A Year Later: 2004

Michael and the kids are staying at a hotel in LA, he had already called Martin down and told him about how long or often he was going to stay until he will take a flight over to Berlin. Today he told the kids that they were going with him to the LA mall with him and thankfully he already knows what to do to carry them out of the public. 

"Rise and shine my little one's. Today we're going to the mall." Michael said in a cheerful husky voice.

"Why?" They whined.

"We might get to see the toys and may be something interesting that you guys like often." He spoke with sympathy in it to grab they're interest in that choice of topic and eventually they all got out of bed to get dressed.

After they got dressed Michael told them they would be getting breakfast by the drive-through at McDonald's with Martin tagged along with them on the road. When breakfast was over and they decided it was time to stop by at the mall, Michael had hooked on a safety harness unhooked for the little ones that could not escape from his pant leg.

"You bought 12 to fit around your waste!?" Martin gasped in astonishment.

"Yep. They made 12 hoops for me to keep track of them." Michael replied.

1 hour later

"My feet hurt." Blue complained.

"I'm thirsty." Star choked out. Michael digs in the baby bag that Martin is holding for him as he pulled out a sippy cup for her to drink out of as she handed it back to Martin.

"How many things did you pack for them?" He asked.

"What I need to prepare for them if they ask for it is what its in there." Michael reponded to his question. 

Inspire then looked up to see one of the toys over by the market that he tap on the others who turned and looked over at him confused of his excitment.

"What is it?" Freckles asked.

"The toy store!" He exclaimed.

"But we can't leave." Hope said.

"Yes we can." He said in a stubborn tone as he looked at the wrist band on tide down as he pulled it off. He helped some of them as they took off to go look in the toy store without letting Michael or Martin notice them being gone as they continued to walk to around.

Snow Pov

Look at all the cool toys here! Babysitter Michael was right, this place is the best one I haven't seen. 

While looking through the toys I went out to the exit and stopped as I saw there was no sign of Babysitter Michael! He's gone! 

"Guys! Babysitter Michael left us!" I gasped as they and began to panic also.

"We need to find him but this place is huge. So we'll have to stick together." Rainbow said.

"Yeah. But how can we find him?" I teared up as Hope comfort me.

"We will. Let's just walk down the huge place and see if we can find him." Star said as we began walking out of the store and roam around this huge outside one together. 

Cupcake Pov

We walked around for like 10 minutes and no sign of him anywhere. Did he forget us?

"We'll never find him!" Freckles stomped her feet onto the ground.

"Calm down. It's all of Inspires fault if he hadn't left us to go into the toy store!" Blue pointed out as Inspire looked angry at him.

"So? We can't stay locked tight with him." He yelled.

"Shut up!" Blue yelled out as we gasped.

"Ooh! You said a bad word!" Wish exclaimed.

"Be quiet. Otherwise things could get worse for us." Hope said.

"Well someones trying to always make things right. You can't help but to stop every fight we get into." Inspire said pushing her back a little as Hope huff but Snow stepped in front of them.

"Stop Inspire." She said.

"Hmp, you too." He pushed her back as she pushed him harder causing him to tumble back against a pile of expensive glass of drinks stacked up. They let out a gasp as some people noticed as they quivered.

"We need to hide!" I exclaimed.

"Quick! In here." Brain pointed out as we hidden behind some room that read, 'Employees Only'.

Michael Pov

Martin and I made it to my favorite store that I like to shop in which everything was high price. I had enough money to spend on and later I can take the kids to buy a toy and treat afterwards. The kids! 

"Oh my goodness! I forgot that the kids are so bored. Guys I hope you all could forgive me its no wonder you're being so awfully quiet-" I turned around to see none of them behind me as I began to panic and worried only I saw were the loose bracelets.

"KIDS!" I called out as I look down only to see the security guards pushing the fans back away. 

"Michael I think it would be reasonable if you-"

"Not now! The kids are missing somewhere around this big store." I cried out and gripped my head scalp praying over to God that they are not kidnapped or anything. 

We went down and reported to any security officer to search for the 12 missing children in this huge mall that I hope they haven't gone far to escape. I was sitting on the bench holding a ball of tissue and sat there blankly staring at it. Martin was only having a conversation with them to question about if they have found them for the last 30 minutes or so. I looked around seeing some parents taking care of a small child of they're own that I began missing them more.

"Michael the security officer said to remain calm and they will find them." Martin said in calm remaining voice as I sniffled. 

"I can't keep putting myself like this! There are 12. 12 kids that are missing! If something happen I would...What else can happen to them would be awful for them and....for me." I cried out as I used the tissue to wipe away my tears.

"Just stay calm and pray to God if he's hearing your cry." He said.

"It would take a miracle if I heard one of they're voices." I sniffed.

That's when the intercom in the mall began to screech in a very high ear pitch we had to cover our ears that it was so loud.

"Hey! Don't touch that Blue!" I heard Cupcakes voice.

"Sorry!" Blue apologized.

"Geez. We're looking for Babysitter Michael and you pressed the wrong button." Star scolded.

"Hey, quit whining and see if you can keep finding him." Hope said as they shut it off. 

I gasped in delight and smiled that an security officer walked over to us saying,"I know where they are. Follow me." We followed him to the surveillance camera room that when he opened the door to reveal them all staring at the cameras. One head turned around and it was Rainbow.

"Babysitter Michael!" She cried out running up to me as the other's did too. I fallen onto my knees as we embrace and cried as I kissed they're cheeks one by one.

"I was so worried and scared that I lost you all." I cried.

"We're sorry. We went to see the toy store." Snow replied as my eyes widen remembering that I promise to take them to see the toys as I sighed.

"I'm deeply sorry that I forgot to take you all there. Can you forgive me?" I asked in hopeful eyes.

"Yes." They replied as we shared a big hug together. 

"Who need to use the restroom?" I asked as all hands raised as we took them to use the bathroom. 

After that was through we thanked the security officers and left the mall. Martin left with his own vehicle as we drove out that night to get a treat of ice cream and eat there until we could go back to the hotel later.

"I was really scared and thought I had lost all of you. Please never do that again."

"We won't." They said.

"So when do we go to school?" Freckles asked.

"That's something hard to think about and to even go over with." I said rubbing my head.

"Are we going?" Snow asked.

"I'll think about it. Just give me time sweetie." 

When ice cream was done and out of the way we road all the way back to the hotel which Blue and Rainbow fell asleep so I had to carry them and take the other's upstairs with me back up to the rooms. We lived in 2 separate rooms; I slept on the sofa and they slept in bed that was the least I could do for them and after that long day I deserve a break.
