Ella | Next Morning

I woke up to hearing my door open and then my bed dip.

"Ella." Grayson said, shaking me like a maniac.

"What, Grayson." I groaned.

"Get up. We're all discussing what we're doing today and how we're getting there with two cars." He said, dragging me out of bed by my arm.

Good thing I decided to sleep in shorts and not just a tank top and underwear. That would've been awkward and just disturbing.

I grunted as he dragged me down the steps and tossed me on the couch beside of Noelle.

"Geesh, thanks for the ride, I swear you threw me into every wall down here."

"You're welcome." He shrugged, sitting beside of Joseph.

I sighed while scratching my head.

"She probably has lice." Nina snickered.

And you probably have a loose vag-

"Didn't we discuss our plans yesterday?" Kelly asked.

"Yeah." I mumbled.

"So, all we've really got to figure out is how everyone is getting to where they are going and how they are getting home, okay easy enough." Joseph said.

"Yeah but Ella's planning on going to Seaside, which is only thirteen minutes away, but I'm pretty sure the rest of us are going to stay in Cannon Beach." Kelly said.

Ella's planning? Doesn't she mean Ella and I?

"That's cool, we can drop her and then go back to get her." Grayson says.

"Why are you going to Seaside? Why not stay here?" Noelle asks.

"I don't know. Cannon Beach is a dream place to visit, sure but so is Seaside. I guess I just decided to start there today and explore here tomorrow." I said, shrugging.

"Weird, but whatever. Nobody cares. Blake, Noelle and Joseph can drop her off wherever she wants to go though." Nina offered, sarcastically.

"No thanks, I'd rather walk." I said, smiling.

"And who said I was going with you three?" Joseph shot, brow raised.

"Well, are you?" Blake asked.

"Yeah but just because I know you'll be bored without me." He chuckled.

"Yeah, imma just let you believe that." Blake chuckled.

"Okay. Ella will ride with us. We can drop her and come back then go back and get her. Since six people can't fit in the jeep, whenever she's dressed, I'll go drop her and come back." Kenzie said.

"Kelly, are you not coming with me?" I asked, standing up to stretch.

"I was actually thinking that we could go tomorrow just the two of us. I know, I know I told you-" She began but I quickly cut her off.

"It's fine. We can go together tomorrow, I don't mind." I said, shrugging.

Sure, it would've been fun go explore Seaside with my best friend, but I could also use the alone time since I won't have any for a few more weeks.

"Are you sure? Just say no and I'll-" She began but once again, I cut her off.

"It's okay, Kelly. I promise. Tomorrow works just fine." I said, trying to reassure her.

"Okay." She sighed.

At 12:30, I was dropped in the heart of the town named Seaside while being dressed in a light blue bikini underneath jean shorts, a tank top and a pair of converses with a mini backpack on my back.

"Call me when you're ready to come back and be safe." Kelly said, shifting the gear to reverse.

"Alright, have fun!" I said, shutting the door and stepping onto the sidewalk.

She pulled off and I looked around me. I was in the heart of the town with not one idea on what to do first.

"Thankfully, I made a to do list." I mumbled to myself, pulling out the piece of paper.

To Do List for Seaside FREAKING Oregon!
(OMG, I'm really here)

1.    Visit the Aquarium -cause, I really really like fishies-

2.    Visit Fort Clatsop -it looks boring, just like me-

3.    Visit Funland Arcade

4.    Interstate Amusement

5.    LUNCH TIME!

6.    Feed the seals

7.    Go shopping so Kelly can shut up

8.    Go hiking

9.     TO THE BEACH WE GO

10.  Okay, I guess we can go home now.

Well, numbers 3,4, and 7 are definitely getting crossed off right now because it's no fun to do them alone. I grabbed my phone, opening Maps. I entered the location to the aquarium

Well look at that, only an eight minute walk.

I began walking in the direction of the aquarium while taking in my surroundings of downtown.

Seaside was a gorgeous town. I was in love with the layout. The stores were bunched together but also spaced out. It was kind of like downtown California with the multiple sidewalks and many people walking down them, some together and in my case, some alone. If I had the opportunity to live here, there's no doubt that I'd take it.

I sat on the edge of the bed, watching Nina as she tried to decide on which shoe to wear.

"Baby." She sighed, plopping down beside me. "Which one should I wear? Help me." She whined.

Damn, that's annoying.

I sighed, looking at the black converse and the black heel. Who would even consider wearing stilettos while walking around town?

"The converse."

She nodded before tossing the heels somewhere across the room and slipping the converse on her feet.

"How do I look?" She asked, twirling.

"Good." I stated, hardly paying her any attention.

"Blake." She began, whining. "You're not paying attention to me."

How can I when you're not the one I want to be with?

"You look fine, Nina. Are you ready?"

I didn't wait for her reply, I was already out of the room and heading downstairs where Noelle and Joseph were waiting on us.

"Damn bro, you look annoyed." Joseph stated, leaning back on the couch like the dumbass that he is.

"Shut the fuck up."

I walked past them, ending up in the back of the mansion. I slipped the blue and white box from my pocket and opened it, grabbing a cancer stick and lighting it, taking a much needed draw from it.

"You haven't smoked them in a while." She said, eyeing the box.

"Yeah I know." I stated, running my fingers through her almost white hair.

"Why?"

"Because you're the one that keeps me calm. Why do I need those, when I have you?" I asked, watching her blush.

"Hm, touché, plus, I would always put them out." She said, giggling.

"Yeah that too." I grumbled.

I watched as she got on top of me and laid down, her face in my neck.

"I love you." I mumbled, holding her close.

"I love you too."

"Yo, what's up with you?" Joseph asked, eyeing me.

"It's hard being around her, knowing she's hurting, and I won't do anything about it, man." I said, running a hand through my hair.

"But why won't you is the question."

"Because I can't let her find out what I did. She'd probably hate me more and I'd rather have her hating me without knowing what I did than to hate me and know what I did. The hurt she has now wouldn't even compare to the hurt she'd have then."

"And I understand that, but do you really want her to continue to think that she was the problem when it was really you?" He asked, snatching the cigarette and putting it out.

I sighed, thinking.

I know how she thinks, and I know for a fact she thinks that it was her fault, but it wasn't. It was mine and I should own up to it, I just don't want to hurt her even more.

"Sometimes you can't protect the one you want to protect the most, remember that."
