You bowed down to the silver haired man as you slowly moved towards the door.
"I hope to see you around him again," Yoongi said as you moved to leave.
You nodded unknowingly, your eyes totally glazed over and your mind running over all that you two had just talked about.
You knew so much about him that it kind of made you uncomfortable. Min Yoongi, the once mysterious member from the group that you had never met, you now knew so much about.
"Thank you for answering my questions," you said slowly as you found yourself bowing respectfully again.
He laughed at you so in awe still.
"Jungkook knows everything that happened in the past with Racy...he got his answers," Yoongi sighed out as he stood up slowly, "I just thought you deserved to know too. Now how you feel about Racy or me can dwell on what I've told you."
You smiled lightly as you nodded at him. "No wonder Jungkook was instantly trying to comfort Racy and you when hearing what had happened between the two of you."
"Again," Yoongi said as he opened up the door for your awestruck form, "why he still claims to be in love with Racy, when he clearly loves you is insane to me."
You bumped temple first into the door's side, "HUH?"
Yoongi's eyes widened as you moved back in pain. "Aish! Are you alright?" he asked as he debated on touching your arm as you stumbled back.
You swore under your breath as you rubbed at the side of your head. Yoongi smiled lightly when you swore and your eyes jolted to meet his. You bowed about twice, apologizing instantly and he laughed.
"You've shown me more respect in the last ten minutes than the boys have for the last few years," Yoongi teased, trying to lighten up the mood.
You smiled a bit, "Ah, sorry. It's just I've heard so much about you."
He sighed, "from the news articles I bet."
You practically watched his exterior darken.
"No," you reassured, smiling still, "from Jungkook and the boys...from Taehyung. They all respect you greatly."
Yoongi smiled painfully. "Taehyung not so much any more," he sighed out as he opened the door a bit slower. He smiled cutely at you when covering the edges playfully so that you wouldn't hit your head clumsily again.
You simply grew in more awe of how perfect the man before you was. How Racy could hurt him like she did years ago was beyond your imagination.
"Thank you," you said as you moved out, "it was nice meeting you."
"You sure about that?" he asked chuckling when remembering what you were mumbling out earlier when accidentally confronting him.
You grinned a bit as you nodded.
"Definitely."
You were looking at the side of his face as you walked outside. To your luck, it wasn't a surprise when you bumped straight into a frame. Looking over at the angry looking man, you smiled cutely at him so he'd refrain from yelling. Even Yoongi seemed to straighten up when seeing the man you were hurled against.
"What did I say Y/N?" he asked under his breath as if to try and maintain his cool.
"PD Nim!" you chimed cutely as you ended up hugging him since you were already so close to him.
He mumbled under his breath as you pulled away and patted at his chest, "Ah, right! When the boys are practicing I shouldn't be on the floor! Sorry sorry!"
"Y/N-"
"Bye!" you barked as you used your heels wisely when rushing into the long hallway.
Yoongi nervously laughed before looking at his hyung.
"Practice room with the boys now," PD Nim demanded as he walked slowly into the studio.
Yoongi's eyes shut when realizing that he was probably going to have to deal with seeing Taehyung again today. Although the dongsaeng had managed to avoid him on a regular, it could still get awkward when the rest of the group and staff gathered to purposely have them both communicate.
Sighing, Yoongi pulled himself together before moving towards the practice room.
-
Jungkook had come late to the practice which was probably why the instructor was picking on him a lot. It didn't help that his mind wasn't focused and in the right place either. Thinking spending time with Racy this morning would help, the longing pain in his gut never seemed to subside however. After seeing you and fighting earlier, the pain simply grew. It took him a bit to realize that this pain wasn't physical...it was simply his mind and body reacting to the ways he felt guilt for hurting you so much the past couple of weeks.
Trying to deny it all still, Jungkook couldn't focus on the moves as he kept repeating all that you had said to him. The way you felt. Used? She doesn't think I care for her at all...
He lamely did the final move, being in the center created more attention directed towards him, and he hated that he couldn't meet the instructor's wishes so quickly. "I'm sorry," Jungkook quickly let out before the instructor could scold him again.
The instructor simply waved him off.
The other members however seemed to be eyeing Jungkook's every move. The maknae seemed distressed and most of the group couldn't understand thoroughly why.
"We need to talk to him," Namjoon sighed as he went back into position when the instructor started up the music again.
Yoongi and Jimin nodded immediately as they heard. Jin, Hoseok, and Taehyung, on the other hand were lost and focused on the routine.
"I think Yoongi hyung should do it," Jimin said lightly as he smiled over at his hyung in reassurance.
Yoongi glanced over at the extremely upset maknae.
"I haven't talked to him since the night of the fight months ago, how am I-"
"Ahh," Namjoon began smiling, "that would be perfect. You suddenly talking to him will make him listen more attentively and maybe take certain messages more seriously...maybe he'll actually think a little about certain troubles."
"Certain troubles like Racy," Jimin mumbled and Yoongi's brows jumped at the tone of annoyance from the boy. He didn't know Jimin felt that way about the girl.
Namjoon wasn't feeling it as he simply mumbled a, "behave Jimin-ah."
Jimin mimicked their instructor as he simply waved his hyung off.
-
It didn't take long for you to be seated and speaking to a tense Racy once getting home.
It was hard for her to sit down by you, especially since what happened in the morning. But as soon as you mentioned the fact that Yoongi had talked to you, she was like a puppy being called to their owner. She sat so quick next to you, you questioned whether or not you should blink and miss it all.
"What you two talk about?" she asked. It was as if she had forgotten about being mad at you just a minute ago.
"He gave me answers," you said smiling at the memory of the silver haired man.
Racy swallowed lightly at that.
"So you know now," she said lightly and you nodded, sighing.
"It was a long time ago," Racy said as she let a hand run through her hair.
"Well history repeated itself now didn't it?" you piped and she glared at you.
Scolding yourself to behave, you pouted a bit, "why'd you cheat on him Racy?" you asked, your voice barely above a whisper when remembering how Yoongi had described their relationship before Bangtan had even debuted.
"It's hard to explain," Racy said painfully as she remembered everything that was once hidden in her past, "we were young and stupid...I wasn't supposed to be such a huge part of his life at that point. I mean he was about to debut and we barely saw one another-"
She cut herself off a bit as she sighed, smiling lightly, "but when we did, it was amazing."
"You two were each other's first loves," you slowly let out, remembering Yoongi describing it.
You could see your friend's eyes slowly start to well up.
"He um," she struggled, "he left to audition once and I hadn't seen him for months...me being stupid and insecure, I ended up finding the attention I needed from his friend at the time."
You nodded. You knew the story already.
"But it truly was a misunderstanding," Racy slowly let out, "no one ever chooses to believe me when I say it...and i don't blame them. Just because I thought a certain way, doesn't mean what I did was right."
"What misunderstanding?" you asked confused. This is why you wanted Racy's side of the story yourself. You wanted to know where you stood on your own. The last thing you wanted was to pick sides, and you refused to judge either of them over their past.
"There was word from his group of friends that he was sleeping around since he got all happy about being recruited by BigHit," Racy mumbled as a tear hit her cheek. She wiped it lamely before continuing, "I even heard a conversation once of them teasing and joking around. I guess Yoongi was just playing around since he hadn't told any of them about me yet, but I ended up being gullible and falling for the call myself."
"So you thought he hurt you and ended up hurting him instead."
"I never said it was the right move," Racy said nodding, "you've said it before...I run away from my problems."
"Yup," you sighed out before looking forward, "but you also push people you love away from you without a fight. You loved Yoongi, you pushed him away...you love Taehyung and you hurt him."
Racy looked over at you. She knew exactly where you were going with this.
"Tossing between Yoongi and Taehyung was one thing," you said slowly, "but adding in Jungkook, the boy who you swore you wanted nothing to do with the day you forced me to go on a date with him...do you love him?"
Racy was quiet.
Your voice had wavered near the end of your question. It physically took a toll on you to just ask, you couldn't imagine getting a response out of it.
She shook her head lightly and your body ached in pain. It surprised you that you weren't relieved, rather just saddened at the thought of the boy stuck in a one-sided love situation.
"But you do."
Your brows furrowed when looking over at the girl who looked at you blankly.
"Stop," you said lowly before slowly getting up from sitting next to the girl.
Racy had no expression.
"You didn't deny it," Racy said shocked as everything she had been thinking clicked within her quick.
"Of course I love him, he was a friend," you said as you stepped back. Racy shook her head.
"You know exactly what kind of love I was talking about and yet you still didn't deny it," Racy popped irritated and your eyes narrowed.
"What's with the attitude? If I do or not, it shouldn't effect you," you snapped, feeling shitty that everyone other than yourself seemed to have your feelings figured out.
"Because he's my friend and I don't want to see him hurt," Racy began.
Your brows arched high at that. You laughed in disbelief, "You're joking right? This coming from the girl that's behind him constantly having his heart broken?"
"Oh, that explains him crying after the fight this morning with you right?" she snapped back, rolling her eyes.
Your whole expression went from angry to numb. "What?" you asked, eyes softening immediately, your heart dropping to your stomach abruptly.
"Yeah, the whole talk about him 'befriending me for the wrong reasons' is actually for you isn't it?" she argued pissed, "You know you can't be his friend because you love him and he'd never love you back. That's why you gladly let him go right?"
You felt your eyes sting. The thought of him crying because of this morning lingering, but what she said after simply made you angry. "No. That's not right," you retorted, "I'm letting him be because he's a big boy that can make decisions for himself. He chose you and I'm finding myself to try and be okay with it! If he finds happiness in pining over you all the time then be it! It's none of my business to get involved-"
"BUT IT IS! YOU LOVE HIM SO OF COURSE YOU'D WANT HIM TO STAY AWAY FROM ME!"
"I want him to be happy," you said breathy, face scrunched, "and if you were to be the reason for his happiness, then I'd be happy and leave both of you alone."
Racy didn't say anything.
"But the thing is," you said through your teeth, "you aren't what makes him happy. You make him upset daily by leading him on!"
"I don't lead him on!"
You squeaked an unfamiliar sound. "YOU NEVER USED TO TALK TO HIM MUCH WHEN YOU WERE INTERESTED IN TAEHYUNG! You didn't acknowledge him when you slept with Yoongi! You suddenly became buddy-buddy with him when the men you were interested in left, and all you had was bad publicity and angry BTS fans to worry about!"
Her eyes burned with rage at that.
"What?" you yelled, "First time hearing the truth?!"
"I'm not an attention whore if that's what you're implying!"
"I'm not implying anything," you said lowly as your jaw clenched, "I'm simply stating facts."
Racy's eyes narrowed at that.
"Let me state a fact now," Racy said through her perfect mouth, "Jungkook loves me. He always will. Like he once so rudely said..."
She trailed off and you moved numbly in your spot.
"You're nothing compared to me," she popped.
Your lips trembled a bit but you managed to force yourself not to shed a single tear. You weren't going to cry in front of her anymore. She didn't deserve that satisfaction.
"I've come to be aware of it," you said shakily before hugging yourself a bit, "It sucks but I have."
Racy bit her tongue a bit at that, her eyes softening a tiny bit. She could tell you were trying to hold back tears.
"Y/N-"
"The difference here though," you said with difficulty, "t-the difference is that Jungkook befriends you hoping for more. I befriended Jungkook knowing that he'd never even try with me."
"Okay just don't cry I-"
"He's hopeful. I'm not at all," you said smiling painfully.
Racy nodded slowly and unknowingly, her mind clouded when seeing her friend tear up before her.
"So yeah...I guess he's not the only one stuck in a one-sided love."
Your whole heart shattered completely when you let yourself come to terms with your pushed away feelings. Wanting so bad to take it back, you couldn't as you let it spill. Every bit of strength that was left in you disappearing. You cried, defeated.
"I love Jungkook," you whimpered.
