Ella (the right) and Gracie (the left) up top!

Gracie | Home

Today was Friday, which meant some of the girls from the cheer squad was going to Hailee's place for a Girl's Night.

Ella's birthday is next Friday and I was still trying to decide on what to get her. I hardly know what she likes. Most of the years spent with her, I hardly paid any attention to her and if she was alive.

When she told us that she nearly killed herself because of mainly me and my friends, that broke my heart completely. It's like I could feel it breaking into tiny pieces. Every time my mind runs back to that, I can continuously feel my heart breaking.

I don't know what I would've did if she would've actually killed herself.

I put my white heels on to match my white top and light blue jeans. I had my hair in a pony tail with loose, freshly curled strands surrounding my face.

I exited my room to go down the hall to Ella's to tell her that I wasn't coming back home tonight and not to worry.

Out of all three of us, Ella Grace worries the most. I don't think Grayson and I could even compare to Ella when she worries.

I opened her door with my eyes glued to my phone. I heard a scream which made my eyes shoot up.

"Gracie!"

She was standing there in just a fluffy white towel.

"Oh shut up, we're working with the same parts. Plus we're sisters. Anyways, I was just coming to tell you that I'm staying the night with Hailee and some of the girls at Hailee's house. It's a girls night."

"Okay and why couldn't you just text that?"

"Because you never reply or check your messages. Start checking them and I could. Love you, bye."

I went and kissed her cheek before leaving out of her room and going back to mine.

I rounded the corner to the kitchen and saw Grayson sitting at the island with a bowl of Frosted Flakes sitting in front of him.

"Morning" He said, groggily.

"Goodmorning."

I kissed his cheek and grabbed a granola bar.

"You don't know what Ella Grace likes, do you?"

"Not much. I know she loves music. Her favorite artist might be somewhere between Maroon 5 and Against The Current. Especially Against The Current, she has a lot of their posters on the wall. I also know she loves that store uh..." He stopped to think about it. "Hot Topic. Yeah that place. Whenever she comes back from the mall, most of her bags are from there. That's about it. Why?"

I made a mental note to remember that.

"Her birthday is next Friday and I need to know what to get her."

"Oh yeah, same here. I need to get her some things too. I'm going to come back during lunch and go through her room, see what she has most of."

"Uh, how about I do that. Us girls got stuff guys don't really want to see." I shrugged.

"Oh yeah. You can definitely do that. I don't want to see any of her panties, bras or sex toys."

I laughed and grabbed my keys from my white purse.

"Exactly, so just in case. I'll go through it and see what she might like."

"Are we having a party?"

"Well duh. She's turning eighteen."

He chuckled.

"True."

I left to the garage after telling him "see you later" and got into my car.

I pulled into my space and cut the engine. I got out and walked into the school with my bookbag on my back and white purse on my arm.

I went out to the courtyard where I saw Hailee, Ciara, Tiara and Ashley. I sat beside of Ashley.

"Morning you basic hoes." I said making them laugh.

"Goodmorning" They replied at once.

"OMG. I can't wait for your girls night, Hailee." Ciara said.

"I know. Like who can? it's going to be so lit." Hailee said, flipping her pin straight hair over her shoulder before taking a sip of her Starbucks.

"You never did say who was all invited." Tiara said.

"Yeah I know. When all of the squad gets here, I'll let everyone know who is and who isn't invited." Hailee paused. "And by the way, your five percent pretty but still a pathetic loser of a sister, is not invited." She finished.

I wondered if that's how I sounded when I spoke about Ella Grace.

"Okay one, she wouldn't be there even if she was invited. And two, she's not five percent pretty, she's a hundred percent. She's gorgeous and she's not a pathetic loser, she's a nerd." I defended my sister.

It's okay to call Ella a nerd because that's what she is and she's proud of it. She says "if you're a nerd, then it's likely you're going to have a bright future".

"Who are we talking about?" Kenzie asked as she arrived at the table with sunglasses on her head.

"Ella." Ciara said simply.

"Oh. What about her?" Kenzie asked.

"About how she's five percent pretty-" Tiara started but was cut off by Kenzie laughing.

"Five percent? Try drop dead gorgeous."

We all looked at her as she defended my sister.

"What?" She asked.

"That's the first time you've defended her. That's what." Ashley said.

"No it isn't. I've defended her to Hailee before and some other girls." Kenzie said.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah. I've not once bullied her." Kenzie said.

"Whatever. No more talk of Ella." Hailee said, spitting my sisters name out like it was poison.

The two bad boys sat at the table; Blake beside Hailee and Ace beside Tiara. I wanted nothing more than to smack Blake for embarrassing my sister over some cigarettes.

Hasn't she been bullied enough?

"Did you enjoy yourself, Blake?" I asked, causing him to look at me as some black strands spilled into his face.

"What?" He asked.

"Over some cigarettes? Like that's mature." I said sarcastically.

He smirked.

"Her fault. Does she have them or should I do more?" He asked.

"She does, and I hope she throws them at your face." I said while grabbing my bookbag and walking off.

I got about three feet from the table when I heard his raspy voice.

"And watch how the hell you talk to me."

"Or what?" I said, turning around to look at him.

"You'll see."

"Oh, I'm shaking in my boots." I said, sarcastically.

I turned back around and headed into the school.
