Ella | Rental Home

Kelly was only expecting six of us to come on the trip, not nine, therefore she had to change the already reserved Tahoe to a Jeep and a Mercedes. I drove the Jeep and Grayson drove the Mercedes.

Currently we are just arriving at the huge mansion that we would be calling home for the next two weeks and I'm in shock because it's so big. It's mainly glass, which I don't like, but still adore.

I parked beside of Grayson and cut the engine, still looking at the house in awe. The driveway was a roundabout but in the center, there was a large circle of grass that held a fountain statue. Leading up to the double doors were what seemed like twenty steps—which I hated already.

If the front looks like this, what does the back look like?

Probably ten times better.

"Are you going to get out or just sit there admiring the place?" Kelly asked, trying not to laugh.

"Shut up." I mumbled, sliding out of the Jeep.

I slammed the door behind me and walked to the circle of humans that stood in front of the Mercedes.

"Before we enter, there's something you guys should know." Kelly said, digging through her mini backpack.

"What is it?" Blake asked.

"Well, this house only has six bedrooms, meaning we're gonna have to pair up." Kelly said.

Pair up? I hate sleeping with people.

"Oh that's fine, Blake and I will share." Nina said, looking at me while kissing his cheek.

Well isn't someone a petty little dog.

"I call dibs on Kelly." Grayson said, throwing his arm around her shoulders.

"Oh come on, she's my bestfriend." I said, smiling at the two who never made it as a couple.

"Wait this works out. Kenzie and Gracie can share and that way you, Noelle and Ace can have your own rooms. Plus, you hate sleeping with me. You say I sleep too wild." Kelly said.

"That's because you do." I said.

"Woah, Ella you can't be talking about anyone sleeping wild." Gracie said laughing.

"Yes I can, I don't sleep wild." I said, causing a snort from Ace.

"Lies. You gave Blake a black eye." Ace said.

"Yes, but on purpose." I began. "He wouldn't stop messing with me and I was trying to sleep." I finished.

"What did you want anyways?" Ace asked, looking at Blake.

I was extremely uncomfortable with this conversation, but I told myself I wouldn't let Blake ruin my time here and that's exactly what I'm going to do. Even if it hurts to just talk about memories I had with him.

"Just know that I got what I wanted soon after. He said, chuckling.

"Okay, I'm bored and hungry. So can we go inside yet?" Nina whined, ruining the mood.

I don't know should I should be annoyed or thankful.

How about thankful? He basically just said without saying that he had sex with you after you punched him for messing with you and Nina ruined the mood, causing a subject change.

Without a word being said, we started grabbing our suitcases and heading up to the door. I sighed, dragging my suitcase behind me.

You really should start working out more.

Shut up, if I have to that means you do too. Afterall, we are the same person.

Kelly unlocked the door before opening it, letting all of us walk in first.

"Woah." Noelle breathed out.

"This is amazing." Gracie said.

The floor was marble, going great with the majority of the house being glass. I broke away from the group and began looking around the bottom level, leaving my suitcase by the door.

The furniture was mainly white, which might be a problem for me because I'm clumsy and spill everything, but it was still beautiful. The majority of the walls were glass, which I was in love with. I rounded the corner and ended up in the kitchen, which was made up of marble. I spotted a white spiral staircase that reminded me of a playground slide, it was beautiful.

I went up the steps which led me to more freaking glass walls. On the right was a mini living room including a tv and on the left were a bunch on doors. I headed to the left and began opening the doors left and right revealing bedrooms and bathrooms. I stopped after opening the fifth door, finding my temporary bedroom.

The bed was basically sectioned off behind glass, it even had a door separating it from the rest of the room and the bed. I basically have my own living room inside of my bedroom.

This is better than our own bedroom.

This house is better than our house.

"Woah, this is nice." Kenzie said from behind me.

"I know, I might redesign my room something similar to this." I said, spinning around to see her.

"It would be cool."

"It would be." I said, smiling.

She gave me a smile before disappearing from the door way but soon after Kelly popped up with my suitcase.

"Best room in the house, huh?" She asked.

"I'd think so." I said, laughing.

"Here's your suitcase."

"Thanks." I said, taking it from her.

"You're welcome. We're going to grill out for dinner tonight but we have to go to the store, are you coming?"

"Um-" I began, pausing. "No. I think I'm going to stay here." I said, grabbing my suitcase from her.

"C'mon Ella. Is it because of Bla-" She began but I quickly cut her off.

"No. I just want to unpack and relax. I'll come join everyone once you get the grill started. I promise." I said, trying to get her to leave me alone quicker.

"Okay." She said, sighing in defeat.
