Running Away MJ'S POV

All my life I wanted freedom and it was taken away from me, I don't deserve to be locked in a cage. I was in jail for about two years now I have to serve an amount of twenty years in prison and I think two year to serve is long enough. Escaping jail isn't so east when there are security cameras and guards every where. Two guys escaped already and haven't been found in three months I wish I was that smart to get out. They are one the top ten most wanted list they must be just as dangerous as me. I wonder how they planned the great escape with out getting caught? The cell gate opens the officer tells us to line up and they tightly put us in hand cuffs and moved to a different jail there was not enough room for all of the prisoners to fit. "Wouldn't it be nice to be free?" I still gazed out the window. "Yeah why did you bring this up? We're never going to get out." Giving him some undivided attention. "It's easy we'll talk about this privately." He smirked. The idea seemed silly so I gave in. We were all assigned new cells and my cell mate was the same guy who talked about being free on the bus.

"So are we still in on the plan?" Our lunches slid under the door. "So when it's real quiet and there are no guards on duty we can try and pick the lock by putting out hands through the lunch slot. Afterwards we can knock out some others and turn off all of the security cameras and disconnect the wire so they have no evidence of us leaving and then we take the tape just in case it still recorded us. We steal one of the jail buses if we can find the keys to it or go by foot if we can't get the keys and maybe we can be disguised as someone who works here and nobody knows." I was so tuned into the plan this may be really intense but I'm ready for the challenge I like to take risk. "Oh and don't forget we have to make errands he winked, I knew what he meant. "I'm ready for this." I cooed.

"Michael wake up." He whispered. We tiptoed to the cell door trying to pick the lock with out to much noise. I opened the door slowly so that the door won't squeal this jail cell is pretty old. He gave me a sign that the coast was clear, and we speed walked to the security room cutting the wires to prevent us from being recorded. "Throw away the tape." I stomped on it and left it in the garbage. We leaned back in the room seeing people walk by all of a sudden two security uniforms was on the chair. "Here put this on we can blend it." We walked in the hallway and was stopped. "Um, it's not your shift aren't you supposed to be home?" I thought of something to say but I couldn't get my voice out, thinking we were caught. She studied our faces. "Um, I forgot something in the office so I had to go back to get it." My runway partner lies. "Oh well then see you tomorrow." I took a sigh of relief she believed us, the first part of the escape was easy. "Hey wait can we borrow the bus keys we have to get what we forgot out of the car." She took the keys out and we knocked her out cold on the floor. We ran outside to the bus and sped off. "Well that was easy." My partner in crime laughed. "I saw the look on your face, you thought you were caught." I clenched my fist. "I can be braver than that I didn't know what to say. "We don't have any money so we have to sleep on the bus tonight and we can rob the bank tomorrow so we can do what we want. "Goodnight."

The firs taste of freedom was exciting I'll try not to kill anyone or else it'll blow our cover.
