Do you like me Ellie?" Alec asked, throwing the stick away and stepping on it.

He called me Ellie, it was a while since he called me Ellie but it felt cold and distant.

"What?" I could feel my heart thumping despite his cold behavior.

Damn it, now is not the time to get all blushy and flustered Ellie!

"I said do you like me Ellie? because if you don't then I'd gladly let you go rather than you showing it to my face of you guys being lovey dovey,"Alec spit out, his jaw clenching.

My jaw dropped,"Your kidding me right? Of course, I like you! Why would you even thi-What the hell?! You're jealous!" I said, disbelief plastered on my face.

"I'm a guy Ellie! Of course I'd get jealous and don't tell me that they're my friends and all that shit because I can't help it okay? I get jealous, possessive, and mad when you get all close with a guy and it makes me more mad because I know you deserve much better, much better than me who's a cold, distant, and an absolute a-hole." He said, his voice faltering every words as if he was ashamed.

Just seeing this boy who's known for being tough and cold turned into a broken boys breaks my heart.

I sighed stepping close to him and reaching out for his hand,"I'm sorry, I didn't know you felt that way but I want you to know that I totally mean it when I say I like you too and don't you ever say that to yourself because despite you being cold, distant, and sometimes an a-hole. You're still the Alec who comforted me, who took me on fun dates, and most of all who made me feel safe despite everything." I said, looking up to his electric blue eyes.

"Your absolutely amazing, you know that?" He complimented , pulling me to his arms.

I blushed,"Nah, it's just me being me." I said, wrapping my arms aroung his waist.

"I'm sorry too if I kinda got mad earlier. It's just I remember something from my past that got me upset," he mumbled, his head nestled on the crook of my shoulder.

"It's okay Alec but please tell me the next time okay? So, I wouldn't freak out if I did something wrong. I'm always here, remember that." I said, looking deep into his eyes showing him how sincere I was.

"I will cookie, Thank you." He said, finally giving me a heartwarming smile.

"It's nothing Alec," I said, taking a quick peck on his bruised knuckles.

He gave me another cheesy smile,"Let's get back inside? I don't want you getting cold." He said, before we made our way to the front door.

"Oh wait, before that I have something for you." He said, taking something out on his pockets.

I looked down to see a wrapped gift in his hands.

"Is that for me?" I asked, looking at the gift.

"Yes, uh, you can open it." He said, blushing slightly and handing it to me.

I immediately unwrapped it and let out a surprised gasp.

"You didn't!" I said excitedly jumping up and down.

He chuckled,"Yes, I did baby." He said, a smile on his face.

"Oh my god! It looks so pretty!" I said, looking at the small box that held different flavored cookies.

"Yeah, I owe you a pack cookies and I think it's time to repay it. I made it by the way, took me some practice but yeah." He said, scratching his neck.

My heart melted, he gave me a pack of cookies! Not just any pack but it's flavored and he made it himself.

"I love it! Thank you so much!" I said wrapping my arms around his neck.

He chuckled," I knew you would cookie." He said, pecking me in the cheek.

I blushed and looked up, meeting his eyes that I adored so much.

"Look at the door, No, the upper part of door yes! It's a mistletoe!" A familiar voice whispered near the window.

We looked up and was surprised to see that there was really a mistletoe. Since when did it get there?

"Kiss! Tha-ow! Stop elbowing me Chase!" Todd hissed as he peeks his green eyes on the window with curtains hiding his face.

"You're blowing our cover, peeping Todd." Chase whispered back.

"Shh, we're trying to help them!" Todd whispered back and a soft grunt was heard.

"A mistletoe cookie, there's a tradition to it right?" Alec asked, pulling me close to him.

"Yes! If a couple was found standing under the mistletoe, they were then obliged to kiss!" Todd answered but his voice was still in a whisper.

Alec rolled his eyes but then grinned,"Well, we can't break the tradition, can't we?" He said, wrapping an arm around my waist and closing the small distance between us.

I could feel my blood rushing to my face and the fluttering butterflies in my stomach tingled wildy.

"No, we can't." I whispered, seemingly lost in his electric blue eyes.

With that answer, I felt his lips crashing onto mine and I wrapped my arms around his neck, kissing him back.

This kiss felt more amazing than the last time. This was more passionate and I felt sparks tingling on my lips. Fireworks were there and I felt warm all over.

He licked my lips and felt him smile as I sighed in satisfaction. Pulling away, he pushed the strand of hair behind my back.

"Merry Christmas Cookie." He whispered, before crashing his lips onto mine one more time.

And at that time, I wished nothing more than to freeze that moment, right here, right now and live in it forever.
