Joseph | 10 AM

Ella ended up booking a flight for 3 AM so I dropped her off at 2 AM and came back. Before she got out of the car, she thanked me.

I felt for Ella simply because I know how she feels. I know how it feels to have someone go ghost on you and you not know why. Trust me, that shit sucks. I also feel for Ella because I know why Blake's doing this, he's just doing it wrong. What he's failing to realize is no matter what, Ella is going to get hurt, she already got hurt. In my opinion, he's just needs to tell her what really happens before she finds out another way. I know it'll be better coming from him and not the other way.

I slipped a shirt on as I walked out of the room and downstairs where I heard talking and laughing.

"Good morning." Gracie said, sitting beside Kenzie.

"Morning." I replied, sitting beside of Kelly.

"So, what're we doing today?" Noelle asked.

"Let's all do something today. Let's start with breakfast." Grayson offered.

"Aight, cool. Where at though and where to next?" Blake asked.

"Golden Corral and after that lets go to the mall." Nina said.

"And then after that we can go somewhere actually fun, like laser tag." Kenzie said.

"That's cool. Then we can head to the beach for a few hours." Kelly said.

"And then end the day back here with a big dinner like the first night we came." Gracie said.

"Everybody cool with that?" I asked, looking around as everyone nodded in agreement.

"We should probably ask Ella if she's okay with these plans." Noelle said softly.

"Ugh, why. It's not like I would care if she wasn't." Nina scoffed.

"Okay, that wouldn't make a difference because we do." Kelly said, glaring at rudest bitch in the room.

"And I still don't see why." Nina said, cutting her eyes at Blake whose eyes were glued to his phone.

"Shut up already damn. I'm going to check on Ella and make sure she's alright with these plans." Gracie said, standing up.

I guess I should probably speak up now since I am the only one who knows that she isn't in her room and where exactly she's at.

"There's no need." I began, looking at Gracie who stopped in her tracks and turned to face me. "Because she's not there." I finished, looking at Blake.

"Not here? Then where in the hell is she and how do you even know that?" Kelly asked.

"She's gone. She booked a flight and I dropped her off." I said.

I looked down at my vibrating iPhone seeing Ella 😈 on the screen.

I landed, got a uber, got home safely and unpacked my suitcases. Thank again, Joseph. – Ella 😈 ; 10:36 AM

"She's already home and have unpacked her bags." I said, looking at Kelly.

"And what exactly gave you the right that you thought you could just let her leave without telling anyone, especially her siblings." Gracie said, coming my way.

"The simple fact that she talked to me last night and not any of you." I said, looking at the eight pairs of eyes that were on me.

"She opened up to you?" Kelly asked softly.

"She did but if we're being honest here, I think it's because I can relate to her. I know what she's feeling right now."

She got ready to open her mouth but closed it, looking down at her lap instead.

"So, Ellen is gone?" Nina asked, happiness clearly obvious in her voice.

"It's Ella." Kenzie said, putting emphasis on Ella's name. "But I guess so." She finished.

"Awe that sucks, too bad so sad we've got to continue moving on with our day! So, everyone will be showered and ready in an hour? Perfect, come on baby." Nina said, standing up while tugging on Blake's arm.

"You said she made it back?" Grayson said, looking at me.

"Yeah." I replied.

He nodded and got up, exiting the room with Kenzie and Gracie in tow, leaving Kelly and me.

"Hey." I started, leaning up. "She made me promise to try and keep you here. She said you graduated too, this vacation is yours as much as it was hers. That she wants you to enjoy yourself and you can't do that if you come running after her." I said.

I watched as she stared at me, letting the words run through her brain for a moment before a smile took over.

"That sounds like something she'd say. Thank you, Joseph. For ya know, getting her out of here, she was breaking before everyone's eyes. Maybe that's just what she needed, to go home."

"You're welcome. I can see how important she is to you guys, so I'd help just because of that little fact."

She shot me a smile and got up, heading upstairs. About five minutes later, I followed her actions and headed into my own room so I can get dressed.

It took me twenty minutes to take a shower and get dressed. I was currently sitting in the living room dressed while slipping on my high-top converse.

"It's pathetic isn't it." Blake said, appearing around the corner.

"What is?" I asked, sparing him a glance.

"The fact that she left a dream spot because of me. I didn't even do anything to stop her."

"Nah man, let me tell you what's more pathetic. You came here to explain everything to her, to stop her pain but you caused her more. Instead of figuring out how many copies exist, you came here and began to live it up. You never kept your word bro. You act like there's not an easier way out. The truth hurts, yes but a lie hurts even more. Want an example? Look at Ella."
